Standing at the center of these fiends was a red-haired youth who calmly looked at the scene around him, his hair would sway in a disordered manner because of the strong winds caused by his opponents rising auras.

After a bit of time, he spoke in a calm tone, "So, they are Bluehuff Fiends. A rare fiend class among lower-class fiends. Hmm, based on their auras they are about 4 Tier with the strongest among them being a 7 Tier of Aura Disciple. If this is so, then the battle abilities of these Elite-class and Elder-class 4 Tier fiends should be similar to 5 Tier and 6 Tier Aura Disciples respectively. However, that 7 Tier Variant Bluehuff Fiend is no weaker than an initial stage True Foundation realm expert... the information provided by this thing is quite handy at times."

Feng Yu said as he glanced across the information shown before his eyes on a familiar interface, as he skimmed through the report, he couldn't help but notice a series of notifications:

"Sabotage Matuk's Tribe Rituals - Mission Complete Awarded: War Points: 10000."

"Kill the Orckusfiend Matuk - Mission Complete Awarded: War Points: 50000."

"Hunt a Nymph Fiendkin - Mission Complete Awarded: War Points: 2500."

"Hunt a Ghoulfiend - Mission Complete Awarded: War Points: 1000."

"Hunt an Elite Ghoulfiend - Mission Complete Awarded: War Points: 2500."

"Hunt a Sub Terranean - Mission Complete Awarded: War Points: 1000."

"Hunt an Elite Sub Terranean - Mission Complete Awarded: War Points: 1000."

  "....................."

  "Total War Points: 257000"

"Who knew I'd have killed so many fiends and accomplished so many War Commands in just one go!" Feng Yu said with surprise seeming to have forgotten the enemies that were just about ready to attack him.

He quickly cleared his distracting thoughts and looked at the Bluehuff Fiends before clenched his fists as he spoke, "Since you're all ready to go, why wait? Come! Allow me to test my current battle strength."

As he said this, the Bluehuff Fiend Leader grew even angrier as he shouted towards the unit and commanded, "Break his legs and bring him to me alive!"

  Swoosh! Swoosh! Swoosh!

The figures of the Bluehuff Fiends that surrounded him blurred as they galloped towards Feng Yu at alarming speeds leaving behind ghostly trails of blue flames with every step taken. Their eyes glowing with blue flames that left streaks of lights behind them as they charged.

Feng Yu seeing this smiled, without using battleform he called upon the thunderblaze aura within his Dantian.

Within his body, a sea of endless thunderblaze aura had blanketed the white void for miles upon miles. This aura was condensed to extend that they started to glow with a brilliant light many times stronger than auras of a similar scale.

Aura Disciple, the true beginning of cultivators. It is the stage where the practitioner must focus on gathering energies to be condensed into aura. The higher the condensation, the stronger the practitioner and more devasting their attacks.

This stage ranked by the levels of auras one has managed to condense from essence-energies, which is as follows:

10% to 100% Condensation which is similar to 1 Tier to Peak 9 Tier Aura Disciple.

Once a practitioner has fully condensed a massive amount of essence-energies into that of the maximum number of auras their bodies can hold. Then it would be time to create their Foundation Cores, advancing into the stage of True Foundation realm...

The vast sea of auras within Feng Yu's body started to churn as power began to rise at a rapid pace:

  10%... 20%... 25%... 30% Condensation!

Bang! A terrifying power broke free from Feng Yu's body as his hair rose above his head as if defying gravity, Feng Yu then gripped both of his swords on his back while leaning his body forwards as he pressed his foot against the ground causing the scorched earth to deform.

"While my current cultivation stage is now that of a 3 Tier Aura Disciple because of those previous energies. The quality of aura that I have condensed greatly exceeds that of one at the same level, making my base strength..." As Feng Yu thought up to here, his form then vanished into thin air.

Zap! As if time slowed down, a red streak of lightning beamed across all of the assaulting enemies quickly making its way to the opposing side of the Bluehuff Fiends. In moments, Feng Yu's figure soon materialized from the streak of lightning with his back facing his enemies and both of his swords held in his hands.

