Fearless Page 15

They both gave him a frowning side-eye. He pretended not to notice.

“There’s one last secret he thought it was time to reveal. Did you know he had a savings account? I didn’t. He always seemed broke to me. His rent was low—because he lived in a horrible apartment complex. He didn’t buy food—thanks to Macy and Nonna and Finn Again leftovers. And he rarely had to buy his own drinks. I think we all know why. And now, all that money he didn’t spend for the last decade—the money he always hoarded for a rainy day—just went into a down payment for this. The perfect house for all your needs, blocks away from yours truly… Seriously, I could walk here every day. Sure, it’s kind of a bribe so you forgive him for not telling you about his nest egg, but it’s a really pretty one with lots of amenities.”

Rory saw her heading toward the bedroom and held his breath. The timing had to be perfect.

Essie opened the door and smiled at what she saw before the camera panned over. “Here he is, boys. He did all this for you, so give him your attention.”

Rory saw himself on the large screen and blushed. He was too skinny, too pale and wearing the same towel he had on now. He lifted a large sign made out of poster board and held it in front of him, flinging his towel at Essie with a wicked grin.

David leaned closer to read the sign. “I love you both. I will forever. Live with me and… Please look at the other me now.”

The video froze and Rig and David turned toward him in surprise.

Rory was holding another sign and dangling the towel in his hand.

Rig started laughing and David’s smile was so bright it hurt to look at.

“And… Please can we have sex now?”

“Well?” Rory was already impatient, hopeful and painfully aroused. And yes, still a little nervous that they might not like his surprise.

Rig and David didn’t disappoint him. They both started stripping. Fast. Rory swore heard something tear and a few buttons might have rolled under the couch.

“I can’t believe you did that,” David gasped, hopping out of his shoes. “And why didn’t you mention you had the savings for that kind of down payment? We’ve been talking about finances for the last few weeks.”

There would always be a little accountant in David, Rory thought with a smirk.

The truth was it had been a safety blanket he rarely thought about anymore. Since the day his father kicked him out he’d always made sure that most of his paychecks were deposited there so he’d never have to worry like that again. “I’m telling you now.”

Rig lowered his jeans, taking his boxers with them. “We couldn’t have built a better house, I’m still not sure how you found it.”

He’d had everyone working on it for over a week, the entire spy network. He wasn’t giving away credit right now though. Not if they were happy enough to give him what he wanted. He tossed his sign over the couch. “Are you saying yes? To the house, I mean.”

Rig lifted him until his toes left the ground and kissed him with all the passion inside him. “I love you. I will forever. Yes to the house and the fucking. Now please.”

As soon as he set him down David’s mouth was on his. Oh God, he’d missed this so much. “I love you and I will forever. The house is amazing and we need to fuck you, so I hope you’re ready.”

  He was. “Finally.”

“I’m so damn ready I don’t know where to start,” Rig muttered against Rory’s neck.

He knew. “Rig, can you lay on the floor for us?”

Rig’s sharp cheekbones were flushed and his pupils already blown as he instantly positioned himself on his back beside them. “Whatever you want.”

Everything. He’d wanted everything, and they’d already given it to him. Now it was his turn.

He knelt down between Rig’s legs and reached for the lube he’d hidden underneath one of the overly fluffed pillows. “No condoms,” he growled. “We don’t need anything between us anymore.”

David almost whimpered at that. “Where do you want me, Roar?”

Rory smiled seductively over his shoulder. “I’m going to get inside Rig’s tight ass.” He took one lubed finger and showed them both what he meant.

“Yes.” Rig lifted his hips in desperation.

“And then you’re going to bend me over and fuck us both with that monster,” Rory said, the idea of it almost enough to make him come.

David swore and dropped to his knees beside them. “Don’t keep us waiting.”

Hah. They were the ones that had kept him waiting until he was crazy. Willing to do anything to show them he didn’t space anymore. He hated space. Space sucked. He never wanted to be without either one of them again.

He realized that had been their reason for the deprivation at the same time he was pushing the head of his cock into Rig’s firm ass. “Oh, you clever bastards.”

“That’s right,” Rig gasped. “And you love it.”

Rory leaned down to suck Rig’s tongue into his mouth. “I love you, Anthony. You feel so good.” He spread Rig’s legs wider and leaned in until he was rooted deep inside. “I’ll never get enough of this.”

“That was the plan,” Rig moaned. “Don’t stop.”

As if he could. After the last few weeks he doubted any of them were willing to press pause. “Fuck. David, you need to hurry.”

  “You’re not ready for me.”

“Already took care of it,” Rory groaned, unable to stop himself from thrusting into Rig’s hot, clenching ass again. So good. “You told me not to keep you waiting, and I didn’t want to waste time in case you agreed. I’m ready for you, David. We’re ready for you.”

Rory’s mouth opened and closed on a silent cry when David curved his body over the both of them impatiently and started that first firm push inside. “Jesus, David—God.” So full.

They’d all been too long without to go slow and he’d been too greedy not to demand this. All of them together.

  Together.

David hesitated and Rory swore. “Don’t hold back now, damn it. I can’t take it.”

“Fuck us, David,” Rig begged from underneath him. “I want to watch his face when you make him come inside me.”

Rig was the devil. Rory kissed him again. “You always know the right thing to say.”

A feral rumbling vibrated against his back and Rory realized David was growling. Yes. “Do it, David. Fuck me hard. Make us all come.”

  “Kiss me.”

Rory turned his head and David kissed them both breathless as his hips started to pound him deeper into Rig. Fuck, yes.

