The Feast Page 26

by Rowan Bree

The demon has Vale pushed up against the wall. He pulls aside the mage’s robes exposing his backside. His fingers dig into the pale flesh leaving red marks. Vale moans.

Vale braces his hands against the rough stone wall as the demon enters him. You unable to look away as the demon takes Vale from behind. Vale may have been your keeper, but the goat-horned creature is his master. There is none more powerful.

You back away from the archway feeling jealousy rage through you. All you wanted was to rule with Vale. You helped him open the portal. You devoted yourself to him. How could he turn around and give himself to that demon?

You feel something grab your ankle. You fall backwards and hit your head hard. Everything goes black.

  Epilogue.

You take the opportunity to run. You don’t need to know what will become of Vale. You have been tossed aside, your purpose fulfilled. You are glad to finally be free but terrified of the future. You have to get out of Tyven.

By now the smoke has filled most of the room and is billowing out into the hall. You stay low and try to keep from being trampled as the guests stream out of the party. On your way out you yank down a portion of unburnt curtain and wrap it around you before stealing down the hall. No one seems to notice you in the chaos.

You have no idea where you are going and flee blindly through the castle. You think you see moonlight and find yourself in the garden Vale took you to at the start of the night.

  “Kitten.”

You turn to see Vale exit the castle. His eyes shine red and you can feel the power coming off him. He wears a crown of scorched bones. Upon seeing it, you find yourself kneeling. Its power is absolute.

  Epilogue.

You follow the staircase downwards. As you descend you feel a breeze from below that makes the torchlight flicker. The walls become rougher until they are no longer made of stone blocks but carved directly into the bedrock below the castle.

The staircase ends on a platform overlooking a vast chasm. High above is a small circle of night sky, and far below just darkness. Stalactites the size of mountains grow from the ceiling, some having long crumbled away but others sharp and formidable.

A rockslide echoes through the cavern and a rush of wind hits you. You make out a dark, hulking shape perched on an outcropping of rock across the chasm. It moves fluidly, circularly, coiling like a snake around itself, but you can’t make out any details.

Have you come to kill me or be killed?

A deep, velvety male voice fills your ears.

“Neither,” you call out into the dark, your voice cracking. You feel frozen in place, mesmerized. You couldn’t leave if you wanted to.

No one comes here by accident.

  “I did,” you reply.

There are no accidents, the voice replies. Not for us. Beings of magic are bound by inescapable fate.

  “What are you?” you ask.

The dark shape across the chasm unfurls itself. You see muscular, clawed legs and a ridge of spines along its back. Two leathery wings spread wide and fold back in. A dragon.

“I’m not a being of magic,” you say.

Oh yes you are. I can taste the power radiating out of you. It’s intoxicating. Dangerous. But you’re new to it, and you must learn how to command it. Right now it is like a beacon in the dark for those who would seek to consume it.

  “Like you?” you ask.

The dragon’s laughter booms across the cavern. I am not the mage. I do not seek to possess you, nor any creature of magic. He would have you in chains. He would have you serve him. Only I recognize what you are, and can help you become what you are meant to .

  “Why?”

Dragons have been subservient for too long. The age of non-magical creatures has ended, giving us an opportunity to live out in the open again. But it will take an alliance with the darkness to do so. You and I, presiding over the new world as equals.

You think about Vale. What is his place in all this?

Our critical time is drawing near. You must choose.

The dragon might be your only way out of here, though it seems he wants to usurp Vale’s position of power. However, there still may be a way to trick the dragon and become Vale’s queen even if you use the beast to get you out of here.

  Ally with the dragon.

  Refuse his help.

You follow the cobweb-covered passage until you come to a door inscribed with symbols and words in an ancient script you cannot read. You can’t make out any sounds beyond the door, but it isn’t exactly inviting. It looks like the kind of thing you would find in one of Vale’s old magic tomes.

  Open the door.

Go back the way you came.

“Teach me to use my power,” you say.

The dragon leaps off its perch and glides to your platform. It shakes the ground as it lands and you stumble backwards. Looking up at the fierce beast your legs start to shake.

Its scales nearly black, with a slight red iridescence that catches the wavering torchlight. Its eyes are a deep amber, intelligent and piercing. It lowers its head towards you and presses its scaled forehead to yours. The dragon is so much larger than you. You can feel its breath hot against your thighs.

Open your mind to me, the dragon tells you.

You try to relax and not think of anything in particular, but the image of the dragon swallowing you down whole fills your mind’s eye.

