No Mate of Mine Page 15

“Mother of God, you’re trying to kill me,” Roger yelled out as his body went into overdrive. Every thrust drew those fingers further into his own body, but to not thrust was to deny the wonder of Cam’s deep throating techniques. By the time Cam had three fingers in him, or was it four, Roger didn’t know and didn’t care, he wanted to come and he wanted to do it now.

“Get inside of me, damn it.”

Any plans Roger might have had when he thought about this moment, had all gone out the window. He thought his mate would be shy and nervous. He’d imagined himself leading Cam through a short make out session before he rode the cock he’d been dreaming about. Ha! Cam was playing him like a beloved instrument, and as for erotic torture, yep, his mate was a master at it. Finesse – gone. Well laid plans – blown to hell. Need, however – Roger had so much he thought he would die from it.

“Please.” Okay now he was begging, but what the hell.

Cam didn’t look at him, didn’t say anything. He carefully withdrew his fingers after scissoring them one more time, leaving Roger open and empty. He let Roger’s cock slide from his lips, giving it one more lick for good measure and then held his cock, lining himself up before pushing inside. Roger tensed. He expected it to hurt and he couldn’t help himself. But it didn’t although Cam froze as soon as he felt Roger’s muscles tighten up.

“Keep going.” Roger managed not to yell this time, although that was a struggle in itself. Breathing out and letting his muscles go lax as he did it, Roger felt Cam slide on home, before stopping once again. That was probably a good thing, Roger thought as he panted in shallow breaths.

Cam was well endowed in comparison to the size of his body and Roger felt strangely full. It wasn’t unpleasant. In fact, as his body stretched to accommodate a foreign object, it started to feel good. Another moment more and it felt really good, and Roger smiled at his mate, who still had a furrowed brow and was looking so serious.

“Move my mate,” he said softly. “Move, and make me yours.”

  Chapter Twenty

Cam wasn’t sure that moving was a good idea. In fact, he figured if he moved any part of his body at all, then he was going to climax in spectacular fashion. Widening his knees a little more, to give himself some balance, Cam gently gripped Roger’s shaft, that was still as hard as ever, and let his hand slide over it, as he swiveled his hips. Fuck. There had to be a gazillion nerve endings on his cock shaft, and every single one of them was tingling. Blow jobs just couldn’t compare, and the only ones of those that Cam had enjoyed had come from his mate.

But this – being fully enclosed, his cock wrapped in a heat he had never experienced before – there was no other feeling like it in the world. Cam was too afraid to move. It wasn’t just the very real possibility of climaxing on the first stroke that had him worried, he didn’t want any part of his cock to miss out on the enticing feeling of being touched all over.

The sincerity in his mate’s eyes though. Roger was so into this, into what he was doing, and it would kill Cam to let his mate down in any way. Taking strength from Roger’s need, Cam moved, pulling out slowly and then sinking into that breathtaking heat with equal care. Roger moaned, tilting his hips up further, sending Cam deeper than before. Cam did it again, a bit faster this time and as he closed his eyes, he felt his wolf rising for the first time ever in this type of situation and instinctively he let his animal spirit take control. Fuck. There were no words to describe how he felt in that moment – it was all…just too much. Trusting in his wolf, Cam let go and let his spirit soar.

  /~/~/~/~/

Roger could see it, feel it, when Cam let his animal control his actions and he couldn’t stop the big assed grin from taking over his face. Cam’s wolf had never had a place in their bed before, probably because of Cam’s submissive nature. But now – man and wolf spirit were linked together in a common goal, and even as Roger gleefully reaped the pleasure of the pounding he was now getting, he couldn’t help but feel so fucking proud of his mate. Cam had come so far, done so well, in just a matter of weeks, and while Roger couldn’t do anything about the mistakes in his past, he vowed in that moment that his mate would get to experience this again and again and again. While Cam was nowhere near as forceful when he plundered Roger’s body, as Roger knew he himself could be, the energy that poured from Cam’s body was intoxicating and Roger got caught up in it.

