  Crimson Vampire Night

You heard many vampire werewolf love stories before, but probably not many gay ones and nothing quite like this one and you certainly never heard of ones where the male heroes were in love with each other. Gay men are always pushed to the sidelines or just put into a story for panering. Not this time! Gay men can be just as strong and as powerful as any straight man. You'll about to see that. In this story, you'll find that in this story, the gay men will save the day and defeat evil. They will kick ass and they will take names. This time the gay leads are the heroes and this is their story.

The supernatural world isn't much different from ours, well at least now it its. But it is one of danger and mystery even the 21th century. It’s like a russian nesting doll with layers and layers on crazy and wonder. There's good and evil then there’s the parts in between. But you’re find that out yourself soon enough.

In the city of St. Louis there is a system to be followed. The supernatural world there and it’s residence are ruled and governed by a dominant vampire clan that is well respected and very powerful. That clan is known as the Nightworth Legion ruled and headed by the Nightworth family.

The Nightworth Legion isn’t just a clan but also an army. They have thousands of warriors at their disposal, most of which are members of the Nightworth family themselves. The Nightworth family are a very old and powerful family of vampires that have existed almost before Jesus Christ was born or some say. Their line goes back to Cabal Nightworth from 100 B.C. who was said to be a Roman noble and a good friend of Julius Caesar himself. They were one of the first vampire families to come over to the new world to escape the vampire mass killings in England before the American Revolutionary War. Not only do they have powerful ties to nearly all other vampire clans and human governments but physically and combat wise as well. If there was ever a war in the supernatural order, The nightworth clan were always consulted first due to their kill and strength in combat.

The role of the Nightworth Legion is to keep peace and order in the supernatural world and the human world while maintaining security and balance to both. The rules of killing humans is only criminals and street scene while normal and regular citizens is forbidden. The punishment for the murder of a normal law abiding citizen is silver imprisonment or extermination. Vampires now feed and survive by willing blood givers called Providers who give their blood with payment through money, sex, or other means. The Blood Banks also act as a regular provider of blood While mention before, criminals are sued for blood and are allowed for killing such as death row inmates and local gang bangers taken off the streets. This also provides a service to the human government of the area and helps maintain a good relationship with the police as it cleans up the streets for them.

The Nightworth Legion also maintain secrecy of all supernatural beings especially vampires. Exposing the supernatural is forbidden and is met with severe punishment. It is also the responsibility of the Nightworth Legion to keep order by destroying all monsters that pose a threat to both the human and supernatural world. This includes undead abominations, demonic beings, and worst of all eldritch monsters, the one kind of monster both the human and supernatural world fear. They’re the kind of freaks you’d see in a lovecraft story. Some say they’re just stories. But not to the one vampires and other beings out there. They also protect against hunters killing innocent supernatural beings.

The Nightworth family is considered to be the strange mix between a medieval kingdom and a mafia family. It’s hard to say which one is the ladder. Ishmael and Helen Nightworth lead the family and the Nightworth Legion both of which are pureblood vampires meaning they are vampires born vampires and not turned. Ishmael is considered to be 600 while Helen is 356. They have two sons, prince Desmond who is next in line for the throne. Then there’s Deacon, the younger son and prince. Other various family members fill different roles in the Nightworth Legion but the clan is open to any and all vampires and supernatural kind as long as they follow the order. The greatest order of the legion is you must be strong and weakest gets you killed….fast.

But the Nightworth legion don’t have total control over the St. Louis area and they have one common rival that has been a constant thorn in their side, the thorn knowns as the Crimson Hounds. The Crimson Hounds are the St. Louis pack of werewolves that took up residence in the mid America region.

Werewolves aren’t the kind you’d find in Twilight or Teen Wolf. But more like the ones you see in The Howling, Dog Soldiers, and Underworld. Truly horrifying monsters that you don’t want to met under a full moon. Two legged monstrous beast that would rip a group of grown men to pieces in minutes.

They too are a respected pack in their race but they are more respected through power and fear. But they still have a sense of honor to them and refrain from killing innocent humans if possible. They control half of the St. Louis are but they stay mostly on the other side of the Missouri river and past St. Charles MO. They stick to the rural parts and the countryside around St. Louis. They hate the city and the loud sounds it makes. Mostly the Crimson Hounds consist of bikers, rednecks, and country folk. But doesn't mean you should look down on them or underestimate them.

The Crimson Hounds are lead my the Crimson family of werewolves who also come for a long line of werewolves. You can say that the Nightworth and Crimson families are nearly the same. But the Crimson Hounds come from out West back in the Wild West days. The Crimson Hounds once had a gang out tin the West. That’s right, they were a gang of gunslinger werewolves. The crimson Hounds even helped liberate Texas from Mexico back in the day.

The Crimson Hounds are lead by two alphas, Shane and Vesper Crimson, both of them the toughest werewolves you’d ever met. While they are the alphas, they also have their own council that help make decisions and govern the rest of the pack. Their only son is Weldon Crimson, next in line for the pack leader. Their roles are to keep the pack in line and to keep their patch a secret. The pack also make money off of bootlegging, pot growing, cattle and livestock raising for food, and most of all, killing and hunting other monsters for profit. When it comes to making a profit, the Crimson Hounds have less standards.

