Crash and Burn (Savage Menaces MC Book 5) Page 2

by Kay Marie

“Yeah, see her turn you down again,” Hollywood says. They all burst into laughter.

“Are we playing teams or not?” I try to change the subject. Marley is the last person I want to be thinking about right now.

  “We makin’ bets,” Tech asks.

“Twenty from each. Whoever sinks the most balls takes all?” Buzz suggests.

I shrug. “I’m good with whatever.”

Halfway through our first game, a couple cut bunnies make their way over to us. Trix saunters up to me, trying to seduce me with her body. I’ve been immune to that shit since the first time I fucked her. Her pussy ain’t anything to write home about.

“Hey, Ras,” she purrs out. “How you doin’, baby? You need me to take care of you?”

“Not right now, Trix. We’re in the middle of a fuckin’ game,” I tell her. When it’s my turn to shoot, I sink two balls before missing. As soon as I sit down, Trix has her hands all over me. I take one more hit from my pen, now having the perfect high. Hollywood ends the game, winning it for us and winning himself the money.

At this point, I’m so high, all I want to do is kick back and enjoy it. I move to the couch, letting myself drop onto it with Trix on my heels.

  “Trix, get me another beer.”

She hurries off to the bar to get it, coming back as quickly as she can.

“Here you go, baby.” Sitting on my lap, she hands me my beer and throws her arms around my neck. “What else can I do for you?”

My eyes roam over her body. She’s wearing this blinged-out, swimsuit looking top that barely holds her tits and some daisy dukes that only cover half her ass. I can’t help but compare her to Marley and how sexy she looked even though her body was covered up. My traitorous dick bounces at the thought of Marley. Trix must feel it because her eyes light up like she hit the jackpot.

“I can help with that.” She wiggles her ass against my lap. American Woman by Lenny Kravitz comes on and Trix squeals. “I love this song!”

She grinds her ass against my jean covered cock, moving her body to the beat of the song. I lay my head against the back of the couch, enjoying the show. I don’t know if it’s from smoking or drinking, but I begin to see Marley as the one grinding against me, making my dick rock hard. Out of my peripheral, the clubhouse door opens to Marley and Ruger, one of the Nomad brothers, walking in, bringing me back to reality. Marley’s eyes lock on mine.

“I’m sorry about Rascal,” Minx says to me as we walk up to her house.

“Don’t be. He’s like that all the time,” I admit.

She sighs. “Some of these guys never know when not to be assholes. You seem to be able to hold your own pretty well, though.”

“What can I say? He makes it so easy.”

Minx laughs. “I’ve never known anyone, especially a woman, to get under his skin like you do.”

“Don’t put too much thought into it. It’s only because I won’t sleep with him.”

  Chains snickers behind us.

“Good for you! His arrogant ass needs a dose of reality. Too many women treat him like he’s a gift from the gods,” Minx says.

“I need some fucking earplugs when I’m around y’all. I should not be listening to this,” Chains says. Minx and I both laugh.

“No one said you had to,” Minx pokes at him.

He shakes his head but doesn’t say anything else.

“I’ve met plenty of men like him. I’m immune to his charm,” I tell her. We walk up the steps of her house, stopping before going inside.

“Chains, why don’t you hang out on the porch, so you don’t have to be tortured with more girl talk,” I suggest. Minx giggles next to me.

“Yeah, that’s a good idea.” He moves a couple chairs around, then flops down into one and kicking his feet up on the other.

“Sure, make yourself comfy,” Minx mutters, rolling her eyes. I shake my head with a smile.

We walk inside and into the living room. There are blankets and pillows everywhere. Netflix is pulled up on the TV, and Rivet, Wren, and Sienna are lounging around, messing with their phones.

“What are you hookers doing?” Minx says. All three of them turn to look at us.

“Marley! You came!” Wren hops up and walks over to me.

“This one here dragged me out of the clubhouse to come hang out.” I tease, gesturing to Minx. Wren’s eyes go wide. “I’m kidding. She didn’t have to drag me. I came on my own free will.”

