Belonging to Her Mountain Page 2

by Marla Monroe

Where Gabriel had kept his hands low, Baldwin ran his all over her back and even flirted with her ass a little. She had to catch her breath each time he moved his hand closer to her butt. It was naughty, but she liked it. She realized as they finally returned to their seats that she was having fun. She really hadn’t expected to have this much fun when she’d decided to go to the bar tonight. Not only was she enjoying the band, but she was enjoying sitting and talking with two men. What would Randi think of that when she told her?

  She’d be proud as shit.

  Chapter Two

Gabriel couldn’t stop looking at the beautiful woman sitting at the table with them. Her heart-shaped face and pretty sandy-blonde hair with those expressive hazel eyes was amazing. He loved to hear her talk in a husky voice with a touch of a southern accent. She couldn’t be more than five foot two or three inches and had curves he could appreciate. Her breasts were a little more than a handful, and her ass was made for squeezing.

He’d enjoyed having her in his arms but had to make himself keep his hands off that ample ass of hers. He’d wanted to hold it while he ground his hips against hers, but they didn’t know each other yet, and he felt it would be a little much to dirty dance on a first date. Hell, it wasn’t even a first date. They’d just asked her to sit with them.

He wanted to get to know her. Wanted to find out everything he could about her and ask her out on a proper date. He was sure Baldwin was on board with that idea from the way he’d danced with her. He hadn’t shied away from her ass by much. The other man had moved his hands up and down her back as though he owned it. No, his friend was just as interested in Tammy as he was.

Once the band took a break, Gabriel started asking questions to find out more about their new friend.

  “What do you do, Tammy?”

“Do? Oh, I’m a secretary for Bigsby and Sessions. They’re lawyers here in town,” she said.

“Do you like your job?” Baldwin asked.

She grimaced, then looked guilty. “It’s a good job.”

“But you don’t really enjoy it,” Gabriel said.

“Not really, but like I said, it’s a good job, and those are hard to come by in a small town.”

“You’re right. What about brothers and sisters? Your folks?” Baldwin asked.

“My parents still live in Mississippi, and my brother and sister are living there, as well. I think Aaron, my brother, will be moving to Georgia soon. He’s been looking there for a job since he graduated college last month.”

“I thought I detected some southern in your accent. What brought you here?” Gabriel asked.

“Came here with a friend to a dude ranch and fell in love with the area. We both did. Moved here together about six years ago and haven’t regretted it once,” she said.

“Not even when it snows twenty feet?” Baldwin asked with a huge grin.

“Not even. I love the snow. There’s nothing like standing outside when there’s at least a foot of snow on the ground and listening. There’s just this deep quietness that surrounds you,” she said.

Gabriel nodded. “I know what you mean.”

“So, what do you guys do?” she asked.

“We work for an accounting firm out of Billings, handling all their IT needs. They have a tech on-site, but we do most everything they need from here. Have to love technology where you can work from home and not have to brave traffic and the weather,” Gabriel said.

“We occasionally have to make a trip to Billings for meetings and such, but not very often, so this works for us,” Baldwin added.

“That’s amazing. I’d love to work from home. I’d never get out of my PJs,” she said.

“It has its perks,” Gabriel said.

“What about family? I gather you’re not brothers, since you don’t look very much alike,” she said.

“Actually, we’re stepbrothers,” Gabriel said. “My mom married his father when we were teenagers. Fought like cats and dogs at first, but finally figured out that we liked each other.”

  “Any other siblings?” she asked.

“We’ve got a younger half-sister who’s just turned twenty-one. Mom and Dad are having fits with her. She wants to move out to California, and they’re worried to death about her living out there,” Baldwin said.

“What do you guys think?” Tammy asked.

Gabriel smiled. “We think she needs to finish college, then move out there if she really wants to.”

“Have you told her that?” Tammy asked.

“Yep. So far, looks like she’s going get her degree, then make a decision on where she wants to move to. She’s tired of Billings and the cold,” Gabriel said.

