“I’m so glad to be out of that facility. Thank you.”
“As am I, but I’d rather forget about them for now.” He said through the inky black. “Right now, I just want to feel you clamped around my cock.”
“My mouth or my pussy?” She climbed over his naked body, her hands skimming over his toned muscle.
“Which ever. You won’t find me to be too choosy.”
She smiled. She tried to put some distance between them but he was calling her back, again and again.
Dryke felt her crawl up his body some more before her hot little mouth landed on his flesh in a kiss. She began kissing her way across his chest.
“Can’t get enough of me?”
“Try as I might.” She groaned. “Sadly, you’ve infected my mind and my body.”
“I can’t say I’m sorry.”
She chuckled lightly, her hands and mouth continuing to explore his body. He could feel her soft body pressed up against his cock and it didn’t take long for it to respond. He thrust his hips, pushing his length into her belly.
“Need me?”
“I will always need you.”
Her body was made to pleasure him. It was perfect, and he had no intention of letting her go. Never.
Suddenly, he slipped them over so he was no on top.
“Let me shower you with passion.” Before she could respond, he flicked a claw out and ripped her shirt down the front, and he found her braless. Good. That thing only got in the way.
Leaning down he crushed his lips against hers, as his fingers found her nipple, tweaking it between his fingers. Her scent wafted up to his nose, enticing him and driving him on, completely senseless. Now they could have sex without doom lingering over them. This time it would be without any external stress.
Dryke bit her lower lip and pulled on it lightly.
She growled at him, and his heart skipped a beat. She was perfect for him.
He captured her lips again as his hands roamed down her body to her pants. He quickly undid them, then he slid down her body, his feet landing on the floor. Then he gripped the hem of her pants legs and whipped them off of her body.
“Oh!”
“I need you naked for this next part.” He grabbed onto her ankles and dragged her down the bed, then flipped her over onto her hands and knees. “I want to take you from behind. I want to hear our flesh slapping together and feel your breasts bounce with every thrust.”
“Yes!” She panted enthusiastically.
He moved the strand of underwear out of his way and shoved his cock into her heated core which was already slick with her wetness.
“I love how ready you always are for me.”
“You turn me on.” She moaned as he continued to thrust into her from behind.
One of his hands reached out and grabbed a handful of her hair, thrusting her head back and forcing her to arch her back, making her entrance easier to penetrate as deeply as he could.
His other hand landed on her ass, delivering it a hard blow.
She sucked in a harsh breath before uttering, “Again.”
Dryke smiled into the darkness around them. “Good girl.” He smacked her ass again, her buttock jiggling with the force of the blow.
He pulled on her hair harder as his hand worked around her waist and began to play with her clit. He could feel mini orgasms flicker through her as her senses were assaulted on all fronts.
He continued to ram himself to the hilt, his balls slapping up against her. As she came, her velvety insides clamped down around his cock. This might be the last time he had sex with her for a long while, and he wanted to mark her as his, to make sure she never forgot about her Vrak’rir mate.
“Oh yes!” She panted her back arching more as she began to clamp down around his cock, her body rocking with her orgasm.
“Take me!” He roared. “Take all of me!” He lost himself and began pumping her full of his seed, shooting it deep into her as her tight sheath continued to pull on him eagerly.
He collapsed over her as she continued to shudder under him.
Dryke kissed her neck and extracted his cock from inside her, which was harder than ever. He loved having her warmth wrapped around him.
He laid down on the bed and pulled her up into his arms.
“You’re so addicting.”
“Thank you.” He stroked a hand over her back. “I hate to end this blissful period between us, but we need to talk some more.”
“Mmm hmm.” She said as she snuggled her face into his shoulder.
“I have found a client and plan on leaving tomorrow to do the job.”
He felt her freeze against him.
“How long will you be gone?”
“As long as it takes. You said you needed space, and I want to give you that.”
She was silent, and he wondered what was going through her mind.
“I want to make sure you know I don’t want to pressure you into anything.” Dryke ran a hand down her head, smoothing her hair. “I don’t understand what it is to be mateless, but I can understand needing time to adjust to a new way of living.”
“I’ll come with you.” She blurted so fast he almost didn’t understand what she’d said.
“On the job?”
“Why not?” She turned her face so she could look up at him. “I’ve done nothing but live on Earth and hear horror stories about space and aliens. Sure, my start in space may have been rough but I was abducted by humans, not aliens.” She shrugged. “For all I know I won’t be any safer on Earth if humans are kidnapping other humans.”
“You’re sure?”
“I want to do something spontaneous for once in my life. I want to explore what our lives have to offer.” She raised a finger between them. “But there is one condition.”
“What is it?”
