Alec: #11 (Luna Lodge: Hunters of Atlas) Page 5

by Madison Stevens

Hope moaned. It wasn’t so much the taste of herself but knowing he had put it there that set her whole body on fire. She didn’t expect this to happen when she had agreed to the dinner, but now she wouldn’t have it any other way. Not to mention the orgasm she’d just experienced had been far better than any she’d ever had with another man, let alone from just her hand.

Maybe Alec was magic. It certainly felt that way when he’d been inside her. At that moment, she believed everything she’d been told about the Vestal-hybrid connection. Only a man with that kind of connection to her could make her feel like that.

Alec tugged on her jeans, trying to get them the rest of the way off. She obliged by wriggling her way out of them. Now that her legs were free once again, Alec pressed against her, rock hard. His cock was hot beneath his jeans, and he was far longer and thicker than she expected.

Hope gasped as he lifted her off the counter. She pulled back from the kiss, her legs still wrapped tightly around his middle and arms around his neck.

  “Bedroom,” he said gruffly.

Without another word, Alec marched out of the kitchen and to a closed door. He flung open the door and stepped into the darkness as the door bounced against the wall from the force of his opening and swung back to close.

It was pitch black. There were no windows in this part of the compound. There was only the faintest hint of light from the crack at the bottom of the door, but her eyes hadn’t adjusted yet. Hope yelped when she felt her body being leaned back.

“I’m putting you on the bed,” Alec whispered.

Hope looked up and could just make out his face under the bright illumination of his beautiful blue eyes. They glowed in the darkness, pulling her to him.

Hope lay back against the bed and watched as he leaned back and stepped away, his eyes fixed on her. She heard rather than saw his pants as they hit the floor and licked her lips. Her heart hammered in her chest. He was getting naked. His eyes disappeared for a moment as he whipped off his shirt.

She wished she could see all of him. For so long, she’d fantasized about what he looked like. Now she had the chance, and she couldn’t even make out the outline of his body.

“This hardly seems fair,” she pouted. “You can see me, but I can’t see you.”

Hope managed to make out the corners of his eyes crinkling and hear the chuckle just before he flipped on the bedside lamp. She blinked several times as her eyes adjusted, trying to take in all she could.

Alec wasn’t totally naked. He had stripped out of the pants and shirt but still wore his boxer briefs, although the large bulging mass there left nothing to the imagination. His body, however, was just as she’d imagined. It was as if he was sculpted by gods.

Seeing him like that made her self-conscious of her own body. Hope was good-looking enough, but there was pretty and then there was next level. The hunger in Alec’s eyes said he didn’t see it that way. The way he looked at every inch of her made her feel desired, like she was the only woman that mattered in the world. His Vestal.

Alec stood there, not moving, his lower half clearly aching to be freed. Hope licked her lips nervously and sat up slightly. She slipped her soft blue t-shirt over her head, leaving just her panties and bra. His eyes pinned her as she reached behind her back to unclasp the bra. The fabric fell away, freeing her breasts from their confines.

A deep rumble came from Alec as his gaze shifted to take in all of her body. His cock twitched in his underwear. It shouldn’t have been so hot, but it was. Knowing she excited him that much made her feel bold in ways she’d never experienced. Hope leaned forward and ran a hand over his length. It was just as hot and large as it seemed. Alec jumped back from her touch.

“Fuck, you’re going to make me come before I’m even inside you,” he muttered.

Hope’s pussy spasmed at the desperation in his voice. She stared into his eyes as she reached down and slowly slid her panties down her legs. When they hit the floor, she spread her legs open on either side of him. Her juices ran out of her and down to the crack of her ass.

“You better get inside me before that happens.”

  Chapter Eight

This woman was going to be the death of Alec, but it would be a great death. He yanked his underwear off as quickly as he could and slipped between her legs. The hot, wet folds of her pussy slid along his hard shaft. He wanted to be inside her more than anything, but he also wanted to prolong their joining.

