Her Earth Mates Page 7

She could feel every inch of him, and the motion of him inside of her spiraled with every move as if she were nothing but nerves, feeling, sensing, building higher and higher toward pure bliss. Reaching under her back, Yansa flattened his palm to her skin and pulled her up to a sitting position. Still inside of her, they sat, staring at each other, feeling as if there was a rope connecting them directly into the heart. Keeping eye contact, Yansa pulled her into his lap. She put one hand down on the ground and leaned back, letting her head fall as she ground against him. He held her hips tightly, the sounds of their moans and groans creating a song within their purple hazed cocoon.

As Althea began to feel herself losing all control, she gripped tightly to the back of Yansa’s neck and pulled herself up, still moving on top of him as their foreheads touched and their eyes locked once again. She moved up and down, rubbing her clit against him. Her mouth dropped open as her body began to fill again, feeling the sensation even stronger than before.

“Yes,” he whispered. “Let yourself go. Let it all go.”

“Oh,” she moaned, moving faster against as he reached around and gripped her ass tightly.

Both of their breathing became labored, and the purple aura began to shimmer, pulsing stronger and stronger. As Althea reached her top speed, the whole world stopped around them, everything was in complete suspension as the spark inside of her turned to fire. She let out a low deep whimper as her head flew back and her body stiffened. Yansa groaned loudly and thrusted his hips, pushing deep inside of her.

They gripped on tightly to each other, simultaneously exploding in orgasm. As they did, the aura shot out in all directions and reigned down on them in the form of small sparkling orbs. As the ecstasy began to wane, Althea slowly lifted her head, Yansa supporting the back of her neck with his hand. They stared into each other’s eyes as the last of the aura glittered and sparked around them, returning to the Earth.

Althea smiled and chuckled, shaking her head. “Wow. Do you do that with all the girls?”

Yansa chuckled as they slid down, laying their bodies on the cool leaves. He pulled his arm around her belly and tugged her in closely, his lips by her ear. “I saved myself for you.”

Althea glanced back at him. “They really show you everything in Shaman class then.”

They both laughed, laying there, catching their breaths, enjoying the last few moments of the “freedom” that Althea had desperately needed to feel. Yansa took in a deep breath and lifted his head, running his finger down her arm. “We should…”

From across the forest, coming from the direction of the camp, Althea and Yansa could hear the loud roar of Minco’s Bear. They both jumped up and looked around, the haze of aura no longer lighting the forest bed.

“Shit,” Althea hissed, preparing herself to shift. “We couldn’t hear them because we weren’t in our Bear forms. Something’s happening.”

Althea was running before she had even completely turned into her Bear. They both took off through the woods, using their senses to find their way back to the camp. They bobbed and weaved through the brush, jumping over fallen trees and crashing straight through the veil of vines. As they made their appearance, they came to a halting stop, finding Minco and Billy both fighting off two large Tigers. While the Tigers were smaller than the Bears, they were much stronger and more agile. They were sleek and strong, their muscles composing most of their body. They weren’t creatures that stored fat, something that often slowed the Bears down.

Billy and Minco were no slouches. They were both extremely strong, fit, and moved quicker than any other Bears that Yansa had seen. But still, going up against those two large Tigers who were obviously trained to fight, Billy and Minco found themselves struggling to keep up. The sounds of yelps and roars seemed to beat endlessly against Althea’s brain. With every sound and every swipe, her anger grew stronger and stronger.

She stepped forward, watching Minco as he turned away from her, swiping at one of the Tigers. Diagonally across his back was a large deep scratch, the blood seeping down his fur and onto the ground. Next to him Billy wrestled with the other Tiger, every move an attempt not to limp or fall on his injured leg. Suddenly, Althea felt like she was in slow motion. Everything went silent in her head and all she could see was the pain and injury that the Tigers were inflicting on her mates.

The rage continued to build, filling Althea’s Bear from top to bottom. She could feel the energy flowing through her entire body, scratching inside of her, trying to get out in any way possible. Without even a thought, as if her Bear had taken completely over, understanding her powers better than her, it lifted high up into the air, before falling forward slamming its paws against the ground. From the corner of her eye she could see Yansa watching, his eyes wide, a look of shock even on his Bears face. As the pads of her feet sunk into the damp ground below, a radiating blast erupted all around her. A wave of energy surged from beneath her, rolling the Earth, sending a translucent surge straight toward Minco, Billy, and the Tigers.

