Louise wiggled a bit on top of him. Her pussy filled to the brim with him. With each rock of her hips, she managed to rub her clit against the hard area of his pelvis. Soon she realized that the combination of clitoral stimulation combined with his fingers slowly rimming her back hole was magical.
“Lou?” Nix prompted, steadily creeping the finger a little deeper into her backside.
“It feels so dirty.” Louise panted, moving her hips faster without releasing him from her body.
Nix gave her a dirty grin before sliding his finger farther into her body, using his new handhold to move her up and down his rod.
The combination of sensations encompassing her entire lower body was enough to send her over the edge. Unable to move more than the involuntary shudders that overtook her muscles, Louise let out a sound she had never heard herself make before.
“That’s my girl,” Nix ground out. His jaw grew tight with the strain of holding back his own orgasm.
“Fuck me,” Louise whispered as she came down from her high, slowly coming to her senses. Her hips started to falter. Her body jolted on his own, the copious amounts of wetness between them creating a sound that was obscene.
Nix reached down and thumbed her clit, which caused her to clench her sheathe. The fullness reminded her that he hadn’t come yet. Something she was prepared to remedy as soon as possible.
Licking her lips, Louise felt a second wind come over her. The exhilaration from her orgasm rushing through her body prodded her to move faster than before.
Dipping and swirling, she placed her palms on his lower abdomen. The sweat made her grip slippery, and her hands slid up and down his washboard stomach as she rocked back and forth. Nix kept one hand on her ass, but the other came around to grab one of her breasts, which bobbed up and down.
It wasn’t long before she felt the thighs underneath her become rock hard with tension as Nix pushed his head back into the pillow with a shout to the ceiling. Louise huffed, trying to catch her breath as she felt him spurt into the condom, filling the tip with his seed.
“You’re going to kill me.” Nix panted followed by his smacking palm against her moist hip.
“We’re going to kill each other,” Louise rasped out before giggling. “But, what a way to go.”
Chapter 25
“What did your neighbor say again?” Nix asked from the passenger seat of her car.
Louise frowned and nudged the blinker to turn into her cul-de-sac. “That there has been a car parked in the driveway overnight for the past few days, and he didn’t recognize it.”
Nix raked a strong hand through his hair looking frustrated at her answer. “Why did he just now call you? I mean, if it’s been there for a couple days, why didn’t he call earlier?”
“He said that he thought I had gotten a new car or something.” Louise shrugged and pulled into her driveway, which happened to be empty of the mysterious car. “Well, there’s no car here.”
“That doesn’t mean that there isn’t anyone inside. Stay in the car for a minute and let me check it out,” Nix instructed.
“But your foot—”
“Lou.” Nix sighed giving her a strong look. “Work with me here, darlin’. I don’t want you walking in there if someone’s been waiting for you to come home.”
Louise knew he had a point. Regardless of his foot, Nix was a force to be reckoned with. “Fine.” Handing him his crutch that was tucked behind her seat, she tried not to laugh when he gave it a dirty look. “Just a few more weeks.”
“I know, I know.” After shutting her door, Nix limped up her front walk and managed to hop up the stoop to the door.
Louise watched as he tested the knob before reaching into his pocket for the keys she had given him to her place. So that meant the door was locked like she normally left it. That was a good thing, right?
Before entering, Nix turned around and shot her a look that clearly said do not come in u nless I say to .
It seemed like a lifetime. Although, judging by the clock, Nix had only been in the house less than five minutes. Reappearing with an expression she couldn’t quite figure out, Nix gave her a nod to signal the all clear.
“Anything missing?” Louise asked, jogging up the pathway.
“Nope, but there’s something you need to see.” Nix looked puzzled as if what was inside didn’t make sense. “I think you have a squatter. I’m going to call a guy I know that works security. He owes me a favor, so he should be able to get over here today to change the locks. Hell, I may even have him put in a security system while he’s at it.”
“Nah, I don’t need a system.” Louise went to move past him into the house.
