  Tum-tum-tutu-tum! Tum-tum-tutu-tum! Tum-tum-tutu-tum!

Tum! The rhythmic sounds ended on a single beat that resounded throughout the area, as the Ghoulfiends who were dancing along with the previous sounds and occasionally sending strands of dark fiendish aura had now collapsed onto the floor devoid of all forms of energies.

Janus who had been holding his head down before the Orckusfiend Matuk was now chanting fervently, his eyes glowed with excitement as he looked at the final rune that was on the verge of condensing.

Vaguely, a hint of ridicule could be seen on the face of Janus as he glanced towards the area of the Matuk's earth rending battle occurring at the distant wilds. He lifted his head high as he roared towards heavens, "Let there be, Ascension!"

Ping! Swoosh! The final rune that had been struggling to condense for a while had now formed within an instant. Quickly, a rush of unknown energies had started to swarm towards the plain white or rather, now multi-colored pillar that had begun to emit a mysterious aura.

Phewww! As if it couldn't wait any longer, the small crack in the heavens had instantly expanded by a mile sending out towering star-like energies that had now blanketed this section of the world. While most of these energies had been sent towards the pillar, a small fraction of them had been scattered across the sky sending ripples of its terrifying prestige throughout the Central Regions.

Within the Unknown Zone, on top of the floating landmass that faced the endless golden horizon.

The gigantic entity that had remained seated calmly as it occupied most of the landmass looked towards a different section of the endless horizon.

Upon seeing a small batch of heavenly light rose up in the distance, it raised one of its brows in surprise as it spoke in a towering voice, "Eh? The Ascension Pillar's light? Someone has been quite laborious I see..."

Inside of the divine looking palace behind the gigantic entity, within the man palace room, seated on top of a golden throne. The beautiful woman who had been resting now open her resplendent eyes once again.

Her eyes gleamed with a tinge of reminiscence as she spoke, "This brings back memories..." As she closed her eyes, the figure of a middle-aged man that had dark green hair with white streaks on both sides appeared. He looked towards her with gentle eyes before speaking in an inaudible voice and soon after vanishing.

Soon, this divine grade beauty had once more fallen asleep, as she rested on her throne that watched over all things….

Within a dark gorge where light found it hard to reach, a dark shadow stood silently as it peered into the horizon gazing at the new-found light found within its reach.

It spoke in a puzzled manner, "Emm? Heavenly Ascension Light? Who could be ascending?"

Its voice trailed away into the wind, that flew towards the distant zone across the endless horizon...

The Situation Changes! Vying for the Pillar!!

Abright light shone throughout the heavens, as a star-like channel had begun to rise from the Pillar within Matuk's tribe towards the mile-wide gap in the cloudy sky. Instantly, this section of the Endless Rain Zone became devoid of all showers creating a strange scene.

The battling Matuk, Aras, Undevis, and Regalas who were now quite a distance away from the tribal camp were stunned as they saw this scene.

Matuk realizing something was strange and frowned, he quickly thought of a possibility and soon his face became filled surprised then anger. He pressed his feet against the ground and launched himself into the air soaring towards the distant tribe.

The ground that was below his feet had instantly formed a depression for a few hundred meters due to the force at which he propelled himself to the skies, creating a devastating aftereffect.

BOOM! The distracted Regalas and Undevis had been blasted away because of the sheer force of Matuk's jump. However, they quickly recovered as Regalas twirled himself in the air forming a cyclone that cushioned his fall while Undevis merely became one with the earth before recovering to his feet.

Aras was the only one left unaffected as he hovered a few feet off the ground and scrutinized the strange occurrence before his eyes. After a few moments of thought, his eyes quickly became filled with greed as he zeroed in on the pillar that was connecting with the heavens.

He yelled, "That pillar is mine!"

Swoosh! Like a beam of green light, he shot towards the pillar at full speed reaching a small distance away from soaring Matuk.