“She’s lucky to have half-brothers like you who will support her decision. My parents and my siblings thought I was crazy to move up here. I still get the ‘when are you coming home?’ speeches when I talk to any of them.” Tammy shook her head and laughed. “Not going to happen.”

“I, for one, am glad you moved out here. We would never have met you if you hadn’t,” Baldwin said.

Gabriel felt the same way. She was sweet and fun to talk with. He had a feeling they’d enjoy spending even more time with her. He hoped they got that chance.

Tammy’s face grew a sweet shade of pink at Baldwin’s words. Yeah, she was just as sweet as her name implied.

What is it about her that appeals to me so much? Is it how shy she is or that smile? I love seeing her smile.

He had no idea what it was that had caught his eye the other day when they’d nearly run her over, but he’d thought about her off and on all that night, and then seeing her standing there leaning against that post had seemed like destiny. Baldwin had beaten him to the punch and stood to go get her.

“Oh, the band’s starting back up,” she said with a huge smile.

Gabriel couldn’t wait to get her in his arms again. The first slow song they played he was asking her to dance. He didn’t have to wait long. They played one fast song, then immediately transitioned into “Knights in White Satin.” Gabriel pulled her to her feet and led her to the dance floor, where he held her close as they swayed to the haunting melody. She was heaven in his arms.

I don’t think I’ve ever been this attracted to a woman in such a short time. I want to know everything about her.

Once the song was over, he reluctantly led her back to the table, then held her chair for her as she sat. He took his seat and smiled at her.

“I’m glad we saw you standing over there. You’ve made this a great night by sitting with us, Tammy.”

He loved seeing the blush creep over her cheeks. He wondered if her breasts flushed, as well. Gabriel could easily imagine her naked with that soft blush coloring her body as he made love to her with Baldwin, making her come over and over.

“I’m having a good time, too. Thanks for asking me,” she said.

“Are you busy tomorrow? We’d love to take you out to eat lunch,” Baldwin said.

“Um.” She seemed to hesitate before answering. “Sure. I’d like that.”

Gabriel smiled. She was probably a little confused that Baldwin had said they wanted to take her to lunch. It wasn’t normal for two men to ask one woman out, but then they weren’t the normal kind of men. They preferred to share their woman. Together they could give a woman more pleasure than they could alone. There was nothing like watching a woman come apart between them.

“That’s great. We’ll pick you up at eleven,” Baldwin said. “Here, hand me your phone and I’ll program our numbers in.”

Gabriel watched as she hesitated, then pulled her phone out of her purse and handed it over. The soft ping indicating Baldwin, then Gabriel had messages let him know his friend had sent them to their phones so they’d have her number, as well.

“Text us your address,” Baldwin said.

She took her phone from him and punched in the address before stashing the phone back in her purse. She looked a little unsure now that they’d exchanged numbers and th
ey had her address.

“Want another Corona, babe?” Gabriel asked.

“I think I’ve had enough for tonight. I have to drive home. I’d love a glass of water though,” she said.

“I’ll go get it for you. Baldwin?” Gabriel asked.

  “None for me,” he said.

Gabriel made his way to the bar and got Tammy her glass of water. When he returned, it was to find her laughing at something Baldwin had said.

“Love seeing you laugh, babe. Your face lights up like a summer’s night full of stars,” Gabriel said.

Again, she blushed. He could fall in love with those blushes.

After she finished her water, Tammy stood. “I really need to go now. I’ve had a great time tonight. Thanks again for letting me sit with you guys.”

“It was our pleasure,” Gabriel said. “We’ll walk you out. It’s not safe for a woman to walk outside alone this time of night.”

“Thank you. I’m sure I’ll be fine,” she said.

“Nonsense. Of course we’re going to walk you out. We’re heading home anyway,” Baldwin said.

