The kiss began as the simple joining of two mouths, then quickly evolved into a need to be closer. Miles slipped his hands underneath Liv’s dress and pushed it up over her hips, before he began to touch her. Liv lifted her mouth from his and sat up with a smile.
She watched as Miles’ eyes darkened after she pulled the dress over her head and tossed it on the bed. Then Liv went for the buttons on his expensive dress shirt, making quick work of the barrier to his brown skin and muscular chest.
She gasped when she was flipped over onto her back and Miles was looking down at her with those sexy dark brown eyes. His mouth started at her neck, then moved slowly down to her breasts peeking up through the C-cups of her bra.
Liv breathed in when she felt his mouth sucking the outer area of the orbs. With a hand, Miles slid the material aside to tease the hardened nipple with his tongue before covering it completely. After a minute of tasting her, Miles moved to the other side and repeated the performance.
Lifting back to her face, he slid his tongue into her mouth and Liv sucked on it, giving him the same pleasure he was giving her.
“What do you want me to do to you, Liv?” Miles breathed against her lips.
Her answer in two words sent him over the edge and he kissed her hotly, making her body dampen in anticipation.
Standing to his feet, Miles relieved Liv of her bra and tossed it with her dress. Cupping her breasts in both large hands, he stared into her face and squeezed them.
“You’re so damn bad...I can’t resist you.” Miles confessed.
“Why do you even want to?”
Sliding his hands down her stomach, he answered, “Protection…”
“In my purse.” Liv responded and he grinned.
“Nah, that’s why I want to resist you.”
Liv lifted an arched brow.
“You don’t want to resist this, Miles.” She whispered.
Miles looked down at where his hand rested on her flat abdomen. Hooking his fingers around the band that held her thong panties, he began to slide them down her body, then added them to the pile. Staring at the naked woman on his bed, Miles shook his head in awe.
“You’re right…” he agreed softly.
Liv laid still, allowing him to get his fill. After a minute, she lifted her foot and placed it on his crotch.
“I want to look, too.” She told him. “And touch…”
Miles reached over to the nightstand and then Liv heard music through the surround sound speakers. Arching her foot against his erection, she felt how ready he was...in addition to how he was made, and prayed he knew how to operate that nice equipment.
“Your face looks like you’re thinking of some shit.” Miles told her while removing his shirt.
“I’m hoping that you know what to do with this.” She rubbed him again. “Because it feels very nicely made…”
Miles grabbed her leg and kissed her ankle, causing her to laugh and flinch.
“I’m ticklish.” Liv told him quickly.
“On your ankle?”
She tried to pull her foot away. “Yes…”
“So superwoman has a kryptonite?” he asked, releasing.
“Miles…” Liv warned, when he grabbed her other leg.
Liv tensed when he kissed her other ankle, and gave the same response.
“Both ankles?”
“Leave my damn ankles alone.” She complained trying not to laugh.
Snatching her foot away, she scrambled to her knees and Miles watched her breasts bounce.
“Where are you ticklish?” Liv asked, touching his bare chest.
“Not my ankles.”
She moved to touch the tattoos on his arms.
“These are beautiful.”
“Thank you.”
“You want to see mine?” Liv asked.
He nodded. “Yeah, where is it?”
She turned around and Miles stared at her naked ass, then read the word written across her lower back.
“Priceless.” He said out loud.
Liv looked over her shoulder. “I told you this ass was priceless…”
His strong arm locked around her waist, holding her in place and he whispered in her ear.
“Stay just like this.”
In a flash, Miles was out of the rest of his clothes and handing Liv her purse. Taking the bag, Liv dumped a bunch of condoms on the bed.
“Well, damn girl.” Miles said, grabbing one from the pile.
“I came prepared.”
“How long are you trying to be here?” he asked, opening the packet.
She looked back at him again. “Keep talking and not long.”
With his body prepared, Miles cupped her breasts from behind and kissed her shoulder. In her ear, he said, “When you do it right...you don’t have to keep starting over.”
Liv grinned. “Oh shit...okay.”
Miles moved his hand down to tease her heated bud, while holding her against his body.
“That feels sweet…” Miles said, kissing her neck and shoulder. “Is it sweet, Liv?”
With his one hand palming and squeezing her breast and the other teasing her core, Liv could only nod before Miles pushed her down on the bed. She closed her eyes when she felt his mouth on her tattoo and groaned when he grabbed her ass cheeks.
When he was done worshipping her backside, Miles turned her over and dove into her sweetness. That’s where Liv began to lose her mind. She’d had more than a few taste her sweetness, but thus far none had savored her like this...hadn’t slowly teased her thighs, then totally devoured her until she screamed.
Covering her body with his, Miles kissed her slowly, allowing her to also taste her sweetness. Dipping into her wetness, he paused for a moment and let her catch her breath.
“I want to hear you scream again.” He said against her moist lips.
Before she could respond, Miles began putting her body through some exercises that Liv hadn’t been quite expecting, and his stamina was quite amazing. She went from being on her back to her stomach, then her knees, staring down into his face.
