Den of Iniquity Page 32

I shake my head and turn my mind back to the problem at hand. “How about if I wrap the whole host in a deep layer of pure energy and then burn it?”

Gwen pitches in. “Same problem, Will. You aren’t experienced enough to ensure there are no holes in coverage. You’re powerful enough, just not skilled enough.”

Mick snorts, “With that power reservoir? Really!”

Gwen says quietly, “I’ve seen what he’s hiding, Mick.” Gwen looks at me. “Show him, Will”

“Holy shit,” Mick exclaims as I release control on my power well.

“I’ve been working on pushing everything into pure energy in my well. I keep very little free entropy and growth energy. I can usually grab some from around me if I need it, so I just keep a little bit for emergencies,” I explain.

Gwen says, “Yes. You no longer look like a necromancer. Your dan t’ien appears to be full of pure soul energy, or qi as you call it on your planet. It looks like that you are pulling that in from around you, too. Soul energy is the source of real magic. Where did you learn that?”

I shrug, “Experimentation. Josie’s power is like this naturally. I had to cultivate it.”

Mick tilts its head. “Well, William. You definitely have enough power to do the job. It’s experience and skill you lack. You need one of the immortals.”

Gwen asks, “Are they still around? I thought they all would have ascended by now.”

Mick shakes its head. “No. Wodan is still around. Magnus is still trying to clean things up down there. Zeus ascended, but Apollo is still around - you’d think he was Dionysis the way he acts now. Baal surfaces periodically. I think there are some others running around there. They mostly just blend in as wealthy norms. For instance, Apollo is now a Greek shipping magnate.”

“Wait a minute,” I interrupt. “You mean all of the gods of myth and legend exist or did exist?”

Mick shakes its head, and Gwen explains. “Not all. For instance, Wodan exists, but his sons Thor, Heimdal, etcetera were just long-lived mortals, demigods if you prefer. Loki, well that was Luke multitasking at the time. Lucifer was the job, and Loki was its hobby. All the ‘tricksters’ really. Neptune was a complete fabrication; although, there was an Atlantean king by that name.”

“Jeez,” I exclaim. “Atlantis existed, too. And, I suppose I could walk over to God’s house while we’re here.”

Mick shakes its head absently. “No. The ‘Most High’ lives elsewhere.” The huge angel looks at me intensely. “You must get the Magnus to help you.”

“The greatest?” I translate. “Really. I suppose he’s very humble, too.”

Mick tilts its head and looks at me seriously. “Actually, yes. He didn’t come up with the title. It was given to him in the Dark Ages - originally it was ‘Magus Magnus.’ He has the ability and strength to handle this.”

“Great,” I huff. “How can I find this guy? I’ve got just under a week. I understand Xranalazny has been notified.”

Mick gives me a frustrated look. “Aren’t you connected to the magical community?”

“No,” I admit. “I am self-taught, and I’ve barely been at this for three months.”

  “Oh goodness!” Mick exclaims.

  “Exactly,” I say. “Anything else?”

Mick nods, “Make sure your Hunter has those blessed disrupting bullets. Those won’t kill Xranalazny, but they will definitely get its attention and keep it in place.”

“Okay. Jack needs kryptonite bullets.” I look at the two angels. “What if I can’t find this Magnus fella? I don’t have much time. Can I call on you two?”

Mick says, “That would need to be your last option. My people have not had very good luck with Xranalazny. It has killed some of my agents, and managed to escape every squad I’ve sent after him. Magnus has a relatively unique skill set. He’s the best possible option for this.”

“Well if you get the chance to contact him, please send him my way,” I sigh heavily. “I guess you better send me home. It’s Rebecca’s birthday today, so we are supposed to celebrate tonight.”

Suddenly I’m standing back in our basement in the exact spot I was in before Mick plucked me out of my reality to that mountaintop cone-of-silence thing. All of my ladies are inhaling deeply with fear etched on their faces. They all stop, and look confused.

“How long was I gone?” I ask.

Rebecca answers as Josie and Audrey wrap me in a hug. “Just long enough for us to register that you were gone. The angels disappeared, and you were gone with them.” Erica struggles to her feet as Rebecca, Marissa, and interestingly enough Carla, all pile onto Audrey and Josie’s group hug.