They stood and Gabriel led while Baldwin brought up the rear with Tammy between them. He could clear a path through the throng of bodies listening to the band wrap up their gig. He had no doubt they’d play another couple of songs as encores, but he was satisfied with seeing Tammy to her car.

Once outside in the parking lot and the door closed, the noise was much quieter. He waited for Tammy to lead them over to her SUV.

Gabriel held her car door once she’d unlocked and opened her door. She turned and smiled up at them.

“Thanks for walking me to my car. I’ll see you tomorrow,” she said.

“Drive safe, Tammy. See you at eleven,” Gabriel said.

  “Night, hon,” Baldwin added.

They watched her drive away, then walked over to Baldwin’s truck. Gabriel climbed inside and closed the door.

“Can’t believe she showed up here tonight. What are the odds?” Baldwin said.

“I know. I didn’t think we’d ever see her again after we nearly ran her over yesterday. Must be fate, man,” Gabriel said.

“Love her curves. And her ass? Perfect.”

“She’s sweet, man. I could look into her eyes for hours.”

“Think she’ll go for both of us?” Baldwin asked.

“Only way to find out is to date her together and see how long it takes her to ask what the deal is. Maybe by then she’ll be too used to the both of us to put a stop to our dating her,” Gabriel said.

“If Phillip, Jasper, Austin, and Caleb can find their women, maybe there’s hope for us, as well,” Baldwin said.

“Think she could be the one for us?” Gabriel asked.

  “I don’t know, but I do know she’s special.”

  “Yeah, she is.”

Gabriel headed straight to his room once they got home. It was late and if they were going to pick her up at eleven the next day, he needed to get to bed. Unfortunately, his dick was hard as steel, and his balls were aching. She’d certainly fired him up after only a brief meeting. Dancing with her had been equal parts pleasure and pain, as his cock hadn’t gone down since.

Gabriel walked into his adjoining bathroom and turned on the shower to warm it up while he undressed. Stepping under the pelting water of the shower felt good. He quickly bathed, then soaped up his hand and ran it down the length of his shaft even as he closed his eyes and pictured Tammy naked, pressed against his naked body. She’d go to her knees and take his stiff rod in her hands as she opened her mouth to take him in.

  Fuck.

Just the thought of her hot little mouth on his cock had his balls tightening. His head fell back as he ran one hand over the tip of his cock, then back down his shaft in a tight grip. He pumped his dick as he thought about her swallowing him down over and over. He reached between his legs and cupped his balls as he thrust his dick through the tight grip of his hand.

Cum boiled in his balls as he tightened his hold and pulled from the tip to the root of his erection over and over, faster and faster until he was about to come. His balls contracted against his body, and hot jets of cum erupted from his dick even as he slapped the back of the shower stall and rose up on his toes, emptying his seed over his hands and against the tiles.

Gabriel had to lean against the wall for several long seconds to catch his breath before he cleaned up after himself. He hadn’t come that hard with just masturbation since he’d been a teenager. If just the thought of Tammy could do that to him, he wondered what it would be like to actually get his cock inside of her.

He stepped out of the shower and snagged a towel to dry off then padded into the bedroom and pulled back the covers to climb into bed. His last thought was to wonder if Tammy was thinking about them as she got ready for bed. He sure as hell had been. In fact, he hoped he dreamed about her when he slept.

  Chapter Three

Tammy decided that Randi was just as excited about her date as she was. The other woman had squealed when she’d told her about her night and the fact she had a date for lunch. They’d spent the last hour going through her clothes to find the perfect outfit for Tammy to wear. She would have just pulled on a pair of jeans and grabbed one of her blouses, but Randi would have none of it.

While she’d taken a shower and dried her hair, Randi had been selecting her outfit. As soon as she was dressed, the other woman began fixing her hair and applying her makeup.

“Really, Randi. I can do it,” she said.

“Nonsense. You’re going out on a date. I’m going to make sure you look your best.” Randi applied a hint of blush, then stood back and took in Tammy’s appearance. “You look amazing.”

