She couldn’t even dispute that. “Would you just fuck me already?”

Zander upped his pace, pumping his hips again and again. She looked so fucking amazing right then. Eyes languid. Mouth swollen. Cheeks flushed. Nipples hard. Pussy glistening. And then there was the sight of his cock repeatedly sinking into her ass . . . For once, he was sure he’d come before she did.

  “Harder, Zander.”

He shook his head. “I’ll fuck you hard whenever you want, but not so hard it hurts you.” Right now, she was enjoying it. He didn’t want that to change, even if it was so tempting to give his wolf what he wanted and slam his cock deep.

“I don’t mind when it hurts. I like it.”

He groaned. “Don’t say shit like that, Gwen.”

Gwen was torn between hitting him and crying in frustration. Her orgasm was just out of her reach. “Please.”

She’d never begged him before . . . and that just smashed Zander’s resolve to pieces. He plunged hard and fast, giving her what they both wanted. He felt no pain through their bond. Only need and hunger and pleasure. “Come, Gwen.” He felt it as she came, felt her almost violent release vibrate up their bond as it swept her under and she imploded with a silent scream.

Zander buried himself deep and came, claiming her ass just as he’d claimed every other part of her. Now he had it all. The satisfaction of that went bone deep and fed his soul. Settled something in his wolf.

Withdrawing his softening cock, Zander lay on his back and heaved her pliant, quivering body on top of him. She buried her face in the crook of his neck, and Zander smoothed a hand down her back. “You okay?”

  “Yowza.”

He chuckled, running his fingers up and down her spine as the aftershocks eased away. Feeling her body go slack, he squeezed her nape. “Don’t fall sleep. We need to shower.”

“Not sleeping. Just relaxing.” Gwen propped her chin up on his chest. “You know, it’s kind of a shame that a shifter bite can’t change a human into a shifter. I’d be so at the front of the line.”

He tilted his head slightly. “You’d really turn into a shifter if you could?”

“Having an inner wolf would be awesome. And it would mean I had a wolf for yours.”

Zander framed her face with his hands. “I’ve told you, he adores you exactly as you are.”

“I know. I adore him right back.”

“Good. I mean it, Gwen, you don’t have to feel bad.” But he knew she stupidly did. “He’s not disappointed—he only needs you. And so do I.”

  “You both have me.”

He skimmed his hands down her back. “Of course we do. We wouldn’t have settled for anything else.”

She chuckled. “Lying here all relaxed, I was just thinking . . .”

  “What?” he pushed.

  “Nothing. Doesn’t matter.”

He growled. “Gwen, what were you going to say?”

Stifling a smile because she knew it drove him insane and, well, that would always be fun, she said, “Nothing, forget it.”

Honestly, Zander wanted to throttle her. “Tell me.”

  “It doesn’t matter.”

“I hate it when you do that.”

“Yeah? Take a guess at how many fucks I give.”

He rolled her onto her back. “You’re lucky I love you.”

She smiled. “Yeah, well, you’re lucky I love you. Although . . .”

  “What?”

  “Nothing. Doesn’t matter.”

“Gwen.” Growling, he dropped his forehead to hers. “You’re trying to drive me out of my mind.”

“Now what makes you say that?”