“Lou, the neighbor didn’t call for four days when there was a mystery car sitting in the driveway overnight. I’m not going to be able to relax if I am worrying that you’re not safe whenever you’re here without me.”
Opening the door, Louise knew he was just being honest with her and not necessarily trying to smother her. She also knew that he was most likely going to get his way, mostly because she was a little freaked out as well at the fact that her normally observant neighborhood had neglected to give her a heads up that there was a possible squatter in her home.
“Holy. Shit.” Louise breathed roughly, taking in the mess that once had been her clean living room.
Clothes covered her furniture, draped over almost every surface as if a teenager had some sort of fit with their wardrobe. Takeout bags and cartons lined her coffee and end tables, some of them still full of half-eaten food. Beer bottles and miscellaneous cans littered the rest of the available surfaces in the living room.
Her home was a fucking mess.
“Is the whole place like this?” Louise asked, tears in her voice at the thought of such a personal violation of her space.
“The bathroom and kitchen are a pig sty, but your bedroom doesn’t look like it’s been touched. Whoever has been here has been staying in the guest room from what I could see.” Nix used his crutch to point down the hallway to the bedrooms.
“Well, might as well see if anything is missing while we wait for the cops.” Louise let out a tired sigh at the idea of having to clean all of it up.
“Did you call them already?”
“Not yet.” Louise reached into her back pocket to pull out her phone when she caught sight of something from the corner of her eye. “What the fuck!”
Nix moved quickly in front of her in a protective stance. “What’s wrong, darlin’?”
Louise pointed down the hallway to the guest bedroom doorway. “I saw a cat.”
“A cat?”
“Yeah, and it belongs to the person whose ass I am going to kick,” Louise said angrily, slipping around Nix and striding into the guest room. “C’mere Sugarplum.” Making kissy noises, she waited for the distinctive looking feline to come out from where she had been hiding under the bed.
“That’s the fattest cat I’ve ever seen,” Nix noted. His voice was full of awe at the gigantic size of the beast before him.
“I’ve told her she needs to put him on a diet, but she doesn’t listen to anything I say.” Louise bit out, noting the trashed guest room. “Junior kept this room cleaner than she does, and he’s only four fucking years old!” Kicking a pile of clothes on the floor, she cringed at the smell of cat urine that wafted from the bundle.
“Jesus Christ, what the hell is that smell?” Nix covered his face and blinked several times with watering eyes.
“Ammonia,” Louise explained. “Cat urine has an ammonia smell and Sugarplum’s stinks more than most. Don’t worry about that fat pain in the ass though. The vet says he’s fine.” Louise stomped out of the room and headed to the kitchen, leaving Nix behind.
“Where are you going?”
“I’m getting a trash bag, so I can gather all this shit and put it on the curb!” she hollered from the pantry where she kept her cleaning supplies.
“Lou.” Nix cleared his throat and waited for her to acknowledg
e him. “Lou,” he said louder when she continued to grab odds and ends and cram them without care into the large black bag. “Who’s been staying here?”
“Maggie,” Louise said with a sniff before deciding she probably didn’t want to breathe through her nose until the place had been cleaned top to bottom.
“Maggie?” Nix parroted in a confused voice.
“Maggie Rose, my dumbass sister.” Louise glared at him even though he had no part in the mess she was having to clean up. “You remember, the sister that you dated before me?”
Nix held his hands up in surrender, letting his crutch lean against his body unused while he balanced on one foot. “Hey now.”
Louise dropped the bag and blew out a gust of air, letting some of her anger flow out at the action. “I’m sorry.” She covered her face with her hands, feeling awful for snapping at him when he had only ever helped.
“Lou, it’s okay.” Nix wrapped his arms around her, offering her the comfort she didn’t know she needed. “It’s okay, baby. You’re telling me that Maggie’s been staying here without telling you?”
“That’s what it looks like.” Louise kicked over another pile of crap her sister had dumped on the floor.
