The head looked out and saw Justice and Xavier.

“I got a body,” Xavier told the person. “And I’m here to get my money…”

Justice tried to fight. “Let me go got dammit! What the hell is this?”

“Shut the fuck up!” Xavier yelled at him. “Before I pop yo’ ass right here!”

“No! Don’t shoot him out here,” the guy told Xavier. “Bring him inside.”

Xavier looked at Justice. “Get yo’ ass in there!”

“Listen, I have money,” Justice pleaded. “You don’t have to do this!”

Justice frowned as Xavier hemmed him up by his shirt. “Didn’t I tell you to shut the fuck up?”

Xavier pushed Justice inside and they followed the man in the scrubs, down an empty hall and into a room set up for a procedure. Justice looked at Xavier as another man in scrubs entered the room. Xavier noticed that they both had weapons on their waists.

“Is this the next one?” One tech asked and the other answered.

  “Yeah,”

They turned to Xavier. “Get him up on the table,”

Justice stiffened and Xavier looked at the men.

  “Where my money?”

“Let us check him out first,”

Xavier turned to Justice. “Get on the table.”

Justice shook his head. “Hell no!”

Xavier lifted his gun to Justice’s face. “Get yo’ ass on the damn table.”

Angrily, Justice moved over to the table and laid back, while Xavier watched closely pointing his gun at him. One attendant unbuttoned his shirt and examined him, while the other held him down.

“How long this gone take?” Xavier asked. “I’m not trying to be here all night.”

“We’ll check some vitals and then empty him out,” the guy told him. “Then he’s yours to dispose of…”

Justice remained calm, trusting that Xavier knew what the hell he was doing.

While they were checking the vitals, Xavier told them, “If I knew y’all did more than one body, I’d have brought some more.”

They looked at Xavier and chuckled. “Damn, how much you trying to make?”

Xavier grinned. “Hey, I’m out here…”

“Snowman doesn’t like dumping too many bodies in one area, so we have five this run.” One told him.

“Five? Damn…” Xavier commented and Justice turned to him.

“Yeah, we’ve done one already,” the other told him, listening to Justice’s heartbeat.

They smiled. “He’s one of the best we’ve seen. He must have lived a good life.”

Xavier nodded. “Yeah, he was just a rich playboy.”

The two techs finished up and turned to Xavier. One moved over to open a drawer and pulled out one of the cases inside. He flipped it open, and revealed stacks of cash.

  “It’s all there…”

Xavier peeked inside and gave his okay, before the tech closed it and handed it to him. The guy turned back to Justice.

“Thirty minutes and you’ll be on your way.” He told Xavier.

  “Black magic.” Xavier said quietly.

Both men looked at Xavier in confusion. “What?”

The next minute, Justice rose up and grabbed one of the attendants before he could get to his gun, while Xavier handled the other. Jumping from the table, Justice landed a number of quick blows and fought off a few, before landing a crushing blow, then grabbing the man’s neck, and squeezing until he passed out on the floor.

When he looked back, Xavier’s guy was already out on the floor.

Xavier lifted a brow at him. “Good job,”

Justice looked at the guy on the floor and smiled. “My momma taught me that.”

Xavier shook his head, then tossed Justice the gun from his ankle. Justice caught it, then watched as Xavier walked over to one of the men, and pulled a vial from his pocket.

“Lilac said just pour it into their mouths?” Justice asked fixing his clothing.

“Yes, as soon as it saturates the tongue, it will slow the heart to almost death.” Xavier answered.

Xavier opened the first man’s mouth and poured some of the liquid inside.

  “How much?” Justice asked.

“She says this vial is enough for four,” Xavier said moving over to the other man.

He repeated the procedure and waited. A minute later, he told Justice, “Check the pulse on that one…”

Both men checked their subject and confirmed the slowing of the heartbeat. Xavier, took the key to the drawer, and retrieved the other cases of money.

“Now, we wait for the rest…” Xavier told him.

Justice sighed. “I hate that we were too late for one.”

“Let’s save the rest,” Xavier said, checking the one man’s body.

He found a piece of paper in his back pocket.

“This looks like the schedule for tonight.” Xavier said, getting to his feet. “It looks like somebody is bringing in another one and then two at one time, thirty minutes apart.” He looked around. “I think these are the only two techs here, they wouldn’t want to have too many people involved.”

Justice looked at the bodies on the floor. “Then we need to get ready.”

Thirty minutes later, there was a bang on the back door.

  “What?” a gruff voice yelled.

“The Snowman sent me. I got some parts…”

Xavier peeked out the door and saw one of the promoters of the tour, along with a young man, who looked scared for his life.

“The X-Ception?” he frowned, before a gun was put to the back of his head.

“If you move, I’ll blow your fucking brains out,” Justice told him, as Xavier took the weapon on his waist. “Now get inside…”

Xavier opened the door and Justice forced both men inside. While Xavier covered him, he patted them both down.

The younger man looked at the promoter. “I thought I was auditioning.”

“Not tonight,” Xavier told him. “Let’s go.”

Justice and Xavier led them to the procedure room where they’d removed the two bodies and placed them in the freezer.

