Heart of the Resonant- the Soldier's Tale Page 30

by B. C. Handler

“B-but everyone drank it,” I stuttered, then groaned when someone took my entire length in their mouth.

“Exactly,” Nolala said in a husky, lust ridden voice as she slithered over other lamia engaged in cunnilingus or desperately making out. The mature Chieftain’s elegantly voluptuous body was on full display, the sight of her magnificent chest making my manhood throb with my climbing pulse. Her heavy tits sagged a little more than Sanvi’s, but they were still perfect teardrops of pale flesh that I just wanted suckle.

The women attacking my dick with their mouths parted as Nolala staked her claim. Standing over me like a goddess, Nolala hefted one on her great tits, then ran a hand down her flat belly to spread the lips of her dripping and beautifully pink womanhood. Running a tongue over her full lips, she loomed over and ceased my cock. With a regal smile, she lowered herself, her pussy slowly eating my cock inch by inch. After making a musical hum of pleasure, Nolala began to ride me at a slow, sensual gait.

“Nature’s Blessing is a powerful pain reliever and antiseptic,” the Chieftain said through her heated moans. Her velvety depths weren’t as tight as the others, but damn it if her muscles weren’t massaging my cock in a mind-numbingly magical way. “Hmm, but… when burned, the smoke acts as a strong aphrodisiac. Lamia have used it for centuries to… aid in making relationships with others. And everyone wants to get to know you better, Oliver.” The way she said my name dripped with motive.

Of course, that was obvious from all the hungry gazes of the lamia circle around us, watching the show of Nolala riding me like a show pony while also waiting for their turns. With the Chieftain’s experienced pussy, the burning sex drug, and all the bare breasts and beautifully sculpted bodies, I was redlining hard.

Burying my face into her massive swells, I grabbed hold of where the skin of her waist transitioned into scales and came hard and deep. Nolala let out a low, unbroken moan into my ear as she reached her zenith, her trembling pussy milking the very life out of me.

“You’ve made yourself very desirable in the eyes of my people,” Nolala implored as she pulled herself away. As soon as my dick was exposed, three women swept in and began eagerly lapping up the mess with roaming tongues. “I certainly hope everyone gets to embrace you.”

Nolala got cozy by Sanvi, where the warrioress leaned over and began to suckle the Chieftain’s heavy breasts. The woman who had been going down on Sanvi traded off with another lamia, then began to feast on Nolala’s loins.

Trembling from all the mouths servicing me, I stared at Nolala, only then processing the weight of what she just said. Even though I just came, my manhood stood at full attention, still throbbing in a bad way. Warmth and humming tingles racked my entire nervous system with pure pleasure from even the slightest touch to my cock.

The faint traces of rational thought not drowned out by primal desire processed the idea of actually sleeping with all thirty-nine women of the Isusi.

My heart was more likely to give out before I even got halfway through their numbers. As my three-way blowjob ended and another lamia began to mount me, I looked for Fell and Meriel, hoping for some help.

The elf was grinding her pussy over someone’s face and was actively making out with Wren, who had one eye watching the show of me getting fucked. Fell was on her feet, one lamia eating her out, while another had their face buried between her cheeks.

  I’m on my own.

Overpowered by the blissful sensation of another tight lamia, I closed my eyes and let all the blending moans and cries of pleasure lull me into trance of euphoria. If there was no tomorrow for me, I could at least be happy about drowning in a nest of horny snake-women.

  Chapter 22

Relief was the first thing I felt upon waking. The second was the familiar warmth I’ve grown to expect every morning. Curled up on either side of me was Meriel and Fell. Naked and with their hair in a disheveled mess, they snoozed with little smiles of ultimate satisfaction.

Easy for them since they weren’t passed around like a fifth of Jack at a frat party.

Putting it simply, everyone got a sip. Fueled by some exotic love-drug, I managed to survive each of the Isusi, many of whom came back for seconds. Trying to recall every detail was impossible; only vague flashes of breasts, toned flesh, scales, and faces contorted in ecstasy came to surface. Though, one face that was more prominent than the others was Nuna. Sanvi was up there, too, but Nuna probably had six or seven different goes at me. She was the last face I recalled before blacking out.

