Ride Me

“So, you’re saying you want me to live with another man?” I used the joke as a deflection.

“Don’t do that. You’re only making jokes ’cause you think I’m saying no.”

I shouldn’t be surprised how well he could read me, but sometimes I was. “You’re not saying no?”

“What I’m saying is, if Heath’s okay with it, then I’d love living with you.”

“He’ll be fine with it. He asked me not long after Harrison moved out if I was moving in with you. At the time, I don’t think either of us was ready, but we are now.”

The corner of his mouth lifted. “Look how far you’ve come. Hiding who you are to talk about moving in together.”

“Don’t tell anyone. I’d only do it for you.”

  “It better be only me.”

“It’s only ever been you since I was sixteen.”

Heat lit his eyes and I couldn’t stop myself from leaning over the table and stealing a quick kiss.

  Paparazzi be damned.

  EPILOGUE

“Goddamn, you need to clean up your shit.”

I glanced around the piles of papers and drumsticks lying all over the floor. The bus had been clean this morning when I got up. How in the hell did Sawyer make this big of a mess in such a short time?

“It’s just a few things,” Sawyer called from the bedroom.

“A few things?” I glanced around at the aftermath of a tornado. “You’ve got to be kidding me. You’re not allowed to let our place get like this. What makes you think the tour bus is different?”

A few months ago when Sawyer and I decided to move in together, ground rules were set. Heath and Sawyer had already been looking for a bigger house. One with almost two wings to the place, giving them each their own space. More shows meant more money. Not that I could blame them. A house was an investment.

Sawyer and I had gotten tired of having two of everything, or wondering at which house our stuff could be. We talked and sat down with Heath. Neither one of us wanted to ruin the plans they already started making. In the end all three of us decided to get a larger house, with enough room that Sawyer and I, as well as Heath would have their own space.

It took us a while, but we found the perfect place. All the communal areas were in the center of the house. Living rooms, kitchens, dining rooms. On each side of those rooms there was a hall that led to a set of bedrooms. Each side of the house had three of its own bedrooms, for a total of six. On our side I’d turned one of the rooms into an office, while Heath and Sawyer were working on having the basement remodeled into a sound studio. Heath and I even sat Sawyer down and explained that his nasty ass ways had to go. No more leaving shit out until someone else cleaned it up.

It worked at home. Apparently not so much here.

“Get out here and help me.”

I bent down and started shoving papers into a pile. Sawyer only really got this bad when he was close to finishing a new song. Something he hadn’t done in a while. Almost like his brain completely shut off to everything but the music.

“Fine,” he said, emerging from the back in just a towel.

Instantly, my dick went hard. Nothing about that had changed in the time we’d been together. One look at him and I was hard enough to pound nails.

“And you couldn’t get dressed before you came out here.”

He wiggled his hips. “Like what you see?”

I groaned and looked back down at the floor. “Don’t start. You have a show tonight and I have paperwork to file before that happens.”

He stood behind, grazing his fingers along my back. “You’re no fun.”

I batted his hand away. “Quit pouting, would ya.”

“Whatever.” He bent down and started picking up drumsticks.

“That’s the last one,” I said a few moments later as I threw an empty energy drink can into the trash.

Sawyer came up and wrapped his arms around my waist, letting his hard dick rub up against my thighs. Oh, hell yes! “How’s the venue looking for tonight?”

We’d been on the road for a few weeks, hitting city after city for the band to play. The crowds grew with each show they put on. I was so proud of how much they’d accomplished in such a short time. Another benefit happened to be my new job. It was honestly the job of my dreams. As a lawyer for the studio it was my job to make sure everything at each venue went smoothly and according to the contract they’d agreed to. I’d been shocked the first few days at the things the venues tried to sneak by when no one was looking.

The best part was I got to spend all the time in the world with Sawyer, traveling, seeing the sites, listening to them play and not being separated for months at a time. Everyone watched at how hard it was on Mari when Cole had to be on campus, which thankfully wasn’t often. Even though we spent years apart, now I couldn’t imagine not seeing each other for that long.

Sawyer bent over to grab a pencil that had rolled under the couch, and I couldn’t help but notice the way the towel stretched across his firm ass. Moving up behind him, I placed my hands on his hips and brought his ass back so it cradled my dick. He glanced back at me, fire in his eyes.

“I guess you do like what you see.”

I hummed in the back of my throat. “I like it a whole hell of a lot.”

He stood up and let the pencil slip through his fingers. I reached down and adjusted the erection in my pants, thinking about all the places I wanted to put it. Sawyer covered my hand with his. “How about we take care of that instead?”

I took a step closer. Our mouths mere centimeters from each other. “What do you have in mind?”

“Anything that requires us both to be naked.”

I took his hand, leading him back to the bedroom. My fingers slipped into the knot of the towel, letting it drop to the floor. Our mouths connected and all I could think was how lucky I was that I had this man in my life. The road was rocky, but every misunderstanding and secret along the way made us stronger people. That strength helped us to stay together when so many others would have given up. Somehow in all the years, I hadn’t seen it, may never have expected, but Sawyer was the one for me.

Every day I thanked the heavens for him kissing me that night. Sawyer was my one and only.
