It all starts with self belief rooted in God!

“And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.

For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.” Mark 11:22-24

Mark 11:22-24 was no doubt the favorite scripture of the late Rev. Kenneth Hagin. He was raised from death bed after the application of that scripture and fulfilled an outstanding ministry that has greatly impacted our present known world.

Let us consider a phrase in that Mark 11 verse 23 “…and shall not doubt in HIS HEART, but shall believe that those things which HE SAITH shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever HE SAITH”

What many believers have failed to grasp is that our duty and responsibility in life includes having and exercising absolute faith not only in God but equally and importantly in our own self and in our own words too! Mark 11:23 is simply saying that you must believe what you say, and you can have what you say! And who said you cannot? You are God’s masterpiece made worthy in Christ Jesus. Yes you can have what you say! You can! You can!

Self distrust and ignorance has left the natural man largely unprepared to believe and receive the life giving words of the living God. It is practically impossible for faith or belief to grow in an atmosphere of self condemnation. Sin consciousness devalued man after the fall. All his thoughts became colored with a sense of inferiority, his ability to believe God had been impaired.

Man’s redemption through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ made him a new creature recreated with the nature of God imparted into him, and translated from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of God’s dear Son. Through union with Jesus Christ the new man regained the once lost right standing he had with God, he now has right standing or righteousness with God as his present possession! He need not wait till he gets to heaven to be righteous neither should he fear or entertain any form of condemnation. The rebirth of a man into this kingdom has conferred upon him the spirit of worth! The new man is a treasured possession and the apple of God’s eye! Hallelujah! The worthy Lamb was sacrificed for us so that we may live worthy lives!

A man who operates in self doubt is plagued with double mindedness. He cannot be of much value when he is challenged to believe the words of others. He who doubts himself and his own words can and will doubt the Words of God and of others without apology or second thought!

Have the God kind of faith! As far as you are concerned it all starts where you are and where you stand! Everything begins with your personal assessment and evaluation of the thing in question. Just like Adam, God is allowing everything to pass before you again, how will you name them? Your present situations, how have you labeled them? What have you called your present state and what life has dealt to you lately? You have the power to name everything that life makes to pass before you. That’s an awful lot of power, don’t you think so?
