From Sanctum With Love (Masters and Mercenaries Book 10) Page 26

by Lexi Blake

“I’m your brat,” she replied with a smile.

He brought the belt up and down, the nasty slap sounding through the room and followed by the sweetest sound of all—her gasp and groan. He gave her ten quick licks, watching as she shuddered and braced herself each time.

They could drown in each other and it would be all right with him.

Another ten and then he placed his hand over the stripes that now covered her backside. “Like I said before, so fucking gorgeous.” He opened the drawer to his left. He was prepared now. Years he’d gone without needing to have protection around him because sex had become routine and scheduled. It wasn’t that way with her. With her he needed to stash the fuckers everywhere because he wanted her all the damn time. He’d put them in his wallet, his briefcase, his car. He’d placed a box in her bedside table and hidden a couple around the office.

All so he wouldn’t have to wait, so he could have her whenever he wanted her.

He tore it open and rolled the latex on. When all the craziness settled down, they would talk about commitment and monogamy and better protection because he definitely didn’t want to wear a condom for the rest of his life.

She was the rest of his life.

“I love you, baby.” He liked saying the words. He liked meaning them. He gripped her hips and lined his cock up. She was so wet and ready. The spanking had gotten her hot and bothered all over again. All he had to do to get his little pain slut ready for his cock was give her a couple of good slaps to her ass. All he had to do to get ready to fuck her was think about her.

  “Love you, too, Sir.”

He thrust in hard, knowing exactly how difficult it was for her to say the words. He hadn’t expected them so quickly. They were a gift. Kori didn’t trust easily, though once she gave her loyalty, it took a lot to break it.

She felt so good around him, so perfect and tight.

Her pussy wasn’t the only thing he wanted. “Let me take your ass.”

“Oh, god. Kai, it’s been so long.”

“Let me.” He wanted everything from her.

  “Yes. Take it, Kai.”

Luckily, condoms weren’t the only things he’d stashed in his desk. He grabbed the lube as he pulled out of her hot pussy. He parted her cheeks and dribbled the lube over her tight asshole. Pink and perfect. It was going to grip him like a vise and better, he would feel her squirming as he forced his dick inside. He lubed up his cock and circled her rosette with the head of his dick. “Tell me if it’s too much.”

“I like it, Sir. I haven’t done it in a while, but I know I enjoy it. I’m going to admit you’re bigger than the other guy.”

He smacked her ass. “I don’t want to hear about the other guy. I want to talk about us. You and me. Take me.”

He worked his way in, her ass flowering open in little passes. He looked down, watching the way the tight entry fought to keep him out. It wouldn’t work. He would fight his way in.

Kori’s spine shuddered, her hands reaching out to grip the edge of the desk. She was a gorgeous sacrifice, offering herself to him in every way imaginable.

“Tell me if you like it now.” He shoved in hard, forcing her to take more.

Her breath came out in shaky pants. “I love it. I love the burn. It feels so good.”

He could see tears on her cheeks. She gave them up, too. She gave him everything, which meant he owed her everything, too. He stood firm as he impaled her on his cock, pulling her hips back as she took his full length.

“You’re killing me, Kai.” She’d lifted herself up, pressing back against him so there wasn’t an inch of distance between them.

She clenched around him and it took every ounce of his willpower not to come then and there. The heat was different in her ass, the muscles so tight around him.

He dragged his cock back out and Kori gasped, trying to move against him, to keep him inside.

He pressed her down, ensuring her pelvis was rubbing against the edge of the desk. He knew he’d hit the right spot when she started pressing forward, her breath catching. It gave him the chance to find the perfect rhythm. In and out. He thrust deep and dragged out, his balls starting to draw up.

He pounded inside her and felt the moment she came. She clenched around him and sent him hurling into his own orgasm. It sizzled along his spine as he poured himself into her.

Kori dropped down, the left side of her face pressed against his desk. A satisfied smile curled her lips up. “If that’s what I get for a bad performance, I can’t wait to see what good girls get.”

