She moaned.

“It will be okay. I’ll take good care of you like always. Get you prepped and ready. Remember to behave and do as ordered. You’re going to love the new place. He told me to mention the chamber. It’s new, as well. His desires have darkened a little, but you’ll learn fast.”

Tears rolled down her cheeks. Her eyes blinked, and her heart ached, but she was paralyzed and couldn’t move. Fender had found her. He was taking her to Charles, and no one even knew where Charles was. I’m going to die. I’ll never see my men again, or Rusty. Oh God, this will kill them inside. Please. Please help me. Help me.

  Chapter 10

Ace raged and flipped over the desk in Uman Sarak’s home office. There was nothing. No information or anything leading them to finding Amber or where Charles took her.

“I can’t believe this shit. A week. A fucking week and nothing,” Briar yelled, and they continued to look through documents as Corona, Danny, Cliff, and Rusty with his team were beating the crap out of Uman’s men and trying to get answers. The feds didn’t even care because terrorist attacks were stopped, military weapons were recovered, and the people of the United States were none the wiser about the whole thing, or how close they came to being terrorized by an attack.

“What’s that?” Cliff said, pointing toward the desk Ace flipped over. There was a locked box under the desk. Cliff kicked at it. Once, twice, three times, and on the fourth, it cracked open. A cell phone came out and a small notepad.

Ace came over and the others, too. “What the fuck?”

“A burner phone, Ace. Look at this. Numbers, names. Where the fuck is Cliff? He can read this shit,” Briar said, and Cliff took it from him.

“It’s Arabic, and some old-school Maghrebi Arabic,” Cliff said and then smiled. “Doesn’t matter what language Charles Muller is in. Bingo!” He pointed to the page.

Ace looked at the phone. “His number is in there. Let’s get our intel on this pronto,” he said and then grabbed onto Cliff, stopping him with the phone and the pad. “Our men we trust,” he whispered.

Cliff nodded and then hurried from the room.

  * * * *

Take me. Please let me die now. I’m ready to die. I can’t let him rape me. I can’t allow him possession of me again and again like before. I’m a different person. I want to die instead of succumbing to his touch, to his possession of my body, my being, my soul.

Amber looked around her. The chamber was different here. Wherever here was. If the servants were any indication of the location, then perhaps they were in India. Their skin very tan and brown, their accents, their words Arabic but with Indian accents. The women were nice, they were kind, and they tried making her cooperate, but she didn’t. She wouldn’t. Her body was battered a bit, but she didn’t care. She was ready to die. She looked up, with the little bit of strength she had left. Her wrists locked together by metal cuffs, their match were against her ankles, digging into her skin and bones.

She was planning her demise, then deciding to take some along with her. Her belly felt hollow, empty. They gave her very little and drugged her once again. She didn’t know what happened while she was out. While she was hallucinating. She smelled things, felt, and heard things. Whispers into her ear. Fingertips across her breasts, her mound. She wore tiny panties and an even tinier bra that barely covered her. Her back and rear stung. She couldn’t reach back to feel what was there, but it felt like cuts. She remembered little things. A snap of a whip, a caress of leather, sporadic bites to her skin in different places. Was it real?

Tears trickled down her cheeks, her mind fuzzy and unable to differentiate reality from fiction. She looked up to where the bindings attached to a chain and a hook in the ceiling. That was when she saw the windows. She heard the sound of them opening up and knew she was on display. The metal door creaked open. If she had the strength, could she jump up, wrap the chain around her neck with the small bit of slack, and hang herself and die? She could end it all. How would Charles like that?

Her heart ached like it had been for however long she had been here. It ached for her men, who she would never see again. She thought about Rusty, and how he failed to save her again. It was over.

She snap of the whip drew her attention toward the open door and Charles was standing there in black dress pants, no shirt, and a whip in his hand. Her desire to die, to take her life, suddenly changed to taking his. To wanting him dead, or to die trying.

He stuck the whip out and traced her jaw. She turned away, and the snap to her ribs came quickly. She gasped.

“No drugs tonight. No, tonight you’ll be conscious as I take you, control you, possess you in front of my people.”

She glanced up toward the windows, unable to see the men watching, but she knew they were there. She remembered from Connecticut and the chamber there. Her mind, though fuzzy and her body exhausted, she glanced toward the chain, wondering if she had enough slack in it.

  Snap.

“Ouch!” she cried out as the whip hit her breast.

“I’m willing to take the time to train you, pet. We have forever. Now get into your role, and you will be rewarded accordingly.

“Screw you,” she whispered, and he narrowed his eyes at her.

  Snap.

She jerked but didn’t scream. She adjusted her hands, and suddenly she heard gunfire. Heard men yelling. He turned, and she made her move. Amber jumped up, slammed the excess chain around his neck, and pulled back. She wrapped her legs around his midsection and one of his arms, locking him into place, and she squeezed and pulled back, choking him with the chain.

Bodies fell from the top of the dome, more shots were fired, and then the door opened just as the gurgling sound filtered through the air and her energy left her body.