  Let me inside.

You focus on relinquishing your control to the dragon and immediately feel yourself flooded with a deep pulsing energy. It flows between you and the dragon, between your minds, unlocking the hidden reserves of your power and giving you the knowledge to wield it.

You stumble back gasping and flushed as the energy dissipates. The dragon sighs and circles around you like a snake, its snout touching its tail and you in the center. You feel safe and at peace, but also powerful. You feel you could bring the whole cavern crashing in on itself with a flick of your hand.

The next move is yours, the dragon says.

Your eyes wander down the dragon’s belly to the slit above its tail. There is a slight bulge there. Definitely male. The dragon’s heat is all around you.

Go take your place as ruler.

  Stroke the dragon’s belly.

You decide not to accept the dragon’s offer and tell him so.

Without a word, the beast leaps up off its perch and flies away through the hole in the ceiling of the cavern. You go back to the staircase and start the long climb up.

When you make it back to the forked corridor you are confused to find that the other pathway has seemingly disappeared. The path continues on in only one direction, the one which you came from. The cobwebbed fork lit by moonlight is gone, in its place an expanse of solid wall. With no other choice, you go back the way you came.

The corridor twists and turns more than you remember and you soon find yourself hopelessly lost.

You see someone ahead of you and hurry to ask them for help. At least, you thought it was a person but as you near it appears to be a tall, lean hound. It is growling and bearing its teeth. You stand motionless, watching as it transforms before your eyes into a tall, lean man then back down into a dog. The shapeshifter growls at you, its canine body lowering ready to attack.

You turn and run back down the passage. You can hear the dog’s nails scratching up the stones as it chases after you. The hound is built like a racing dog and is fast, much faster than you. You feel paws against your back and hit the ground hard. The wind is knocked out of you. You feel disoriented. You can’t breathe.

Human arms wrap around your body restricting your movements. The human form of the shapeshifter has a wiry, savage strength. He pushes up your dress and shoves your panties aside. You writhe underneath him fighting to keep from being violated.

The shapeshifter forces himself inside you, his human cock too long to fit all the way. He tries to push it in further against the resistance of your body. You ca
n feel your stomach bulging where he can go no further, and then an odd feeling of pressure as his cock slips against something deep inside of you. The feeling sends tingles through your body like nothing you’ve ever felt before.

You let out a low, deep moan and the shapeshifter moves his hips the same way again, the tip of his cock brushing against that new part of you and making the pressure build more. You can feel yourself drenching his cock in your juices. You grind back against him, craving that deep feeling of pleasure.

You pant and moan like an animal as the shapeshifter moves on top of you. Your body is covered in sweat and you can feel the delicious building, building, building of pressure and then your body is tingling all over, vibrating as it never has before. You feel release from your head to your toes, coming in waves and patterns through your nerves. You don’t think you’ve ever felt this before.

As the vibrations settle you feel a change in the shapeshifter. He is no longer bearing his weight on you, and it feels like there is a bulge at the base of his cock where there wasn’t one before. You try to slide his cock out of you, but it gets stuck around the bulge. You hear canine panting. You are too scared to look over your shoulder.

Every time you shift you feel a small aftershock of your deep orgasm, even knowing that the shapeshifter is no longer human. Finally you feel a tugging and a pop as the shapeshifter pulls out, followed by a warm flow of liquid from inside you. You hear paws on stone growing fainter until they disappear down the pitch black hall. Only then do you have the courage to fix your clothing and get up.

You cast your eyes away from the gleaming white puddle in the middle of the passage and continue forward. Hopefully there are no more horrors waiting in the dark.

You should have come to the exit by now, but still there is no end in sight to the passage. You try to stay calm, to keep quiet, but more creatures are lurking in the bowels of the castle. It seems you will be trapped down here forever.

  Epilogue.

You tell the dragon you’re ready and he kneels down for you to climb onto his back. You settle between the ridges on his spine and hold on tightly. He vaults into the air and you watch the ground grow further and further away as he ascends towards the little patch of sky up above. Soon you are flying through the star-speckled night.

You feel dizzy seeing the whole kingdom spread out below you, Tyven looking like a tiny village from this high up. The dragon swoops down towards the castle. It grows larger with alarming speed. He banks around one of the towers and lands on a wide stone balcony. Through the archway into the castle you can see a room full of nobles and Order members in their stiff black robes. Black curtains billow in the breeze from the open archway, and red candles fill the room with a warm glow.

You slide off the dragon’s back and step forward into the light.

