Lee bucked against her until he finished, releasing his seed into her. Then when he withdrew, he did the unexpected and turned her over onto her stomach. He leaned over and spoke in her ear. “I’m going to claim you in every way.”
A mix of fear of the unknown and excitement came over her as he spread her ass cheeks apart. She felt the wet tip of his cock at the rim. He massaged her cheeks, creating an erotic sensation that stimulated her clit as well. She wanted more. She felt his warm breath on her neck as he inserted the tip into her behind.
Her instinct was to tighten up, but she willed her muscles to relax. He went slow, moving inside her inch by inch until he could take small strokes. Violetta gripped the sheets as this new sensation flooded her senses. The more he moved and the more she relaxed, the initial pain and stretching gave way to heightened pleasure. He put his hands over hers and rocked against her.
“Lee.” She murmured his name into the soft pillow as he took control of her body in a way that was new to her and completely erotic. He moved a hand towards her front and pleasured her while he increased the pace. He stoked the fire again, his hand becoming slippery with her fluid. Violetta was on the brink of release as he massaged her clit. Her hips moved in time with him, chasing his hand.
“Tell me you’re mine.” She felt his fangs as he nipped at her ear.
Her fingers clawed the bed. “I’m yours.”
He lowered his mouth to the vulnerable, sensitive area of her neck behind her ear, where he nicked it gently and healed it immediately with the tip of his tongue. The orgasm washed over Violetta then. Her cry was muffled against the sheets.
She felt every inch of Lee’s cock when it pulsed. He seized her hips and thrust a final time as he released inside her.
Afterward, he pulled out and they lay on the bed for several minutes. She listened to the sound of his even breathing and thought he had fallen asleep. She turned to find him studying her with languid eyes.
“What’s that look mean?”
“I’m thinking about how we just wrinkled and ruined your new silk robe.”
“After what we just did, that’s what you’re thinking about?”
He smirked as he pulled the robe from her shoulders, damp from sweat. “I’ll get you a new one, though I think I may have to stock up on these at this rate.”
She rose from the bed. She saw his shirt on the floor and lifted it. At least three of the buttons were missing. “You can call it even.”
“Guess that means a last minute Christmas gift exchange.”
“Christmas?” Of course. Lee’s coronation took place last night. “I completely lost track of the time.”
“You’ve been through a lot. Don’t worry about it.
She nibbled on a cold cinnamon roll and glanced at the time on his cell phone on the nightstand. “Christmas is half over already. I hope you didn’t have somewhere to be.”
“Everything and everyone can wait.” He got off the bed and pulled her into the bathroom with him to get into the shower.
After they cleaned up, Violetta borrowed one of Lee’s dress shirts to go out into the kitchen to go fix a snack. “I always wanted to do this.”
“Wear a man’s dress shirt after having sex?”
“Cheesy, right?” She went through his dresser drawer.
He raised an eyebrow after he put on a t-shirt and lounge pants. “What are you doing?”
She held up a pair of pajama pants. “On second thought, it’s a little cold to run around your place with just a shirt on. Hope you don’t mind.” She put them on.
“I do mind. I’m going to turn up the thermostat so you can do the sexy woman in a man’s dress shirt look properly.” He opened the bedroom door and went down the hall. Violetta heard his voice a few moments later.
“Mother, what are you doing here?”
“Oh, Leeland,” Salome’s voice echoed. “I just got here. One of the valets let me up. Hope you didn’t mind.”
Violetta made sure the drawstring of the pajama pants were cinched tight before she left the bedroom. She went to the end of the hall and peeked around the corner to see mother and son chatting. Salome had a box from Bilson’s Bakery in one hand and a bottle of bourbon in the other.
“I wanted to surprise you with a fruitcake I found at the bakery across the street. The delivery boy is bringing up dinner in a minute.”
“You surprised me. I don’t exactly have the place prepared for company.”
“I’m your mother. There’s nothing you need to hide from me.”
Violetta stepped out from around the corner. Both Lee and Salome looked at her. Salome’s expression changed.
“Oh. I see why you’re not prepared for guests on Christmas.”
Lee didn’t miss a beat. “Mother, the bond between Violetta and me is now complete. She’s chosen to be my mate.”
His mother nodded, to Violetta’s surprise. “Well, I’ve always respected the blood bonding of vampire mates. But, young lady, you’re going to have your work cut out for you if you want to get back in the Bloodbound’s good graces. Not to mention gain our trust as a former slayer.”
“She’ll be fine.” Lee put a reassuring hand on Violetta’s back. “They will respect my authority. And as the new vampire lady of Briar City, they’ll learn to respect hers as well.”
Salome looked at the two of them before her gaze settled on Violetta. “I had a feeling my son really liked you.”
“Salome, about not telling you my identity...”
Lee’s mother waved the bottle of bourbon. “No, no. That’s in the past. My son has claimed you as his mate and I’m not one to get bogged down with old things.”
Lee was impressed. “It’s good to see you so cheerful, mother.”
“It’s Christmas. It’s time we all embraced a bite of cheer.” She headed for the living room. “There’s an afternoon marathon of shows on the Happy Home Decorating channel. Care to join me?”
Violetta looked at Lee and shrugged. “It’s either that or I’m finding a sweet romantic Christmas movie to watch.”
Her mate cringed and gave a sour lemon face. “Is this how it’s going to be now? I don’t get to choose what to watch in my own living space?”
“That’s just the start,” Salome called from several feet ahead. “Wait until you two start thinking about how to mesh your decorating styles.”
Violetta chuckled. Lee shook his head. “Will I ever hear the end of this?”
“Not likely. Looks like you’ll have sappy Christmas movies and home décor in your life to stay.”
He cradled the back of her neck. “As long as that means you’ll be around forever, I guess I can handle it.”
She kissed him on the cheek. “Merry Christmas, Lee.”
They went into the living room, hand in hand, to settle in for an afternoon of fruitcake and home renovation marathons, as well as an eternity of happiness to come.
