What She Didn't See Page 10

by Heather Wynter

  Four years after Rome

Going into the lecture hall, Grace took a seat in the first row. She looked around and chatted with the man who sat next to her. There was an old couch and an end table at the front of the room, which had been set up to resemble the living room of a house. It had been four years since she had returned home from Italy, years of healing and figuring herself out. Now she was ready to start her future.

Someone started speaking loudly in the back of the room, loud enough to gain everyone’s attention. The instructor had entered at the top of the bank of seats. “Good morning. After three years and making it through three years of law school and the recruitment process, I would like to be the first to say …” She knew the voice and smiled as she turned to watch him walk down the stairs. He turned and looked at her, pausing for a slight second. A faint smile broke through his cool gaze, and without breaking stride, he continued speaking.

  Enjoy This Book?

You can make a big difference.

Reviews are the most powerful tools in my arsenal when it comes to getting attention for my books. Much as I’d like to, I don’t have the marketing budget of a New York publisher. But I do have something much more powerful and effective and it’s something that those publishers would kill to get their hands on.

YOU. A committed and loyal bunch of readers.

Honest reviews of my books help bring them to the attention of other readers. If you enjoyed this book I would be very grateful if you would take just a minute or two to leave a review.

  Thank you so much.
