“Master,” he said, unlocking the cross-reality communication device.

“Are you making progress?” the Demiurge enquired.

“We have just taken numerous smaller systems from Alliance control; other systems are submitting to our will,” he said proudly.

“Good, I should have had you leading the Draco, not Anu,” it said. The Archon couldn’t help but grin with pleasure upon hearing his master’s words.

“Sophia is still causing concern. I haven’t been able to locate her yet,” it said.

“Once I have done as you please, perhaps I could aid you again?” the Archon offered.

  “I’d like that.”

  Chapter 10

Viden was sitting on a beach near to his new-found home, drifting in the breeze observing the beautiful environment before him. A noise emanated from the cave a few hundred metres away, it caught his attention in an instant, he knew the call. He rushed over in the direction of the noise, looking around intently for the cause. An essence wavered around, forming beside him.

“I thought you were dead or something? After last time,” he said.

“Not exactly, what’s happened?” she asked.

“The Draco destroyed Earth,” he said.

“With the black hole generator?” she blurted back.

“No, and there’s more, the alliance used it against Agarta,” he said solemnly. His energy depleted upon revealing the dreadful news to her.

“Oh Viden,” she said, comforting him. She placed her hand over his head and closed her eyes. She vibrated his body and spirit at her frequency, showing him the true nature of everything, he panicked.

“What’s happening, where am I?” he said.

“You wish to see the truth, now is the time,” she commented.

“Where are we?” he demanded further, trying to gesture where his body should be.

“There is no ‘we’, you are not your physical body Viden, you aren’t Viden either, you are everything!”

The environment swirled around showing different frequencies, showing the code that made his universe. He was pulled away, out of the prison and back home. The beautiful Earth radiated with life, radiated with beauty on all spectrums, but it too was merely a creation. After some ‘time’ it faded away, revealing a deep, infinite ball of darkness. He became one with it, the dazzling darkness, the silence encompassed him. He felt nothing but pure peace and tranquillity. He saw it all, everything, it’s indescribable. Time faded away, he saw the past, present and future of all possibilities simultaneously, a trillion different timelines of every conceivable reality diminish into one. After what felt like a lifetime he became ‘himself’ again.

“That’s the secret,” she said, her voice emanating from everywhere.

  “Why?” he posed.

“There is no why,” she said. She showed him the Demiurge, its morose and twisted inorganic essence radiated evil.

“That’s what they serve,” he commented. “What is this place?” he enquired further.

“You already know, you know all things, you just need to access it,” she replied. The environment swirled and vibrated away. It seemed as though they were travelling downward. He felt more and more restricted and confined within his mind as they went, until they returned to the cave. He succumbed to the amazement and fell to his knees gasping for air. A few moments passed, and he composed himself.

“So, reality is nothing like it is here, it’s trapped us all,” he said.

“Correct, that is why it was trying to keep us in servitude and low vibrational frequencies. The conflict that it creates supresses and blinds those trapped to the truth, the truth that this place you inhabit isn’t real,” she explained.

“What can I do?” he asked, unsure on how to proceed.

“We need to destroy the server that is emitting the frequency band of this reality, you cannot do anything from within. I won’t fail you again, you must break out and achieve Gnosis,” she responded. Her essence began to fade away and he placed his hand in the mist around him.

“You almost did it once Viden, you will need to succeed this time or all of us will fall.”

“But how?” he murmured, he didn’t know what to do and this frustrated him greatly. His restricted mind could not comprehend what had just transpired, he struggled to remember what he just experienced.

He returned to his belongings on the beach, he grabbed his mask in his hands wandering in thought, observing it.

“Are you Ragnos?” an inquisitive child asked, disrupted from his thought, he attempted to find the voice behind him.

“What?” he responded to the young boy.

“Ragnos, the greatest warrior in the universe,” the child commented, a glint in his young eye.

“No, no I’m not,” he answered with a smile.

“Will the monsters win?” the child said, covering his eyes with his arm to shield them from the sunlight.

“No,” he knelt and placed his hand on the boy’s shoulder. “I promise you I will stop them.” He released the child’s shoulder and travelled back to his ship. The child looked on with hope.

“V, do you know where they are?” he asked.

“Yes, they will be in the Zeta Reticulan system, with those critters,” she remarked with distain.

  “Take me to him.”

They travelled through hyperspace to the system where the Draco were now primarily stationed since Agarta was destroyed. They emerged from hyperspace above the planet, the Patsule space station sitting beside a large, rocky but dark, morose world. There was no observable life on this world. Many ships and fleets were scattered about the area around the planet, none paid attention to him as he travelled into the atmosphere.

“Take me to their main base, over there!” he said, “It looks like the base on Agarta,” he said. Observing the gargantuan structure from high in the atmosphere.

“Yes, he will be there,” she answered. They travelled for a short time until they reached their target and he landed outside the structure. He placed his battle garments and mask on, departing from the ship. Viola, in her physical body, began to follow.