“You’re trying to kill me…” Liv groaned as Miles lifted her ass rapidly up and down on his rigid penis.
“Yep.” Lowering his head, he took her breast into his mouth. “Now make it come.”
Spurred on by the challenge, Liv began to grind on him and their sweat slickened bodies continued the work to bring them to completion.
Miles held off his eruption until Liv finally screamed and tapped out.
“Miles!”
Continuing his road to the top, Miles kept the rhythm and when he reached it, Liv covered his mouth with hers and captured his groan, as they both held on tightly.
Liv’s first thought was to get her shit and bust the hell up, because what had just transpired in Miles’ bed had her shook. However, she was locked in a tight embrace and clearly didn’t want to go anywhere…
Miles’ first thought was that he should’ve never brought Liv home with him, because now he’d never forget what they’d done over the last hour. He wanted her to be gone, back in Dallas...far away from him. However, he was locked in a tight embrace and clearly wasn’t about to release her…
After a few minutes of listening to the music, they looked at one another.
“So…” They both said in unison with their bodies still connected.
“Yeah…” They both said again.
They both smiled and Miles kissed her lips. Liv returned the kiss, while lightly touching his dark hair.
“Are you good?” He asked softly.
Liv gave him a look and raised a brow.
“Are you fishing for compliments?”
“Nah,” Miles shook his head, and held her gaze. “I’m making sure that the woman who just shared her body with me is okay…”
She blinked and felt something inside. “Yes...I’m good. Thank you for asking.”
He kissed her lightly, then eased their bodies apart.
“I’ll be right back.

Liv watched him head into the bathroom and put a hand to her face.
“Oh, shit...what the hell have I done?” she said to herself. “He’s actually sweet…”
In the bathroom, Miles disposed of the latex, then turned and looked in the mirror.
“What the fuck did you do?” he chastised himself. “She really is priceless…”
“Hey…”
Miles turned to the soft voice.
“Can I use the toilet?” Liv asked.
“Of course.” Miles turned on the faucet, while Liv hopped on the seat and emptied her bladder.
Grabbing some washcloths, Miles dampened one and handed it to Liv when she met him at the double sinks.
“Thanks,” Liv said, then wiped down her body, while Miles prepared another cloth to do the same.
“Your bathroom is beautiful. It’s like a magazine.”
“Not bad for Detroit?”
She smiled. “No, not bad.”
He took the cloth when she was done and tossed them both into a bin. Turning to Liv, Miles lifted her up on the bathroom counter, and stared into her face.
“Do you want to go?” he questioned.
Liv looped her arms around his neck.
“Do you want me to stay?” she asked.
“You did bring like five boxes of condoms…” Miles shrugged a bare shoulder.
She wrapped her legs around his waist and smiled at him.
“For you...I’d buy every box in the damn store.” Liv said sexily.
“For you...I’d use them.”
Miles picked her up and carried her back to the bed.
Chapter 7
Miles laid in his bed with his head in his hand resting on his elbow staring down into a pair of pretty dark eyes, while music played softly in the room.
“You don’t have to worry that I’m going to start stalking your spot.” Liv said, with her head lying on his pillow.
“You promise?” he asked softly.
She smiled. “I’ll be in Dallas, so that makes it a little more difficult.”
“You’ve got dudes stalking you down there.” He commented.
Liz groaned. “Don’t remind me.”
Reaching over Miles touched her face.
“Don’t forget...I’m just a phone call away.”
“I’m not going to call you.”
Lifting a brow, he asked, “You’re not going to call me when you get back to Dallas?”
“Are you going to call me?”
“You love to call the shots.” Miles commented.
“Will you let me?” Liv asked playfully.
He replied, “Maybe a little…but I’m not chasing you across the country.”
“I didn’t expect you to…” she said softly.
“Do your dudes always do what you expect?”
Liz stared at him. “Clearly, they aren’t mine, but dudes always do almost exactly as I expect, because I don’t have a low threshold. They don’t rise to the level I need them to be…”
“What about you?” Miles asked.
“What about me?”
“Do you adjust to their level?”
She paused. “I guess it would depend on where their level is at…”
“Maybe it’s not about a single level.”
“What do you mean?” Liv questioned.
Miles moved a hand down her body to rest at her waist over the soft sheet.
“I’m just saying, maybe it’s just about finding your vibe?”
“My vibe?”
He stared at her and replied, “The one who connects with you on every level.”
Liz was quiet for a moment, then said, “You’re very complex Miles.”
“Nah, I’m just a nigga from the hood.”
“You know that you’re much more than that.”
When he smiled at her, Liz felt her heart jump.
“You think so?” Miles asked.
“I wouldn’t be here with you if I didn’t.”
He pulled her closer.
“So, I didn’t disappoint you?” He lowered his mouth to hers.
“Not yet…” she breathed against his lips.
“And you won’t say no?”