“Before I was kidnapped I was on a girl’s trip with three other women. I want to find them and make sure they are safe.”
“I can do that.”
“And,” she kept her hand raised between them, “if they need rescuing that you will rescue them.”
“I can make that promise.”
“Then I will join you tomorrow.”
Epilogue
Natalie didn’t care that she was covered in sweat, she needed to hold her babies. It’d been a long nine months. She’d remained at the Daen’su space station while Dryke had gone off to do a job after they’d deemed it too dangerous to risk her life.
“I want them.” She raised her arms and reached them out towards the Daen’su nurse who currently held her two babies. They’d been just minutes apart, but she wanted both of them.
“Here you are.” The Daen’su came to stand beside her as she reached eagerly. “Fold your arms, and I will place them there.”
Natalie did what she was ordered to do and the Daen’su nurse placed them both in her arms. Two light blue baby faces looked up at her, and her heart melted right there. She was smitten.
“Sir! You can’t go in there!”
“I’m the father!” Someone hollered at the top of their lungs. “Get out of my way, or I’ll go through you.” The same person growled.
Her heart puttered in her chest as she looked up at the room’s door. That voice… Dryke was back from his latest job.
“Let him in.” Before he killed someone.
The Daen’su nurse nodded, her silver hair swirling around her shoulders. As she opened the door it was pushed in and in stormed Dryke.
“Dryke!” Natalie smiled. He’d been gone for a couple of months on this past job, and she was eager to see him once more. Her eyes skimmed over him. He didn’t look changed. He was still tattooed, blue, and absolutely gorgeous. She’d… missed him while he’d been gone.
“I tried to make it in time for the delivery, but I hadn’t been able.”
“I’m glad you weren’t.” Birthing new life might be awesome but it was messy, and she was glad he’d missed that part.
“These are…” He tr
ailed off as his onyx eyes fell on the babies in her arms. “My,” he held a hand to his heart, “…I love this. My mate and two children. I couldn’t imagine being luckier.”
Her heart swelled.
“May I?” Dryke held out his hands, and she immediately nodded. Leaning forward he gently scooped up one of the babies. He dangled a clawed finger in front of its face, and she heard a gurgling laugh.
She couldn’t help the smile that formed on her face. “How did it go?”
“We found two of the three girls.”
“Which ones?”
“Avery and Bailey, but we couldn’t find Reagan.”
“We have to find her.”
Dryke glanced up from the baby in his arms and sent her a reassuring smile. “We’ll find her. We won’t rest until we do.”

Chapter 1
Olivia found herself unable to fall asleep on her new lumpy bed. She’d been tossing and turning for nearly an hour, and she was ready to call it quits on getting any shut-eye. This was only her first week on this research station, and she wasn’t used to the hum of the technology all around her.
She’d recently spent a couple of years on an alien planet in a log cabin to study the wildlife. It had been the best time of her life. She loved roughing it, away from bothersome technology where the only sound was the hum of bugs at night. So, the hum of machinery was intruding on her pleasant dreams, and she found it hard to block it out.
She rolled over on her bed again and stuffed her head underneath her thick pillow, but that only seemed to cause the hum to grow worse like it was coming from the metal frame of the bed.
With a sigh, she threw her covers off of her in frustration, swung her legs off the side of the bed and rose from her bed, grabbed a robe to wrap around her body, and proceeded to make her way to the ship’s mess hall. Maybe an evening snack would help her get drowsy enough to sleep. It was definitely worth a try, and if all else failed, she could just get some more work done.
She entered the mess hall only to stop short.
Right in front of her, she found a couple of other women already sitting at a table with a hologram of an alien standing nearby. These women were part of the team she’d recently joined. She’d decided to join a survey of the primitive aliens living on the planet below them. It was an all-woman team, and that was part of what had drawn her to the study. She’d never had the opportunity to work with an all-woman team, and she was eager to see what they’d discover together.
The other part that had drawn her to the study was the position of the planet. Planet X-37625 was on the edge of explored space and as far from Earth as she could get. Not that she had anything against Earth, but it was starting to make some powerful enemies, and this seemed like the safest place to sit it out until things calmed down a bit.
Recently, the ambassador to Earth had been kidnapped. It was alarming to hear that someone who was so well protected had been abducted, and it made everything that was happening seem that much more real. She didn’t even want to think about the Sri’thaens and the threat they were posing to humanities existence.
But she didn’t have to worry about any of that now. She was doing what she loved, studying newly discovered species on the edge of explored space. No Sri’thaen vessels would come out here any time soon.
Olivia was the newest team member, so she was eager to befriend the people she’d be working alongside. This was her chance to lead her own team since she’d been appointed the team leader of this project. She’d gladly put up with the hum of the research vessel to experience this fantastic career opportunity.
