Uncle Bob, I remember that, at my high-school graduation party, you asked me if I was going to college and what I intended to do with my life. When I explained that I was going to Bible college to study to be a pastor (like you), I remember you sat there and cried. Now, over twenty years later, I’m not sure if those were proud tears or compassionate tears because you knew what that decision would look like for my life; but I’ve never forgotten it.