“But why?”
“I don’t know, but I’m going to find out.” Louise called her mom to find out if she had known anything about Maggie’s new hobby of breaking and entering.
“I don’t think she’s alone, darlin’.” Nix used the tip of his crutch to raise a pair of men’s jeans off the floor.
“Ewwww, gross.” Louise wrinkled her nose at the pair of grungy denim pants.
“Mom.” Louise listened to her mother sigh tiredly on her side of the phone. “Do you know what Maggie’s been up to?”
“She goes by Rose now, Lou.”
Louise rolled her eyes at the woman who drove her nuts more than she would like. “I don’t care what she goes by. Did you know she broke into my house?”
“Don’t be so dramatic. She didn’t break in.”
“Well then how the hell did she get into my house?” Louise snapped, angry that her mom not only knew about it, but didn’t seem concerned in the least.
“She asked for the spare key we have for the house.”
Louise pulled the phone away from her ear and stared at it as if it were some sort of foreign object. “What the hell?”
“Don’t you speak to me like that,” her mother snapped.
“Mom, I want you to listen very carefully to me,” Louise said. “The key at your place was for emergencies only. You know, like if I lost my keys or got locked out. NOT TO LET MAGGIE INTO MY HOUSE TO DESTROY IT.”
“I’m sure she didn’t destroy anything, Lou. There ya go being dramatic again.”
“Uhhh.” Louise couldn’t believe what she was hearing.
“She needed a place to stay, and you know how I use the spare room now for my quilting,” her mom continued, completely oblivious to the fact that Louise was so mad there was almost steam coming from her ears.
Nix plucked the phone from her hand. His frown showed that he had heard enough to know what was going on. Hitting the end button to hang up, he shook his head in anger. “Your family is nuts.”
“I feel sick,” Louise muttered.
“How did you turn out so normal?” Nix tucked her phone back into her hand, his voice light.
“I don’t know. Maybe I’m adopted?” Louise knew her voice sounded hopeful even though she was pretty sure it was a bad bet. Maybe she should get one of those online DNA kits though just to be sure.
Nix snorted, bringing her attention back to him, pulling her close for a quick hug. “Go grab some more trash bags, and I’ll help you get this cleaned up. Any idea where your sister is?”
“I would say her apartment, but since she seems to have moved in here, I have no idea.” Louise smacked Nix on the ass, enjoying his startled expression before he let a grin take over his face.
“Hurry that cute ass up, Lou.” Nix’s eyes promised retribution as she slipped out of the room to grab cleaning supplies. Collecting the items she needed didn’t take long, and before she knew it, she was back in her guest room breathing the fumes from her sister’s mess.
Louise had to hold back a giggle at the sight that greeted her when she walked back in. “What are you doing?”
“He kept trying to rub against me,” Nix complained, holding out his crutch to ward off Sugarplum where he was winding around the wooden brace.
“Oh honey, I’m so sorry.” Louise hurried close to scoop the cat up and out of the room. “I forgot you are allergic.”
“If we keep this quick, it shouldn’t be an issue.” Nix shrugged before starting to push the stuff on the floor into one huge pile with his crutch. “These things actually come in fairly handy, don’t they?”
Louise snorted, bending down to scoop the pile of fabric into one of the bags. She didn’t care what all was in the pile as long as it got the fuck out of her house. When her hand touched an empty condom wrapper, she almost jumped right out of her skin.
“Yuck!” Shaking her hand as if that would take away the feeling of disgust she turned to Nix. “I’m going to get the gardening gloves we have in the shed.”
“That’s a good idea,” Nix said as he continued to use his crutch to poke the piles as if waiting for something to jump out and get him. “I think I had a few masks left from when I stained the vanity. You may want to grab those too.”
Jogging down the hall, Louise let out a sigh of frustration at the entire situation. She was so preoccupied with thoughts of what cleaning needed to be done, she didn’t realize there was a man standing at the mouth of the hallway until she was almost face to face with him.