He then continued to speak, completing his previous words.

"No different from that of a 6 Tier Aura Disciple's, Extremity Dual Sword: Path of Speed: Thunder Flash Phantom Swords!" Feng Yu muttered silently as both of his feet touched the ground. As this happened, time once more resumed and a sound soon resounded throughout the region.

Shiinnnngggg! A long drawn out sound of a sword cry echoed as a black line starting from Feng Yu's previous position ending at his current location had formed for a short moment before vanishing as if it was an illusion.

If one had looked carefully, they would have noticed that before the line vanished a few silhouettes of Feng Yu had appeared before the forms of each of the galloping Bluehuff Fiends.

These silhouettes then swung their swords at the now slowly moving fiends with blur-like slashes, some across their heads, some across their torsos while other were across a few of their legs. After a few moments of continuous slashes, the silhouettes then started to disappear along with the trailing black line of light that appeared at Feng Yu’s current location.

Puff-puff-puff! A series of bloody noises sounded through the area as all of the Elite Bluehuff Fiends had been sliced into two sections leaving behind a few deeply injured Elder Bluehuff Fiends that exclaimed in surprise.

"What?! How can he be so fast?!" One of the injured Elder Bluehuff Fiends shouted in shock.

"Forget about his speed, look! His strength is nothing more than a 3 Tier Aura Disciple, and he already has the battle power if not comparable slighter better than us of the Elder-class!" another Elder Bluehuff Fiend yelled.

"First Layered Battle Power! There's a human capable of achieving strength at this stage without a battleform?" The Variant Bluehuff fiend Unit Leader thought to himself in surprise, but soon, his face became filled with raw killing intent as he thought once more, "No matter what this cost this human must die!"

Bang! "Enough gawking! Do not bother to catch him kill him where he stands!" The Variant Bluehuff Fiend Unit Leader commanded as his energy started to rise towards its peak.

"As the Unit Leader Commands!" The Elder Bluehuff fiends replied as they reached for the crossbows on their backs and loaded it with arrows ready to shoot Feng Yu.

Feng Yu who had his back turned to all of the enemies looked back with a pitiful look in his as he muttered, "Now that I have a good understanding of my current battle strength, I will no longer hold my true strength back. Do not blame me, blame the world for making our kind enemies from the start..."

As Feng Yu said this, his hair started to rise above his head as a golden aura covered his body. Soon, his long hair turned complete golden with bright streaks of thunder that danced across a few hair strands. Odd symbols of a flame divided by a thunderbolt formed on his forehead with a dark-golden eye shade that formed around the corners of his now golden eyes.

If one looked around his naked body, they would see a few wisp-like flames that danced around his form as if he turned into a deity of fire that bred life into all fires in the world.

A few abstruse golden markings had formed on his bare chest while on his back was a design of a phoenix and a dragon wrapped around each other like yin and yang.

Bang! Upon completing his new battleform, a terrifying pressure soon erupted from Feng Yu's body as a brilliant golden aura of thunderblaze energies swept across the area that blew away the figures of the Elder Bluehuff Fiends causing them to smash into the ground and later disintegrating.

The last survivor of the Bluehuff Fiends being the Unit Leader looked at the nak
ed entity before its eyes, not with shock, nor fear but instead, awe. A kind of appreciation a simple lifeform would give to a being that existed on a different scale that stood before them.

Feng Yu's golden eyes swept across the scene before him with indifference as he glanced at the form of the Variant Bluehuff Fiend and lifted his finger causing a group of terrifying thunderblaze energies to gather.

"What is your title? Human..." The Variant Bluehuff fiend asked in a tone filled with acceptance.

Feng Yu hearing his words thought for a moment before replying, "Call me... Thunderblaze..." As he said this, the energies that gathered around his finger had reached their saturated point causing a bright golden energy to cover the region.