“Glad to know I’m not the only one who isn’t sleeping.” She called out, as she grabbed a bowl of popcorn sitting on a counter in the mess hall. Finders keepers she figured.
One of the women she’d met earlier in the week, Sophia, glanced up. “Grab a seat.” Sophia tossed her a warm smile and patted the seat of an empty chair nearby.
“But this might not help you sleep. Rather it might give you a whole new reason to stay up.” Another woman winked at her.
Sophia elbowed her. “Seriously, Emma?”
“What? It’s true!” Emma grabbed a handful of Olivia’s popcorn, as she plopped down in a seat near the other women. “Don’t you agree?” She pointed up at the hologram on the table.
Olivia’s eyes widened, as she looked up at a hologram of an alien man. “Are those the inhabitants below?” She raked her gaze up and down the man’s form.
She hadn’t yet seen what information the team had gathered on the planet below. Being the team leader was more about organizing and getting things done, then actual hands-on work. It would be different than anything else she’d done before, but she was up for the challenge ahead of her.
“Yes.” Emma purred, as her eager green eyes skimmed over the shimmering hologram on the table.
Olivia had to admit Emma was right to appreciate the sight in front of them. These aliens might not have any technology more advanced than an obsidian blade or fur tent, but they sure excelled in muscular bodies that would make a woman dream and drool.
“Who’s this?” Olivia asked, her interest piqued as she looked at the hologram of the alien male.
“We think he is the leader of the clan we’ve been studying. He appears to head a lot of ceremonies and hunts within the clan.” Sophia informed her. “Or he could be a shaman, but unlikely since we already think we’ve identified the clan shaman.”
Olivia shivered, as she studied the well-defined image in front of her. The leader might be attractive, but she never wanted to meet this alien in real life. He had to stand taller than six feet, with black claws instead of fingernails, golden eyes, and black lines flowing all over his tan skin. This was definitely not an alien one would want to mess with, because he was born to be a predator.
“Are those black lines on his body like the tattoos of the Vrak’rir?” She asked as she dug her hand into the bowl of popcorn and popped a few into her mouth.
Vrak’rir were one of the most intimidating aliens Olivia had ever seen, and they’d tattoo their bodies with black ink to show their position and triumphs in their society. Anything they thought was worthy of appreciation would be tattooed on their massive blue bodies.
“Nope. It’s just part of their skin. They developed to have two tones of skin. We’re betting it’s so they can blend into the shadows of the rainforest better.” Sophia explained. “Kind of like how animals have stripes and dots on their bodies.”
“So, no importance when it comes to their position or achievements in life?”
“Not that we can tell.”
“Flip to the next one. Flip to the next one.” Emma chanted eagerly hopping in her seat with excitement.
Sophia followed Emma’s instructions and flipped to the next holographic image. Yet another alien male appeared, and this one was smiling, showing off a huge pair of upper fangs.
“Dear lord. They’re built for a fight, aren’t they?” Olivia’s eyes widened, as she took in the intimidating form of the alien in front of her.
“Yeah. They look pretty scary, but we haven’t seen them interact with other clans yet, so we aren’t sure if the
y’re peaceful or warlike.” Sophia chimed in.
“With all those muscles, would anyone think they weren’t warlike?” Emma asked as she stole some more popcorn from Olivia’s bowl.
Olivia frowned and moved the bowl to the other side of her seat. Emma was going to eat all of her popcorn if she wasn’t more careful to protect it from her teammate’s eager hands.
“What’s the family life like?” Olivia asked as they flipped to an image of a woman. The women were just as tall and muscular with fangs and claws to match their male counterparts.
“That’s where things get weird.” Sophia raised a finger in the air. Her eyes took on an interested gleam. “There are strong warriors without a woman, yet there are weaker members with a woman.”
Olivia pursed her lips. “That is strange.” Usually, the stronger men would get at least one woman to reproduce with since a stronger male should attract more females to him because he should provide them with the fittest offspring. Which meant the weaker males shouldn’t have any females.
“We still have yet to figure that one out, but we hope time will end up telling us some more about their culture.”
“Too bad personal invisibility cloaks aren’t being produced yet.” Olivia smiled at them. “Then we could get an up close and personal view of their lives by going down on that planet and watching in person.”
Emma winked at her. “Or spy on all those sexy men.”
Sophia rolled her eyes behind Emma’s back, and Olivia let out a bark of laughter. Emma was insane if she thought these men were appealing.
“So, what about the men with a woman? Are they faithful or do they move on to other partners after some time?” Olivia asked, changing the subject away from sexy alien men. She was more interested in facts than daydreaming.