“I feel like a doll you’re playing dress up with,” Tammy grumbled.

“So which one of the guys is picking you up?” Randi asked as she put away the makeup.

“I think both of them are.”

“Both of them? Are you kidding?” Randi paused with the hairbrush in her hand. “You’re going on a date with both men?”

“I suppose so. I really hadn’t thought about it until just now. They said ‘we’d like to take you to lunch.’ I think that means both of them.”

“Oh, girlfriend. You’ve jumped out of the sidelines into the scrimmage. I cannot wait until you get home,” Randi said.

“It’s only one date. They’ll probably never call me again. I’m not very interesting,” Tammy said.

“You sure as hell are, girlfriend. You just don’t show it all the time. You’ve got fire inside of you.”

  “If you say so.”

“They’re going to love you. Mark my words.”

“Maybe. I sure hope so. I kind of like them.” Tammy looked at herself in the mirror.

“That’s great. Maybe one of them will like you back and you can double date with me and Scott. Wouldn’t that be fun?” Randi asked.

“It would. Just having someone to talk to and go out to eat with would be nice,” she said.

“What am I? Chop suey?” Randi asked with a chuckle.

  “You know what I mean.”

“Let’s get you settled in the living room until they come. I don’t want you to mess up your hair or makeup before they get a look at you. You look great.”

At eleven on the dot, the doorbell rang. Tammy froze. Randi narrowed her eyes at her and jerked her head toward the door. She knew she needed to get up and answer it, but her body felt leaden. Finally, she managed to pull herself out of the chair and walk across the room to open the door.

Standing outside were both Gabriel and Baldwin. They looked handsome with their new-looking jeans and button-down oxford T-shirts. Gabriel wore a soft green, while Baldwin’s was a navy blue. They each looked good enough to eat.

“Hey, Tammy. Ready to go?” Baldwin asked.

“Yes. Let me get my purse.” She grabbed her purse off the table next to the door where she’d left it the night before and slung it over her shoulder.

>   Gabriel took her hand and stepped back. “You look amazing. Love the blouse, babe.”

“Thank you.” Tammy knew she was blushing from the heat rushing to her cheeks.

They led her down the hallway of the apartment building to the stairs. Thankfully her and Randi’s apartment was only on the second floor and not the third or fourth. She’d have hated to have gotten all hot and sweaty before she’d even gotten to spend time with them.

“Thought we’d hit the steak and fish house. Sound good to you?” Gabriel asked.

“Sounds nice. I love their grilled salmon,” she said.

Baldwin opened the truck door for her, then helped her step up into the big truck. Once she was inside, he reached across her to fasten her seat belt before climbing in next to her. Gabriel got into the driver’s seat and started the truck.

“Did you sleep well last night?” Baldwin asked.

“Like a rock. I had a great time,” she said.

“We did, too. Was because of you. Having someone to dance with and spend time with was great,” Gabriel said.

They arrived at the restaurant and after Baldwin helped her down while Gabriel opened the door to the building, the three of them stepped inside. The hostess led them to a table, telling them that their waitress would be with them shortly.

“What are you guys getting?” she asked.

“Steaks,” they both said at the same time.

Tammy laughed. “That didn’t take long. I’m guessing you always get steaks.”

Gabriel chuckled. “Yep. Can’t beat a good steak and a steaming potato.”

The arrival of the waitress to take their drink orders interrupted her from answering. She ordered sweet tea and the men ordered unsweet. She grinned as the waitress walked away from the table.

“I can’t get used to people drinking unsweet tea here. In the south, it’s either sweet tea or mixed, but rarely unsweet,” she said with a smile.

“Is that where you get your sweetness? From all the sweet tea your drink? Or is it because you’re from the south?” Gabriel asked.

Tammy smiled but looked down. She wasn’t used to all the compliments. She could feel the warmth of her blush travel up her neck to her cheeks once more.
