“Well, it seems the Lord of the New Glad would like to speak with us as well,” Lucas said, cocking his head to the side.

“Then let’s not keep them waiting, shall we?” Edward stood and placed Beth in front of him. “You will stay beside us at all times. Is that understood?” Edward looked down into Beth’s face.

“Don’t worry. I’m not up for round two, Edward.” She glanced back at Rock who winked at her.

  “Either am I,” Rock said.

  Chapter Ten

Beth walked next to Edward and Dred, while Lucas took Rock to the Great Hall. To say she was nervous to meet these beings was an understatement, but what had her really worried was the fact that things were not adding up. Someone from her past was fucking with them and if that was true, it was her fault that her men had been placed in danger.

“Stop thinking so hard, you’re going to give yourself a headache. Whatever is wrong, we’ll help you,” Dred whispered into her ear as they entered the Great Hall.

All talk stopped and everyone’s attention turned to them as they stood. “You know I really hate when they do this. I don’t think I’ll ever get used to it.” she sent to her men. Across the room, Lucas tried to hide the smile, but failed as did Rock. She knew both Dred and Edward would both be smiling too.

“It’s not funny,” she grumbled and moved to the seat next to Rock.

“Not to worry, you are not the only one,” Rock teased and tried to lean over to kiss her, but flinched.

“Don’t do that,” Beth pointed her finger at him before leaning over to give him that kiss. “I love you, Rock, but if you ever scare me like that again I’m going to clobber you.”

She sat down and noticed others were smirking too. Her face flushed and Beth looked down at her lap. “Stupid superior hearing,” she mumbled earning a room full of laughter which seemed to break the tension.

With a kiss to the top of her head, Lucas squeezed her shoulder as Lancelot placed food in front of her and Rock. “Eat, both of you.” Lancelot winked at her earning a growl from Rock which only had him laughing as he walked away from the table.

“You know he does that on purpose,” Beth said, taking a peek at Rock as she stuffed her mouth full of prime rib and moaned.

“Well, he needs to stop his flirting. You are well taken care of,” Rock grumbled and stuffed a piece of meat in his mouth and sighed. “But I guess I can forgive him, because anyone who can cook like this…” Rock stuffed another bite in his mouth when the doors to the Great Hall opened and eight gargoyles stepped into the room.

Six of them surrounded two of them as they moved up to the table where Edward and Lucas sat. The two in the middle scanned the room before turning their gaze on her and at once, Beth stiffened.

“King Gunner, what a surprise. It’s been a long time since we’ve spoken,” Lucas said, drawing their attention to him.

The largest of the creatures stepped forward. Both Deception and his grandfather lifted their heads watching the man as if not trusting him. “I’ve come to personally apologize for the attack on you and your family. Word has spread quickly about the attack and I wanted to assure you the group of our kind that attacked you have been outlawed on our planet for some time. The rest of this group has been captured and has been sentenced to death. We have however learned that your brother has many others that have joined his cause. I wanted to personally warn you and yours about this.”

Edward stood and nodded to the King. “Thank you for coming to warn us, but I ask why your attention keeps going to our woman?” Edward spoke, his voice a deathly calm, but with a little whip to it. No one said a word as the creature once more turned his attention on her.

She dropped her fork and next to her Rock tensed, a small growl to her left and she knew even Dred was ready. Beth waited to see if they would attack, but the man in question only smiled and nodded.

“They were right Lucas, you are well matched. Your female holds you all together and I’m here to pledge my alliance with you and your family. Welcome back, King Lucas.” The man bowed as did the rest of his men. Around them Edward’s men and family all gasped and glanced to Edward.

“Damn it, Gunner, how did you find out? No wait, the council,” Lucas snapped and sighed. “I will be taking control of our people, but Edward is still king here and will rule Earth. We are sharing the responsibilities since I’m well known on other planets and he has the knowledge of this world and the Fae. So you will show him his proper respect,” Lucas ordered and King Gunner laughed.

