Its face was vicious, with its large mouth drooping with dark purple liquids that burnt away the floor upon touching it. A poisonous mist wafting throughout the area as a few of the closer Aracnians instantly break down into a mass of puss and liquids despite their innately hard carapaces.
As it saw this, the large Aracnian that remained indifferent decided to let its presence be known, lifting its head high it the air and releasing a battle cry to prepare for its lunch, “Screeeeeeeaaaaaakkkk!”
Its loud cry shaking the void, as all who heard it knew that the time had come for a truly gruesome end to long fought battle.
Myria who saw this being couldn’t help but try to exclaim, “A... A...” but Zyne came to rescue to aid in finish this exclamation, “A Royal Blood Rank 5 Aracnian Queen! Shit! Everyone break formation, run towards the passage exit! With! All! Your! Might!”
Myria who had now awoken also yelled towards her fairies, “Quickly! Flee!”
Swoosh-swoosh-swoosh-swoosh!
Following a series of colorful flashes caused by exquisite techniques and few bloody flashes used by people who had instantly burnt their blood essences all of the natives had vanished from their locations as made their way towards the nearing passage. It was a truly splendid scene, as the thousands of lights soared towards the same direction at maximum power.
Feng Yu who wasn’t too far behind also used his very best, but he could only pass by the weaker True Foundation realm natives as the ones above this level had all vanished into the distance.
Zyne seeing that Feng Yu couldn’t keep up frowned, he looked towards Myria and waved his hand telling her to cover the group for him as he rushed back with his heavy steps taking him towards Feng Yu’s figure in a few seconds of time.
After he reached Feng Yu’s location, he grabbed Feng Yu by his collar and tossed him along with Jing Mingyun who tightly wrapped around his back towards the head of group.
Swooosh! Like a rocket that had escaped the rules of space, Feng Yu’s body instantly arrived before the group of retreating natives soaring towards the exit at alarming speeds. Zyne’s figure once more vanished, appearing not too far away from Feng Yu’s soaring figure.
The Aracnian Queen who had now finished her roar finally started to move, her body instantly vanished as if its massive form was never within the space from the beginning. Soon, the scene within the room began to change as if it was warping space and time itself became confused unable to properly different distances as a few of weaker army natives had also found themselves unable to go forwards no matter how fast they ran.
“Not good! Dao Strand of Hyper Velocity!” Zyne exclaimed as he quickly lifted his glowing bright hammer, his eyes glowing in a strange light that seemed to be to slow down all things in a sight. The blindingly fast blurry shade of a massive creature was swiftly making its way pass the army stragglers who were too slow to even notice anything causing them to become trapped inside of a warped speed realm.
It was so fast, that it seemed that in no longer than a few seconds it will arrive at the exit of the spacious field. Zyne’s hammer than was raised then started to glow in a different kind of light as he spoke in a sad tone, “Sigh... now that it’s come to this... I have no choice do I... Since it is so, I will use my last strand – Dao of Radiance: Bright--! Domain!”
Buzz! Following a loud sound, the world changed. The Bright Hammer within Zyne’s hand expanded at a speed that cannot be described, as a power beyond the limits of this world’s inhabitants spread outwards esclipsing all things in its range. This light was different as it had strange star-like particles at its core, that pushed away all creature’s target by its source.
The Aracnian Queen seeing this grew angry as she was now almost within Zyne’s and Feng Yu’s vicinity, she screamed while releasing poisonous liquid from her mouth that rained across the entire space. It was a pity though, for the light from the Bright Hammer pushed all of the liquid away from the natives towards the army of Aracnians on the opposing side instantly turning them in a mass of puss and melted-down fluids.
The stragglers who were also caught with the warped region of space due to the Aracnian Queens hyper velocity realm were also melted down into liquids not even given the chance to scream in pain, a truly graceful, but vicious death.
Soon, the lights receded as the figures of Zyne, Feng Yu, Jing Mingyun, Myria, and the rest of the native groups had all but vanished from the spacious room leaving behind a destroyed passageway the led upwards towards the higher unknown of this pathway.
All of this took time to describe, but in all truth, it occurred in no more than a few seconds. As the moment when the Aracnian Queen had finished her battle cry, she vanished instantly appearing before the army soon after followed by a bright light that flashed and vanished in the blink of an eye along with the figures of the army, leaving behind the extremely angered Aracnian Queen and masses of liquids that remained on the floor.
“Screeeeeaaaakkkkkkkkk!” Her angry yell resounded throughout the world shaking up the entire pathway, as she smashed and smashed against the hard rocks pulverizing everything in sight.

On the other side of the path, the group continued upwards. The figures of the surviving members could be seen hurrying forwards with a brisk movement, Feng Yu carried Jing Mingyun on his back while moved like lightning up the seemingly endless path that continued to go upwards to no end.
“Haa... Haa... that was a close one...” Feng Yu said as he continued to move upwards while he cached his breath, layers of sweat running down his forehead as he had exerted his very limits in trying to escape the previous dangerous scene.