Minx, Rivet, and Sienna all giggle.

“Oh, so you’re sarcastic like Sienna. This will be fun.” Wren smirks.

“Then we’ll get along great.” I wink at them. “So, what kind of take-out are we getting?”

“We can use FoodDash and get something from multiple places,” Rivet suggests.

“I like the way you think!” I grin.

We brainstorm what foods we want from where when Tink walks in.

“Y’all started this shindig without me?” She pretends to pout.

“Nah, bitch, we’re just getting started.” I stick my tongue out at her. “Where’s Lo?”

“She picked up a shift at Big Shots. Said something about needing the money.” Tink shrugs. “What are we doing first?”

“Ordering a buffet of dishes from FoodDash,” Rivet says, not taking her eyes off her phone.

“Great! I’m starving,” Tink replies. We order food and decide on a movie to turn on. An hour later, we’ve eaten and started drinking.

“We should play never have I ever,” Sienna recommends.

  “I’m in!” I say.

  “Yes,” Minx shouts.

“I’ve never played before,” Wren admits.

“We each take turns saying something we’ve never done. If you’ve done it at any point in your life, you drink,” Tink explains.

  “Sounds fun, but, uh . . .” Wren pauses. “I can’t drink.”

“Wh—” Sienna’s eyes go wide. “Are you pregnant?” she shouts, a smile stretching across her face.

Wren grins, nodding her head. “We were planning on telling everyone soon.”

“How far along are you,” Minx asks.

  “Twelve weeks today,” she says.

“Well, then you can keep drinking whatever it is you’re drinking while we get drunk.” Rivet laughs. “I’ll go first. Never have I ever danced on a table or bar.”

Tink, Sienna, and I all take a drink.

“Those two have worked in bars.” Minx points to Tink and Sienna. “So, I’m not surprised they have. What’s your story?”

“I got wasted on my twenty-first birthday, and my friends talked me into dancing on a bar,” I tell them.

“My turn. Never have I ever flirted with a police officer in hopes of not getting a ticket,” Tink states.

Minx and Rivet drink while Wren sips her nonalcoholic drink.

  “Wren! Really?” Sienna looks surprised.

“Yeah, I was young and accidentally ran a stop sign, and I didn’t want my dad getting mad at me for getting a ticket. My turn,” she asks. Sienna nods. “Never have I ever done it in a public place.”

All of us, minus Wren and Minx, drink. I high-five Sienna, who’s sitting next to me.

“That’s actually how I met Shade.” Sienna laughs. We go a few more rounds, and I start getting tipsy. Wren’s been dozing off for the past twenty minutes, and Rivet is laying down, ready to pass out any minute.

“Anyone want to go down to the clubhouse and play a game or two of pool,” Minx asks.

  “I’ll go,” I say.

  “Me too,” Tink adds.

“Those two are out for the night.” Sienna points to Rivet and Wren. “I’m with them. I’m exhausted.”

“Suit yourselves. Let's go, girls!” Minx hops up, ready to go. Tink and I follow her out the door.

“Where are you three off to,” Chains asks.

“Back to the clubhouse,” I say, bouncing down the stairs of the porch.

“Ah, fuck,” he mutters. “Wait for me.”

“So, Minx, are you really wanting to play pool, or are you going so you can see Raze?” Tink teases her.

She smirks. “A little of both.”

“I don’t blame you. I would want to spend all my time with my ol’ man if I had one who looked like him and treated me like he treats you.” Tink sighs.

“Are you blind? You have two interested in you who you could choose from,” Minx tells her. I know exactly who she’s talking about, and she’s not wrong.

“I choose one of them, and their relationship will be compromised. I can’t, nor will I, do that to them,” Tink says. The fact she doesn’t want to come between their friendship, their brotherhood, says a lot about the kind of woman she is. They would both be lucky to have her.

“Why not have them both?” I whisper, so Chains doesn’t hear.

Tink groans. “That will only ever be a fantasy. The chances of that actually happening are slim.”

When we get to the clubhouse, there are a couple of guys sitting at one of the picnic tables.