“Of course, King Edward, I meant no disrespect, but many of us have been waiting for this time. All Lucas needed was his family and we knew he would be a great ruler. With the four of you with him you all will do well and once again you have our pledge of alliance. If you need anything, don’t hesitate to call.” Once more the man’s gaze turned to her.

“You should not feel guilty for what you did, Queen Beth. They chose their path and you just protected what was yours. You are a very brave woman.” With that, the man left followed by his guard.

“Wow, I thought they usually don’t talk to females?” Beth questioned looking down at Deception.

“They don’t. He just paid you the highest compliment to his kind,” Lucas stated as the buzz of conversation started about the announcement that had been made. She leaned forward and glanced at Edward as he spoke with his father and Avril.

“Lucas, wasn’t Avril’s father killed? He should be with his mother, not here,” Beth said frowning as Avril looked at her and nodded.

“My family is around my mother. I wanted to see if I could do anything for you before I go make arrangements,” Avril answered, their blood connection blocked for the first time since she’d allowed it.

Lucas leaned down and kissed her cheek. “I’ve severed the connection. I’m sorry, but until we know who is betraying us, we can’t allow any blood ties with anyone,” he explained and she nodded.

“Impressive, my King. I didn’t know you could do that.” She winked at him and he laughed.

“There are many things I can do that will surprise you,” Lucas teased back, but tensed once more as he turned to see three men enter the Great Hall.

They appeared to be human, but their skin was rough like that of a lizard and their eyes golden. If Beth wasn’t taken, she’d defiantly think twice … “Ouch!” she jumped and rubbed her ass.

“There is no need for you to be checking them out,” Lucas said, without even looking at her.

“I’m taken, but it does not mean I can’t enjoy a nice view. Don’t think I didn’t notice you looking at that black hair bitch yesterday with the melons on display,” she glared up at him and he had the gall to smile as he held out his hand to one of the men.

“Lord Gale, it’s wonderful to see you again. May I introduce King Edward Vanderson, one of my family members.” Lucas drew the man attention away from her, and Beth smiled taking a bite of the garlic bread.

The man in question smiled, shaking both Edward’s and Lucas’ hand before turning to look at her. “And this lovely lady is?” A small puff of smoke came out of his nose.

“This is our woman, Beth. Beth, Lord Gale and his mates, Ethan and Zanfer.” Lucas introduced them as she wiped her hands and mouth on her napkin and started to rise out of her chair, holding her hand out, but Lord Gale waved her to sit back.

“Please stay seated. It’s a pleasure to meet you, beautiful lady. Tell me, are there are some hidden sisters around somewhere?” He took her hand and kissed it, earning a snarl from Dred and Rock.

“Thank you, but I’m sorry to say it’s just me. You three are looking for a special lady?” She asked earning another snarl from Rock.

“Yes, I’m afraid we haven’t found her yet, but we still search.” He glanced at Rock. “You have nothing to worry about. I know my place. I would never cross Lucas, but I know a few who have.” Lord Gale straightened and grew serious.

“This is why I’ve called on you. I’ve ordered those
that attacked you and got away to be killed on sight. I won’t have my kind starting a fight that can’t be won. Plus, they are stupid to think they could destroy you. I would consider it an honor to stand beside you and your family. I offer any resources that I have to find your brother. Will you be staying here on Earth?” he glanced around with a little sneer. “It really isn’t much compared to your other residence was.”

“Excuse me?” Beth said ready to zap the rude man. How dare he insult Edward’s home.

“Little Witch, finish your food,” Edward laughed. “Excuse Beth, but she is a little protective, as we are of her. As for this place, there is no comparison to Lucas’ last home, but then again we really don’t want to draw attention to ourselves here.”

“We haven’t decided where we will settle, but I’ll be sure to let you know when we decide. Thank you for taking the time to stop by,” Lucas said ending their chat.