The Crimson Hounds have packs all over the south and Texas area but now are based here in the St. Louis area and given that they're werewolves, you can probably guess how they feel about vampires, especially the Nightworth Legion.

Both the NIghtworth Legion and Crimson Hounds collide consistently with they both constantly invading each other's territory. But it goes back more than that. Back in the day, werewolves slaughtered va
mpires out in the West but it wasn’t like they didn’t deserve it. Back then, vampires were truly monsters that saw humans as cattle. Good number of them are to this day. Werewolves all see vampires as fancy high shorse assholes that think their better than everyone. But both see each other as nothing but low savage scum of the supernatural world.

But the Nightworth Legion and Crimson Hounds have reached a truce and decided to stay out of each other's way. Both societies rule St. Louis keeping themselves to themselves. But things aren’t going to stay that way, especially with two young heroes who’s going to find that their love is stronger than their families hate and discover an adventure that will lead them to save not just their families but the entire world.

It was night, May 13, 2019. In East St. Louis was an old abandoned high school in the outskirts of town. There were lights on inside the place and sounds of a crowd cheering. There wa a cop car with two police officers driving by when they noticed the commotion coming from the place. The cop driver stopped on the street and was going to get out but his partner stopped him from doing so.

“What are you doing?” The officer in the driver seat said. “Checking out this place. I want to know what the hell is going on!” He said.

“Relax! This place is owned by Ishmael Nightworth! He and his partners come here sometimes!”

“Who the hell is Ishmael Nightworth?” “This bigwig businessman who owns a lot of properties around here. He’s got big pockets and is friends with the mayor and police chief so it’s best to not ask questions. Let’s just leave it alone and it’s better for all of us!” He said to the other cop. Then This 6.5 foot tall bald guy wearing a black suit and tie showed up buy the squad car. He was wearing shades and was budging with muscle. It looked like he was going to burst out of the suit.

“What can I do for you officers?” The man said in a deep voice. “Nothing! Just patrolling! Tell Mr. Nightworth everything is ok! Give him our best! We'll be on our way!” The officer in the passenger seat said.

“I certainly will! Mr. Nightworth bids you good night!” The man said. The cop driving took a look at him and could have swore the man’s eyes glowed red thought his shades. The squad car drove off as the comotion inside continued. Inside the gym of the school, it was a celebration you'd see in some kind of thunderdome arena fight. The gym had been converted into some kind of makeshift colosseum with over a thousand people in the seats. There were large fense the seats all over. But on closer look, they’re weren’t no ordinary crowd. While they cheered and yelled, you could see their fangs as clear as day. Their glowing red eyes lite up the colosseum benches like a LED light show. There were vampires of all kinds there, white, black, latino, you name it! They were all enjoying the fight below, spilling their blood drinks and someone them falling out of their seats.

Down in the arena was a large beard vampire with long hair and and great axe fighting this giant Chonchon which is a massive disembodied flying head with nine green eyes and a spiked barb tongue. The vampire warrior was fighting off the the giant monster, swing his greataxe back and worth to repel the giant tongue. Then the monster opened its mouth and tried to swallow the warrior by leaped out of the way in time. The crowd cheer with joy. This was the blood fights, battles where strong, powerful vampire warriors fight against the most dangerous of foes and msnoters and earned their honor. Here the weak are made strong and the strong grew even stronger.

Up above the crowd was this balcony with two large thrones and on those thrones were Ishmael and Helen Nightworth, head of the Nightworth family and ruler of the Nightworth Legion. Ishmael was a clean cut, 40ish, handsome looking man with a ivy league haircut and black suit with a red tie. You can say he looked very much like actor Sam Witwer. He had a looking of excitement watching the fight. His beautiful wife Helen had long curly glowing red hair and skin white as the arctic snow. Her dress was a long elegant gown that was as red as blood, just like her lipstick. She had a wine glass in her hand enjoying fresh blood and the thrill of the fight.

“The monsters aren’t the standard type you usually have during the Blood Fights!” Helen said.

“We changed it up to keep the warriors on their toes. Reparation is a habit that leads to a slow death!” Ishmael said. “We can't have that now!” Helen said. “I remember watching you down there back in the day. Just a native vampire boy trying to win his father's honor.”

“Was it my fighting skills that make you watch or what I looked like without the armor and clothes on?” Ishmael said. “Both! But you seeing me up from that arena was something else. The way you looked at me was to die for! What was going through your mind?” Helen asked Ishmael.

“Everything but you was taking you all night long!” “Well you did and the night after if I remember right!”

She held her husband’s hand as they watched the warrior leaped down on the Chonchon and slash his axe into the monster's forehead, killing it dead. The crowd cheered with triumph roars. Ishmael stood up with Helen to speak.

“BRAVO SEVERANCE, YOU DO FAMILY, THE TRIMALE CLAN PROUD!” The vampire warrior bows to Ishmael in honor. Then the host, this shaggy haired vampire with a sexy stubble stood out with Severance and raised his hand up for the crowd. His white shirt and green vest made him stood out. This was Corbett Nightworth, nephew to Ishmael and one of his night captains.