Attempting to lift my neck prompted a pained groan. My muscles felt tenderer than… Well, a tenderloin. As I groaned and shifted, so did my pillow. Sanvi had our heads resting along her taut belly, her snake-half lazily draped over our feet as she slept. Seeing her dark lips curled into a smile while under the blissful recluse of dreams chased the pain away. While everything about the latter half of last night was foggy, Sanvi’s moans of pleasure were still clear, and they helped drown out the memory of her cry in the caves.

Now that Nature’s Love was out of my system, and the initial fugue of waking passed, I was acutely aware of all the women around us. As well as how bare I was.

I sat up to cover my shame, which stirred Meriel and Fell from their sleep. Fell’s ear kept twitching until lightly scratched at it, then smooth her disheveled hair back; Meriel stretched her arms wide, arching her back and accentuating her pert chest before looking back to me with a happy, bleary smile.

“Did you all sleep well?” Remy asked as she slithered over. She blushed as our eyes made contact, but didn’t look away.

“Wonderfully,” Fell said as she rose, butting her bare ass and puffy tail in front of my face. She looked down, completely unabashed. “Sleep well?”

Meriel sagged against me. “Five more minutes.”

“It’s well into the day,” Remy informed, then pointed to our folded bundles at the foot of our bed. “We’ve already cleaned your clothes. But, please, rest as long as you’d like.”

Doing another quick look around the room, the few bedrolls we took up were the only ones left, and people were busy going about their regular activities of sharpening weapons, making arrows, or doing some weaving. Nothing precious smiles came from the snake-women, which made me worry if a repeat of last night would occur. On the one hand, it was an intoxicatingly pleasure night. On the other, I was literally fucked silly and worried at numerous points if they were going to squeeze the life out of me like a python would a mouse.

I reached over and grabbed my bundle of clothes. “Yeah… I think it’s time to get decent and start the day.”

“How about a bath?” Fell asked.

“Agreed,” Meriel said as she stood and stretched openly. “I feel very dirty. Right, Oliver?” she asked with a smirk.

“Forever unclean,” I joked as I stood, getting some catcalls and whistles. My immediate urge was to cover up, but not like there was anything left to hide. “Yeah yeah, go on and stare, ya heathens.”

“Oh, I intend to,” Sanvi hummed as she watched from the ground with a lopsided grin. After a yawn, she rolled up and got some loud pops from her powerful back. “Mind if I join you all for that bath?”

“As long as you keep your hands to yourself,” I said, then groaned when taking a step forward. “You and everyone else probably shaved twenty years off my life. It’s going to take at least a week for me to recover.”

Sanvi pressed her breasts together, goading me for a reaction. “We’ll see what happens.”

Together and in the buff, we made our way to the temple’s pool to soak. The hot water was exactly what I needed, especially since I felt more banged up after the orgy than before. The bruises around my arms and shoulders had taken on a deep blueberry color; in fact, I had more bruises than skin. Constantly delving into the caves and tunnels had taken a toll on my body. Thankfully the girls were there to help massage the knots out, and I was happy to repay the favor. Good thing Sanvi still only had the use of one arm, otherwise she wou
ld’ve added more bruises.

Much to my surprise, Sanvi set her left arm at the edge of the pool and unwrapped the bandages. I asked if that was okay, but she quickly waved it off and explained that she was going to see Wren after the bath anyways. Her arm looked inflamed and bruised up worse than my body, but, considering what happened and the passage of a couple days, she looked well on the road to complete recovery. Magic healing was no joke.

“Sanvi,” I called while still observing her arm. “Sorry if this sounds messed up, but if I had to cut off your arm, would Wren have been able to grow it back with magic?”

Instead of taking offense, she looked up in deep thought. “Wren’s a good healer, but not that good.” She cast her speculative gaze to Meriel and Fell. “I’ve actually never thought about that. Since you two are from Scintillion, do you know if that’s possible.”