Together the two men writhed, grunts, moans, and the seductive sound of skin slapping skin as the two men gradually moved faster filling the room. While Roger knew what it was like to fly, as he pounded into somebody else’s body, this…this was so different. The buildup was slower, but somehow more intense – layer upon layer of pleasure, growing with every passing minute. When Cam started to shake, and his thrusts started to get just a bit erratic, Roger lifted his legs even higher, almost doubling his body in half.

A few strokes more, Cam somehow managing to keep stroking Roger’s cock while his hips pumped with such precision. Roger knew he was on the brink and he could sense that Cam wouldn’t be far behind him.

“Bite me,” he grunted. “Bite me hard and make it fucking stick.”

“Love you,” Cam said, his green eyes flashing yellow as his wolf made his presence known. Then Cam dipped his head and Roger caught a flash of teeth before he felt a sharp pain in the crook of his neck. A millisecond later that pain was replaced by unbelievable pleasure and Roger yelled out, unable to hold in the amazing feelings as they swamped his body. Fireworks erupted from every pore of his skin, electricity ran through his veins and his cock – damn his cock exploded, shooting his seed in huge pulses that just didn’t seem to want to stop. Roger had no choice but to just go with it.

Dimly he felt Cam withdraw his teeth, a long howl signaling his pride at claiming his own. Then he heard Cam yell out in pleasure as the man kept moving, every brush across his own prostate sending Roger into further spasms. Above them wolf spirits swirled moving around each other until they came together in the perfect yin and yang – forever bound, never to be parted. This was so much better, so much more than a traditional mating, and in that moment Roger could see why his good friends had done the same thing as he was doing. He had felt complete when he first claimed Cam, but now, as Cam’s body came slowly to a stop and the man slumped over him, Roger felt that all was right in the Universe. He knew he had made the right decision.

For a long time the two men lay in a mess of spunk and sweat, too tired and relaxed to move. Roger was in that dream state between waking and being fully asleep when he felt Cam stir.

“What was this for?” His little mate asked quietly, holding up the dildo that Roger had pulled from his drawer. Roger felt his face flush and he chuckled.

“Yeah, well I thought you might have been a bit reluctant, so I had a bit of a plan going into this,” he admitted, feeling his face heat up even more.

Cam arched his dark eyebrow. “And how did that work for you,” he said with a grin of his own.

“Just perfectly,” Roger said. He wasn’t about to admit to his mate that his plan had gone completely to hell and back about five minutes into Cam’s worship of his body. But then his mate laughed. The little man curled over on Roger’s chest and laughed and laughed, until tears trickled from his eyes.

Roger frowned, and then his face cleared and he joined in. How could he have forgotten? The whole point of getting Cam to claim him. They were mind linked and while Roger knew he would be able to shield his thoughts when necessary, for the moment, experiencing Cam’s happiness was feeding his own and he felt no need to stop.

  Chapter Twenty One

Cam knew he should be nervous and he had waited, anticipated the feelings of knots in his stomach when he and Roger had reported to the Alpha’s office to await Stavia’s arrival. But the expected feelings didn’t come. His wolf was watchful – Cam could feel him restless under his skin. But it was as though, with his wolf watching out for him and Roger beside him, Cam felt nothing more than minor irritati
on. To be honest he was more worried about his mate’s reaction, than anything Stavia might invoke in him. Donoghue had done his worst, and now he was dead. Cam just had this meeting to get over and done with and then Pearson had promised he and Roger would get their three days of bonding, that seemed to keep getting interrupted. They were going back home, and Cam couldn’t wait.

Stavia arrived, dead on time, accompanied by four of his enforcers as befitted the leader of a coven visiting another’s territory. He greeted Pearson and Dante, and then Pearson introduced his enforcers – Kyle, Teric, Devin, Steel and Ace had all been waiting in the office when Cam and Roger had come down. Cam narrowed his eyes, looking at one of Stavia’s enforcers. The man wore aviator glasses and a cap that looked ridiculous on a vampire but Cam’s wolf took notice. Scent didn’t lie.