Josie adds, “I had just long enough to inhale to scream your name before you returned. Thank all that is holy.”

I mutter, “Apparently thanking the ‘Most High’ is an acceptable method of thanking God.”

I give each of my ladies a life-affirming kiss. Carla cuddles up close and burrows into my chest. I’m still not sure what is going on there, but I wrap my arms around her and give her a gentle squeeze. She releases me and steps back. Rebecca and Marissa each hold one of Carla’s arms.

  35

  Happy Birthday, Rebecca

I look at Audrey. “Kitten, get Erica settled please. Then come join us for Rebecca’s present.”

She kisses me deeply before murmuring into my neck. “Yes, Master.”

I turn to Marissa. “Honey, can you get Carla settled for the night before you come to bed?” She releases Carla’s arm and climbs up my body. She drives her tongue into my mouth as she wraps her legs around my waist. I slide my hand under her bum and squeeze her hard ass. She moans into my mouth as we play tongue tag. Finally she comes up for air. “I can’t wait for my birthday. It’s three days after yours.”

  “June fourth,” I confirm.

She nods and slides her firm body down my torso. Marissa skips back to Carla, who is staring at her like an alien. Marissa says, “Come along, Carla. Let’s get you a glass of water, and we’ll get you tucked in.”

She doesn’t move for a moment before following Marissa upstairs. I hear her sob quietly. “Marissa, will you ever kiss me like that again?”

Marissa turns on the step to hug the taller woman. She kisses Carla’s forehead. “I don’t know Carla. You hurt me very badly. If I hadn’t loved you so much, you couldn’t have hurt me like that.” She tips Carla’s chin up to look her in the eye. “The love never left. My willingness to be hurt did. Be patient. The future isn’t written. Okay?”

Carla hiccups, “O-kay.” Marissa turns and continues up the stairs.

Josie, Rebecca, and I head up to get water for the night. Carla gives me another hug as we follow into the kitchen. She kisses my cheek. “Thank you, William. This is different for both sides of my personality, but we are both certain we made a good match. Thank you for doing this. Sidney’s knowledge was eye-opening to my Carla side. You weren’t kidding that you could suck the life right out of me.”

“No. I’m glad it didn’t come to that. Your intelligence and wit touched me when I met you. I am happy we’ve become friends,” I tell her.

She gives me that same serious look she always gives me. Slowly, she leans in and kisses my cheek. “Me, too.” I have to admit, she smells fantastic.

Josie and I escort Rebecca to the bedroom. We kiss her all over as we strip her out of her dress.

Audrey runs in and strips out of her dress before she tackles Rebecca into the bed. I hang my chino’s and slide out of my boxers. Josie crawls into bed on the other side of Rebecca. Each of the women kisses and fondles her.

I whisper urgently, “Now, ladies.” Each grabs a wrist and an ankle and pulls Rebecca spread eagle. She squeals in surprise.

She looks up, “Oh! My goodness! William, what are you up to?”

I look down at my hardening member before I look up at her. “About nine inches. Happy Birthday, beloved. My gift to you is that I’m going to abuse you mercilessly.”

Rebecca moans as she looks at me with lust in her eyes.

Marissa runs in, “You didn’t start without me, did you baby?” She strips out of her dress and tosses it on the chair in the corner. She crawls between Rebecca’s splayed thighs.

Marissa tells her, “Happy birthday, Rebecca. I love you.” She continues to crawl up to kiss Rebecca passionately before she kisses her way down Rebecca’s torso. Stops at Rebecca’s recently waxed mons.

I lean in to kiss Rebecca passionately and then get out of Audrey’s way. Audrey sits on Rebecca’s face while Josie and I fondle and suckle her breasts. Marissa gives Rebecca her birthday present - orgasms. Lots of orgasms.

When Marissa is done worshipping Rebecca’s treasures, we all rotate around the birthday girl. Marissa takes my place on her left to suckle her breast. I feed my cock into Rebecca’s mouth. Audrey collapses on Rebecca’s right side to pin her right arm and suckle her right breast. Josie crawls into place to scissor Rebecca, holding her right leg tight between her bountiful breasts.

