I looked up at Archie; we didn’t have any problems choosing a name. It came so easily to us both. “Graham,” Archie answered. “Graham James Reed.”

Every time I write a new story, I include something from my own life. So, here’s a little personal story: Layne’s experience giving birth is much like my own. My son was born via emergency cesarean. Even though I was awake, I have no memories of that moment. Instead, I remember hallucinating aliens jumping out of the wall as I was wheeled back to my room and telling my husband, “Holy shit! We have a baby?” When I held my son for the first time and attempted to breast feed, I started signing “Lady Madonna” by the Beatles because I was still pretty high. I wanted to include this personal part of my life in “Dear Mr. Temporary” because I still struggle with not having any memories of his birth.

And every time I write a new story, I think to myself: this is my favorite one. Well, I definitely feel that way about Archie and Layne. Archie is just so damn sexy and sweet! Every time I worked on this story, I fell in love with him over and over. I hope you did too!

I am incredibly grateful to authors of the Matchmaker series for their support, encouragement and comradery. I absolutely love being a part of this collaboration group! I’ve never felt more inspired to write and create!

I’m also incredibly lucky to have an amazing and supportive husband who encourages me to achieve what we call “baller status” because one day, he hopes I’ll become his sugar mama.

Thank you to Kim Loraine for asking the collab group if we wanted to switch to man chests and to Tracy Lorraine for creating such an amazing cover! This might be my favorite cover!!

To all of my friends – thank you so much for your continued support of my crazy dream, for listening to all of my plot ramblings and for being some of my beta readers!

Jenny Sims – Thank you for another amazing edit! I’m so grateful that you fit me into your schedule to work on my projects.

  Resolution: Wanderlust

Rebecca Gallo was first indoctrinated into the romance genre by her babysitter who watched hours upon hours of daytime soap operas. She harbored many inappropriate crushes on fictional characters including John Black from “Days of Our Lives,” Orry Main from the Civil Was mini-series “North & South” and Edward Fairfax Rochester from Jane Eyre. She is still hopelessly in love with Davy Jones of The Monkees.

Rebecca currently resides in Arizona with her husband, son and tuxedo cat. When she isn’t swooning over book boyfriends or finding inspiration for her next romance, she can be found teaching surly teenagers about literature. Or eating tacos.

Note from the Author: I love hearing from my readers!!