Deep in the background, as if he were miles away, Althea could hear Yansa yelling out in their heads. His words moved slowly, as she watched the wave disrupting the field of energy around them, inching its way toward the animals. “Minco, Billy, get down!”

Both of the Bears looked back at them, and dropped quickly to their stomachs. Althea watched, her eyes glued on the two Tigers who finally looked over seeing both Althea and Yansa for the first time. They had been so engrossed in their battle that they hadn’t noticed the two of them entering the arena. Both sets of eyes shifted from Althea to the wave surging straight for them. However, before they could even move an inch, it hit them both hard, knocking the Tigers up off of their feet and sending them soaring through the air, only stopping as they slammed against the trees. The Tigers bodies bent in unnatural ways, the sound of their bones cracking loudly.

Althea had always been strong and brave, but as a human, she wasn’t very good when it came to blood, guts, or the sound of bones breaking. However, in her rage and power, she could feel a satisfaction from the sound within her chest. As the Tigers fell to the ground, setting hard against the base of the trees, they quickly morphed back into their humans. The naked foreign bodies lay still at the base of the trees, unable to hold their Shifter forms with the type of injuries they most likely incurred.

Billy, Minco, and Yansa looked over at Althea with both shock and a slight bit of fear. None of them had ever seen anyone do that before. Even Yansa looked surprised. But Althea hadn’t taken her eyes off of the Tigers, her rage creating tunnel vision. Those glaring beautiful eyes, weren’t like what they were before. They were glowing brightly, shifting from yellow to green and back again. They were so illuminated that from a distance they just seemed like orbs of light against her dark Bear body.

Althea began to walk toward the Tigers. With every step, her body seamlessly changed back into that of her human form. The same aura that had been created between Althea and Yansa just an hour before, was back. This time though, it wrapped itself around her, covering her body, and shielding her from the eyes of the Tigers. It was as if the Tigers were not worthy to look upon her naked body. Althea didn’t even seem to notice.

Her small bare feet stepped gently through the leaves, and stopped just a foot away from the two Tigers. As she stood over them, the energy swirling around her radiated wildly. Looking to her left, one of the Tigers was unconscious, possibly even dead. His body lay in an unnatural shape, and Althea couldn’t sense any type of life force within him. However, to her right, the other lay still, his eyes open and blinking, trying to figure out what in the world happened. She took another step forward, standing right in front of his battered and bruised face. His eyes focused in on her legs and slowly looked up, fear stretching over him.

Althea tilted her head to the side, and reached down snatching the Tiger Shifter by his delicate human neck. She squeezed it tightly and lifted him up in the air holding him above her. His body dangled down i
n front of her, and his hands clutched at hers as she closed off his windpipe just enough to watch him panic. It was as if Althea were in a trance, stuck in that tunnel that led straight to the Tiger Shifter. She was so entranced by everything, she didn’t even notice the immense amount of strength that she had.

The man she was holding was not a small man, not as big as Minco, but definitely much bigger than Althea. To her though, she couldn’t even feel his weight. All she could do was stare at him, her eyes still shining brightly, a rage inside of her that dug her fingers into the sides of his neck. He scrambled, making a garbled choking sound as he pulled at her fingertips. The guys, shifting back into their human form, all began to stand and watch in amazement as Althea’s powers started to show themselves.

Billy went to step forward to stop her, but Yansa put his hand out. “Not yet. We have to see what type of control she has. We are here to help her, not control her. But I have to admit, she is amazing.”

  Chapter Twelve

“This is very simple,” Althea said with complete control of her tone. “You’re going to tell me exactly who sent you here to kill me. I don’t want lies, I don’t want questions back, and if you refuse… Seeing that I have you by the neck, how easily do you think it would be for me to rip your balls off?”

The Tiger Shifter’s human eyes grew wide and his hands came down covering his crotch. Althea smirked. “So,what’s it gonna be?”

