Island Jumper 2 Page 23

by M H Ryan

I closed my eyes and reached my extra sense out to the ocean, feeling the static, but if I concentrated, I could single out a fish or a crab. I didn’t feel the cats. Then I felt something larger out there. Maybe a shark, but I wasn’t good enough to tell exactly what it was yet. If I kept practicing and working the muscle, I thought I could get to that point. Also, I seemed to be able to send that mental bullet to the watcher. Deep into my extra sense, I felt something that shot my eyes wide open.

I ran to the shore, Eliza following behind, alarmed, and Cass looking confused. Moshe ran alongside us just for the excitement.

I stared into the waters, knowing that we were about to be attacked. I felt it to my core.

The watcher had returned and brought an army with it. They were coming for blood.

  About the Author

  Author’s Note:

Thanks for ready book 2 of the Island Jumper series. This is such a fun book to write. I hope you are enjoying the series as much as I am writing it. I am currently hard at work on book 3 and hope to have it out sometime in late March. I love how book 3 is turning out and the growth that Jack is going to have by the end of the book, is a series changer.