Regalas and Undevis seeing their movements also promptly reacted, as Regalas turned into a black cyclone that cut through the wildland while Undevis swam at high speeds beneath the earth as if it was a streaming river.

"Che! These damn bastards, when I'm done with that Janus and have taken over that pillar. I will grind each of your bones to ashes!" Matuk cursed underneath his breath as he glanced towards the tribe with a harsh light in his eyes, his battle-axe gleaming in a baleful light as he soared through the air.

Within the tribal camp, the pillar was now fully saturated by the energies from the heavens and runes on its surface. Finally, it created a semi-transparent channel that beamed into the sky connecting to the mile-wide gap.

A few star-like lights could be seen shining within the channel. A small white doorway had formed at the base of the pillar which was located at the very central position in Matuk's village.

Janus seeing this scene before his eyes was excited as he lifted his head and laughed while moving towards to the doorway, "Kekekekeee! Matuk! Matuk! You stupid Orckus, the Ascension Pillar's Blessing will now be mine! Once I've gathered this Ancient Inheritance, my cultivation base will skyrocket towards the peak making me invincible in this section of land!"

"I want to see how you will beg me to spare your life?!" Janus said with a cold light shining at the depths of his eyes, he quickly arrived before the pillar’s doorway carefully stretching his hand towards a barrier of glowing white light.

However, before he could touch the door, there was a change.

  Whoosh-whoosh-whoosh-whoosh!

The sound of an object revolving at high speeds soon sounded throughout the area, as if it didn't need any time to cross the distance it was flung from; it quickly arrived behind the form Janus with a sharp light reflecting from its edge.

Janus feeling death was literally upon him cursed, "Shit! How could he get back so soon?!" He jumped into the air as he attempted to avoid the axe attack aimed for his life. A pity though, for the axe was too fast.

Slash! Puff! Following a slicing sound, a geyser of dark green blood splattered across the ritual altar. The now legless figure of Janus could be seen falling to the ground from the sky.

Thud! "Arghh! Damn you Matuk!" Janus roared as he fell onto the ground while holding his severed legs.

Soon, the figure of Matuk was seen descending from the sky as if he had just taken a big jump from quite a distance away.

Bam! His landing fall creating a crater that shook the earth as the fallen Janus was forced to bounce back once more into the air. Matuk seeing this promptly rushed forwards with a light push of his feet causing his body to jump slightly.

He then reached his hands out to grip the neck of the now vulnerable Janus, as Janus saw this, he realized that death was now moments away. A determined light shone in his eyes, as he chanted in an odd tongue, "Re-tuas-val-seck!"

Soon, his body started to expand strangely.

Matuk who was now directly in front of him swiftly grabbed his neck with both arms as he prepared to wrench his body into the two pieces. However, he soon noticed the strange bulging phenomenon of Janus’s body. Instantly, Janus’s once slender and skinny form had now expanded to a size like that of Matuk.

"What the hell is this?" Matuk said in confusion, but the approaching Aras who was now about to enter the tribe looked at this scene in shock as he exclaimed, "Where did this Ghoulfiend learn an Annihilation Class Magic?!"

/>   Piiiiiii! Soon, spots of bright green light could be seen erupting from the body Janus as he looked directly into Matuk’s eyes and shouted, "Die with me! - Annihilation Magic - Self Destruction!"

"Damn you! Jaanuuuusssss!" Matuk finally realizing how foolish he was, cursed in a loud voice.

BOOOOM! A massive explosion soon erupted within the region of the tribal land. It scattered for a few hundred meters destroying all thing within in its range. Oddly enough, only the glowing pillar and the aged ancient constructions had remained unphased.

The pillar stood proudly with its transparent channel reaching all the way to gap in the heavens, as its doorway now continued to shine in a bright, appealing light.

The severely injured form of Matuk was now on his knees before the doorway, his once mighty looking arms now non-existent with half of his face blasted to pieces. However, due to his immense vitality, he could still manage to keep his life even if it was only for a certain amount of time.

