“Garret!” he said warmly as we shook hands. “How the Hell are you, bud?”
“Sawyer,” I nodded. He gestured in front of him and I took a seat. “Doing well. Yourself?”
“Things couldn’t be going any better, buddy,” he grinned, and by the looks of his outfit, I believed him. “Unless of course I was the primary investor in a highly successful taco truck that was going to expand into a highly successful taco truck franchise that was going to take over San Diego!”
“I like the sound of that,” I said with a smile.
“You do, eh?” he nodded, obviously pleased. “Because if what you made me the other day was any indication of your skill, we’re going to make a killing.”
“I would like to cook for you again, Sawyer. So you can see what I’m capable of.”
“Absolutely,” he nodded. “Your place?”
“My place…” I muttered. I wasn’t really ashamed by my place, but compared to what Sawyer was working with, I was a bit nervous. He must have seen it in my eyes, as he instantly jumped back in and interrupted.
“Tell you what,” he said. “Why don’t you come to my place and cook dinner for my family and me? We’ll do the cleaning up and you can meet my crew. Then we’ll know that this is a good fit. I’m pretty sure it already is, but we might as well be sure, right?”
“Garrett!” Pierre called from the back, letting me know I was on his clock and not mine.
“Sounds great, Sawyer,” I told him as I got to my feet and shook his hand again. “I’m off tomorrow. How’s six sound?”
“Sounds perfect,” he said with a nod. “See you then.”
I nodded in return and headed back to the kitchen as he went outside. I was always a hard worker, of course, but I went back to my duties with a renewed vigor as I started peeling potatoes and prepping meat for service. With my mind on my taco truck, I wasn’t worried about checking the clock or amusing myself somehow to pass the time. All I could see was the future, and a bright future it was turning out to be.
Chapter Sixteen
Billy
Tommy and I were ready on our hands and knees when our mate came in the door looking worn out from a hard night at the restaurant. We knew he’d be too tired to give us his all, so we were ready to service him.
“Hey, baby,” I said, crawling forward as he closed the door.
“Welcome home,” Tommy added seductively as he took hold of Garrett’s ankle and ran his hand up his leg slowly.
“Hey, you…” Garret whispered as he set his bag down and locked the door behind him. “What’s all this?”
“We just thought,” I told him as I mirrored Tommy’s moves. “That you could use a little relaxation after a long night at work.”
Being below Garrett made me feel so submissive in the most wonderful way. It was like I’d found my place in the world and was able to take back that part of my life that I’d had to put out in the world when I was a working boy, transform that energy and aim it directly at Garrett where it belonged.
Tommy was on the same page as me. Pleasing our alpha was something we both loved so much it had practically become a hobby. If you asked me if I wanted to go rock climbing, watch Netflix, go out to eat or suck Garrett’s dick—well, that was no decision at all.
It was easy to feel his cock through the thin fabric of his chef’s pants and as I wrapped my fingers around his bulge, I felt the blood pumping like a strong heartbeat that was going to have him at full mast in no time.
“Well, this is nice to come home to,” he said as Tommy tugged his pants down to his knees, taking his boxers with them. His enormous cock flopped out and slapped me in the face with all its weight, causing me to burst out laughing.
“What the fuck?” I exclaimed. “How is it so big?”
“What can I say?” Garrett shrugged, palms up. “I’m blessed.”
“Yes, you are,” Tommy replied as he took me by the back of the head and forced my mouth down over Garrett’s cock.
Well—forced wasn’t exactly the right word for it—more like he guided my mouth down. I never had to be forced to do anything for Garrett. I liked it. Pleasing him pleased me. My holes were his whenever he needed them.
My gorgeous alpha groaned as my lips surrounded the tip of his dick. As he wasn’t completely hard yet, I tried to take as much of him down my throat as I could, aiming to get all of it, which was something I’d never done before.
