She was right. The Dragon could jump high, but when he tried to use his wings, he could mostly glide through the air, or just keep himself there for a few seconds before he fell down. And there were also a considerable amount of wounds on his body, even some of his tough scales were missing.
“Did he had a fight with another Dragon? Is that possible?”
“Dragons are territorial,” Nistry told me while Lillian struggled to keep her skirt in place. “Maybe this one made some trouble and ended in a fight with a stronger Dragon. A few books mentioned that kind of thing, because younger Dragons tend to be more hot-blooded.”
“I guess that the reason doesn’t matter, but if he is weaker than an older Dragon, can he still be called an S-rank?”
“Sure,” Lillian gave up, and entrusted her skirt to fate. “S-ranks have unimaginable strength differences between themselves. But even a weak dragon is still stronger than a top A-rank fighter.”
Just as I thought. “But how can we beat him?”
“If we wait until our new equipment is ready, I am certain that we could beat him.” Lillian was ready for a fight, even against a dragon.
“Really?” The sarcasm was evident in my voice. “At what price, exactly?”
All the girls had stoic looks, but not one of them said a word. The strength of my girls was in the range between C and B-rank. In other words, it would be a fucking massacre. All they could do would be buy enough time for me to launch a decisive strike.
“Forget about it,” I dismissed their idea and observed the lizard. “I need more data, I should send some of my zombies to see if I can figure out some strategy.”
“Leave it to me, God.” Akifa was eager to contribute, so she commanded a few dozen monsters which were fast, to run around the Dragon.
Now let’s see what he got. Hmm, OK, his right paw was injured, he couldn’t turn around faster than a Wyvern, his jaws were strong enough to turn a Vogor into minced meat with a couple of bites. His leg movements were still fast enough to chase a…
“No! Nononononono, no! No! Don’t… Aaaaa!” I covered my mouth, fell on my knees, and could only watch in horror the tragedy unfolding before my eyes.
Shit! Did I just screamed like a little girl?!
That… That… Freaking monster… He was going wild inside my precious ruins!
“He… He’s turning my ruins… Into ruins...”
“My lord, that sentence doesn’t mak...”
“Shh,” Lina put her hand on Nistry’s mouth. “Now is not the time.”
BAM! BOOM! CRASH!
“You…!” The beast crashed right into my castle, and I lost it. “I’ll fucking murder you!”
I send one of my Virsk birds towards the Dragon, and when my zombie was above his head, I opened a Portal on the ground in front of me and jumped in it.
The last thing I heard were the distressed cries from my cute wives. Then I landed on the Dragon’s head, stabbing at his cranium with my Trinity Spear.
“Aaarrrgggghhh!” The monster shook his head when he felt the pain, and I was sent flying to one side. I put the spear back inside my Storage before hitting the ground, and then I started running.
Crap, I acted rashly and now I have a killing machine going after me.
I jumped through a Portal and fell behind a ruined building some hundred yards away, just in time to see a curtain of flames melting the stones in the distance.
That was close.
Damn, my Trinity Spear was able to pierce the smaller scales on his head, but it just scratched the hard bone.
Ah, he destroyed more of my ruined property, and judging by the tremors, he was coming my way.
“Fuck!” I hastily jumped through another Portal when a wave of Earth Spikes approached my position.
He probably was able to sense my life force. Man, I will have to…
“Aaarrghh!”
Shit! The Dragon jumped and was flapping with his damaged wings right above me. When I saw his open mouth, and the flames gathered there, I started running again.
A heat wave engulfed me, and rubble rained from the air as I made my way through the old streets. There were chunks of stone covered in moss that I had to evade, while maintaining an Air Shield above my head to protect me from the raining debris.
Quickly looking around, I spotted a crevice beneath a massive stone and dived under it, putting the Air Shield behind me. The Dragon’s fire hit my Air Magic, but I was fast enough and opened another Portal, just as my magic broke under the immense pressure.
When I fell on the street, my hip hit a sharp stone, and I cursed. Thanks to Dr. Sam, my body didn’t suffer any damage, but it was still very annoying.
I got on my feet and run again, looking for a place to hide when the Dragon gives chase.
“Lord! I’ll buy you some time! Run!” Akifa yelled from the back of a Wyvern as she flew straight towards the dragon with two other zombies following behind her.
I came to a halt when I looked at my devoted undead mage and felt an enormous wave of shame washing over me.
Great, are you going to let your servant die for you?
Demon Lord? Ha! You are just a laughable piece of goblin shit.
Akifa turned sharply to the left when the dragon took notice of her. Then he stomped on the ground and Earth Spikes rose over fifty yards in the sky, impaling one of the Wyverns.