He looked towards the doorway right before his eyes with desperation as he willed for every part of his being to move and touch the white light. A pity though, his enemies had other plans.

"Hahaha! Matuk as a courtesy for allowing this one to achieve this legacy. I will not kill but allow you to witness my rise to glory!" the voice of Undevis said as he appeared directly from the ground beside Matuk and rushed towards the white light.

"Hmph! As if I'd let you get your way, Evees-Cage!" A bright green cage appeared around Undevis body, as he was suspended in mid-air right before Matuk's form. The hovering form of Aras soon after arriving before both individuals and preparing to touch the white light.

However, a black cyclone instantly appeared from a distance and collided with Aras sending him crashing into one of the tall ancient constructs.

Bang! As this boom rang out, a depression of Aras’s body was now seen within the walls of the construct. Soon, the figure of Regalas appeared from the cyclone walking towards the white light of the doorway, he looked back and mocked the trio, "Gya-gya-gya! Thank you all for your hard work..."

The trio seeing this cursed out loudly, as they were now too far away to do anything. However, as Regalas was about to enter the doorway, there was a new change.

"Oh, so it was truly the Ancient Ascension light. I'd never thought I would see the day of this pillar being used again. Good-good! I've been stuck in the first cycle of the True Soul realm for quite a long period already, with this I should be able to advance by leaps and bounds!" A soft, seductive voice said.

Very soon, the form of a beautiful woman that was 3 meters tall was seen floating at the summits of the sky. She had long flowing water-like blue hair, with a cyan blue scale objects covering the most private sections as they melded with her being. She wore a dress made of blue plants and skin from unknown animals with a blue crown at the top of her head.

Her eyes were sharp and cunning with a flirtatious gleam shining within, that hid the deep and profound wisdom that laid at their core. Around her was a group of similar looking females but they were smaller in size compared to the queen.

As the fiend tribe leaders saw this woman appear, they couldn't help but exclaim in shock, "The Aqua Nymph Queen!"

As if she was only just now noticing the creatures below them, the Aqua Nymph Queen frowned as she spoke, "A dying Orckusfiend, and three lower-class trash, how dare try to take this queens treasure? Death!"

A strange power spread out from her 'True Soul' that swept across the forms of Aras, Undevis, and Regalas. Within an instant, they vanished as if they didn't exist, they did not even have the chance to cry out in pain.

The dying Matuk who could barely infer the scene around him felt a wave of terror in his heart, soon the voice of the Aqua Nymph Queen could be heard directly inside of his head, "Emm~ Yum-yum! Poor little Orckusfiend. If only you weren't broken so badly, this queen wouldn't mind having a little 'fun.' A pity, sigh... oh well, I will spare your life and let you die on your own since your time is already limited..."

As she said this, she started to glide from the sky towards the glowing white doorway that was before Matuk. However, before she could arrive at the door, there was another change.

Swoosh! The figure of a lifeless looking wolfman could be seen soaring through the air towards the doorway at a terrifying speed as if he was tossed towards the entrance by some powerful figure.

"What?! How dare you try to snatch this queen's thing?!" The Aqua Nymph Queen roared in anger as she pointed her finger towards the soaring pale skinned wolfman.

Piii! A powerful blue strand of energy shot out from her finger that instantly hit the figure of the Wolfman. It then carried the wolfman towards the distance where they both collided with ground resulting in a massive blue explosion.

  KABOOOOOM!

A massive dust cloud rose up in the distance, which revealed an endless abyss that traveled towards the unknown reaches of the Gloomy Forest. The Aqua Nymph Queen smiled as she saw her handiwork, but soon she became shocked.

Crackle! A scarlet-golden streak lightning shot from a hidden location inside of an ancient construct within the area of the tribal altar, almost within an instant it arrived before the form of Matuk.

Shing! Shing! Quickly, two blurry streaks of sword light flashed across Matuk's body leaving behind only their lingering sounds, as the beam of scarlet-golden light swiftly vanished directly through the doorway.