Unable to stop the surprised scream that erupted from her, Louise heard Nix call her name in panic before she was grabbed by the shoulders.
Chapter 26
“Lou!” Nix yelled, panicked after hearing what sounded like a scream come from his woman. “Louise!”
Forgetting about his broken foot, he made to run to her when the pain stopped him in his tracks. “Fuck, Louise? Lou baby, tell me you’re okay.”
Limping out of the guest room and into the hallway, Nix almost lost his mind when he saw her in the arms of a man he couldn’t quite see clearly.
“Hey, hey, hey, everyone calm down.”
Nix recognized Maggie’s voice, but that didn’t explain who had scared his Lou.
“Maggie?” Louise asked calmly. The sound of her voice soothed Nix.
Nix didn’t stop until he was right behind her, tugging her back into his body and away from the startled-looking man she must have run into. Nix glared at Maggie and the other interloper.
“Hey sis,” Maggie said cheerfully, oblivious to the anger rolling off Louise in waves.
Nix could feel the stiffness in Lou’s body, her anger obvious to him. “Who are you?” Nix interrupted, glaring at the man with Maggie.
“I’m Rob. Nice to meet you.” Holding out his hand, the idiot had no idea how close he had been to getting his teeth knocked down his throat.
Ignoring the hand held out in front of him, Nix leaned close to Lou’s ear and whispered, “You okay, darlin’?”
“Yeah, just scared the bejeezus out of me.” Emphasizing her fear with a small shiver, Louise’s reaction made Nix feel angry all over again.
“You make it sound like we attacked you when it was you who practically mowed Bob down.” Maggie propped her hand on her hip casting a haughty glance his way.
“Ummm, my name is Rob.”
Maggie waved him off as though she really didn’t care what his name was.
“Maggie, who the fuck do you think you are?” Louise asked, her voice eerily calm.
Nix raised his eyebrows at the tone coming from his normally sweet as sugar girl. Actively fighting not to smile, he bit his lip when he noticed Maggie take a step back.
“Uhhh,” Maggie stuttered.
“What the hell were you thinking asking
Mom for my key?” Louise asked, getting nose to nose with her.
“Whoa, I have a feeling there’s some family drama here I didn’t sign up for. I just came to get a couple things I left.” Rob muttered, trying to edge past Nix in the hallway.
Puffing up his frame, he narrowed a look at Rob that had the man stopping in his tracks.
“Where do you think you’re going?” Nix asked gruffly, not letting him pass one inch.
“To get my stuff?” Rob asked, his gaze hopeful.
“Don’t think so, buddy.” Nix shook his head with a grim look on his face.
Dismissing the lanky man as no threat, he refocused on Louise and her sister. The sister who was very lucky to still be breathing if the look on his girl’s face was anything to go by.
“It’s not a big deal, Lou.”
“Oh hell yes it is.” Louise sucked in a big breath. Nix knew she was about to blow. “First of all, this is my fucking house. Not yours. Not Mom’s. Mine. That key was for emergencies when I needed to have a backup.”
“C’mon, I’m your sister, and I needed a place to stay for a bit.”
Nix tried not to wince at the whiny voice coming from Maggie. The sound was truly grating, and she had only said a handful of words so far.
“Not my problem.” Louise slashed her hand through the air with the efficiency of a samurai warrior. “This is a new low. Even for you.”
“You’re seriously going to freak out because I crashed here for a while?” Maggie looked around, obviously trying to find a way out of the mess she was in. “What about him?”
When Maggie pointed at Nix, he could only raise his eyebrow in challenge. “What about me?”
“Everyone knows that y’all are shacking up. Dad saw him driving your car a couple weeks ago, and Junior said he even had a key to the house. I needed a place to stay, and we didn’t think you’d care one way or another. It’s not like you were here anyway.”
Louise shook her head. “That’s no excuse, and you know it, Mags.”
“Pfft.” Maggie rolled her eyes, making Nix fear for her safety.