“V, stay with the ship,” he said. She returned to her motherboard.

“I hope you know what you’re doing,” she commented, whilst he continued.

He approached the pyramid and doors opened, he strolled through the lengthy corridor. Same design as Agarta. Humanoid entities roamed through the facility, the same entities from his nightmares. A horrific stench followed their persona, twisted and ugly they were expressions of the Demiurge, like the Draco, they served it. They did not seem to pay any attention to him, to his surprise. He soon found the throne room where Anu and the Lord Archon would be. The same towering obsidian doors sitting between him and them. He took multiple heavy breaths, contemplating on what he was about to do. He mustered up the strength to barge through the doors. The room was empty.

Symbols littered the room, symbols which viewed in different light spectrums, promoted the will of the Demiurge. In his greater awareness he sensed that. The same symbols littered the base in Agarta, even his living quarters, keeping the sub-conscious mind blind to the truth. He received a transmission from Viola saying the Mikasa and Phoenix were approaching the base. He rushed outside, and they landed near his ship.

Anu and the Lord Archon had just conquered the Antares system. The ship doors opened, and they strolled out toward Viden. He stood defiantly in anticipation.

“Ah, Anu-Krai king of the Knights of…me,” Anu said arrogantly. “Come to celebrate with us, I see?” he mocked.

“My name is Viden, snake, I don’t serve you anymore,” he retorted menacingly. Anu’s arrogance swiftly turned to rage upon his response. Viden raised his blaster towards him poised to fire, the blaster configured to have the bolts laced with Nanopentium, he could penetrate the Draco’s Draconite armour. Anu responded in kind raising a blaster of his own. The Archon watched intently as the two faced-off. Viden lowered his blaster
.

“No, this is personal,” he remarked, he threw the blaster away. It crashed in the lifeless soil. Anu aimed the blaster at him still. Viden unholstered his sword and activated the temperature modifier. Ragnos had modified the blade to be laced with the element, so it too could now penetrate Draconite. Anu smirked beneath his mask intently and laughed menacingly. He too threw the blaster to the ground.

“Valiant, to the last,” Anu said. The Draco elder could not refuse a one versus one combat duel, especially with a human he despised. Viden knew the Draco elder would have fired upon him first due to his higher reaction speed, but he wanted to kill him properly.

The two directed their blades at one another, their weapons all laced with Nanopentium, were on an equal playing field. They began to fight, the Archon watched, seeds of anxiety growing within. They struck one-another multiple times.

“I’ve been looking forward to this,” Anu remarked.

“As have I,” he answered as they continued to fight.

“We will control this entire reality with an iron fist and eventually, the Source of all your consciousness! Your Earth!” Anu roared at Viden.

“You know nothing,” he stated firmly in response. After a few minutes of fighting, Viden became fatigued, he had fought valiantly, but he was being overwhelmed. Anu smashed him multiple times, knocking his blade out of his hand as he fell to the ground defeated. Anu grabbed him by the throat choking him, his legs squirming whilst he gasped for air.

“I must admit, I’ve only seen courage like this once before,” Anu poised his blade to strike as Viden dangled in his clutch. A shimmering light burst from a blaster. Anu fell lifeless to the ground, his clutch released Viden, who too crashed to the ground. The Lord Archon stood with a blaster in hand. Viden returned to his feet. The Archon dropped the blaster. Viden rushed over and hugged the Draco elder, squeezing him tight. The Archon didn’t quite reciprocate, he was shocked at the gesture of his former servant. He patted him on the back slightly, unsure on how to respond.

“You saved me, again,” he said thankfully.

“Four times now Kr…, Viden,” he responded pleasantly despite his domineering tone and presence. Viden released him from the hug.

“Listen to me, you have to go now, the Demiurge will be here shortly,” the Archon said anxiously, kneeling beside Viden so he was somewhat on his level.

“No, I’ll stand with you, we can fight it, together!” he said, hopeful of a victory.

“You know we can’t win, not this way, you must go, take this,” he equipped a computer chip in his hand. “It has coordinates and information for your AI assistant, it will guide you home,” he said, gesturing for him to leave quickly.

  “You’ll die,” he said gravely.

“Nothing can stop that, not now. Besides, I envy death at this point. The Demiurge will come for me, go!” the Archon demanded, wishing Viden would heed his warning. A wormhole opened twenty metres from them, taking both of their attention. A gargantuan figure walked through, observing his surroundings. The entity breathed evil, instilling fear in all who were misfortunate to gaze upon it. Viden lost his breath for a moment, the Draco are massive at up to twelve feet in height, this thing dwarfed them.

“Go!” the Archon demanded. Viden obeyed and rushed back to his ship nearby. The Archon approached his master in defiance.

“Enki, you disappoint me,” it remarked whilst grabbing Anu off the ground, it evaluated the dead Draco in its clutches and launched him away.

  Viden entered the atmosphere.