He leaned back a little and lifted her legs up slightly, watching his hard length as it rested between her pussy lips. It was already glistening from her and how wet she was. Alec slid along her, his head bumping against her clit but never going inside. Hope moaned loudly and shifted her hips around as he moved. Her hands gripped the blanket on the bed.

“Alec,” she hissed, as he hit her sweet spot once again. “Please. I need you. I can’t wait any longer.”

He tightened his grip against her hips. Fuck if that wasn’t just the thing he wanted to hear. He needed her, and he had for a long time.

Alec shifted his hips back slightly and placed his tip just inside her folds, not quite entering her. Hope shifted a little, and they both moaned as his thick head pushed past her opening. He moved his hips forward slowly. Her tight pussy was clearly trying to accommodate his girth, and more than anything, he wanted them both to enjoy tonight, if only so they could do it again and again.

He moaned when Hope’s hands grasped his ass and pushed him in faster than he’d been moving. He slipped in almost all the way with ease. Hope moaned loudly and shifted her hips around. Alec could see stars from trying to hold himself steady. She needed this moment. Hell, he did.

Hope’s hands pushed against his hips, and Alec bit down on his tongue. It had been too much. He hoped he hadn’t hurt her. This time when she pulled him forward, Alec let out a shout as he ended up firmly against her pussy, his cock buried completely inside.

“What the fuck, Hope?” His eyes found hers, and he was surprised to see nothing but lust there.

“Sorry,” she whispered. “I just needed more.”

Alec opened his mouth to respond but instead leaned down to capture hers in a searing kiss. His hips shifted between her legs, pressing him in at different angles. Hope moaned against his mouth and dug her nails into his ass. This woman was going to ruin him. He’d never want to get out of bed again with this sort of enthusiasm.

The man was large. No question of that at all. Hope would have thought it might hurt a bit more than it did, but instead all she could think was how she just wanted him to move inside and fill her. When Alec pulled out and slipped back in, she moaned and shifted her hips to meet him. His bright blue eyes flared up. The more he moved, the faster she pushed him to go.

“More,” she whispered as he slapped against her. “I need more.”

Alec let out a loud growl, and for a moment, she thought she’d pissed him off when he pulled out suddenly. The loss of him was almost painful. She almost cried out for him to enter her again before he flipped her onto her stomach, her knees pulled back to the bed’s edge and her ass thrust in the air.

He filled her again. Hope shivered as her insides squeezed him hard. This time Alec didn’t hold back, growling as he slammed into her. His fingers bit into her hips, and he continued to hammer into her.

Hope’s climax was coming. She could feel the crest of the orgasm and already knew it was going to be one hell of an orgasm. Her insides quivered, a precursor quake to the big finale.

  “So close,” she mumbled.

“Same,” Alex managed between his growls.

He sped up after uttering the single word. The wet sounds of his cock slipping into her filled the room. Hope reached between her legs and rubbed her clit. Her last bits of resistance failed her, and her insides squeezed Alec. He slammed into her a few more times before shouting his own release. His cock twitched against her own orgasm, fueling it longer. Each of them drew out the release as long as they could. Hope let o
ut a long, slow moan.

Still inside her, Alec laid on her back. Their bodies were slick from perspiration. Hope wanted to say something, but it all seemed trite at this point. It hadn’t just been good, and they both knew it. The fact was that what happened between them had been beyond either of them. It was clear as day.

Destiny, fate, whatever they wanted to call it. It was the bonding of a Vestal and a hybrid. The two of them were made to be together. Her very soul seemed to know that, and the satisfaction filling her overwhelmed the few bits of logical thought that dared to argue there was no such thing as a soul mate.

“Stay the night with me,” Hope mumbled. “I want you by my side when I wake up.”

She felt him slip out of her and roll over to the side. A trail of his seed slipped out from between her legs, but she was far too tired to do much about it.