Pheww! A beam of thunderblaze auras shot towards the Variant Bluehuff fiend who merely closed its eyes and accepted its demise.

As if it didn't need time to cross distance, it instantly collided with the Bluehuff Fiend Leader carrying his form away into the distance before smashing into the ground.

BOOOM! A massive explosion soon erupted from the distance of a few hundred meters with thunders and flames scattering about randomly created a devastating scene.

"It seems that my strength in battleform is completely beyond what I expected, now my strength is no weaker than a Pseudo Third Layer Bloodline Prestige." Feng Yu said in a slightly excited tone.

He then turned his back to the doomsday scene and willed for a new set of clothing to appear on his body. As soon as this happened, the shockwave of the distant blast quickly reached this region causing his hair and robes to flap wildly before him as if a storm was behind him.

He then walked outside of this destroyed section of the Gloomy Forest towards the parts where rain continued to fall endlessly.

  ∞ ∞ ∞

  Chaaaaa!

The remainder of the Gloomy Forest was as dark as always with the rain falling with no end.

A well-placed assortment of rocks stood silently within this region. If one looked carefully, they would notice a strange section that seemed to have been covered recently.

However, it was arranged skillfully with the moss of grasses covering the rocks making their appearance meld perfectly with that of the environment.

  Splash! Splash!

The sound of someone stepping in water puddles added life to the region, as a red-haired youth soon appeared from a group of nearby shrubberies walking towards the entrance of this hidden cave.

Soon, he arrived before the mossy rocks and tapped it periodically for a few times.

Rumble! After a short while, the rocks slid away as if some unusual array controlled them. The youth then promptly entered the cave while tapping the wall behind him once more causing the stones to seal up the entrance of the cave.

Walking for a while the youth soon appeared before cocoon made of white hair that glowed in a soft light illuminating a small part of this dark cave, he walked beside the cocoon and looked at it for a short while before speaking.

"Your Invisibility Artifact has aided me greatly, like I promised I will now fulfil my part of the bargain and help you to recover your strength..." Feng Yu said in a soft tone he then touched the surface of the cocoon which caused a strange resonance to fill the area.

Soon, a familiar female voice could be heard.

"Thank... you.... remember... you... must... use... the.... a...q...u...a... p...e...a...r...l... "As she said this, her voice then faded as she once more fell into deep sleep.

Feng Yu send his spiritual sense into the cocoon and saw that the small girl had now grown to the size of a 12-year-old female who had fallen into a deep sleep again.

"Sigh, yet another dangerous mission! I barely survived the last one and completed it due to sheer luck. Now I have to go to an even more dangerous place." Feng Yu complained to himself, but soon a firm look into his eyes as he spoke softly, "It can't be helped I guess, for debts must be repaid..."

Upon saying this, he gripped his fist firmly as he looked towards a specific location of the cave walls.

As if his vision could travel across the walls the scene began to stretch soon traversing the vast Gloomy Forest, across the distant mountains, towards a dark looking palace that rested on top of a tall mountain amongst mountains.

Crackle! Zap! The thunders rumbled throughout the heavens as lightning bolts descended towards world causing all beneath the sky to feel oppressed. The dark looking palace remained firm in this weather, its dazzling blue barrier protecting it from all forms of danger as it toweringly overlooked the Endless Rain Zone...

  Chapter 100

  __

  The New Palace Guard!

As the harsh rain fell onto the grounds beneath these gloomy skies, the earth became shrouded by a dark mood. A few reasonably organized low-class fiends, as well as force beasts, were carrying out a bloody battle within these lands that was a little distance away from a gloomy looking forest.

Splash! The sound of blood splashing across the muddy, wet ground resounded as a powerful looking fiendkin ripped a force beast into two pieces before lifting its head to roar in a barbaric manner, "Huuaaaaa!"

A few other fiendkins couldn't help but frown as they complained their discontent towards this fiend's behavior.

"Sigh, he's at it again..." One of the fiends said while sighing slightly.