Matuk seeing the form which swept pass him could only sigh to himself with endless regret as he thought to himself, "Sigh... so in the end. It turns out that you were the one who was the architect of my downfall. You... damn... hu---man...."

Soon, his view of the world began to change as he started to view the world from upside down. He could now see his headless body diced into sections that were being burned by an unknown flame, after a short while his vision became scorching red and his consciousness faded for all eternity.

Blaze! The Aqua Nymph Queen looked at the figure of Matuk that was now burnt to ashes as the bright white doorway had vanished from existence causing the pillar to glow a scarlet-golden light.

"Damn! Human---!" The Aqua Nymph Queen yelled with anger as her beautiful eyes grew red, the powers of the world turning chaotic due to her current state of mind.

Quickly, the world started to change color as a dazzling blue light eclipsed all in sight...

  Chapter 91

  An Ancient Inheritance?!

Adazzling blue light covered all that was in sight as a terrifying power spread out across the land. The Aqua Nymph Queen's silhouette was seen at the core of the light while her body was undergoing significant changes.

Her body started growing, becoming a few times more substantial with a large water curtain robe that surrounding her form. Her crown had begun to glow with special looking blue runes, and the scale-like objects on her body's private sections had started to shine in a dazzling cyan light.

With her skin being similar to that of a peerlessly beautiful human female, her current form had undergone an even more seductive change. A view that could never be forgotten.

Within her left hand was a massive conch shell. A strange weapon but one could instinctively tell that it was a weapon that should never underestimate.

The Aqua Nymph Queen looked at the bright glowing pillar before her and yelled, "Small human! I hope you're ready to die!" A cold look shining in her eyes as her hatred for the Feng Yu who entered the pillar's doorway reached its peak.

She put the end of the conch shell into her mouth and started to blow, as she blew her fingers would dance around the holes that placed at individual sections of the conch creating a strange, melodious and entrancing tune.

  "♪ ♫ ♪ ♫ ♫ ♪ ♫ ♪ ~" A string of musical notes flowed out from conch and assaulted the pillars star-like channel.

Bang! Bang! Bang! A fierce collection of booms rung out loudly, but the white barrier easily and efficiently blocked all of the strange powers behind these
odd musical notes.

The Aqua Nymph who saw this became even angrier, but she did not lose her reasoning.

"Human, thank your lucky stars that my entrapment notes aren’t able to bypass this ancient time barrier, for once I start with you, I can promise you that you'll be begging me to stop. Humph! I also do not believe that you won't come out, I will capture you then I will go and find that damn little girl who escaped my grasp recently..." The Aqua Nymph Queen said with a dangerous and determined look in her eyes.

As she was lost in her thoughts, the pillar that was now glowing with a bright scarlet-golden light had once more started to change.

Phewww! Instantly, a streak of red light with the figure of a red-haired youth was now seen beaming through the channel towards the gap in the cloudy heavens.

Inside of this channel, one would see clusters of star-like lights shining and flickering at each corner. These lights gave off a different kind of feeling as if they had traveled from a distant space to momentarily become a part of this realm.

Feng Yu upon seeing the world around him was shocked as he said to himself, "I didn't think stealing this inheritance would be so interesting. To think that I'd be able to see the rare energy of star force up close? If I were a star force practitioner, I would advance by leaps and bound simply by being in this channel. Eh? What's this all about?!"

Feng Yu exclaimed in surprise because as he soared through the clusters of star force energies traveling towards the gap in the heavens, there would be strands of energies that would linger around his form as if all-star force in gathered in this contained channel were attracted to his body.

"Why are they attracted to me? Could it be because of my half-step Supreme Tier Aura Pulse? Or is it something else?" Feng Yu pondered but realizing that he couldn't figure it out, so he tried not to pay too much attention to it. His figure ascended to the limits of the channel with clusters of star force surrounding his entire being.