“Well, that makes it easy,” Alec said.

Hope frowned. “Makes what easy?” She turned her head and found him lying there staring at her.

“I’m going to move in with you. That has been the plan all along, but now there’s no holding back at all.” Alec grinned.

  Hope blinked. “Move in?”

Alec frowned. “I would think after what we just shared that should be no problem. I think you can’t have any doubts about me at this point.”

After what they had shared. He was right of course. She’d just gotten done thinking about fate and destiny, but now this was freaking her out? It was absurd to harbor doubts.

Alec reached out and ran a hand down her cheek. “It will be okay. You can count on me.”

For the first time ever, Hope actually believed it would be okay. She pressed forward and offered a kiss. When she pulled away, Alec smiled brightly back.

  “I trust you,” she whispered.

  Chapter Nine

Alec moved around the dark room as quietly as he could manage. They had only gotten a few hours of sleep thanks to the night’s activities, not that he was upset. There were far worse ways to lose sleep, but he didn’t want his Vestal to be exhausted in the morning.

Hope stirred in the sheets and sat up. “Are you leaving?” she asked sleepily, concern in her voice.

Alec’s jaw tightened. He had already showered and was wearing clean clothes. Of course she’d be concerned. He needed to reassure her.

He made his way over to the bed and stared down at the beauty there. Her lips were still red from their kisses. He leaned down and softly kissed her mouth. She took in a sharp breath, and he growled quietly.

His instincts screamed at him, and he wanted nothing more than to be able to crawl back into bed with her and take her once again. Instead, he pulled back and swept the hair out of her face, letting out another growl of frustration, not lust.

“Go back to sleep,” Alec murmured. “I’m on duty tonight, including helping Rem with the last of the moves from our old place to here.”

Hope lay back against the bed but didn’t close her eyes. “I know you have to go, but I hate it. I hate that this is even happening.”

Alec nodded. She wasn’t the only one. It seemed like it was always something. All they wanted was to live a quiet, peaceful life. It’s why they had come to a place so out of the way and rural, but fate had drawn them to the Azilians and the stone.

“You’ll be careful?” Hope asked. She sat up, the blanket falling over her firm breasts as she wrapped her arms around his neck. He could still smell their lovemaking as it clung to her skin. It was intoxicating.

This time when Alec captured her mouth it was with all the hunger he still felt inside. When he pulled back, Hope’s eyes were still closed. She was savoring the moment.

“I’ll come back to you no matter what,” Alec whispered.

It was a bold promise, but he wasn’t going to lose what he loved again. Alec didn’t fully know the life he had before, but he knew what he had now, and no one was taking that from him. He didn’t care if he had to battle a whole damn army of evil gods to keep his freedom and his woman. With renewed purpose, he stood.

“Get some sleep,” Alec said. “You’re going to need the rest later.”

He smirked at her gasp. Good. She knew what he was referring to, and he sure as hell planned on keeping that promise. He didn’t doubt the importance of his duty, but he doubted anything would happen tonight. So, it’d just be a matter of staving off boredom until he could return to his woman.

Alec made his way out of the little apartment. There were a number of other hybrid couples with living quarters placed in the strange layout. It was almost like an underground silo with bunkers for each of them. Of course that was what the Azilians had been hoping, for a building filled with bonded hybrids.

He shook his head. He still couldn’t make heads or tails of the whole situation. Anassa and her henchmen were certainly weird and had earned little trust, but the women seemed to be pawns in a much bigger game. One none of them were really privy to. For now, the Azilians were allies, but that could end at any moment.

Alec could see why Rem was losing sleep. Nothing about the situation provided clear-cut answers, but at least in the underground bunker, the hybrids and their women would be safe from the godsons.

Everything was quiet as Alec made his way back up to the main level. A solid door provided a final barrier, guarded by a huge hybrid, Sergius. Alec nodded to him on his way out. The hybrid had demanded to be the last line of defense, and it made sense considering his size. He was the largest of all the hybrids. It offered Alec some comfort knowing the other man was there to guard their women.