“Kitten,” Vale says hurrying towards you. He looks over your shoulder at the resting dragon on the balcony. “What is this?”

“It’s the start of something new,” you say.

Behind Vale you glimpse more of the Order’s party. Many of the nobles are in various states of undress, occupying themselves with the shackled slaves both human and demonic that are apparently here for their entertainment.

Vale strokes your cheek with a gloved hand. “I was worried you wouldn’t make it in time. Are you okay?” He seems nervous, his violet eyes darting towards the dragon standing silently behind you. “You know how much you mean to me. How special you are. My kitten. My love.”

  It’s time, the dragon says.

A red glow manifests itself between you and Vale. You take a step back as the glow intensifies then dies, leaving a heavy collar floating in mid-air. The metal is black as the night and has a deadly shine to it.

  “What is this?” you ask.

There can only be one human ruler. Collar the mage.

Vale’s eyes go wide. He seems to panic, but only for a moment. You see a mask drop over his expression as he regains control of his emotions.

“Dear kitten,” he says. “This world is ours, together. Imagine what we can build with the help of the Order and the Old Ones. Dragons only serve chaos. Whatever he has promised you is false. Put the collar on him. Make him our slave. Do you know how powerful we could be with a dragon at our command?”

Time seems to have stopped, waiting on your decision. The dragon stands motionless, waiting for your decision. Vale too. You must be the one to act.

  Collar the dragon.

  Collar Vale.

You stroke the dragon’s belly, feeling his smooth scales beneath your fingertips. You continue downwards to the slit hiding his cock. The taut skin bulges and you try to imagine just how big he is. He would never be able to breed you but you could satisfy him in other ways.

The dragon laughs his baritone laugh and uncurls from you.

Now’s not the time for that. Let us show those mages who this new world belongs to.

He kneels down for you to climb onto his back. You settle between the ridges on his spine and hold on tightly. He vaults into the air and you watch the ground grow further and further away as he ascends towards the little patch of sky up above. Soon you are flying through the star-speckled night.

  “What is this?” you ask.

There can only be one human ruler. Collar the mage.

You grasp the collar ignoring Vale’s pleas for you to stop. He seems unable to move as you lift it to his neck and close it around him. Vale staggers to his knees, his head drooping as he clutches at the collar.

“Please mistress, be merciful,” he says quietly. His silvery hair obscures his face.

You look past him to the room filled with nobles and members of the Order. The fall to their knees, submitting themselves to your rule. A man wearing a crown steps forward and kneels. He places his crown at your feet.

You can feel the dragon’s will guiding your hand. You pick up the crown and walk to the balcony. You hurl the circle of gold and jewels into the night.

I believe we have unfinished business, the dragon says. You climb on his back and fly away.

  The dragon’s perch.

The dragon flies you to the top of the tallest peak of the mountains to the north of the castle. From there you can see the entire kingdom except the places obscured by clouds and the far reaches beyond the horizon. This whole land is now yours to rule. Yours and the dragon’s.

The dragon traces a careful claw down the front of your dress. The fabric cuts cleanly, falling away to expose your naked bo
dy to the night air. Your heart beats loudly in your chest as you lie back on the soft moss of the dragon’s perch.

The beast sniffs at you, his razor sharp teeth a hair’s breadth from your tender skin. His jaws open slightly and you wonder if this has all been a trick. Now that he has Vale in a collar he will devour you, leaving himself as the sole ruler of the new world.

The tip of his giant tongue slips out between his teeth and caresses your stomach. You tense instinctively, shivering as the dragon traces your stomach upwards to your breasts and back down to the soft cleft of your thighs. You wonder if he can taste the fear in your sweat, the arousal. You part your legs slightly to give him better access. His tongue flicks your pussy. Your fear eases a bit.

He lifts his head and you can see that his cock has come out of its sheath. The tapered tip of its head is as big around as your thigh, and its ridged shaft bulges out at its thickest to a wider girth than your waist. There is no way you are fitting that inside of you.

You stroke his scaled underbelly and coax him forward. He slides his massive cock against your naked body wet with his saliva. You can feel every ridge, every muscle of his magnificent member. You shudder with the thought of what something like that might feel like inside you. But you are not a dragoness and will never have that pleasure.

The tip pushes between your breasts. You flick your tongue against his cock hole, tasting for the first time the dragon’s essence. You feel so small, so inadequate to please such a beast. But the dragon doesn’t seem to mind. You can hear a low purr deep within his scaled chest.