“Amber!” Ace yelled, as he, Danny, Corona, Briar, and Cliff along with Rusty and his team entered the room. Charles slithered to the ground.

  “He’s dead,” Flute said.

Amber closed her eyes. She felt Ace’s arms around her as the others got her free. She opened her eyes to look down at the body.

Corona cupped her cheek. “Don’t, baby.”

“I need to.” She looked down and saw that he was dead.

“It’s over now. It’s over,” she said to them. Her men held her close, and her brother caressed her cheek as they carried her from hell.

“Thank God you’re alive. What did he do to you, Amber?” Rusty asked her as he hugged her while Ace held her tight.

“You all came for me. I’m free. Nothing else matters.” She slid her arms around Ace’s neck and inhaled. The tears fell and numbness still covered her heart and soul, but her men would take it all away, and Charles would never be able to lay a hand on her again.

  Epilogue

“So how do you guys feel about Rusty and the team living in Mercy?” Saber asked Ace and his brothers.

They looked toward them as Rusty, Forge, and Canter were talking to a few women at the bar, while Cander, Flute, and Serno were talking to Amber and Kiana.

“They’re all the family she has, and they know where we stand with her. She’s our woman, and we help her make decisions,” Cliff said and stood up. He ordered another round of beers, and that was when Amber excused herself from the conversation with the guys and Kiana, and she headed toward the side of the bar and onto the dock. Ace didn’t like her out of his sight, nor did his brothers.

“Excuse us,” Cliff said, and he and Ace walked toward her direction, and at the same time Corona, Danny, and Briar did, as well.

Amber closed her eyes and took a few unsteady breaths. She was still healing, still sporting some bruises and using ointment on her backside and back for the whip marks. Her men were taking good care of her, but it was tough on them to see her suffering. She actually wasn’t too bad. Like she explained to Kiana, knowing Charles was dead helped so much. It was like there wasn’t a mountain to climb over, but rather a clear path to happiness that she could achieve only if she wa
nted to and fought for it.

When strong arms slid around her midsection, she gasped. Her heart felt like it leaped from her chest, but then she realized that it was Cliff. She exhaled.

“I thought we talked about you wandering off on your own,” he said and kissed her neck. She tilted to the right, giving him better access to her neck.

“Maybe I wanted some alone time with my men,” she whispered.

“Then just ask, don’t wander alone,” Ace reprimanded and leaned against the railing on the dock.

She looked at him. At his dirty blond hair, the scuff along his cheeks and all those muscles. Her men were drop-dead gorgeous, older, seasoned, and capable and they raised hell, battled, and killed to find her and to save her. She loved them for it.

“Hmmm, am I in trouble, Ace?” she whispered, and he squinted, stood a little straighter, and she licked her lower lip. They feared spanking her during sex. They were hesitant like she might freak out, but in actuality, their dominant ways, their possessiveness and the way they spanked her ass while they were deep inside of her, drove her insane.

“Are you feeling okay?” Corona asked. She looked at him.

“I feel perfectly fine,” she said and turned in Cliff’s arms to face her men. She pressed back against him, and he maneuvered his arm around her waist. She held Briar’s gaze and then looked Danny over.

“What are you thinking about?” Danny asked, closing the space between them. The others were close, too. It seemed to be the way they always wound up. A cluster or like a huddle on a football team. She loved it.

“I was thinking about the clear path in front of me, in front of us now. The fear isn’t a factor anymore. He’s gone.”

They looked so serious. They didn’t like her bringing up Charles.

Cliff cupped her breast, slid a thumb along her nipple, shocking her, but no one could see but his brothers.

“A clear path, so what’s your plan, Amber?” Cliff asked.

“To keep fighting for what I want. To know that I can achieve anything, with each of you by my side.”

  Danny smiled.

“I like the sound of that. We’ll never leave you, honey. Happiness is being here with you,” he added.

“I can think of one other thing that would make me super happy, if you all are up for it?” she asked and stepped from Cliff’s arms. She passed them and then faced them. The sight nearly made her falter they were so damn sexy and all hers.

“What would that be?” Ace asked.

“Take me home and make love to me all night, and then, when you’re all taking turns, your cocks deep inside of me, spank me and make me come some more,” she said so brazenly and in such a sexy tone she shocked herself.

“Someone is going to have a nice pink ass,” Ace said and his composed demeanor disappeared as he headed toward her, lifted her up off his shoulder, spanked her ass, and carried her through the bar, with everyone cheering them on and then to his truck.

Oh yeah, the path to happiness might not be a long open road, but a short truck ride to her men’s bedroom, getting lost with them inside of her, loving her, and bringing her happiness like she never thought she could find. Oh yeah, there was a lot to be said for a spanking from five sexy soldiers. She giggled as Ace lowered her into the back seat of the truck and tickled her.

“Just you wait, Amber. You’ll be begging for mercy before we even get into the bedroom.”

She ran her fingers through his hair as he rocked his hips against her mound and latched onto her breast.

“That’s what I’m hoping for, Ace. Bring it on.”