Cam waited for Stavia and his men to be seated, keeping an eye on the poorly disguised enforcer. Roger had insisted that Cam be kept as far away from the visitors as the office allowed and Cam was having trouble distinguishing between all of the scents, old and new. Someone was also wearing really strong cologne – the bitter and acrylic smell making it difficult to smell anything else.

“Hello Cam,” Stavia said with a polite smile. “Thank you for agreeing to talk to me today. I have done some investigating into Donoghue’s affairs and I am sorely troubled by what I have found. It seemed Donoghue was not alone in his abusive behavior, and while it only affected humans, apart from your good self of course, I need to know what other vampires might have worked with him.”

Cam didn’t think, he just opened his mouth. “You might want to take a look at your enforcers before you look anywhere else.”

Pandemonium broke out. The capped vampire sprung at Cam, claws extended ready to shred him. A shifted wolf, Roger of course, leapt in defense, intercepting the vampire, and tumbling them both to the floor. On both sides enforcers stood ready, wolf and vampire and it looked like an all-out war was starting in Pearson’s office. Both Pearson and Stavia called out, trying to stop the fighting and stop anyone else getting involved, but they couldn’t be heard over the ruckus as Roger and cap man rolled and snarled, blood leaking on both sides as the men tumbled into furniture, legs and anything else that got in their way. So far no one else had attacked, but Cam was worried that it was only a matter of time.

Suddenly a roar sounded out – louder than Pearson, Stavia or anyone else in the room. Cam turned in shock to see Devin, snarling in rage. But it wasn’t the sweet, beautiful submissive Devin that Cam was used to. Devin had fully shifted and now stood head and shoulders above everyone else in the room. At least eight foot tall, Devin was double the width he was before. His normally sweet violet eyes were bright red, and his wickedly sharp looking fangs had to hang an inch below his lips.

Without looking at anyone else, Devin reached down, grabbing the previously cap clad vampire, in one set of lethal looking claws and picked him up, the man’s feet waving around in the air. Then Cam felt those red eyes land on him and as much as he wanted to help his mate get up off the floor, Devin had a compelling gaze and Cam couldn’t look away.

“He hurt you?” Devin’s words sounded garbled and Cam could barely understand him, but he nodded.

“Then Roger kill him,” Devin said simply, holding the vampire out like a piñata.

Cam thought Roger would immediately jump forward, but instead the big shaggy wolf looked at Pearson. Who looked at Stavia. Who looked at Devin holding his enforcer and then at Cam. Then Stavia nodded, and Pearson nodded and finally Roger leapt, tearing the vampire’s body from his head, leaving Devin holding onto the man’s skull and not much else. Devin wrinkled his nose, and dropped the head where it rolled a couple of times before coming to a stop by the leg of Pearson’s desk.

“I need my mate,” Devin said, looking around, still in his vampire form. But Ace was already coming forward, a shy grin on the normally rugged face. Devin didn’t say anything. He just picked Ace up and threw him over his shoulder, heading for the door. One of Stavia’s enforcers, who was closer to the door than anyone else, opened it and the two men were gone.

“Well there’s a lucky wolf,” Stavia commented after the door was closed again and there was that feeling in the room as if no one knew what to do next. Cam didn’t care what anyone else was doing, he ran over to Roger who was still in wolf form. Hugging the big wolf tightly, he ran his hands over the fur, some places matted with blood, but Roger didn’t seem to have any open wounds.

Are you okay? He asked carefully not wanting to embarrass his mate’s tough image in front of other enforcers, or vampires.

Never better little wolf. But I am going to stay in wolf form until this meeting is over. I don’t trust any of them. Roger’s wolf licked up Cam’s face and Cam giggled. He couldn’t help it, Roger’s tongue was wet and sloppy and it tickled. Looking around for a chair, Cam saw Pearson looking at him.

“I think we’ll finish this meeting in the private dining room,” Pearson said. “While someone cleans this mess off my fucking carpet.”