“Wow, good job, baby,” Tommy said, stroking my head gently. I took a deep breath and tried to relax, but there were still a couple of inches left outside of my lips. I pushed down and thought for a second that I was going to finally do it, but again I felt myself gag and cough and had to pull back, my eyes watering as I looked up at Garrett.
“Close,” he smiled. But he didn’t give me a chance to recover. He’d liked what I’d given him and he wanted more. This time, he put his hand behind my head and pushed me back down over his cock. I swallowed and tasted his precum. It was sweet and salty at the same time and was like a spark of aphrodisiac to my core, inflaming me more, making me want him behind me with his hands on my waist, driving his alpha dick in and out of me. But this wasn’t the time for that. He was tired and we were servicing him.
“Give me some of that,” Tommy said, pulling me off our alpha’s erection. He jokingly threw me aside as though we were fighting over it, and grabbed it by the base and shoved it into his mouth with a groan.
Garrett threw his head back and braced himself against the wall. I looked up as his eyes rolled back in his head. I crawled closer and maneuvered my way between Tommy and Garrett and managed to get my tongue to his balls. I licked eagerly, causing him to spread his legs wider to give me a better angle.
He’d been working hard, sweating, and I could taste it on him. Honestly, I loved it. It enhanced his scent and made me feel like I was eating him or something—swimming in his being, succumbing to him completely. I felt high as I lapped away while Tommy sucked him.
“God, you sure know how to welcome a guy home,” Garrett moaned. As I watched out of the corner of my eye, I could see he was fully hard now and Tommy was using his right hand to stroke him while he sucked him. This was the full treatment and Garrett deserved it.
“Good news at work?” I asked slyly. He smiled and nodded.
“Great news.”
“I knew it,” I told him as I reached a hand around behind him and grabbed his strong ass. “That’s my alpha.”
“Mine too,” Tommy added as he briefly took his mouth off Garrett’s cock.
“Shut up and keep sucking me,” Garrett said, pushing Tommy’s mouth back where it belonged. He was half-joking but half-serious, and both of us smiled as we went back to what we were doing. “I’m close.”
“Are you gonna share with me, Tommy?” I asked, petting him on the shoulder. Tommy moaned in affirmation. “Good.”
“You want it?” Garrett asked. “You want my cum?”
“Give it to us, baby,” I told him—I begged him. I was getting hard myself and knew that I’d have to jerk off later, or maybe have a little quick session with Tommy to get our own relief. But again, this wasn’t about us. It was about Garrett.
“Give it to us,” I told him. “Come on, baby.”
Garrett’s body tensed up and I saw that the climax was coming. I took both of his balls into my mouth, forcing me to be quiet, and sucked hard, urging him closer and closer towards the edge.
“I’m coming!” he announced before bucking his hips forward as his orgasm took hold of him.
I watched as Tommy slowed his movements and began to accept what he was given, taking Garrett’s alpha seed into his mouth, relishing in its taste. I wanted it too, and got up beside him and traced my fingers over his shoulders and arms as Garrett unloaded, growling with pleasure.
“Give it to me, Tommy!” I moaned like a spoiled child. “I want it too!”
Tommy kept his mouth over Garrett’s cock until he was finished coming. Only then did he
turn to me. I turned my eyes to my alpha’s as Tommy began to make out with me, transferring the succulent load from his mouth to mine. We made out with it spilling across our tongues and lips like a couple of adult actors performing for the camera.
“You two are too much for me,” Garrett groaned with a smile as he leaned back against the wall. “You’re going to kill me!”
I chuckled and swallowed, then used my finger to wipe my lips clean. “Yea, maybe,” I smiled. “But that would be a nice way to go, right?”
Chapter Seventeen
Garrett
Take it easy.
I had to admit I was nervous as I drove over to Sawyer’s place. He lived in La Jolla, one of the nicest neighborhoods in San Diego and right on the beach. I wasn’t sure whether or not his house would have an ocean view, but when I pulled up and saw that it did, I wasn’t surprised.
