I wish I had somewhat deep thoughts at that moment. This whole year and my little meltdown at the church were signs that not only my life, but things in general needed a change. True, this was an expensive price to pay for the comfort technology could bring to our life. But I simply didn't want to be discarded aside like useless spare parts.
I resented that and I didn't pretend to be the change, but it was a start for me. I would start with my own little, useless life and see where it would lead.
I looked left and right, and spotted a nice stone. It was no pipe wrench but it would do. I went and kneeled beside the stone. I winked at the priest watching behind locked doors.
"It's time for a change." I shouted over the security drone's alarm.