“The major of my battalion had her arm chewed off by one of the Null’s horrors,” Meriel informed. “Being a major, she managed to kill the monstrous thing. Once she…reclaimed her arm out of its mouth, healers managed to reattach it. Of course, she had most of her arm to work with.”

“Each battalion typically receive a troop of twenty healers, one or two being in the eighth degree of above in their principal,” Fell added. “Reattaching an amputated limb is one of the hardest things even experienced healers can manage. I’ve never witnessed or met anyone who has regenerated a limb, but it is possible. Well, for tenth-degree healing mages in the principle of matter, that is.”

  “Why only matter?” I asked.

Fell wiped water from her face as she composed her response. “Those with a principle in spirit can’t heal at all. Healers with principles in energy essential boost the patient’s own ability to repair themselves. But for recreating flesh, healers in matter have to convert their essence into usable flesh for the patient. Although, as Meriel pointed out, such treatment is only saved for high-ranking people because it’s slow, arduous, and very costly to the healer.”

I dunked my head then dragged my hands down my face. “Damn. Magic is way deeper than I thought.”

Meriel shrugged. “People from across several worlds have been studying magic for thousands of years.”

Powerful weapons and ability fueled by magic was just pure make-believe from home, but it actually has a solid foundation—

  Wait…

“If magic is so prevalent across worlds, how come mine didn’t know anything about it?” I asked the three of them. “And that ruby thing you guys call an Artifact, isn’t it a magical weapon or something?”

The girls exchanged an uncomfortable look, and Sanvi tried her best to look uninterested at the question.

Meriel dipped her mouth below water and burbled some bubbles, then came back up to heave a sigh.

“Artifact is a broad term we use to describe items with a potent amount of power; maybe it’s a weapon, there’s no way to know till certified mages study it. As for magic… Your world was… different in a lot of ways,” the elf said slowly, her steely eyes tracking my face carefully.

Before I could react, Sanvi gently reached over and drew me back into her chest. I looked up to see her concerned smile. Looking back at the girls, I saw the confliction about wanting to talk about my home. An ember of hatred burned within my chest, and someone deserves that hatred, but none of them were here. I’m not emotionally articulate enough to put everything in order, but I knew there was only one way to start working past this.

Relaxing into Sanvi’s chest, I closed my eyes to take a moment.

“You guys have been good and honest with me,” I said, giving the elf and fox-woman a gentle look. “Ask what you want to ask.”

Meriel swam a little closer, and after a heavy swallow, asked, “Your world knew nothing of magic? Absolutely nothing?”

“That’s right,” I replied. “Aside from some lore that was hardly historical, it was all just fiction.”

Fell’s vulpine ears twitched to flick away water. “Raiders aren’t given much information regarding the worlds we travel to. We get in, search and collect the nearest artifact, and try to survive for the recall. From other raids, we’ve gathered other oblivious worlds had at least an acute understanding of magic.

“It’s just one of the bizarre elements from your world.”

Fighting the urge to end the conversation, I asked, “What else was bizarre?”

Meriel gave a single shoulder shrug. “The architecture for one. Some structures looked impossibly big, there was more stone than grass, the air smelled odd, and everything just felt so…” She trailed off then gave me a loaded look.

  “It’s okay,” I assured.

  “Unnatural,” Meriel finished.

She looked regretful after saying that, so she swam closer and wrapped me in a hug. And I was more than willing to reciprocate. Fell joined in, too, and Sanvi rested her chin over my head as we took a moment to enjoy each other.

“I don’t know what to tell you girls,” I said through a sigh. “Home was home, and it was all I knew.” I wrapped my arms around their waists and sank into Sanvi’s chest, grateful to be allowed this comfort. “I want to understand what happened, but none of us are equipped to delve into that.

“The Null got what was coming to them, and we made it out alive. For now, I’m just going to try and figure out the future.”

Meriel pressed her face into my neck. “Does that future include us?”

