“Don’t tell me he is a micromanager.” Trish rolled her eyes.
“It’s not like that. He’s much more lenient than he used to be. To even be open to hiring some help is a big step for him. Tristan said he would never have done that before.”
“You make him a better man.”
“That she does…”
Savvon felt the heat of his body behind her as she reached to grab an item on the top shelf. He reached over her, his arm extending farther to grab what was just out of her grasp.
“You’re here,” she said, turning in his arms.
“Can’t miss Tuesday night grocery shopping. It’s where we met after all.” An easy grin slid across his handsome face.
“Hey, I had something to do with that.” Trish’s voice cut through their heat.
“Thank you, Trish,” they said in unison, not turning to look at the other woman. He closed the distance between them, locking lips with Savvon.
“I’m just gonna… Forget it,” Trish said, knowing neither one of them were paying her any mind, before they heard her cart roll away.
“I thought you had to work,” Savvon’s said, voice breathless from the kiss.
“I was going to stay, but I thought I’d just let the new guys handle it. I’ll test the code tomorrow. There is something I needed to get home for.”
Savvon had recently moved in with him into his HGTV worthy home. She’d given the place the female touch, also making sure the fridge was stocked with all his favorite items when she did her Tuesday night shopping.
“Oh, yea? Something, huh?” she smirked. “Let me guess...Sports Center?”
He barked a laugh. “Sports Center and beer can wait; I had something else in mind.”
“Do tell, Mr. Phillips.” She batted lashes at him.
“How about we pay for these groceries and get out of here.” He winked. “Does Trish need a ride home?”
“No, we came separately. I’ll just shoot her a text, and let her know we are headed out”
“You think she’ll be mad you left her at the grocery store on a boring Tuesday night?”
“She’ll be fine as long; she knows I’m going to have wild monkey sex with my man.” She grinned.
“Now that is the something I was talking about,” he said, as they made their way to check out.