“Let’s go V!” he shouted. As he passed over them, he fired his primary blaster at the Demiurge, the shots deflected off the entity. It observed the craft with disdain as it flew away.

“Its protection cannot be penetrated, not even with Nanopentium,” she commented frantically.

  “Come on?” he moaned.

“It created this reality; do you think your weapons could ever damage it!?” she hurled back, snarky and upset. “We need to leave!” she added nervously. Viola, although she was an AI system, does feel something akin to fear with regards to the Demiurge. Knowing its capabilities and means of controlling all. She feared she would become its servant if it managed to get a hold of her. The Archon created her specifically to assist Viden, he gave her free will, therefore she was unique and free of the Demiurge’s plan, unlike the other AI systems used by the Draco.

The Archon equipped his blade, knowing it was futile he remained brave before death.

“You chose this human over me, what happened to you?” the Demiurge scowled.

“I don’t know, I guess he helped me realise I’m not fully gone, that I’m not yours to enslave anymore!” he said.

“Such a shame, you were always my favourite Archon,” the Demiurge responded.

“She will never let you win!” he retorted.

“You underestimate me Enki, you seem to forget that you were once one of the purest and kind-hearted beings in this entire omni verse, yet you fell before me. Existence will end eventually, by my hand or not, she cannot resist me, as you couldn’t. I should have known allowing a piece of you to persist was dangerous,” it described.

The Archon attempted to slash at the Demiurge who materialised a terrifying blade in an instant to combat the Draco elder. They fought for a few moments, until the Demiurge swatted him many feet away. In the confusion, the Draco was caught in the overpowered grip of the Demiurge.

“Don’t go after him,” he begged his master.

“He will join me or die,” it retorted maliciously. It ripped the head and spine clean out of the Draco’s torso. It cast the remains aside and ordered some of the grey entities to clean up the mess. It strolled back through a portal which manifested in the same position as when it arrived, returning to its base on Saturn outside the simulation.

Flashback: Enki was stood by his home. Lengthy arms, slim with an orange tinge lapped around him.

  “Love you,” she whispered.

“And I love you too,” he responded happily. In his true form, her purple eyes glisten off his own.

“They’re waiting for you,” she commented softly.

  “I know.”

They placed their heads on one another and shared a moment. He exited. He wore a long flowing silver garment, it glided over the soft surface in which he walked. The air, an ever so slight breeze brushed through his lengthy golden hair. He reached his council chambers and pushed through the thick, stone-like doors. The structure had an ancient stone appearance, it was very large in its dimensions. Various members of his culture greeted him, they applauded at his arrival. He reached a podium and began to speak to his comrades.

“Thank you all for your blessings,” he started. “We have made some remarkable progress in recent times. I cannot thank you all enough for allowing this vision to become a reality,” he said proudly. The room erupted with applause and gratification. His smile a beaming sun.

The doors flung open quickly, the thud took everyone’s attention. The stone doors dangled off its hinges. His smile faded in a second. A powering presence came through. He stepped down from the podium tentatively to confront it.

  “Who are you?” he demanded.

“The saviour,” it cackled in response.

The Demiurge emitted a terrible blast throughout the room. Everyone but Enki was knocked away. Enki stood, with a frequency shield, he deflected the Demiurge’s attack. He materialised two melee weapons and launched a flurry of strikes. The Demiurge parried, in its open palm a gem of pure starlight sat. It crushed it, to Enki’s dismay, everything went dark for him.

He woke violently sometime later, trapped and strapped to a table of sorts in a wretched, unknown environment. The Demiurge manoeuvred around him, applying various technological appendages onto Enki’s body. He tried ever so hard to break free of the contraption.

“You are mine, for the rest of your existence,” it commented softly. A frequency emanated from its outstretched hand above his head. The t
echnological appendages bolstered its potency. He screamed, his beautiful purple eyes converted to a raging red. He fell into darkness, forever.

  Chapter 11

“What does it have on it?” Viden enquired.

“Coordinates for a portal or wormhole between the simulation and…” Viola answered.

  “And…” he said.

“Another reality, the real reality if you wish, well the realest for now, I don’t really know to be honest,” she answered.

“And where that woman will be?” he said.

“Yes, she will be there…I assume.”

They landed in a space port on the world he had been living on for a while and made their way to his home.

“Master, what will we do with the simulation?” Apollo, another Archon asked.

“Send in Elohim, I need one of you to continue to command those disgusting creatures,” it responded brashly.

“Yes master,” Apollo exited the room. The Demiurge was quickly disturbed by Anu who ferociously barged into the control room.

“He killed me!” he roared. It pondered for a moment, it casts off Anu’s rage with a begrudging gesture. “He’s been plotting against us this whole time!” Anu shouted.

Anu crumbled to an unseen force. Succumbed to his knees in submission, in terrible pain.

“Quiet,” it responded, somewhat calmly despite its frustration at the situation, along with Anu’s failure.