He pulled out of her and tossed the condom in the trash. The cleaning lady was going to love him. Kai sank back into his chair. He would have to clean it later, but he wanted his cuddle time. Kai pulled her into his arms and couldn’t help but smile when she winced.

“Good girls get sore asses in our world.” He wrapped his arms around her. They would shower in a minute. The building was empty and everything locked up. He would carry her upstairs and if his brother got a show, well, he should have thought about that before he invaded Kai’s place.

“It’s been a long time,” Kori complained, snuggling against him. “I forgot how much it hurts afterward. How am I supposed to dance tonight?”

“Very carefully, my love.” Like everything had to happen tonight. Very, very carefully.

  CHAPTER ELEVEN

Kori looked out over the dance floor and wondered why she wasn’t at home cuddled up with Kai on the sofa. She could be in PJs, drinking a nice cup of hot chocolate and reading Serena’s script. Before bed they would hop in the shower and she would wash her Dom’s hot body before he did the same for her.

But she was here, sitting in the VIP section of a crazy luxurious club where the music was way too loud.

Kai sat beside her, his arm around the back of her chair. He looked over at her and sent her a look that let her know he was thinking about what he’d done to her in his office.

If she was at home, she could be sitting on a nice bag of frozen peas. That would be so soothing.

Sarah stood up suddenly, smoothing down her dress. “I’m heading to the ladies’ room. I’ll be right back.”

Jared looked up from his conversation with his fourth blonde of the night. Lena sat beside him, a dour look on her face while she talked to Squirrel and Tad. Brad was walking around somewhere and Mia seemed to be ignoring Case as much as she could.

And everyone in the damn club was staring at them. Like every single person had been watching them since the moment they’d strode through a bunch of reporters and been shown to this suite-like portion of the club.

All in all, it would be so nice to be home.

“There’s a private VIP bathroom right behind us,” Jared said. “It’s through the door that leads to the private bar and buffet. Look in the back and you’ll find it.”

Sarah gave him a brilliant smile. “Thank you so much.”

She stared down at Kori. Yep, that was her cue that it was time for girl talk. This was precisely why Kori had done the women’s bathroom at the office up like a damn luxury lounge. She so very often got hauled into some bathroom for a life chat, and half the time they were nasty. Life chats should be conducted in nice, glamorous surrounding with pictures of cute dogs and babies and shit. Not surrounded by random tampon vending machines.

“I’ll join you.” Kori sent her best friend a stiff smile because she’d found a comfy place. Anal sex was not something to be taken lightly.

Of course neither was the fact that she’d told Kai she loved him and Kai had said it back.

Scary, scary, amazing and wonderful stuff. Kai Ferguson loved her. It was almost surreal. He loved her and he wanted her to write. Not for his sake. Not because she could bring in income or further his career. He wanted her to write because he loved her and she needed it.

Sarah sighed and held a hand out, helping Kori get up. She leaned in. “This is what you get. Who the hell lets their superhot sadist boyfriend talk her into anal before
going to a dance club?”

“Me,” she admitted. At the time, she’d only been thinking about how hot it was and how good that burn felt. She’d loved the way Kai tasted and she’d wanted to give him everything.

Mia stood up, her shoulders squaring as she secured her purse over her shoulder. “I’ll go, too.”

“Obviously, because you all go in a flock,” Case said with a frown.

“Girls stick together.” There was a whole lot of tension going on that Kori didn’t get. Mia had been tense ever since they’d picked her up in the limo. Case had gone to her door and she sat beside him, but she wasn’t acting like they were on a date.

Jared had already turned back to one of his blondes.

“Some have to because they don’t have any confidence in themselves,” Lena said, taking a sip of her skinny cosmo.

It was the most calories the woman had consumed in days, it seemed to Kori.

She wasn’t about to engage. She sucked it up and put a smile on her face because not everyone in the room needed to know what she’d done with her superhot sadist boyfriend only a few hours before.