“Hey, Ace. Hey, Ruger. When did y’all get here,” Minx asks. There aren’t many lights on out here, so I can’t see them very well.

“Bout an hour ago,” one of them says.

“Who’s this trouble maker,” the other one asks with a chin lift in my direction.

“This is Marley. She came down from Colorado a few months ago,” she explains to him.

“Marley.” He tests my name on his lips, and the corner of his mouth tips up in a half-smile. “Nice to meet you, I’m Ruger.”

“Nice to meet you, too,” I reply.

“Why don’t y’all come play a game of pool with us,” Tink asks. “Minx is about to ditch us for Raze.”

As if he knew we were talking about him, Raze walks outside.

“There’s my Kitty.” He stalks toward Minx, picking her up by the back of her thighs and kisses her.

“Playing pool will be a lot better than watching these two suck face,” Ace groans. Tink and I laugh as they both stand from the table, Ruger moving to my side.

“How you likin’ Texas,” he asks me.

“Honestly, I never leave the clubhouse to experience it.”

“You’re fuckin’ kidding! We gotta change that,” he says.

We walk into the clubhouse, and my eyes instantly find Rascal. It happens every time I walk into the same room as him. It’s some kind of curse. Naturally, he has a cut bunny with next to no clothes grinding against him. I’m surprised he’s not fucking her right here in the open. His eyes find mine, flashing me his devilish smile. Then his eyes move next to me. His smile goes rigid.

Cherry Pie by Warrant comes on, and I turn to Ruger. “Dance with me?”

His eyes light up with humor and he shrugs. “Sure, why not.”

Ruger grabs my hand, leading me further into the clubhouse and spins me around, so my back is to his front, his hands on my waist. I can feel Rascal’s eyes on me and glance at him. The cut bunny is straddling his lap, and he’s staring daggers at Ruger and I.

  Rascal

Marley dancing with Ruger shouldn’t bother me, especially with Trix grinding on my lap, but it does. Trix leans in, kissing my neck. Once upon a time, it would do something to me. Now, it annoys the hell out of me.

“Wanna take this party back to your room?” Her lips graze my ear, making me grit my teeth. I don’t want to turn her down in front of Marley, but I don’t want her in my fucking room.

“Why don’t we go to your room,” I suggest.

I ‘m not interested in that either, but it’ll be easier to leave than to kick her out of my room.

  Her eyes light up. “Okay.”

She climbs off my lap, grabbing my hand as I stand. I take a long drag off my pen as we walk down the hall.

“Hey, Ras. Lookin’ good, Trix,” Buzz says. “Come find me when you’re done with Rascal.”

“You can have her now.” I nudge her closer to him. “I’m headin’ to bed.”

“Ras, baby, I can come with you,” Trix whines. I ignore her and walk to my room, locking it behind me. Fucking Trix won’t get a certain brunette with dreadlocks out of my mind. I take my shirt off, tossing it into my dirty clothes hamper, taking my jeans off next. I turn the TV on, but I don’t pay attention to what’s on.

It was one thing seeing Marley in that outfit tonight. Then seeing her dancing with Ruger, both pissed me off and turned me on. Imagining her moving her hips against my dick makes me instantly hard. I make my way into the bathroom, turning the shower on. I wait a couple minutes for it to warm up before stepping in. Remembering the way her sexy as sin body moved so fluidly to the music has me reaching for my dick.

Sliding my hand slowly up and back down, I jerk off imagining Marley’s mouth wrapped around my cock. Before I know it, I’m blowing my load on the shower wall. Nothing was relieving about it. I’m left even more frustrated than I was before. There’s gotta be a way to get her out of my system without fucking her.

I finish my shower and get out, drying off as quickly as possible. Grabbing a pair of sweats, I slide them on and climb into bed. I take one last hit off my pen, turn out the light, and pass out.

A week has gone by since I saw Marley and Ruger together. She’s holed herself up in her room again, and I haven’t seen her since. Ruger, on the other hand, I’ve seen every day. The Nomads are in town with no sign of leaving any time soon. They do this every so often. They come back to touch base with Prez and catch up with all the brothers. Right now, Ruger and Reaper are taking advantage of the pool tables.