"Che! When will he learn? The palace inspection unit will not select you based on how flashy you are, it’s all based on your actual skill!" Another of the fiends said in a mocking tone.

As he spoke, the figures of a few well-armored fiends with blue colored scales appeared within the area. They glanced around at the results of combat indifferently and sent their fiendish sense into a few odd-looking spheres as if recording something.

"The batch for new palace guards this time is pretty useless," said one of the armored examiners as he glanced around at the fiends.

"Em. It looks like more than half of this bunch have failed this simple assessment. I don't even know how these guys were capable of being called fiends," replied the other armored examiner.

"Petwei~! A bunch of Low-class trashes!" One of the guards said as spat on the floor with his eyes filled with disdain.

"Eh? Who is that?" One of the examiners asked as he pointed towards a strange looking fiend at a distant corner.

A peculiar looking fiend with slender body physique carrying two rare swords on its back, it had distinctive red hair that fell below its back and wore primitive and broken armor from different sets of equipment.

Looking around his figure, one would notice a group of corpses belonging to different types of force beasts.

"Him? Ah. I forgot you've just arrived here. He's a pretty unique one..." The other examiner replied in an ambiguous tone.

"Oh, really now?" The examiner remarked with a tone of interest as he focused on the strange fiendkin.

Suddenly, the strange fiendkin moved as it turned into a blurry shade that flashed across the training battle area. He irregularly swung his sword as if trying to merge himself with the falling rain displaying a stunning set of swordplay.

  Shing! Shing! Shing!

The cry of sword resounded throughout the training field as the blinding fast swords of the red hair fiend accurately sliced apart the drops of rain that continuously fell around its form creating a small section that was devoid of rain.

"Ah!......" The questioning examiner exclaimed with awe as he saw this scene, he then looked towards the companion beside him and spoke, "It looks like we have a new good seedling, his cultivation base is only 3 Tier Aura Disciple, but his battle power is leagues above that maybe he is an upcoming middle-class fiend."

"Un. Palace command will certainly be pleased," The other examiner replied.

After a while, the battles had come to an end at the different training areas. The examiner seeing this then clapped his hands towards the now tired group of guard candidates.

Clap! A powerful shockwave spread out through the area bring a stop t
o the idleness as well as the swordplay of the red hair fiend.

"Examination over! All of the names on the list will be coming with us to the palace. There, you'll formally become a part of the guardsmen unit of Palace Command," After the examiner said this, he tossed the sphere in his hand towards the void.

Piiii! A bright light soon erupted from the sphere followed by a large water screen with a list of names, the selected fiends who saw their names pumped their fists with excitement while the unselected fiends began to leave with their heads held down.

Feng Yu nodded his head as he saw his alias on the list, he thought to himself, "So far, so good. Now, I only need to enter the Dark Palace. As once I'm there, things will become a lot easier."

Upon saying this, he began to sheath his swords in their scabbards on his back while he thought to himself, "It's been a rough two weeks since I left the Gloomy Forest, and it took me quite the effort to trick these examiners. Hmm, my cultivation still hasn't fully consolidated from that mass breakthrough. It seems that I'll probably need about a month before I can start advancing again..."

"Since this is the case, I'll try to refine my sword realm instead. If I can achieve true Sword Intent, then my battle power is sure to rise once again." Feng Yu muttered to himself, as he finally sheathed his weapons.

Feng Yu then walked towards the location of the selected guard candidates, as the examiners swept their gazes across Feng Yu a hint of excitement shone within their eyes before vanishing.

"Let's go!" As the examiner said this, he snapped his finger causing the water curtain to spread out and wrap all of the selected guard candidates along with the examiners. After a short while, the water curtain shrunk and turned into a standard water drop that shot towards the sky vanishing within the sea of dark clouds...

  ∞ ∞ ∞

Zap! The thunders rumbled through the heavens as bolts of lightning streaked across the sky, a dark looking castle towered above all things as it stood at the peak of a mountain. It was a broad palace with a width that spanned a few kilometers and a height that stretched to heavens.
