I chuckled and took her hand, pressing it against my stiff groin. Instead of pulling her hand back, she grasped me and squeezed, sending shots of pleasure up my spine.
“Christ, El. Goddamn, that feels so good.”
She continued to rub her hand up and down my length through my jeans. I sat there, propped up, my face muffled into the crook of her neck, and groaned.
“Elsie… you don’t know…”
“I know I can do for you what you did for me.” Her eyebrow tilted, the corners of her lips quirked up in a rakish grin.
If my dick could double in size, it would’ve. Damn.
Elsie moved down the length of my body, undoing the zipper of my jeans. I could barely breathe watching her slip my pants down my legs. Her eyes never left my cock, standing straight and proud.
“I’ve never done this before, Skyler, I don’t know…”
“There’s nothing you can do wrong, baby. Just breathing on the damn thing would probably set me off.”
Elsie’s hands slid up my legs, tickling my hair. Grabbing my inner thighs, she spread my legs, mimicking what I did to her. I forced myself to be still and let her explore my body without pressure.
When her hands finally circled my dick, I groaned, leaning my head back, grasping the sheets with my hands.
“Damn, that feels good, baby. Run your hand up and down slowly.” I stared at her small hand on my dick, her eyes glued to the head seeping precum.
“It’s so big and hard, Skyler. It’s bigger than BOB.”
“What?” I choked out. Bob? Who the hell is Bob?
“You know, BOB. My battery-operated boyfriend.” She grinned, giving my dick a more forceful squeeze.
She had a dildo? Christ! Imagines of her masturbating swam in my mind. Unconsciously, I thrust my hips up into her hand.
Darting out her delicate little tongue, she licked the precum off my tip. I ran my hands through her hair, feeling the soft, dark mane slide through my fingers.
She looked so beautiful licking me.
“You can put it in your mouth. If you want.” Please, God, let her want!
Her eyes met mine and stayed locked in as she slid her mouth down the entire length of my cock. Oh, she wants! A strangled moan escaped my throat. I felt like the luckiest fuckin’ man in the world with such an extraordinary woman sucking my dick.
Gently, I guided her head up and down my length. My hips began tilting of their own accord, begging her to take me further. I couldn’t keep a thought in my head other than how good it felt.
It didn’t take long for me to get close. Her lack of artifice was intoxicating; all she had to do was touch me with that sincere desire to please me and I was a goner. I could feel it in every movement. She wanted to make me feel the way I’d made her feel; damn if I didn’t want to let her.
“Elsie, I’m going to come. You’re gonna want to…”
I couldn’t finish my sentence because she doubled down, taking me in further, her accompanying hand moving faster and tighter.
I came in an overwhelming wave, my hands grasping her head, my eyes closing in bliss. My come shot down her throat as she moaned. Crying out her name, I fell back, my breath coming in quick pants.
That was the most amazing blowjob I’d ever received. My body shivered with aftershocks. Reaching down, I pulled Elsie on top of me and kissed her, tasting the combination of her sweet mouth and my come. It was heady.
“You’re amazing.”
She smiled and snuggled into my chest. I reached my arms around her and held her tight to me.
“You taste good. I didn’t know what to expect. I did good, then?”
“Baby, you did better than good. You rocked my world.” I ran my hands down to her generous ass, grabbed it, and gave it a healthy shake to punctuate my point. “I’m glad you like the way I taste. It’s so hot when you swallow it.”
“Mmm…” She hummed against my chest. “I love the feeling after. It’s like my body is full of warm honey.” Elsie’s eyes were drooping, her body like Jello on top of me.
“That, my sweet girl, is the afterglow.”
We lay there for a time, my hands running up and down her back. She begins humming a melody I haven’t heard before.
“I just wanna live… in your afterglow… it’s like warm honey… in your afterglow.” She sang quietly against my chest. The melody was slow and enchanting.
“You writing a song?”
“Mhmm…” Her eyes lifted to mine. “I need the piano.”
Elsie rose and scampered to the piano, not even bothering with her clothes. Touching the keys, she recreated the melody.
Propping myself on the headboard, I watched her sit at the piano, her long dark hair rippling as she played. I listened and watched her fingers move confidently across the keys. I felt the melody and started singing, lyrics coming to me as I did.
Laying here at night
Listenin’ to you breathe
Each day is better
Now that you’re here with me
Elsie sang the chorus she created. We went on like this for four stanzas, following each with her chorus.
I just wanna live
In your afterglow
You’re like warm honey
In your afterglow
The future is obscure
No maps will guide
Land of the unknown
But my fear has died
I just wanna live
In your afterglow
You’re like warm honey
In your afterglow
Trusting in your soul
Your eternal good
Just come take my hand
If you would
I just wanna live
In your afterglow
You’re like warm honey
In your afterglow
The sun shines more bright
The moon more low
Extreme everything
In your afterglow
I just wanna live
In your afterglow
You’re like warm honey
In your afterglow
When we stopped, Elsie jumped up and grabbed a notepad, writing the lyrics. She looked back at me and her smile was as bright as the sun.