“On the table,” Xavier ordered the promoter, and Justice took the boy away.

“X-Ception, what the hell are you doing? Didn’t you get your money?”

Xavier shook his head. “I’m not in this for the money…now tell me who the Snowman is, Glen.”

“I don’t know him.” Glen answered. “I just know that he’s higher up, but he may not even be the highest.”

“How long have you been doing this?” Xavier demanded.

  “A little over a year…”

“What do you know about a James Clark?” Xavier questioned. “He hooked up with someone on this tour last year.”

Glen looked away. “I remember James…he wanted to rap.”

  “Who brought him here?”

  “It wasn’t me.”

Xavier lifted his weapon. “Who then?”

  Glen swallowed. “Jason…”

  “Jason Stewart?”

Nodding, Glen tried to breathe. “Jason got me involved in this. He told me about how much money I could make and convinced me to join in. He said that these little wanna be stars weren’t worth the time and effort we put into them, trying to make them into something. They were worth more for their bodies.”

Xavier frowned. “So you just lured black boys to their deaths without a fucking care? They came to you trying to change their lives, to provide for their families, and live their dreams, and you murdered them?”

  Glen froze. “I’m sorry…”

Xavier lifted a brow. “Now, you’re sorry? No, you’ve been a sorry ass the entire time, Glen.”

“What are you going to do to me?”

“Snowman is expecting some body parts tonight…and I’m delivering.” Xavier told him.

Lilac and Jade followed the crowd over to the party Lil D was throwing in his hotel room after the concert ended with Skye as their conta
ct on the outside. They worked the room with drinks in their hands, mingling with the crowd.

They noticed two young teenagers gathered next to Lil D and shared a look before moving closer.

“Y’all sing, dance or what?” Lil D asked them.

“Sing and dance…” one answered. “We trying to get with one of the acts.”

He nodded. “Y’all fine as hell…You from here?”

“No, we drove up from Kentucky.” They told him.

Jade shook her head as they giggled again.

“I can get y’all on, you know that?” Lil D told them.

  Their eyes lit up.

“Y’all want that?” he asked and they all nodded excitedly.

He rubbed his face and leered at their young bodies, before some other bodies caught his eye.

“I’ll holla at you later, don’t go nowhere.” He told the girls, and they agreed. “We’ll talk when everybody’s gone.”

Lil D stood and walked over to Jade and Lilac. “Y’all wit' the X-Ception, right?”

“Yes,” Jade answered. “Thanks for the party.”

“Don’t start no shit this time,” he warned.

Lilac smiled. “We’re good, just as long as your guys don’t try to date rape us.”

He frowned. “My niggas don’t gotta rape nobody.”

“When you drug a woman, that’s rape.” Jade pointed out.

Lil D smiled. “Don’t come to da party if you don’t wanna drink da punch.”

  They looked at him.

  “The X-Ception coming through tonight?”

Lilac shrugged. “Don’t know where he is…said he had some other business and he’d see us later.”

Lil D nodded. “Good, now let me get back to my little guests…” he said staring at the young girls.

“They’re pretty young,” Jade told him.

He laughed. “You can get it…I like older ones too, with yo little sexy selves. I swear the X-Ception’s bitches is fine as hell.”

  “We’ll pass…” Lilac told him.

“I can set you up real nice,” Lil D told them.

Jade frowned. “The X-Ception treats us well.”

“We still got one more stop. You might change your mind.” He told them, and they waited until he walked away.

Jade looked at Lilac. “Why do I feel like I need a shower?”

  Lilac agreed. “Or a hose…”

Skye smiled listening to the women.

“We need to get those little girls away from him,” Jade told Lilac.

“I know. He’s planning on taking them.”

  Jade smirked. “He can try…”

Diamond and Six, followed Jasmine to the airstrip where she’d asked Justice to have the plane on stand-by. They’d been tracking her since she’d given Justice the information for the aircraft. Sitting in the car, they waited, while she exited the car and went to check out the empty plane. Justice had told her, that he’d have it waiting and that she could check it out beforehand to be sure that he’d kept his end of their deal.

Jasmine couldn’t believe that Justice had kept his word as she climbed onto the small private jet. She looked around quickly to be sure everything was in place. When she turned back, there was a silver gun in her face.

  “Hello, Jasmine.”

  “You’re the X-Ception’s Assistant.”

Diamond nodded. “Yes, and I’m also an ass kicker. So, keep that in mind during this conversation.”

Jasmine held her hands in the air. “Justice got this plane for me. You can ask him.”

“I know what Justice has done, now you tell me what you want this plane for…” Diamond inquired.

“I need to get some people away from here before something bad happens to them…” she said quietly.

Diamond looked at her. “Like your brother…?”

Jasmine’s eyes widened. “You knew my brother?” she whispered.

“Your brother is the reason why we’re here.” Diamond told her. “We know that you’re trying to save these young people from the atrocities of this business.”

Diamond saw the girl freeze, before a single tear drop down the girl’s fearful face.

“You can put your hands down,” Diamond told her and put the gun away.