The dragon then tracked Akifa’s movements, and when she approached, he opened his mouth, ready to blast her with a fire attack.
Akifa panicked when she saw that she can’t turn her Wyvern fast enough, but then a small black mass materialized over the dragon’s open mouth, and a Water Ball hit the gathering flames.
“Aaaaggghh! Ahhhhgg!” The dragon choked when my Water attack came into contact with the flames, creating a huge amount of steam in his throat.
“Get away from that thing now!” I ordered with every ounce of dignity I could muster. “I have it all under control, but you must go back to the others this instant!”
“Yes, God!” Akifa turned around and flew back while I wondered what to do now. The dragon is extremely pissed, but I enjoyed watching him cough violently after that steam explosion. Too bad it didn’t blow his head off…
“Hey Crapster,” I walked to the mad beast and took a metal cube from my Storage. “I have a surprise for you.”
“Aaaaarrrggghhhh!” The oversize lizard rushed at me, but I escaped through a Portal, just as his jaws were about to crash me.
Click.
One… Two…
“Over her, moron!” I engulfed the cube with Air magic as the dragon turned his giant head in my direction.
Three…
He roared and started gathering flames in his throat again, while I prepared another Portal and threw the cube at him.
Four…
The item flew at high speed at the dragon and popped into his open mouth.
Five…
I GTFO.
BOOM!
“Aaaaarrrrrggggghhh!!! Aaaarrgg… Aaauuurrgg...”
I climbed on a pile of rocks and saw the beast stagger, blood spilling from his mouth with every cough. He sounded like he was a suffering a lot, but he was still alive.
Click. Click.
I used another portal to get closer to him, my Air magic enveloping two Exploding Cubes that I held behind my back.
“You missed me?”
“Aaaaaaaaargggghhh!” The dragon was furious when I teased him, but it was too bad for him that he had to opened his mouth again. Yeah, I get it. He’s mad. But weren’t dragons supposed to be wise?
“See ya!” I escaped again before the cubes exploded.
BOOM! BOOM!
“Arghhh… Ahhggghh...”
Amazing, the dragon was still alive. Although, it looked like he won’t last long. His big mouth was in shambles, and there were even a few piercing wounds on his neck.
“Finish him.”
My Wyverns flew over and attacked the dying monster like a bu
nch of hungry vultures. It was a bad thing that they will damage the body, but on the other hand, I wouldn’t be able to make him my zombie, anyway. I mean, just look at his size.
And all that power? I would need to pour double the amount of mana that I have!
To make a zombie, I need to do it from the first try, or the Dark Magic will dissipate before I can finish the spell.
“That was reckless!” Lillian reproached me when she and the girls arrived. It appears that they all rushed down here the moment I attacked the dragon.
The big guy was now lying motionless on the ground, in a pool of his own blood. The big wings were torn from his back, as well as his left leg, tail and head.
“Sad...” someone commented, and I had to agree. Just look at what he did to my precious ruins. I felt really sad thinking of all the money I will have to spend to build a brand new castle.
One thing at a time, I guess. Let’s Absorb what is left for now, and I will think of the rest for later.
“Holy crap!” The dragon had an incredible amount of life force. There was so much of it, that my body started hurting from all the power I was Absorbing.
But I didn’t want to stop. There is no way I will let any of this power dissipate, I will take as much of it as I possibly can.
“Done!” I fell on the ground and tried to hold desperately onto all the energetic life force that I just absorbed from the young dragon.
I took out my Status Plate while I was sprawled on the ground.

Wow! My Strength was S now! And my Fire and Earth Magic went up considerably, especially my Earth Magic. It jumped from D to B.
“What is that?” Lillian asked as her eyes were fixed on the bluish piece of metal. “It somehow feels… Nice...”
“I’ll tell you another time.” I put the plate back inside my Storage when Lillian’s fingers were about to touch it. Was she reacting to the plate like she did when I released my Dark Magic? It looked similar, so I should probably be careful around my second wife. Who knows how it may affect her if she did touch the metal. I would probably be able to see her status, like with Lina. But what if something more happens?
Risky.
“Akifa, come here!” I ordered, and the undead mage approached. I shifted in a sitting position, and when Akifa bent down, I put the third collar around her neck. “You did a good job.”
“Thank you, God!”
I ignored the overjoyed undead, and watched the destroyed ruins around me. A third of the ancient city was burnt, and more than half of ground was destroyed by the enormous Earth Spikes. This place was a freaking mess.
Estaria. It finally is mine.