Rebecca gets used mercilessly by all four of us and loves it. I deliver a load of cum down her throat and another in her pussy. Each of the ladies gives her own present and takes a ride on her face. By the end of the circuit, Rebecca is lying there completely limp with a huge smile on her face.

“That. Was. Awesome!” she gasps. She looks at Josie as she catches her breath.

  Josie says, “What?”

Rebecca says, “William? Darling, Lord Husband? Did you not say that Josie is to get a reward for her fine work creating a brand new soul for Erica?”

I nod sagely as I sit in my heels with my half-hard cock still inside my sexy little witch. “I did say that,” I agree.

Rebecca says, “I highly recommend this treatment as a reward.”

“Do you now?” I ask. Rebecca nods expansively. “Well then.” I pause for effect, but Audrey and Marissa grab Josie quickly as Rebecca squirms off my hardening cock to vacate the center of the bed. “Josie, assume Rebecca’s position,” I command.

Josie gets her reward. She doesn’t seem to mind where her sisters sit, and they applaud her lingual efforts.

I fall asleep with Audrey under my left pit, Marissa behind her, Josie under my right, and Rebecca on top of me.

I wake Sunday morning with Carla on my right shoulder, Marissa behind her, Audrey and Josie on the other side, and Rebecca lying on top of me.

Carla’s eyes open, and she watches me quietly

I kiss her forehead. “Good morning, Carla. I feel delightful, naked flesh pressed to my right side and a silky leg over mine. I recall you not being here when I went to sleep. When did you join us?”

She answers, “Apparently you fell asleep before the ladies were done last night. With you not getting much sleep the other night, the ladies decided to move to the living room. I couldn’t sleep and heard them giggling and gasping. So I snuck up the stairs and had a glass of wine with them. My clothes got lost somewhere.” She smirks with that comment. “Marissa and I mended some fences. Then I gave Rebecca a birthday present. Then Audrey and Josie looked so left out. I might have had sex with all your wives.” She smirks.

I gasp. “What a strumpet you are, Carla!” She flashes an ornery smile that actually reaches her eyes. “You actually look happy, Carla.”

“I am,” she says. “I feel like I belong for the first time in my life. I will revel in it as long as you let me.”

“I will try not to threaten your happiness, Carla. I suspect it’s been a rare experience,” I murmur to her.

The smile leaves her eyes as she nods against my chest, but it slowly returns. “I need to go for a run. I gotta keep my girlish figure or else these young ladies will kick me to the curb.”

I smile at her. “As if. They have been maneuvering you into the family ever since Cyrus showed up at your house.” She actually grins. I tell her, “Go on. Go run. Don’t be late for brunch.”

I see the ornery twinkle return in her eye. “You could come with me.”

“I rarely run due to the impact on my knees. I might know how to manage that now, but I haven’t gotten my head wrapped around it yet. Rebecca and I ran a little in North Carolina, but generally I swim sprints instead.”

“Okay,” she murmurs. “Let me know when you’re up to try it. Now that I understand more about your craft, I think it should allow you to manage it better.” She quickly brushes her lips over mine, winks at me, and slides out of bed.

Later that morning, we have brunch with the Tomlinsons, the Jeromes, and Aunt Judith at the Prescott Station. We have a lovely patio table, and as is usually the case when my family gets together, we have a wonderful time visiting and laughing. I check Dan and Maria with my second sight during the meal, and they are looking healthy and fit. I need to be careful I don’t go crazy and visibly roll the clock back on them.

After brunch, I pull Jack aside. I ask him, “Do you have holy bullets?”

He looks around to ensure no one is paying too much attention outside our group. “I only have four left. I think I can get some more. You think I need them for next weekend?”

  I nod, “That’s what I’ve been told.”

Jack nods, “Okay. I’ll see how many I can get my hands on.”

“What makes them special?” I ask him

He looks around again. “If one creates a mortal wound, they destroy the soul. ‘Holy bullets’ is the exact opposite of what they really are. How did you hear about them?”

