He grinned and said, “Alright. But you do know what you’re getting yourself into by signing up for the long haul, right? What if I really did just commit career suicide by going public with the truth? Or what if people just get tired of what I do and stop buying my paintings? The money I made from my one-man show will run out eventually, and then what?”
“You were born to be an artist, and your work is way too brilliant to be ignored.”
He said, “Still though, you never know what might happen in the future.”
“Nobody does.” I curled up in his arms again and said, “But I do know our life is going to be an amazing adventure, and we’ll face whatever comes our way together.”