Jing Mingyun who was on his back helping his wipe his sweat as she spoke in a soft tone with a vague look of excitement on her face, “I haven’t had such a fun experience in a long... long time... it reminds me of when father used to carry us through ‘Chaotic Void Realms’ stumbling into traps and those odd beings...”
Zyne and Myria who far ahead head had great ears, as they still heard her words, they looked at each other with a stunned look in their eyes as only they knew full well what those kinds of realms were like in the past, “That crazy man...” They thought to themselves in unison as they continued to move forwards.
However, as her words were directed to Feng Yu who had no idea what she was referring to, he could only smile wearily and keep it at the back of his mind as he calmly replied, “I see...”
Jing Mingyun hearing his words smiled as she knew he was confused, but she did not explain anything choosing to leave it for the future. It was now that the roar of the Aracnian Queen was heard followed by the rumbling of the passage way.
“Everyone, keep moving forward and don’t slow down! We should arrive at the exit in a few days if we keep this pace!” Myria said as she noticed a few of the group had started to grow mentally unstable due to the sound.
Not bothering to reply, the group continued onwards as their figures vanished up the path like streaks of light that travelled towards the unknown.
Chapter 121

The Fairyland! The Chosen’s War Command!
The path upwards was a very long one but it eventually came to an end. After a few days of constant speed travelling, a bright light source soon became visible. To their eyes it looked like a blinding light of hope after too long in the darkness.
“L… light! Lightttt!” A native said with tears in his eyes as he rushed forward at speeds surpassing many, his new-found adrenaline giving him a burst of energy. The large group who marched upwards felt excited as they saw this scene.
Quickly, they picked up their pace as they rushed towards the exit of the passage. Feng Yu and Jing Mingyun who saw them also promptly followed toward the exit.
Swoosh! A gentle wind swept across their faces rustling their hairs as a scene that had long been lost to this eternal gloomy zone had once more appeared before their eyes. A blue sky, with a few straggling clouds, with a sun that beam
ed its wondrous rays onto the green earth and luscious fields.
The life source energies within this area was its peak, fully saturating the region with its energies. Thus, causing the plants to grow with vibrant colors and a magic presence that lingered around their forms. If one looked closely, they seek a few sprites dancing around these plants and scattered around the fields.
Far ahead these fields were a group of tall ancient trees that grew to alarming heights, with leaves bigger than hills as they scattered across the distant horizon of blue sky. Feng Yu, Jing Mingyun, Zyne and Myria could be seen standing at the broad edge of a tall mountain, one that over looked these worlds from the summits of the sky.
Their hairs flowing with the rising winds that swept across the mountain, behind them stood the excited survivors of the hell path who now gazed towards the horizon with brilliant light in their eyes.
“Such a marvelous sight! Your clan’s array techniques are amazing!” Feng Yu said as he looked towards Myria.
Myria hearing his words replied, “This is only an old array created back in the origin of this section of the Radiant Woods, our arrays now are far more advanced.”
Feng Yu hearing this nodded his head with an interested expression then looked at Zyne, Myria, as he gently gripped the hand of Jing Mingyun placed on his shoulders while speaking, “Shall we continue our journey?”
“With pleasure! Forward!” Myria said in a tone filled with excitement, as a fairy they were used to flying around and playing, being trapped within a prison for a few years and then going through such an ordeal had quickly dampened not only her’s but also her clan members’ moods.
Swoosh-swoosh-swoosh!
Like beams blurs they soared across the vast skies flapping their wings in excitement while Zyne, Feng Yu and others jumped off the edge of the mountain their hairs dancing behind them as they descended at a rapid pace. Using the slope to control their rates of descend as they jumped from one tall rock to another quickly making their way towards the ground.
Another week quickly passed, and after journeying through to depths of the later parts of the Radiant Woods, the allied army had now come across a broad precipice made from the branch of a towering large ancient tree whose branches and leaves also reached out to the heavens as it blanketed a portion of the sky from all underneath.
As they stood at the edge of this massive tree, they gazed at scene that could only be described as breath taking with dazed eyes. A wonderous sight, as a vast lake filled sparkling waters spreading out for hundreds of kilometers.
A palace made of water could be seen at the center of this broad lake with crystal-like passages and structures made from the sparkling waters. A few areas of the palace itself, seeming to have water falls that flowed from is edges causing ripples in the glistening lake below.
Clusters of small adorable female creatures with cicada-like wings flew around this water palace, their wings glowing in the hue of the sparkling waters creating an even more beautiful scene as they patrolled the area. The younger fairies were playing in the lakes in a seemingly carefree manner.
The army having seen this scene couldn’t help but have a more joyful mood, as they felt the pain of their travels and past prison experience slightly fade away.
“A truly beautiful scene...” Feng Yu muttered, Jing Mingyun who was on his back also replied, “Un. It seems that even in under punishment, fairies are capable of remaining cheerful to a certain degree...”
Looking past this scene and around this palace of water, one would see and odd halo that spiraled above the palace glowing in a strange light as it pulsated a unique kind of force to those below its covering.
“The Grand Halo... we have finally made it here. Welcome...” The slightly excited voice of Myria said as she looked towards the halo with watery eyes.