Alec jogged up the stairs until he reached the main hall. There, a few of Anassa’s men strolled the ground, all but hidden in their brown robes. None of the men ever spoke to the hybrids without her direction. Maybe they had been told not to.

Ignoring the men, Alec made his way outside and into the trees surrounding the compound and farther out until he arrived at the border between their own land and that of the Azilians. It was still a lot of ground to cover, but by the morning, there would be no one left in the hybrids’ territory. That way, they could focus on fortifying the compound. It only made sense.

Alec slowed as he spotted a man in the darkness with a familiar scent, Nero. The other hybrid stared off into the forest as if some unknown force was calling him.

  “Everything in order?” Alec asked.

Nero didn’t speak before turning to look at him with a slight frown. “Did you get any sleep at all?”

The corners of Alec’s mouth twitched. The other man wasn’t much for cracking jokes, and this was about as close as it got.

“Sleep’s for rest and energy,” Alec said. “I’m energized from something else.”

Nero snorted. “Did you really just imply you’ve been energized by the power of fucking?”

This time Alec did laugh. “Well, at least I didn’t tell you I’m drunk on love.”

Nero shook his head but paused mid-shake, his eyes narrowing. “You hear that?”

Alec didn’t growl, even though he wanted to. There was something to their right, far enough away that he might have mistaken it for some nocturnal animal, but there was something else there, an unnatural crunch. He inclined his head in that direction. The wind blew the other way, concealing the invader’s scent and carrying theirs.

Nero nodded, and the pair headed toward the noise. Whatever was out there knew how to move without being found, and it could only mean one thing. There was a godson nearby.

A surprise attack was their best option. Alerting the rest of their group would normally be a priority, but there didn’t seem to be more than one enemy. It was likely a scout monitoring their activity. Their own scouts watching the godsons were having to maintain a farther than normal distance as not to be discovered. This enemy scout had ventured closer to their land for a reason, and they needed to know why. At minimum, removing one additional foe from the opposing force would be worth it.

Any good scout would know there were on
ly a few hybrids on their land, and those that were around were able-bodied and ready to fight. It didn’t make sense to come in closer.

Nero nodded to one side and Alec the other. They would come at the godson from both sides. It was about the only way they knew to attack them. And even then, it would likely be a hell of a fight. Their enhanced hybrid sight let them pick out the huge man in the distance.

The godson moved closer to the meeting house, and Alec frowned. It seemed like a terrible plan to try and spy on the one place he was sure to be detected. If it were a normal Glycon that would be one thing, but the godsons weren’t mere beasts.

Nero moved into position across the way. Alec gave a nod to the other man. They had used this tactic more than a few times. The hybrid closest to the protected object would go first, while the other hung back, granting the hybrids an upper hand when the opponent tried to flee.

Just as Nero stepped forward, the godson snapped his head in Alec’s direction. His sharp red eyes stared at the hybrid. Alec gritted his teeth. The bastard had sensed him before he’d even made a move.

The godson burst toward Alec. Like lightning, he was on the hybrid. Alec threw up an arm, but the godson’s hands wrapped around his neck as they collided. They fell to the ground.

Alec struggled against the hard earth and the heavy man on top of him trying to squeeze the life out of him. The godson was strong. His hands had a tight grip on Alec’s windpipe, and if he didn’t hurry, Alec likely wouldn’t be awake to see what came next.

The godson grunted loudly. His grip loosened. Another grunt followed and Alec finally noticed Nero behind the enemy. The hybrid slammed an elbow into the godson’s back. The godson released Alec’s throat.

Alec gulped in air as if it were water. His body moved into action, and he shoved the man off and rolled away. He couldn’t spend time thinking about how his throat burned or the damage that was done. It would take both hybrids to take down this menace.
