She carried the whole way. She does not know why, is it because Tyler hit Jake or Tyler kissed Sophie?
Alice told her that, Jake was yelling on him and they saw him and Sophie together in room. She was confused.
After Tyler get downstairs. He was getting juice glass for Kate
Someone call him from back.
“Hey handsome you look very hot” it was Sophie, wearing two strip floor-length yellow gown. She liked Tyler and dating him secretly. Because of him, she asked Jake for the prom.
Tyler was at Sophie’s home early that evening.
“Thank you Sophie, where’s yours date?” Tyler said in attitude as he turns to her
Then Sophie says “buying me chocolates??” and move close to him.
“Thought you’d hate peanut chocolates” Sophie said smiling; music was load and little light on them.
“How’d you know…? I just hate peanuts…not chocolate” Tyler said with charming smile.
“I need your help with something if you please” Sophie said, swipe her finger in pudding then lick it and move toward other room Tyler follows looking around.
“This is the last thing I done for you rider” Sophie said as Tyler enter the room she pushed him against wall.
Tyler kissed her “I can’t believe I waste my special night with that jerk” Sophie said.
The door was closed and behind the door Jake was standing listening to her. He was about to open the door but stop, he asked about her in the party and Paul said he saw her going in to the corner class.
He heard that, his heart crushed. He felt pain in his chest, a tear drop in his cheek he realizes that she is with someone.
He decides to leave thinking it’s best for him to leave this party. Before he moves, he heard the voice that is not stranger for him.
“I’m sorry babe! I never do that again…I just want to degrade his friend” Tyler said.
“Did you kiss her?” Sophie asked.
Tyler laughs and said, “Gee ... are you jealous sweet heart?”
“c’mon…tell me rider,” Sophie asked stubbornly.
“No way…she boring like her friend…I think they can make out with each other only…” Tyler said and they laugh.
Jake can ignore that Sophie cheat him but he cannot tolerate anything about Kate. He pushed the door and punched Tyler without thinking about his reaction.
Sophie moved away, she get frightened. Tyler saw him and crash his jaws, then takes off coat and start beating Jake like he knows how to box, Jake was bleeding when Kate come downstairs to save him.
“How’s Jake Doc? Is he awake? Did he stop bleeding? He’s going to be all right…right?” Kate starts yelling a she saw Dr. Drew coming out of Operation Theater.
“Calm down Kate! He’s OK…he’s sleeping” Dr. Drew said putting his hand on Kate’s shoulder.
Kate hugs him and start crying. Then she saw Tyler coming with his father.
She yells “how dare you to show your face to me again!! Call the police Doc, he’s the one... He’s the one who hit Jake that bad…call the police Doc don’t just calm me down, why didn’t you tell the police...You’re going to jail I promise you that”
“Quite Kate, it’s my hospital” Dr. Drew shouts trying to calm her; Tyler’s father put his hand on his shoulder, he stop.
Tyler can feel she was burning she didn’t look him for a second.
“Come with me Tyler” Dr. Drew said and move toward his office with Tyler and his dad.
Tyler look back as walking Kate saw him with hatred then turn her eyes away and sit on the chair in the corridor. She covers her face with her hands and start crying.
Tyler and his dad was in Dr. Drew office, Dr. Drew take a deep breath then said “Dan he needs to go”
“What Alex… are you serious?” Mr. Dan Flaws asked in surprise.
“Alex you know it’s just a kid fight he didn’t do it on purpose” Mr. Dan Flaws said.
“Dan… he got a dislocated elbow and serious injuries on his forehead and on his left jaw, if he lose a little more blood…he’ll be in comma…of course it was not on purpose” dr. Drew said looking at Tyler ,who down his head
Then after a moment he continues “But Kate won’t stop saying that he did it on purpose because she care about Jake so much...” Dr. Drew stop as Tyler push his chair and leave the room.
“Because of that girl we can’t stop it Alex you know this is very important for us.” Mr. Dan Flaws said.
“She’s also my responsibility, her grandfather make me responsible for her, I can’t let anything happen too her. And after that she won’t let Tyler came near to her or Jake... She is now become so sensitive about him. I don’t think so she ever forgives Tyler and I saw something in Tyler’s eyes and… he can’t bear Kate’s hatred. It’s for Tyler’s own good” Dr. Drew said.
“I’ll talk to him… he’s too strong for this kind of stuff Alex” Mr. Dan Flaws said.
“Strong…Dan he’s a kid… and it’s his first time…Kate is not just a girl for him…” Dr. Drew said then down his head and continues
“I see something in Tyler’s eyes today… fear…to lose, somehow he knows that Kate will never see him again and it’s killing him…”
“He’s my son Alex… I know hi...”
“He’s Joanne’s son too and …you know what that means…its best for him to leave…she will understand with time” Dr. Drew said, and then look down on reports.
Tyler listen everything from behind the door. Then move toward corridor where Kate was seating. But now she was gone. Tyler down his head and put his hand in his pants pocket and left.
Mr. Dan Flaws look at Dr. Drew “what” Dr. Drew asks as he feels it.
“You sure it is because of Kate... Or you are becoming fath...” Mr. Dan Flaws interrupt by Dr. Drew as he said “it’s because of her... And you know it Dan”
She is sitting right next to Jake thinking why Doc did not takes action against Tyler and put him in jail.
She was lost in thoughts then She see, Jake was waking up. The first thing Jake look was Kate
“Morning! Sleeping beauty …you sleep for too long…lazy bones” Kate said putting a smile on her face tries to cheer Jake but then Jake cannot keep his tears, they fall.
“Sorry…I crushed …your night” Jake said with breaking voice “do not too much … forget it…I know ... I know everything Jake” Kate said putting her hand on Jake’s hand
She really trying to hold her tears, but when Jake heard it, he loses. His tears speed up he says in breaking words
“You know…she…ha…hate m…me…she…do...don’t.
“I know Jake…let it go…take it out…I’m here …I’m with you” Kate said she was crying.
Her tear falls on her cheeks. She kissed on Jake’s head then holds his hand so tight. At that moment, Jake let his all pain out.
She put her head on Jake’s chest and they both cried. They both lose everything and there heart crushed down.