Cam, holding tightly to Roger’s ruff, followed the other men out of the office, through the club and into a side room that he hadn’t noticed before. As he went inside he could see a large round table, set for a meal, with at least sixteen chairs around it. Cam made to go to a small couch that was sitting at the end of the room, but Pearson indicated he was to sit next to him at the table, with Steel on the other side of him. Cam moved his chair slightly so that Roger could sit beside him, the big wolf leaning on his leg. After a long moment, where everyone was getting themselves seated, and sorted, Stavia looked at Cam and Pearson and gave a small smile. The normally confident man looked more than a little uncomfortable.

“Right, apparently I had a problem in my enforcers, which has been taken care of. Thanks to your mate, and your resident vampire. I will of course, pay for the cleaning of your office carpet.”

Pearson waved it off. “I could have asked Devin to take your man out onto the wooden floors, but I don’t like to interfere when he’s is in one of his moods.”

“His moods, yes.” Stavia looked like he’d swallowed a lemon. “Does he often act like that?”

“Only when a pack member or his mate is threatened,” Dante said smoothly from his position on the other side of Pearson. “We’ve all got quite used to it and his mate seems to love it.”

“He must be very old,” Stavia said, still lost in thought. “I’ve never seen anyone shift into a vampire of that size before.”

“He’s over five hundred years old,” Pearson said. “He likes it here, he is mated to one of my enforcers and he isn’t moving to New York, if that’s what you’re thinking.”

“No, no, of course not,” Stavia said, shaking his head. “I was actually wondering if you could, er, keep him away from New York and my coven. I like my territory, but I’m only two hundred and fifty years old myself. Everyone else in my home is younger. You can see the difficulty.”

“And you can see mine,” Pearson said, mischief written all over his face. “If Devin wants to visit New York, I’m not stopping him. But I’m sure you won’t have any worries. He is happy where he is.”

“Right, well that’s good.” Straightening himself up, Stavia looked at Cam. “Now, from what I have been able to sort out in Donoghue’s paper work, there were six vampires, plus Donoghue himself, who frequented his club. You took care of Murphy and your mate took care of Hans, but that still leaves another four, who are apparently living in my coven. I want them found and killed for what they did.”

“Why do you care?” Cam surprised himself by asking. “You mostly feed on humans. No humans were fed from in that club that I could see. All of the vampires fed from me after playing their sick little games. Donoghue’s human subs have been taken somewhere safe and none of them are coming after me again, so I don’t see what the problem is.”

Roger licked his hand, and Cam stroked the fur on his mate’s head, loving the softness and the sheer size of th
e wolf’s skull. It spoke of the strength Roger had in spades. He had no doubt that Hans would have been dead without Devin’s help, if they hadn’t been rolling around in an office.

“These men were cruel to you, another paranormal,” Stavia said. “You’re right in that there was no evidence of their abusing any humans through the club, but what they did to you was still wrong. I want to stop that happening again.”

“But it won’t make any difference to me,” Cam cried out. “What’s done is done, and yeah while I know the whole wolf thing of taking a life as punishment and all that stuff, I just want to be left alone.”

“I think what Cam is trying to say,” Pearson interjected smoothly, “is that if you have problems in your coven with abusive vampires, then that is something you are going to have to sort out for yourself. He can probably give you an indication of the scents you are looking for, but in most cases Cam didn’t see who it was that was violating him or feeding from him without permission. He is entitled to retribution though, I presume from Donoghue’s estate at least.”

“You’re right,” Stavia said with a sigh. He reached into his smart suit jacket pocket and pulled out a long envelope, flicking it across the table at Cam. Cam looked at it like it was an unexploded bomb and then looked up at Pearson. Pearson smiled kindly and picked up the envelope, opening it, and pulling out a sheaf of papers.

“I have liquidated all of Donoghue’s estates, and Murphy’s,” Stavia said, while Pearson was reading. “Neither man had offspring or living family in the area, so the whole lot goes to you. As I didn’t think you would want to come to New York again, I have taken the liberty of selling the New York properties and contents, the Club and emptying their accounts, so you get all of that in cash. We just need details of a bank account and it will be transferred to you.”