Feng Yu, Jing Mingyun, Zyne and the others remained in silence as they looked at the Fairy Princess who was expressing her happiness at returning to her abode. Myria whose tears fell down her cheeks finally continued her words as she turned around with a big smile on her small adorable face and spoke, “Welcome to Fairyland!”
Her voice fading away with the rising wind, and rusting trees as the army slowly made its way towards a secret path on this precipice slowly vanishing into thin air leaving behind the calm and quiet scene.

The scene within the Fairyland was wonderous sight indeed, as the crystal-like pathways and structures of the palace only served to test the limits of nature’s ascetic capabilities. The light reflected from the grand halo hovering above illuminating the entire water palace, as the group made their way through the pathways they were stared at by the native fairies and a few other races who sought shelter in this place.
A few Dwarfins were seen seated in workshops crafting crystal weapons from odd water-like materials that seemed to have a life of its own, as the core allied natives of the fairy clan walked by the pathways through the regions of the palace in deep conversation.
It didn’t take long for word to spread that the princess had finally been rescued from the Dark Palace, the inhabitants hearing this rushed towards the path to see for themselves their stubborn and troublesome princess.
“The Princess is safe... buu... hu... hu...” A fairy collapsed into tears as she saw the princess successful return, a few other emotional fairies had also started crying while the more mature fairies managed to keep themselves together.
One by one they went forward and bowed to the princess as they spoke, “We welcome the princess!”
Myria seeing the scene before was used it so she did not blush in shyness, rather she felt a bit embarrassed since her being caught was due to her stubborn nature, her face was slightly red she spoke, “T... thank you all for coming to greet me!”
After she said that she then looked towards the group behind her and pointed her finger while speaking, “These individuals where the ones who aided me in my escape from the Dark Palace, please arrange for them to stay in the palace’s available guest rooms.”
“Yes, Princess!” A few of the fairies replied as they then made their way towards palace administration sector.
Myria then once more pointed on Zyne, Feng Yu and Jing Mingyun as she spoke with more emphasis, “These are the core of the rescue operations please arrange for them to stay in Palace’s main rooms. I will be heading to see my mother as I know she must have been worried sick, once I am done, I want you to arrange a banquet which will followed by a formal meeting for our future course of actions against the Dark Palace...”
“As the Princess wishes!” The remainder of fairies said as they made their way over to Feng Yu, Zyne and Jing Mingyun ready to guide them to their quarters. Myria looked back at them and spoke before leaving like the wind, “Take care we will meet later!”
Swoosh! Her body turning into a blur that soon vanished, Feng Yu and others seeing this scene shook their heads as they followed the fairies who led them to their private quarters.

Time flew by and soon it was night time.
The strange array seemed capable of replicating the scene of a colorful starry night sky as was now visible above the heavens. The glowing leaves of the trees only further added to this beauty along with the mystical atmosphere of the Fairyland that glowed with the lights being reflected from the Grand Halo.
At the top of one of the palace towers, on a wide balcony the figure of Feng Yu was seen standing at the very edge gazing towards the night sky and distant trees in the horizon. A deep look in his eyes as he thought to himself, “I wonder, are the others ok? Dai Lin, Lang Kuang, and... Miren...”
Upon speaking to her, the face of the Jade haired beauty couldn’t help but linger a bit in his mind before he cast it aside. He then recalled the looming battle on his shoulders with golden haired goddess, and her charming battle stance. Finally, he closed his eyes and recalled the scene the blossoming flowers and soft lips of white-haired beauty.
He o
pened his eyes once more and looked behind him into the room of the tower noticing the sickly sleeping beauty with white hair that rested on the bed, as he saw her he couldn’t help but think back to her using up her source energies as he spoke in a soft voice, “A man’s life is full of endless struggles, the struggles in path of a practitioners, the endless cycle of gratitude and grudges and finally, the affairs of the heart... sigh, I suppose nothing is ever truly free as we will always be bounded to something, to someone, or some group of things. It’s better to simply move forward, like a sword for instance, even though its purpose is to kill, the very same sword is capable of protecting the lives of those most important to us...”
Shinggg! As if he came across a new understanding, a sharp sound went off in his mind, as the way he viewed the world underwent an almost imperceptible change. A new aura now shrouded his being, but this change will only be noticed in the time of battle as currently even Feng Yu himself didn’t feel this change.
“Ah yes, that’s right, the scroll...” As he said this, he willed for the scroll to appeared once more within his hand causing a bright light lit up in the area. It was an odd scroll with a few mysterious words written on its surface, filled with aura from an ancient time.
Feng Yu inspecting the scroll couldn’t find anything strange, but soon, his information window appeared before his eyes.
“War Commands List – Updating....”
“1%... 5%...20%...”
Feng Yu seeing this became surprised as he thought, “What’s this? This scroll is updating the list, then I suppose this scroll was the cause for my previous odd change with the War Commands.”
He calmly watched the rising numbers of the updating progress which soon came to an end.
“99%...100%”
“Update Complete.”
As this occurred, the scroll that was in Feng Yu’s hand vanished as if it was never in existence to from the start. He looked at the new information shown on his screen with an expression filled with such a level of surprise that he couldn’t even control it if he wanted.