“I have no reason to…”
Miles kissed her mouth until she opened it and invited his tongue. When the kiss deepened, Liv caressed the back of his head. She pulled back when Miles’ alarm sounded on his phone. Reaching over he stopped the offending sound.
“Is that my cue to leave?” Liv asked, when he turned back to her.
“Uh, can you chill here until I get back?”
Liv frowned. “You’re leaving?”
“Yeah, I’ve got to make a stop. You can rest up for an hour or so...”
“Rest up?” Liv kept frowning.
He nodded. “We didn’t go to sleep.”
“Where are you going?” She finally asked.
“I, uh...have a responsibility.”
She was back to frowning.
“You have a kid?”
“Hell, nah...I don’t have any damn kids. If I did, they’d be right here.” Miles replied offended.
“So responsibility is code for another woman?” Liv questioned.
“No.”
Giving him a look, she said, “Really, Miles? You’re not going to see another woman?”
“Not like you think.”
Liv went to climb from the bed and Miles stopped her.
“Why do you get so damn mad?” he asked confused.
“Why do you act so damn dumb?”
“What?”
“You’re about to literally climb out of bed with me to go see another woman. Damn...just tell me to leave.”
“I wanted to have breakfast with you.”
“After you climb out of bed with someone else?” Liv asked incredulously. “No thanks...give it a rest.”
“Relax, Liv…”
Her eyes narrowed. “Let me get dressed and take me home.”
Miles fought with his dual emotions...again.
“I’m going to see my mother.” He told her.
“Negro please…” she replied unfazed. “Let me go.”
“I am.” Miles said quietly. “I have to take her breakfast.”
Liv took a breath to calm herself.
“Listen, you don’t have to lie to me and I prefer that you don’t.” She began. “Please take me home, and then you’re free to do your thing.”
“I’m not lying to you.” He said sincerely. “Come with me then…”
“To take your Mama breakfast?” Liv said sarcastically.
“Yeah, that’s what I said.” Miles said firmly. “And I want an apology afterwards…”
She froze. “You’re really going to take your mother breakfast.”
“Get dressed.” Miles released her and stood to his feet, looking down at her.
“No.”
“What do you mean, no?” He asked.
Liv buried her face in her hands.
“Why do you put me in these situations?”
“Me?” Miles questioned. “That’s that mouth of yours.”
“I’ll get a ride home…” Liv said quietly.
Miles sat on the bed and reached to remove her hands.
“You just called me a liar to my face, now suck it up and bring your ass on…” he told her.
“I’m sorry, okay. I believe you.”
He shook his head. “Nah, I could still be lying. You’re going to come see for yourself.”
“Are you lying?” Liv asked. “Playing mind games with me?”
“Get dressed Liv. I’m done talking and my Mama will be waiting.”
Miles turned and walked into the bedroom, then Liv heard the shower.
“His Mama?” she whispered. “He takes his Mama breakfast?”
Liv ran her hands through her hair and sighed.
“If this man really takes me to his Mama, I’m going to have to chase his ass…”
Scrambling from t
he bed, Liv rushed into the bathroom and stopped at the sight of the naked man behind the glass with his eyes closed and the water rushing down over his head and body.
Without a thought, she opened the door and stepped inside behind him. Feeling her softness against his back, Miles turned and looked at her.
“I need a shower, too.” Liv told him. “I can’t go to your Mama’s house smelling like I’ve been laying up with her son all night.”
In a swift move, Miles lifted her against the shower wall and looked into her face, staring at her lips.
“Isn’t your mother waiting?” Liv asked seeing the look in his brown eyes, then wrapping her legs around his damp waist.
“She’s always late…” He captured her mouth.
******
Liv sat in the passenger seat of Miles’ SUV as they pulled into Katydids. Cutting the engine, he turned to her.
“I’ll be right back. You can wait right here.”
“Okay,”
He paused. “No questions, no attitude?”
“No.”
“Are you going to jump out of the car when I get inside?”
She smiled. “You’re not getting rid of me that easily. I’m seeing this through to the end.”
“You can start practicing my apology.”
“Go get the food,” Liv told him. “That’s what you told me we were coming here for…”
Miles laughed. “Yeah, that’s what I told you.”
Miles got out and walked inside giving Liv a moment to take out her phone. Seeing the list of missed calls and messages, she grimaced. Quickly, she dialed her sister’s number.
“Liv, what is going on with you?” Taylor demanded. “I’ve called and texted you like ten times!
“I know. I’m sorry.” Liv apologized.
“Where are you?”
“I’m at Katydids.”
“What are you still doing there?” Taylor asked. “I thought you were leaving last night with Miles?”
“I did.” Liv told her. “Relax, I’m fine…”
“Relax?” Taylor repeated. “You call me asking me to pick you up and that you’d see me at home, then I didn’t hear from you all night?”
“Taylor…”
“Listen, I know I’m not your parent, and I know how you hate feeling that you have to answer to somebody, but…”
“Taylor...I’m sorry.” Liv told her softly. “I didn’t plan for what happened last night...or this morning.”
“Are you okay?”