“Did we seriously just write a song?” I was incredulous. We’d spent maybe twenty minutes singing to her melody. “That’s unbelievable!”
“It went a lot faster with you. And it helped me to be inspired.” Her smile was gentle and affectionate.
“Yeah. Me too.”
I Smell a Rat
Skyler
I rolled over in my bed, taking the duvet with me to hide my eyes from the sun blaring through the window. It was morning. Again. Though I begrudged the coming of the new day, I was excited about getting up. Elsie and I had stayed up late writing songs, talking, kissing, and touching.
Under the covers, I smiled. Elsie. I loved how she played songs that reflected her emotions. She doesn’t emote as heavily as other women I’ve dated, which was hard to get used to at first.
Not that she didn’t have feelings. She clearly did; big ones. She just expressed them differently, through sound and lyrics. And wow, did she express them. When she felt the song, her sound and motions were so big.
No wonder she was so prolific.
Just the thought of her sitting there, strumming the guitar in those cute little sleep shorts got me hard. I reached down and palmed my dick, stroking from base to tip. Man, she has me by the balls. And I’m totally okay with that.
It’d been three days since the first time I touched her and made her come. Oh, the way her skin rippled in my hands when she went over the edge. I wanted to make her do it over and over and over again. But I wanted more than just that. I wanted to know everything about her. For the first time in my life, conversation and just being with a woman was more inviting than sex.
The woman was a witch. Voodoo. Pure voodoo.
I reached down to touch myself and let images of her firm tits fill my b
rain, her luscious ass, and the way she looked at me when I touched her. Stroking my dick faster, I imagined her gasp and cry as her cunt squeezed me with pleasure until I came all over my hand. Relief soothed my body, but the craving was still there. I knew it wouldn’t abate until I had the chance to touch her again.
As I scrub myself with the soapy washcloth to clean up my mess, I’m distracted by the sound of my phone ringing. A quick glance at the clock tells me it’s only eight am. Who would call me this early? Satan?
I looked at the phone. Camille. Figures.
“Hey boss lady, how’s it cookin’ in LA?” I wouldn’t call Camille the devil or a friend, but she was the closest thing I had to one right now, if only because we’ve known each other for so long. She’s a bitch; but she’s my bitch.
“Skyler, good to hear your voice. I trust things are going well with the song doctor? Or shall we say, your new Siren?” She laughed at Elsie’s new nickname, but I loved it. She was my Siren.
“Yeah, at the pace we’re moving, we’ll have a full album of songs soon. Truthfully, we have the number right now, but Elsie has more for us to work through to give us some options. You were so right, Cam. She’s majorly talented. Fuck talented is an understatement.” I may have been hesitant at first, but I’d sing Elsie’s praises to anyone willing to listen.
“Would I steer you wrong, Sky?” she purred in her best customer service voice.
I grin and can’t help but bring her down a peg. “Well, there was that one time in Houston…”
“Don’t you dare go there, you little shit. I was acting on misinformation. That wasn’t my fault!”
Fifteen years ago, MD was in Houston for a big show at the Toyota Center, or at least that’s what Camille told us. Turned out she booked a small bar instead. She insisted to this day that the owner who wanted to promote his bar swindled her. It spun into a hot mess, fans mobbing the small location. Me and the guys could only play a few songs before a horde accosted us.
The ‘Houston Event,’ as it was now known, was the reason we had so much security now. I didn’t think I could handle another episode of having my shirt ripped off my back, only to be sold on eBay for ten grand.
“So you say!” I teased her, enjoying the lightheartedness of our conversation. I’d take what I could get. “Yeah, we’re doing good work. I’ll send you a few tracks so you can get a feel for what we’re doing.”
“Awesome.” She sounded relieved, and I could understand. It was her career on the line too. “We need to discuss the single release of Hallelujah. We’re keeping it digital, so there’s no overhead for printing. I’ve got a producer here mastering it, but you’ll get the final say before it’s sent out.”
“Works for me.” I was hesitant at first to release the song Elsie made me play, but after hearing it, seeing the fans’ reactions, and the pleasure I got from roping in Elsie, I couldn’t wait to see it go out.
“Let’s talk turkey. The powers that be want us starting on the video. First, we pick a charity.”
“Done. I want it to go with Natural High, that charity that helps kids find different ways to get high on life. I think Benny would dig that.” If Benny had had an alternative to cope with his emotions—the rejection of his parents, the stress of the job, his sister’s accident—I think he’d still be here today.
“Great. So I’ll contact Natural High and see if they’re willing to put their name out there with you. I don’t expect a problem. They work with a lot of other artists.” I knew Camille would handle it; Cam was a smooth talker. No doubt she could convince a wild bear not to shit in the woods.
“I’m working on getting Simon Barker to create the music video. We’ll get in touch with you about those details, but we’re filming in two weeks, so prepare yourself. And Skyler…”
“Yeah?”
“Prepare Elsie. I’ve been talking to Amelia, and she said we’re bringing her in to capitalize on the Skyler’s Siren business. But we need to make sure if she commits she follows through. We can’t let a little bout of stage fright ruin a perfectly good plan.”