Kai stood up beside her and drew her in close. All evening long he’d been attentive, sitting with her and generally being around if she needed something. He’d calmed so much from earlier in the day. He drew her away from the crowd, leaning over to whisper in her ear. “Can you do me a favor, baby?”

For that face, she would do almost anything. She let her hands run up his torso. It seemed insane to her that she’d spent so much time watching him and not touching him. It felt so damn right to touch him. And she’d made the decision to chill about the contract. He’d told her he loved her. If he wasn’t ready for a contract, then she wouldn’t push. And all that talk Jared had given her about how fast Kai moved when he was truly in love, well, Kai had grown up a lot since then. He wasn’t a man who would ever lie to her. There was absolutely nothing truly manipulative about Kai Ferguson. “Of course.”

“Talk to Mia. Case is going crazy. He wants to spend some time with her. I’ve seen the way she looks at him. Find out why she’s so scared and calm her down,” he whispered. “Just one dance. I think that would help Case a lot.”

Okay, so he was only manipulative in other’s best interests. Kai was right. Mia was twelve kinds of hung up on Case. So why wasn’t she paying attention to him tonight? “I’ll do what I can.”

He winked and brushed his lips over hers before she joined her girls.

The minute they walked out of the VIP lounge and into the private bar, the music volume dropped and Kori could hear again. Thank god.

Sarah turned the minute the door closed. “He’s a dick.”

Jared had been true to his word. He’d accepted Kori’s request that Sarah be included and then proceeded to ignore her in favor of any other woman who wanted to talk to him.

“I’m sorry.” The whole night was one big waste. Why anyone would want to sit in a club all night where they couldn’t hear well and no one seemed to be getting along was way past her understanding. “I think maybe he’s more of a player than we thought he was.”

She’d hoped Jared would come around. Sarah was strong enough to handle the press. Kai was right about that, and he’d been right about letting Sarah make her own decisions.

Sarah shrugged and walked over to the bar. Earlier there had been a bartender present, but Jared had explained that he preferred to mix his own drinks and tipped the guy to go away. Kori was certain that was because Jared was fairly paranoid that everyone was some kind of undercover reporter waiting to sell him out to the tabloids. He might be right, but it would have been nice to have a bartender.

“I thought we were going to the ladies’ room,” Mia said, looking back toward the door.

“Oh, that was my way of not having to bring anything back for the guys,” Sarah explained. She uncorked a bottle of tequila and poured out a shot. And then another. And another. Luckily the limes had already been sliced and someone had thoughtfully left out a saltshaker. “Drink with me. Please, I need my bitches. I got the cold shoulder from Hollywood hottie and now I have to watch him flirt with skanks all night.” She pointed Mia’s way. “Don’t you start with they might not be skanks. I’m not in a fair or forgiving mood.”

Mia’s shoulders squared and she stepped up to the bar. “They are obviously skanks.”

Ah, the solidarity of womanhood. Kori picked up the remaining shot glass, but not before giving her thumb a nice lick and letting Sara salt her up. There was a proper way to do a shot even in times of distress. It’s what lifted them up from the barbarians. Not the animals. Animals were often nicer than people. But she was fairly certain barbarians didn’t properly shoot tequila. She held her glass up. “May he get an STD from sleeping with skanks.”

“Here, here,” Sarah agreed. “And may this liquor help Kori’s asshole feel less enflamed.”

Unfortunately, Mia had already started her shot when that little line was uttered. She nearly spit out her tequila.

Damn, but she might need more than one. Kori did her shot, managing to not choke before she bit down on her lime and sent Sarah a look that hopefully could freeze over hell. “Really? We need to advertise?”

“You let Kai do that?” Mia grabbed a bottle of water. “Seriously?”

“He’s my boyfriend and we’re…very open to certain types of play,” Kori admitted. “I’m going to take it this is one of your hard limits?”