It was ultra-modern, built from panels of gray concrete with dark wood planks just beneath the flat roof that threw itself out forward over the ocean with a strong cantilever. As I pulled my car up, a planked gate opened automatically to let me into the driveway. Obviously, they were expecting me.
You’ll be fine, I told myself as I got out of the car with my knives and made my way up to the door. It was made from some kind of beautiful hardwood that was obviously expensive and probably cost more than my entire apartment. I reached out to knock, but it opened to reveal Sawyer’s smiling face.
“Put ‘er there, partner,” he said, extending a hand. I took and shook it, already feeling more at ease. As far as Sawyer was concerned, this whole meeting was simply a formality, but it was important to me that I show him what I was fully capable of.
“How are ya, Sawyer?” I asked as he led me inside.
“Ready to eat,” he laughed as I looked around the downstairs of his incredible house.
“Well, I’m ready to cook,” I replied. An omega was sitting on a couch as Sawyer led me to the kitchen. He waved.
“That’s Elijah,” Sawyer said. “One of my omegas.”
“Nice to meet you,” I nodded as we passed.
“You too!”
Sawyer’s kitchen was no less spectacular than the rest of his house, and had already been spotlessly cleaned for me. I felt as though I was back at the restaurant, or a three-star downtown as I laid out my knives in front of the ingredients he’d picked up for me.
I was going to do a burrito bowl/taco salad sort of thing with ground beef and pork, sweet and sour peppers, onions and garlic, rice, homemade guacamole and toasted soft taco shells on the side. As I pulled out my steel and began to sharpen my knives, Sawyer picked my brain.
“So what do you see the main moneymaker being?”
“I think the burrito bowls and soft tacos,” I replied. “The bowls are great for people who don’t want to hold a taco, ya know? Just grab it and go, that sort of thing. But tacos are tacos!”
“Who doesn’t love tacos?”
“Exactly,” I laughed as I set my knives down and began washing the rice. “They’re easy, can be prepped beforehand and we can get them out quickly.”
“Quick is good,” Sawyer replied. “Quick means money.”
“Maybe enough money for me to afford a place like this one day,” I chuckled.
“Once we franchise, maybe,” he smiled. “Because if this first truck’s successful—that’s what I’d like to do. Get a million of these babies all over the city. Maybe even a storefront!”
“You think big,” I told him as I started the rice in the cooker and began slicing an onion.
“How do you think I got where I am?” he asked.
“Good point,” I replied. “Hey, Sawyer. Do you mind if I ask you a personal question?”
“Go right ahead,” he told me.
“Have you—have you ever heard of an alpha not knowing they were an alpha?”
Sawyer frowned. “Hmmm, can’t say that I have. Why do you ask?”
“Well…” I said slowly as I diced half of the onion and set it aside. “That sort of happened with me.”
“Sort of?” he asked.
“I had a rough childhood,” I told him. “My fathers were…abusive, to say the least. When I got older, I thought I was an omega.”
“Wow…”
“The rest of the world did too!” I told him as I went to work on the other half of the onion. I was getting emotional and felt the tears beginning to form in my eyes.
Thank God I’m cutting this! I thought.
“But when I met Tommy and Billy…” I said, pushing my emotions back down where they belonged at a time like this. “I smelled them and something changed inside me. I knew they were my fated mates and I knew I was their alpha. It was life-changing.”
Sawyer leaned back against the opposite counter and crossed his arms. I knew we had just met, but I felt like he was someone I could trust and that was a good sign, especially if we were going to be business partners.
“I’ve never heard of an alpha not knowing he was an alpha,” he told me. “But I’d also never heard of a single alpha having two fated mates. So I guess anything is possible!”
I set the onion aside and started chopping the garlic as finely as possible, feeling a bit better about everything. It helped when I kept my mind on my work, the only thing that had ever really inspired me as a person in my own life. My omegas inspired me, of course, but in a different way. They brought love to my life and my work would bring them safety and security. It was important that I kept that in my mind.