There was a lot to unpack in that simple, hopeful question. Even as I thought, Fell leaned in and rested her head on my shoulder, showing me that she cared in her own way. Then there was the beautiful snake-women who vouched for me and even put her own life on the line. Where would I be without them?

Though, if it weren’t for the presence of the girls, I would’ve swallowed my gun a long time ago.

“Yeah,” I said, a smile creeping onto my face. “A future with you two sounds pretty damn good.” I reached behind to cradle Sanvi’s cheek. “And that goes for you and the Isusi, too.”

The built lamia ran the figures of her good arm along my neck and played with my tags and the magical speaking rock. “Good,” she whispered, then sank her teeth lightly into my earlobe. “Not often I meet a man who exceeds my standards.”

Meriel chuckled sweetly and started rubbing little circles on my chest, gradually working lower and lower. “I did say if you managed to drop the Marker, then no other man would ever compare in my eyes.”

“Oliver Lawe, the man who destroyed a Marker with flour,” Fell mused as her coppery eyes bored into me with admiration. “I feel honored to be close to you.”

I was going to remind her that this was possible because of her and everyone else, but then I shuttered when Meriel and Sanvi started to attack my neck from both sides, the elf’s hand heading further south. At the sensation of another hand, I looked to Fell to see her swallow heavily, then began inching her face closer to mine.

“Trouble!” someone cried as they rushed into the room.

Whirling around in a panic, we stared at Nuna, who was wide-eyed and looked as pale as snow.

“What is it?” I asked while detangling from the girls.

“Just gather in the great room,” Nuna fretted. “Hurry.” Sharing nothing more, she turned and launched out of the room like an arrow.

Sanvi propelled herself easily out of the water and left faster than a thought, bare and sopping wet. Not wasting a beat, we climbed out of the pool and frantically dried and dressed ourselves before sprinting to the common area.

Everyone gathered around the hearth, where there was a commotion of voices. Carefully stepping over tails and nudging women aside, I got to the center to see Rabea and four other lamia still dressed in combat garb frantically explaining details too fast to follow to Nolala and Nuna.

“What’s going on?” I asked to the group.

“The Null in the north,” Rabea answered then paused to suck in a few shallow breaths. “They’re pulling back.” When my initial reac
tion was confusion, Rabea threw down her bow and dumped the contents of her satchel. Finding a bundle of scrolls, she laid them out haphazardly and jabbed her finger down at one map. “The line the Null made along Elesrora, they’re falling back into the foot of the northern mountains and around into the forest.”

My blood turned to ice as I stared at the maps. Meriel and Fell leaned over me, and I heard them gasp, the horror of Rabea’s information evident.

Sanvi weaved her way into the center. She deposited herself next to Rabea, still naked, and unfurled the detailed maps. Her head swiveled back and forth as she compared the two. After clenching her fists until the knuckles popped, Sanvi cursed under her breath.

The black slash that symbolized the Null had pulled back about six miles on the updated map. A portion of it stretched further out and was curling around ridge that cordoned off most of the mountain.

  Son of a bitch.

“Rabea, breathe for me,” I advised while setting my hands on her shoulders. Her tense muscles relaxed, and she took a moment to collect herself. “Good. Now, how accurate is the map?”

“Everything near an army of that size dies and turns to dust,” Rabea answered grimly. “We decided it was safe enough to scavenge on the western mountain face. I take my readings at the same spot and use the same points. The dark mass that makes up their army has pulled back several miles.”

Nolala took in all the information, then uttered a silent sigh. “They’re looking to fortify around the mountains.”

I dropped down to my ass and ran my hands through my hair. “Fucking idiot.”

“Wh— But—” Meriel sputtered, frantically switching her gaze between me, Rabea, and Nolala. “What does it mean?”

“It means my plan just fucked us,” I stated, only then realizing how much of an absolute moron I was. “If I’m on the right track here, the Null are going to knuckle down in the mountains and fend off Elesrora’s forces while they try to build another Marker.” I chuckled in disbelief and shook my head. “Too damned focused on the Marker that I didn’t even consider what they’d do in response. Shit.”