“I don’t want this to happen to anybody else…” Jasmine cried. “The police wouldn’t do anything…so I decided to join the tour myself and find out what was going on.”

“That was very dangerous, Jasmine,” Diamond told her. “Your mother could’ve lost two children to this racket.”

“My little brother just wanted to do what he loved.” Jasmine said softly. “All he talked about was how he was going to make it big and move all of us out of the hood.” She sniffed. “He was going to buy my Momma a house.” She wiped her face. “And they killed him…then dumped him like trash.”

Diamond put an arm around the girl. “I’m sorry…no one deserves that and I promise you, they are going to pay.”

“Lil D is bringing two girls tonight as donors. I need to help them get away, along with a few of the other girls on his bus. That’s why I asked Justice for the plane.” Jasmine explained.

Diamond looked confused. “Why did you trust Justice? He could’ve been a part of this too?”

Jasmine shook her head. “Justice treated me like a person and when he told me that I could trust him, I believed him. No one else on this tour was like him.”

“Yes, there’s no one else quite like Justice, that’s for sure,” Diamond agreed.

Jasmine looked at Diamond. “What are you going to do to me?”

“I’m going to help you.” Diamond told her. “That’s why I’m here.”

There was a bang on the back door and a gruff voice yelled, “What?”

“Lil D sent me. I got a couple.”

The door cracked and a pair of bright brown eyes looked out.

The big man with the two girls frowned.

  “Hey! You the X-Ception’s bodyguard!”

“Damn, you’re smarter than you look,” Xavier said, coming up behind the man, placing his gun in his neck. “Pat him, Six.”

Six removed the gun from the man’s back as the girls watched in horror, before Diamond showed up at their side.

“Come with me,” she told them firmly, then led the youngsters away.

“Step inside,” Xavier ordered the guard.

Six looked at the man he remembered, and said, “Now this…this isn’t business. This shit is personal.”

“Walk,” Xavier directed and they headed to the procedure room. The freezer now held three bodies in the other room.

“Get on the table,” Xavier instructed.

The man glared at Xavier. “I told Lil D not to trust your whack ass.”

Xavier smiled. “Lil D is going to find out how whack I am, real soon…”

“Fuck you nigga!” The guard yelled.

Xavier blinked. “Really?” He moved closer. “Nah, fuck you…nigga!”

The guard took the blow to the head from the pistol, then slumped on the table.

Six looked at Xavier. “You really get into that role.”

Xavier shrugged. “Benjamin Rucker is the best at whatever he does.”

Justice entered the room and saw the man on the table. “Damn, another one? I just finished with the other three.”

Six and Justice watched as Xavier emptied the vial on the bodyguard, then let his body slide to the floor.

Six pulled out his device and alerted the team. A few minutes later, Jade and Lilac entered and removed three cases of money. Skye entered and looked at the man on the floor.

“The others are in the freezer?” Skye asked.

  Xavier nodded.

  “What do we need?”

He pulled out the list that he’d retrieved from the tech. “Three male hearts, livers and kidneys. We’ll say Lil D didn’t deliver on his end with the females. Everything you need is set up and wai
ting.”

Skye grabbed a pair of gloves. “Okay, bring me my bodies…”

  ******

Six and Xavier answered the final knock on the door.

  “What?”

  “Here for the parts…”

  “Who sent you?” Xavier asked.

The guy answered. “The Snowman. You got the goods?”

They opened the door, dressed in scrubs and let the man inside.

Xavier pointed to the cart with several organ transplant containers. “Right there…”

  The man frowned. “That’s all.”

Six shrugged. “The last one didn’t show up with the females.”

“Damn…they’re slacking. Where’s the leftover money?”

Xavier nodded at the cases on the bottom of the cart. “Down there…”

  “Bodies?” he asked.

“On their way being dumped…” Xavier answered.

The man looked impressed. “Any problems?”

Xavier shook his head. “Not one.”

He looked at Six and Xavier. ‘Y’all look new…”

“Thomas and Wesley needed some extra hands.” Xavier told them, smoothly. “They in the back cleaning up, if you wanna holla at them?”

“Nah, not here for socializing. You got what I need right here.”

“You need help taking those out?” Six asked.

  “Yeah, the truck’s right here.”

Six and Xavier, helped the man load the truck with the organs, then watched him take off. They went inside and along with Justice, wiped everything down for the last time, before their agents showed up to gather the remains of the now deceased.

Inside the car, they put Alex on speaker. “All done.” Xavier announced. “We planted the tracking devices in the containers and the truck.”

“Good, head back to the bus,” Alex told them.

“Where are the women?” Xavier asked.

Alex laughed. “Already done and back at the bus. They got everybody on the plane and out of danger. That boy and those two girls realized what a bullet they dodged, and asked Diamond to thank all of you.”

“Is Diamond sure they aren’t going to talk?” Six asked concerned.

“They said that right before Diamond erased all their memories of tonight…” Alex answered.

Xavier smiled. “I love that Goddess…”

  Chapter 21

In the wee hours of the morning, Six and Xavier sat in the lounge of the bus as it drove along the highway to the final stop in Detroit, while the rest of the team was sleeping from a long night of work.
