“What?” I said, not sure I’d heard her correctly.
“Let’s move in together,” she said grabbing my hands earnestly. “I have the money now, and I want to start a new life with you. We can get a new place together, and I can finally finish nursing school.”
I didn’t have to think twice. “Let’s do it.”
Rufus barked in agreement.
I unbelted her robe and ran my hands over her naked body, which was still damp from the shower.
She bit her lip, looked up at me and said, “So, now that all that prison stuff is finally behind us, do you want to go to the bedroom and play with the handcuffs?”