Lord Gale laughed and nodded. “Forgive me if I’ve offended you. I meant no disrespect.” He bowed to Edward and turned back to her. “Lady Beth, I hope you will forgive this old man for his careless words. Sometimes I forget myself.” Reaching into his pocket, the man pulled out a blue stone the size of an egg. “Please accept this as my way of apologizing. On my world it’s called a Loodon. At night it will brighten your room with all sorts of colors and is said to bring good luck.” He placed the stone on the table in front of her.

She looked up at Lucas and he nodded. “It’s okay, but be warned…”

His words died out as Beth picked up the stone and shouted. “What the...?”

“I was going to warn you, the person who receives the stone is imprinted on it with the first touch. When your moods change so will the stone. Sort of like the humans mood rings, but on a grander scale.”

Gritting her teeth against the burn, Beth smiled as she slipped the stone into her pocket. “Thank you for the gift and your apology is appreciated. I just might have to start looking for a human for you three.” She teased earning a laugh from all three of them.

“Be warned. Any female who is stuck with the three of us might have more then she can handle,” Lore Gale said turning to leave the room. “But by all means please try.” He challenged and she grinned. Game on. All four of her men groaned knowing she wouldn’t stop till she found them a woman.

Lucas sat down next to Beth and laughed at her, already seeing the wheels turning in her head. “You do not have time now, so stop. So what would you like me to bring from your home?”

She sighed and leaned back in her seat. “Since we’re going to be there a while, might as bring my collection of DVD’s, books, oh and my photo albums. There are a few things I need to look for.” She tapped her fingers and shrugged. “There is a bag in the basement closet I’s like, along with my laptop. Oh and my paints. When are we leaving?” she asked and he smiled.

“Now,” he said, moving around between Rock and her, placing his hand on each of their shoulders. One minute they were sitting in a room full of people; the next they were seated on a wooden deck.

“This is my secret place,” he said, watching both Rock and Beth take their time looking around. Sitting outside of his house, the blue moon was full and it looked close enough to touch. Stars sparkled in the evening sky. The night animals of the planet were quiet watching the new invaders of their land. “I used to sit out here for hours just listening to the animals and watching the stars. Eat your food Rock, Beth.” Lucas pointed to the small trays that now appeared before them loaded with their food from the castle.

“What about Dred and Edward?” Beth asked, taking a drink of her iced tea.

“They will be along shortly. Edward will work through his father for now. This way we can concentrate on finding this traitor and my brother.” He grinned as he walked around their woman. “I do remember something about when we were alone, you would wear no clothes? Am I right, Rock?” Lucas asked and Rock laughed his gaze turning onto Beth.

“Yep, and I believe the penalty was ten smacks to that cute butt of hers, but since this is all new, we should give her a break, don’t you think?” Rock winked at Beth and she groaned.

“Fine,” she mumbled as her clothes disappeared. “But it still feels weird walking around totally nude even though we’re the only ones here. So, tell me about this place Lucas. What can we do? What’s dangerous?” Beth asked, working on her prime rib.

For a minute Lucas didn’t say a word and enjoyed the view in front of him. Beth’s body was full and round. Her breasts were large enough to fill each of his hands and her nipples were a candy red color that always made him want to suck on them.

He had had many women over the centuries, but none compared to this beauty before him. Lucas reached down and adjusted his pants, his cocks hard and ready. His gaze lifted, meeting hers.

“Having a bit of a problem there, Lucas?” she teased.

“With you around, I’m always hard, My Heart.” Lucas moved behind her and ran his hands down her shoulders to her breasts, cupping them. “Everything in the house is safe. For now, I would ask you to stay inside. Maybe tomorrow afternoon I’ll take you out and show you around.” He was just about to tell them about Igor, when the said animal crawled up the porch and sat on the railing, staring at them.