He’d never done this before but it was his new favorite position. Filling and being filled. Taking and being taken. Rory-in-the-middle.

  Harder, David. Harder.

“So deep,” Rig groaned, one fist gripping his erection, jerking himself in time to their thrusts. “I’m close.”

“Yes.” David lifted his mouth and ground his thick beast inside Rory, making him shake. “Come inside him, Roar. Let him feel us come together.”

Rory bit his lip, every inch of his body alive and on fire for his two men. They were everywhere. In his body. In his heart. Filling him up with desire and need until he knew he was going to explode.

  Coming. Coming so hard. “David!”

David growled again, biting the back of Rory’s neck as pulse after pulse of his warm release filled his ass.

“Damn,” Rig mumbled beneath him. “Feels so good.”

It felt like they’d claimed each other. Mine. These two are mine.

When David moved to let him roll off of Rig and collapse on the floor, Rory started to laugh.

“What is it?” Rig asked sleepily.

  “David bit me.”

  “I did not.”

Rory couldn’t keep the grin off his face. “David growled like a kinky shifter, and then he bit me.”

“You’re the biter,” David muttered, embarrassed.

Rig pushed himself onto his elbow with a groan. “Do you like shifters? I t
hought you were the vampires-in-a-love-triangle guy.”

Rory pretended to consider it while he reached for the towel so he didn’t leak all over his cousin’s carpet. “They both bite. They’re both broody.”

David snorted. “One is a corpse and the other is part animal.”

Rory shook his finger chidingly. “That’s a stereotype. I’ve read several books where the vampires are a different species, not dead at all, and they can shift into wolves and dragons. That’s the whole package.”

“That sounds better than the dead ones that cry and piss blood.” Rig made a face. “That’s just wrong.”

“Messy,” Rory agreed. “Though probably more accurate when you think about it.”

David dragged himself onto his stomach and pressed his cheek to Rory’s chest. “This is a ridiculous conversation.”

It was. They’d just professed their love, had a fast and dirty, mind-bending threesome, and now they were discussing the varying species of vampire.

  “I love you guys.”

“We know.” Rig’s hand reached out to caress his hip. “You got us a house and everything.”

“The perfect home.” David nuzzled his neck. “Speaking of houses… How long did Jen give you before they get back?”

  “We have all night.”

It didn’t get any better than this.

  Epilogue

  Three months later…

Rig wasn’t exactly sure how she’d done it, but Essie had talked him into doing a damn cooking show with Nonna Gina. His grandmother was thrilled of course, already buying several vampire slaying t-shirts for her debut.

David and his sister had been developing new content for their channel all the time, and Rig and Rory had been drafted. The viewers seemed to like them, especially once they filmed themselves talking in the pool after a long day of moving into their new home.

Shirtless 4 Star Trek. That’s what Essie titled the video, since they’d started by wishing movers would develop transporter technology, and ended an hour later with Rig arguing that a replicator could never win a cooking competition against an Italian.

This is what bragging gets you.

Honestly, doing the show didn’t bother him. After these last few months, he’d be willing to do whatever made David or Rory happy. He’d even tried to catch up on David’s science fiction and Rory’s vampires, just so he could contribute to the conversations.

He’d read Pride and Prejudice for God’s sake. It had to be love.

But then, he’d always known it was. And after so many years, his patience had finally paid off. He had them both and it was more precious, more everything than he’d ever thought possible. The way they looked at him, laughed with him, fought with him? He lived for it.

Even the hard days. Last week Rory’s brother James had made him read a letter from an old friend of his father’s. James had actually sought him out to discover the name of Rory’s attacker—something Rory made Rig promise never to tell his brothers.

The letter told the story of what happened when Rory’s father disappeared for two days. He’d gone back to work and pushed through transfer paperwork on the child molester instead of pressing charges. And then he’d dragged the man behind the precinct and—with his most loyal men surrounding him—beat him until he was unconscious and they had to drag Sol off the body. The friend said he’d sat in his office for hours after that, hands bloody and tears in his eyes.

Younger, who’d come to support Rory whatever the letter said, had been as angry as Rig was. What did a few punches matter? The point was he’d left Rory alone and he’d hurt him by hiding the truth.

Rory was upset too, but of course he saw it a little differently. “I kind of wish we could tell Uncle Shawn he was right.” He turned to Younger and smiled sadly through his tears. “I think he wanted someone to see my journals, right? Or else he wouldn’t have asked you to bring them. And now we know he was still in there somewhere. The boy who defended his brother. Only for a minute. But he was there.”

The man he loved never ceased to amaze him.

But it was his present to Rig the day after they’d moved in that had really blown him away. A brand new journal filled with the story of Rory and Rig. Rory shared all his thoughts on paper—how instant the attraction was, how confusing it was at first, because of his love for David. His fear that he wasn’t good enough for either of them, but they might be perfect for each other.

Rig had known why he’d done it. Rory made it clear to him every day that he loved both David and Rig more than he could ever express. That he needed both of them in his life.

Rig wanted to tell him he never had to worry. He’d fallen in love with Rory Finn in the first hour of the first day they met. He was pretty and defiant and brilliant at everything, but there was something inside those bright blue eyes that drew him in. Something that told him not to give up. To wait and see. So he waited. And waited. Then he waited a little bit more.

And then one day the universe had given him one hell of a gift in return. Rory liked to call it the Mistletoe Meltdown.

Rig smiled, thinking of the way Rory watched this morning as he’d woken David up with moans of pleasure, just in time for breakfast.

  Two gifts.

He was never giving either one of them back.