I copy his anti-surveillance scan before answering. “A four-winged angel named Micháelis.”

Jack yelps, “Holy shit!” He catches himself. He murmurs, “How did you manage an audience with the archangel Michael?”

“A friend arranged the meeting,” I tell him. “Do you know someone named Magnus?” I ask.

Jack shakes his head. “He’s a myth. I’ve heard legends and rumors. I don’t think he is real. If he exists, Bernadette may know him. She knows a lot of people.”

Judith hooks her hand into the crook of my arm. She leans in conspiratorially. Murmurs, “Did I hear you mention Magnus?”

  I nod.

Judith says, “I met him in the 70’s at a party. He’s a very nice man. He came to visit me again right after I moved into Pioneer Home about sixteen years ago. He said he was nearby and decided to drop in. I have no idea how he knew where to find me, but he gave me a card with a website on it. If you put in your name, it gives you a code and a phone number. Text the code, when to meet, and where. Supposedly he shows up.”

“Would you send me the link, Judith?

“Of course, dear.” She pats my hand like a kindly grandma. “I am going to catch an Uber home. Thanks for the invite. I had a lovely time.” She pulls me down and kisses my lips gently, winks and walks off.

Jack asks me, “Is it my imagination, or is she really working her hips for you?”

I chuckle, “I’m afraid it’s not your imagination.” I almost tell him I fully expect to wake up one morning with a rejuvenated Judith looking somewhere between twenty to fifty riding my cock, but I go for discretion. Besides, I don’t think he knows Judith’s craft, and it’s not my secret to share.

Judith collects hugs from all my ladies, Carla, Erica, the Tomlinsons, Jack, and Darcie. We wait until her car shows up, and then we walk home. We drop Jack and Darcie off at their place. It turns out they live about three blocks from our house.

In the afternoon, I practice with the imps.

Rather than doing the summoning herself, Audrey has Carla summon them under her supervision to exercise her new abilities from Sidney’s soul. However, before she cuts Carla loose, she walks Carla through a very thorough review.

Audrey apparently learned a very strict school of sorcery compared to Sidney’s experience. Given Steven Cheung’s former employer, I’m not surprised. I join the ladies in the ‘playroom,’ bringing along three jars of peanut butter for my training partners.

After some rigorous instruction and redrawing the circle twi
ce, Carla summons Xerxes. She contracts with him to train with me for a jar of peanut butter. Once done, she does the same for Hermes and Argos.

We train by having the critters toss balls of chaos at me from multiple directions, and I work at dodging, blocking, and sweeping them out of the way. The couple of times they have hit me with chaos balls in the past resulted in vertigo, confusion, and fear. The little demons lapped it up like candy. After my talk with Mick, I’m guessing the ‘chaos balls’ are impish soul energy. I use my ‘pure’ energy for the shields, but toss balls of entropy back at the little critters.

Today, I’m doing well. So of course they stop, and chatter quietly. I can’t understand what they’re saying. The language is different from anything else I’ve heard - a melange of chirps, barks, grunts, growls, and whistles. They stop talking and all come together to combine their chaos balls into a bigger one. I almost bat it away with a ball of energy around my hand, but change my mind to dodge out of the way. It breaks apart into three balls on impact and swirls around me.

They just stand there laughing at me. When I disperse all three balls, Hermes says, “That’s secret, Master.”

Argos says, “We use this tactic against bigger opponents.”

Xerxes says, “But same problem with the bigs. They will feed off it.”

I have a thought. “How do elves deal with that?”

Argos answers, “They go crazy.” Evil little grins on their faces. “You need elves dead?”

“Not at the moment, but it’s recently become a possibility,” I answer honestly.

“I like killing elves,” Xerxes says with a bloodthirsty look in his eye.

Argos grins, “I would do it for no peanut butter.”

Hermes demurs, “Ah, I dunno ‘bout that. Maybe for just a big spoonful.”

Argos nods crazily, “Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah!”

Xerxes says, “Any elf. Any time. No charge.” The little critter really hates elves. Good to know. I’ll keep it in mind.

Carla pays them in peanut butter and then dismisses them to return to their home dimension.