“NOW! IT’S TIME FOR OUR NET EVENT! THE BATTLE BETWEEN THE FEROCIOUS BEAST OF THE NIGHT VS OUR GRAND PRINCE AND NEXT HEIR TO THE NIGHTWORTH LEGION, DESMOND NIGHTWORTH!”

Then from the opposite end of the arena came this tall, hunky late 20s looking man with a buzz cut hairstyle and a devilish handsome face. The ladies in the crowds were drooling at the mouth when they saw him, some of the guys too. He was dressed in pure black armor that was shaped like a dragon while carrying a massive greatsword in one hand. He rallied the crowd as they all praised him.

“THE SHINING FUTURE OF OUR LEGION AND YOU COULDN’T FIND A BETTER VAMPIRE IF YOU TRIED!” Corbett proclaimed. “BUT DOESN’T MEAN WE SHOULD EXCLUDE OUR OTHER SMALL PRINCE! HE TOO IS A PROUD MEMBER OF THE NIGHTWORTH FAMILY!”

The crowd laughed at Corbett making jokes. Desmond grew a sour look on his face. He didn’t like his younger brother being mocked! Ishmael and Helen were not placed by Corbett.

“NOW BRING OUT THE BEAST!” Suddenly the ground opened up in front of Desmond. The older prince drew his greatsword. He was ready for battle. Then from the floor came this Isonade, this 8 foot tall shark monster that stands on two legs and up right. The beast had a massive tall and human claws the size of Desmond himself. The monster scream at Desmond then went charging at him. The vampire warrior sidestepped the monster then slashed it’s legging, causing it to tumble forward to the ground. Corbett went up to the Nightworth balcony where he was met by an angry Ishmael and Helen Nightworth.

“HOW DARE YOU INSULT DEACON LIKE THAT! IN FRONT OF THE LEGION NONETHELESS!” Ishmael yelled. “YOU’RE LUCK THAT I DON’T THREW YOU FROM THIS BALCONY!”

“Who says I was insulting him. More like...encouraging him!” Corbett replied.

“I demand you make a apology to him and the crowd.” Helen said. “I would if he was here!” Corbett said looking at the empty chair next to Helen. Boeth Ishmael and Helen looked around the balcony.

“Where did he go?” Helen asked Ishmael.

  “The armory maybe?” Corbett said.

Meanwhile, down in the armory, there wa a early 20s looking man going through the supplies. He had short front spike red hair, red like his mother Helen. He wore a black long sleeve shirt and torn jeans which stood out from the vampire elite who all wore fancy clothes. He had his father’s chiseled jawline and handsome looks too. The kid flexed his muscles through his tight long sleeve shirt as he putting on leather armor and armor shoulder pads. Finally he found a large claymore hanging on the wall. While he grabbed the sword, he found he wasn’t along there. “Stop!”

The vampire turned his head to find this 7 foot tall warrior wearing full armor head to t
oe. He had on this massive helmet that covered most of his face except for his mouth. He also carried a massive lance weapon on his back capable to ripping through legions of men. The kid stopped as he faced the inteimantating warrior. Then the warrior went over to this massive chest and took out this other claymore but this one was much more shiny. The handle was designed in the form of the obsidian dragon which was the Nightworth symbol.

“I think this one is more of your liking Deacon! I made it just for you!” The warrior said. Deacon smiled and took the sword.

“Thanks Uthyxeth!” Deacon said. Uthyxeth, leader of the Obsidian Knights and protector of the Nightworth family. “Go up there and show them your strength! Show your father and mother how strong the young prince really is!” “Right!” Deacon placed the sword on his back and went to the waiting corner of the arena to have his chance. Desmond was still busy fighting the monster. He dodged it’s massive claw strike by leaping up into the air then came leaping down with his sword coming down on the Isonade. Desmond slashed off it’s head while rolling out of the way of it’s falling body. The warrior held his greatsword in the air in victory. Corbett came over and held his arm too. Ishmael looked on the warrior with great pride and honor!

“ALL HAIL DESMOND NIGHTWORTH! FUTURE OF THE NIGHTWORTH LEGION!” Corbett yelled to the crowd. He was met with ba roaring applaud and ear bleeding cheers. Now usually this would be the end of the event. Ishmael was about to give his closing words but Corbett had other plans.

“MY DEAR NIGHT CREATURES! WE HAVE A SPECIAL SURPRISE FOR ALL OF YOU! THINK OF IT AS A SORT OF EXTRA EVENT FOR THE LEGION!” Then the gates to the warrior waiting room opened. Both Ishmael and Helen were stunned and bewildered by Corbett.

“What is he up too?” Helen asked her husband. “Not sure but I’m both annoyed and interested to see!” Ishmael said. Then from the darkness, their son Deacon Nightworth came walking out into the arena next to Corbett. The entire crowd were speechless at the sight of him. Deacon had a serious look on his face. He looked up at his parents without blinking. His parents were just as stunned as the crowd. This was the first time Deacon entered the arena and fought.