“Well, all I know is that things have changed drastically for me,” I told Sawyer. “And I can’t help but feel like it was the first step in a long journey that’s going to take me somewhere new—somewhere better.”
“I think this food truck can work, man,” Sawyer told me. “I’ve got the money to invest, connections around town to get the word out, and you’ve got the skill. I don’t see how we could fail.”
“I hope you’re right,” I told him. I didn’t want to say it, but I really had my hopes up and could definitely see his vision coming to fruition. I could see our first truck, with Tommy and Billy helping me out before the kids came. I could see the line of hungry, smiling faces lining up for a bite of my food. I could see the other trucks opening up across the city. I could even see a storefront eventually in the future. I could see it all. But I didn’t want to get ahead of myself and be disappointed. We didn’t even have the first truck up yet.
Take it easy, I told myself again as I mixed the meat and started to cook. Sawyer kept quiet mostly, making idle chatter about random things as I put the meal together. He knew better than to distract the chef!
It wasn’t long before everything was coming together and I was serving it up into the four bowls laid out in front of me.
“Okay, boys!” Sawyer shouted to his two mates. “Dinnertime!”
Chapter Eighteen
Tommy
“I wonder how he’s doing,” Billy remarked as I worked the mop across the floor, scrubbing at the gunk that had built up by the door. Billy was working on the kitchen, which always needed a bit of cleaning given how often we (meaning Sawyer) used it.
“He’s killing it,” I told him. “Of course.”
“I mean—of course he is,” Billy agreed. “I just wonder how he’s doing. Like, do you think he’s nervous?”
“I’m sure he’s a little nervous. But come on, this is Garrett we’re talking about! The guy faced off with Pablo and his boy in the alley and saved our asses. How nerve-wracking can cooking dinner for Sawyer be?”
Billy chuckled as he scrubbed the counters. Done with the floor, I set the fan up to dry them off and took the mop and bucket outside and dumped the water out. When I came back inside, I took a seat and watched Billy.
“It’s hard to believe, isn’t it?” I asked him.
“What’s that?”
“That it’s been more than a week since we’ve had to work the street,” I replied.
Billy set his sponge aside a
nd sighed deeply, a smile crossing his face. “Feels good, doesn’t it?”
“Feels awesome.”
“I’ll never miss it,” he added. “But I feel kind of bad living here without paying rent.”
“Don’t let Garrett hear you say that,” I warned him. “He likes providing for us.”
“I know, I just wish we could do more,” Billy said, setting the sponge down and coming over to the couch with me.
“Well, he said he’d like us to help him with the truck if it happens.”
“When it happens,” he corrected me.
“When it happens,” I agreed. “And then we get to work with him until the babies come.”
“Have you thought about what you want?” he asked. “Boys or girls?”
“I want boys,” I told him.
“Me too.”
“I want to be able to give them the kind of life I never had,” I explained.
“Exactly!”
“Raise them in a house with a real, functional family,” I said, thinking out loud.
“Let them take over the family business,” Billy suggested. “Raise them to be the most prominent chefs in the world!”
“Little Gordon Ramsays and Bobby Flays?” I laughed.
“Is Bobby Flay as good as Gordon Ramsay?” Billy asked.
“I have no idea! You’d have to ask Garrett about that.”
“But only if it’s what they want,” Billy said firmly. “We don’t want to be those parents—the ones that put tons of pressure on their kids and end up driving them into lives they don’t want.”
“Of course not,” I agreed. “We’d never be those.”
It was almost giving me anxiety to think about what our family would end up becoming in the future. I had no experience with good fathers and had no idea what even being one meant. It seemed to me like there were an almost infinite number of ways to screw up a child, and if I did that…
“What are you frowning about?” Billy asked, shaking my knee. I must have been making a face and quickly shook myself out of my thoughts.