She wasn’t going to get all bent out of shape. Mia wasn’t looking at her like she was the whore of Babylon or anything. The pretty blonde was fairly new to the scene. She was finding her way and that often meant asking questions.

Mia took a long drink. “No. I made it soft, but I don’t do any of the sex stuff with my training Dom. Javier is nice and all, but I’m interested in a relationship, not casual sex.”

Javier was a line chef at Sean Taggart’s restaurant. He was known as Top’s manwhore du jour. “Yes, you should keep it friendly with him. I don’t think he does relationships.”

“What about Case? Are you trying to bag a Taggart?” Sarah asked, pouring herself another drink.

“I don’t know. I’m going to admit that I am very attracted to him, but he scares me, too. I don’t like the fact that he seemed to hate me one day and the next he’s asking me out,” Mia admitted. “It seems fishy to me. He’s been almost too nice lately.”

“Cut him some slack,” Kori said quietly. “He’s still in mourning.”

“I get that, but I think something’s going on. And I’m not sure I completely trust Jared’s crew.” Mia leaned against the bar.

“Because he’s a dick,” Sarah agreed.

Mia shook her head. “No, I’ve been doing some digging. His entourage has some serious issues. Did you know that Lena chick threw hot coffee all over a woman who was hitting on her last employer? She was working for a big-name actor and the rumors are she had an affair with him. Well, at a promo junket, she decided one of the reporters was getting to close to her man and she tossed a Starbuck’s in her face. Lena spent some time in ‘rehab’ after that.”

That was some juicy gossip. “How do you know that?”

“I have friends in LA,” Mia admitted. “Look, I don’t talk about this a lot, but my brother does some work for important people. He has connections and I used them to look into the new guys.”

“Paranoid, much? Not that I’m blaming you,” Sarah said, finishing her second shot. “It’s totally cool because your paranoia is the most interesting thing that’s happened all evening, but it’s weird. Normal people don’t investigate newbies.”

Mia shrugged. “Consider it a hobby. I think we should stick together while we’re hanging out with Jared and his crew. It’s fine to dance and everything, but maybe we shouldn’t wander off alone.”

“Okay, now you’re scaring me.” Kori stared at Mia, who suddenly looked like a girl who knew something she shouldn’t. “What is this about?”

  “Look
, I had a friend who knew Jared a couple of years back,” Mia replied. “We went to college together. She was murdered after she visited one of his sets.”

Sarah’s eyes went wide. “You think Jared killed her? Because I’m not seeing that. I was voted girl most likely to be murdered by my senior class and he’s not interested in me at all.”

“You went to a weird school,” Kori said with a shake of her head before turning back to Mia. “You’ve got to be kidding me.”

Mia’s eyes were clear and serious as she spoke. “About my friend? No. I’m not kidding. She really liked him and then one day I didn’t hear from her. A week later they found her body. I don’t know if it was him, but I started doing some research…”

The door opened and Mia’s mouth closed fast. Brad and Lena walked in, Lena’s head shaking as she walked toward the bar.

“I told you, I’ve already got everything set up,” Lena was saying. “My mother is going to be producing several high-quality, Oscar-worthy films and I’m going to get Jared in them. He’s leaving the whole TV shit behind him and he won’t look back.”

“Lena, don’t push this. You know how this goes. If he moves out of superhero shit, he won’t need me,” Brad argued, his face florid.

Lena waved that worry off. “He’ll always need a trainer.”

“But he’ll get one of those easygoing ones,” Brad argued. “Look, no one trains this hard if they’re not taking their shirt off five times a day. Do you have any idea how long it’s been since that man had carbs? No one wants to live like that. They have to because their careers depend on it. You want to make him over into some bullshit actor. Have you seen him really act?”

Lena rolled her eyes. “I have more faith in him than you do. He’ll learn, and yes, I’m going to make sure he gets a new trainer. And a new agent because your brother sucks. He spends all his time hitting on women when he should be managing Jared’s career. Now get away from me. I’m going to the ladies’ room. Alone. Because I’m an adult.”