I rolled my eyes, imagining Amelia and Cam sitting at the bar, talking about him over martinis. Working together, those two could take over the world.
“Yeah, okay,” I nodded, even though she couldn’t see me. She was right. We were going to need to handle El with kid gloves. “She wants to be in the shadows or covered up somehow.”
“Why? That’s weird.” I growl in her ear at the comment, but she continues.“There’s a line of girls around the greater LA area desperate to show off their tits in one of your videos. You’d think she’d appreciate the exposure,” Camille scoffed.
I’d rather see Elsie’s breasts than all the breasts in LA in one room. Man, they’re perky and her nipples are such sweet little berries. My dick started getting hard again. I coughed and adjusted the stiffness in my jeans.
“She’s insecure about her scars,” I told Cam about Elsie’s scars and how she got them. Despite the music industry being a tight-knit community known for its gossip, Elsie’s injury wasn’t widely known about. Ellis Clarke’s reach made it easy for them to maintain their privacy. I couldn’t blame her, though it saddened me.
I shook my head as I continued to explain, “I understand her fears, but I just don’t agree with it, Cam. The woman has more talent than God, but she’s not out there performing. It’s a big deal she’s even agreed to do it.”
“I knew she had a reputation for being a hermit, but damn.” Camille whistled quietly.
“I’m not sure how they keep it so tightly under wraps, but Cam, the last thing I want to do is expose her to any sort of ridicule.”
She must have heard something in my voice because she immediately became suspicious.
“Okay. I get it,” she said, slowly. “Now, we need to discuss something of a personal nature, Skyler.”
I groaned, praying the tabloids weren’t spinning their webs again.
“A little bird informed me you’re getting pretty cozy with Ms. Clarke.”
Cam’s suspicions were something I was ready to fight off, not gossip. What the fuck?
“Who told you that?”
“Skyler, is it really important who told me? You gotta be careful and not think with your dick on this one. Do you hear me? Elsie Clarke is Ellis Clarke’s youngest daughter. You fuck with her, you fuck with the label. I know I’m a smooth talker, but I’m not sure I can dig you out of a hole that size.”
“Don’t fuck with her? What do you think I’m going to do? Toilet paper her house?” I felt a fire raging in my chest. How could she even think I’d hurt Elsie?
“Sky, you’ve never had a real relationship. Suppose you engage in a sexual liaison with her, she gets attached, then you’re back to business as usual in LA. It’s a recipe for a certifiable shit show.”
I understood what Cam was saying, but I didn’t want to stay away from her, dammit. I didn’t want to go back to LA and ‘resume business as usual.’
“It was Rush, wasn’t it?” The thought of that little prick running to Cam to tattle on me was infuriating. “We both know he’s a nosy little bitch. Old ladies at Bingo have nothing on him.”
Camille laughed. She knew I was right, but it didn’t matter. If Rush would go to Camille, there’s no telling what else he’ll do to stir the pot.
“Cam, he’s a loose fuckin’ cannon. He shows up here on their first day, drunk as hell, spouting nasty shit about Elsie’s appearance… in her face.”
“What?” Cam was appropriately outraged. “Well, he failed to mention that particular detail.”
“Yeah, the little fucker had to stop by the local watering hole to get his drink on before showing up. I don’t trust him, Cam.”
“What do you want to do? This is the Skyler Dalton show. You call the shots.” Cam sighed.
“Nothing, yet. I want to get through this album, but start looking at other bass players in the meantime. We need a backup plan. I want in on it this time, so send me
some audition tracks.”
“Okay, Skyler. If that’s what you want.” Camille sounded pleased I wasn’t thrusting the job on her alone.
“Thanks, and hey, I appreciate everything you’re doing for me. Really. I know the last year hasn’t been easy on you, what with me…” I didn’t finish that sentence. She knew what I was saying.
Camille paused and let out a deep breath.
“I sure hope you know what you’re doing, Dalton.”
“So do I.”
Big Mouth, Little Dick
Elsie
I sat at my piano in the music room and toyed with my new song. I was nervous and excited at the same time. This was a new feeling for me—I never got nervous about my music. It was the one thing in my life I was confident about with no reservations.
Maybe it was because my inspiration for writing songs for other people was always outside of me. This song was different. I was allowing myself to be vulnerable. For Skyler. I knew it would pay off because vulnerability drives emotion. That was always something I told the artists I worked with.
Be vulnerable.
Be genuine.
People respond to that, and when it happens, it’s a beautiful thing.
The rest of Skyler’s band was here with me, waiting for him. Rhys and Rush were toying with their guitars, and West was knocking his sticks on the couch to the beat in his head.
Over the past few weeks, I’ve enjoyed Rhys and West. Rhys was a young southern gentleman through and through. He tried calling me ma’am for a minute and I had to nip that right in the bud. West was funny; he always had a good joke and liked to keep the air light. Both of them are going to go really far in this business with their talent and ability to work well with others.
Rush, however, was a major thorn in everyone’s side. He was always complaining, making snarky comments under his breath, and came across as intentionally uncooperative. I’d said nothing to Skyler about it because, like Rhys and West, my goal was to work together to make the best album possible, even if that meant managing a prima donna.