The scent of bacon and pancakes is coming from the kitchen. Walking in, I’m met with Wren, Tink, and Rivet cooking breakfast.

“Well, isn’t this a beautiful sight,” I tease them.

“Too bad none of it’s for you,” Tink tells me.

I grab my chest, feigning heartbreak. “Tink, you wound me.”

“You heal quickly. Now, get out.” She shoos me away.

I walk out of the kitchen with a chuckle, damn near running into Marley. I smirk. “Hey, Princess.”

She glares at me. “What do you want?”

“Why do I have to want something? Can’t I say hi?”

“No,” she clips. I watch as she walks away without another word.

I shake my head. When I turn around, Trix is walking right for me.

“Hey, baby.” She slides her hands up my chest. “Wanna go have some fun?”

“Not right now, Trix. I got shit to do.” It’s a lie, I just don’t want to do shit with her.

She sticks her bottom lip out in a pout. “That shit doesn’t work on me, Trix. Now, go on somewhere.”

Trix walks away, sulking until she sees her next victim, Bear. He’s all too happy to entertain her.

Ruger walks over to me. “How’s it goin’, Ras?”

  “Not too bad. You?”

“It’s always nice being back here,” he says.

“I don’t know how y’all stay out on the road for so long. I couldn’t do it,” I admit.

“It’s tough sometimes, but we make due. I gotta ask, is there something goin’ on with you and Marley?”

“What? Hell no. Why would you ask that?”

  Ruger laughs. “No reason.”

“Are you interested in her,” I ask. If he’s interested in her, I’ll back off.

“Interested in gettin’ a piece.” He gives a sly smirk.

I chuckle. “Good luck with that.”

I leave the main room and head straight for the gym. If I can’t fuck her out of my system, surely a couple hours in the gym will help. In the locker room, I change into some work out clothes and grab my Bluetooth headphones, popping them in my ears.

I warm up on the treadmill for thirty minutes before I jump in on the punching bag, hitting it until my arms feel like they’re ready to fall off. I get a drink from the water fountain, then jump back on the treadmill. I don’t stop
until I’m interrupted by Sketch and Saint walking in. I grab a towel, drying the sweat off my face. Taking my headphones out, I walk over to Sketch and Saint.

“Working out some sexual frustration?” Saint jabs.

  I flip him off.

“You finished or gonna keep goin’,” Sketch asks.

“I’m done. Been in here for a couple hours now. I need a shower,” I say.

“Damn! Why don’t you go fuck a cut bunny to relieve all your frustration?” Saint runs his mouth.

“It’s gonna be really frustrating for you when I kick your ass if you don’t stop talkin’ shit,” I tell him.

He throws his hands up in defense, laughing. “Alright, alright. All I’m sayin’ is, you could cut the sexual tension with a knife when y’all are in the same room together.”

I shake my head. “See y’all around.”

I walk out of the gym and right into Marley. “Damn it!”

“Watch where you’re going, Romeo,” she shouts.

“I could say the same to you,” I bite out.

“Such an asshole,” she says under her breath, walking away.

“Fuck,” I mutter. I hurry to my room, slamming the door behind me. I want to fucking turn her over my knee for that mouth on her. For every time she throws me sass. I need to get her the hell out of my system, or I’m gonna lose my shit.

  Marley

I storm through the clubhouse and walk outside, where the girls are all hanging out. After Rascal ran into me for a second time today, I needed to get as far away from him as possible. Sadly, the furthest I can get away from him is up to Minx’s house. At least going there allows me to get out from under the same roof as him.

“Why does Rascal have to be such an asshole?” I sit at one of the picnic tables with Sienna, Minx, Wren, Rivet, and Tink.

“That’s how all the Menaces are,” Rivet sighs.

“He’s the only one I have an issue with,” I admit.

“Yeah, ask her who she was flirting and dancing with last night.” Tink laughs.