Beth stiffened under him. “Relax, this is Igor, and yes, he is friendly. He is a Tripop and can be a very dangerous animal, but he and I have become friends. Yes, his life is a long one and he rules the forest below. He has poison on his tongue and claws to kill anyone, but their kind are vegetarians. I call him Igor. He pretty much has made it his personal job to make sure no other creatures come close to this dwelling.” Igor jumped off the railing and moved around them.

“Try not to flip out when he runs his tongue over you. It’s his way of getting to know you.” Lucas pinched Beth’s nipples before releasing her when Igor stood in front of her.

“What is he doing now?” Beth squeaked pointing to the animal’s cock which was inflating.

“Well, that is different. Seems Igor likes you, Beth.” He laughed which earned him a glare when she looked up at him.

“This is not funny. Hell that animal is almost as big as a human. Of course, he can’t compare to you guys, thank god, but still what if? Lucas!” she screeched as the animal’s tongue darted out and wrapped around one of her breasts. “Ewww! Get it off of me!” Beth yelled.

Before Lucas could reach out and unwind the animal’s tongue, it growled. They both stared at each other, but eventually the animal released Beth’s breast, but not before it rasped over her nipple and slid down toward her pussy. “God, what is wrong with that thing?” Beth gritted her teeth.

“Enough!” Lucas shouted, grabbing the tongue and flicking it away. “Mine!” he snarled and stepped forward. Never would he have guessed that Igor would be attracted to a human female.

As if understanding him, the creature slowly moved back to the railing, but then again it could have been because at that moment Beth’s Neobinder moved into the room. Deception, twice the size of Igor, sat down in front of Beth. Even Masters, Lucas’ personal Neobinder, came out onto the patio and sat beside his descendant and proceeded to clean himself.

“I’m afraid your woman is the first female human here and your friend wants to mate with her. He is willing to let you touch his women. There are about three of them below waiting. I’m afraid with this species the only way to show she is yours is by claiming her in front of him,” Master’s said to Lucas, but he knew Beth had heard when she snorted.

“Great, now we’re going to have these creatures watching us as we fuck,” she mumbled.

“We don’t fuck, My Heart. We make love,” Lucas held out his hand and, without hesitation. she placed her small one into his. “It’s not like you are not ready for me.” Lucas stated, running his hand down her smooth skin to the junction between her legs. “You are wet and ready for me. Put your hands on the railing next to Igor. Let him watch.”

; She did what he ordered. He ran his hand down her spine enjoying the way Beth responded to his touch. Lucas ran both of his hands over the globes of her ass and squeezed before delivering two sound smacks to each one.

“Interesting, I take it there is a reason that thing is watching you?” Edward said behind him as Dred stepped to the side, watching.

“It seems my longtime friend here has a thing for our woman. Masters has informed me Beth must be claimed in front of him. As you can see, he is very excited, his females are below, and if I’m not mistaken, that smell is their calling card to the male that they are ready to be taken.” Lucas frowned. “It isn’t a very pleasant smell, is it?”

“Ya think? It’s going to make me sick, Lucas,” Beth stated and tried to step back coving her nose with her hand.

“Sorry, My Heart. Let me take care of that for you.” Lucas stated and at once the stench was gone replaced with that of the ocean in the early morning. Lucas had seen the memory and knew it was one of her favorites.

Her eyes glazed over and her lip quivered. “Thank you, Lucas. I had forgotten about that time with my parents.” She reached over and squeezed his arm.

“You’re welcome, but you’ve moved from where I put you, My Heart,” he stated and watched as her eyes got big, realizing her mistake.

“But…” she started to say something, but instead once more moved to the position he had placed her.

Lucas went back to where Edward was enjoying the view. “Spread those legs more, Beth. Let us see what is ours.”

It was still hard to believe it had been over three days since she had lost their babies. At times each of them could see the sadness in her gaze, but their woman always tried to make them happy and not dwell on the negative.

“She is nice and wet,” Dred walked around her, his finger slid up her inner thigh before bringing it to his mouth. “I don’t think I can ever get enough of her. Would you mind?” Dred asked Edward and he shook his head.