The guy narrowed his eyes, a flash of yellow going through them as he attempted to switch back over to his Tiger. But there was something in Althea’s powers that wouldn’t let him change. It confused him, and he began to struggle again, finding it may be his only way to fight back. Althea clenched her teeth and stomped forward slamming him into the tree trunk. She pushed him so hard, that spears of bark flew everywhere, and his body indented into the tree.

“It’s obvious you work for someone, tell me their name,” she demanded. “Tell me!”

Althea was so angry, and she was on the edge of her tipping point. She was barely able to control herself at all, and everything in her wanted to rip the Shifter apart from end to end. Her Bear pleaded her for it, and inside of her focus, she was struggling to know what was right and what was wrong.

Behind Althea, Yansa looked at Billy and then at Minco and nodded. They carefully walked up behind her, Billy and Minco moving to each side and Yansa standing behind her. Together, they pulled in their own energy and reached out placing their hands on her skin. As they stood there, the anger began to move out of Althea and surged up through the guys arms, the sounds of screams and rage echoing around them. As they pulled the last bit of it out, all three of them winced, their eyes flashing red before quickly fading back to normal.

Billy quickly ran over and pulled on a pair of pants, fastening his belt with his dagger strapped to his side. He tossed Minco and Yansa a pair of pants as well, grabbing Althea’s robe from the top of her bag. He walked up to her, carefully putting his hand on her shoulder. She was still holding the Tiger Shifter in the air, her lips snarled at him, anger subsided but her strength was still there. Hesitantly she looked over at Billy who gave her a kind smile. “You can put him down now. Put on your robes and we’ll take care of this. All of us, together.”

Althea stared at him for a moment, and then looked over at Minco and Yansa who gave her encouraging head nods. She turned back to the Tiger Shifter and released her grip letting him fall into a pile on the ground. The man rolled over onto his back, his arms rolled out, trying to catch his breath. Althea looked down at him, her eyes narrowed. “Don’t go running off.”

As she turned away from him, toward Billy, the Shifters spit and snarled. “Screw you.”

Althea stopped and tilted her head to the side, looking at Billy. In the next moment, Althea moved so fast that Billy could barely even feel her as she grabbed the dagger out of his belt and turned back to the Tiger. She stabbed the blade through the Tigers palm and into the ground, patting him on the head. “Next time, I put it somewhere else.”

She stood back up, smiling at Billy as he helped her put on a robe. She wrapped it over her chest and tied it at the front. She patted Billy on one shoulder, Minco on the other as she walked past them and stood next to Yansa. She knew they wanted a go at him, and they deserved it considering they were the ones that had to fight them. The Tiger watched Billy as he smiled nefariously, rubbing his hands together and pacing back and forth in front of him.

He squatted down next to the Tiger in human form and sniffed him. “Most of the time I do this quickly, but I think for you guys, well probably just you, considering your friends pretty dead over there, I’m going to take my time.” Billy looked over at Yansa. “Is there any way we can get him to turn back into his Tiger? I really want a Tiger pelt for in front of my fireplace back at the Settlement.”

Yansa smiled. “I’m sure that could be arranged.”

The Tiger had become really nervous, his eyes frantically shifting back and forth between Billy, Minco, and Yansa. Billy leaned on the dagger sticking through the Tiger’s hand, rubbing his chin and looking up at the trees. The Tiger winced, his mouth falling open as he tried to reach for his hand. Billy stood up, acting as if he hadn’t even noticed the Tigers pain and tapped his fingers to his lips. “What do you think Minco?”

Minco grunted and turned, walking over to his bag. Billy chuckled, glancing down at the Tiger and pointing at Minco. “This should be good. Just wait for it. He’s really sadistic. He’s even worse than me.”

They watched Minco as he opened up the bag and reached inside. He pulled out two knives, one as small as the dagger and the other the same machete he used to cut through the vines. He looked at both of them, and tossed the small one over his shoulder with a shrug. As he started moving toward Billy, he pointed the edge of the machete down toward the Tiger. Billy stood up for a moment putting up his hands. “Hold on. Don’t you think that’s a little big?”

The Tiger human nodded his head frantically, looking up at Billy as if he were saving his life. Billy turned toward the guy, standing next to Minco, studying his body. “I mean, if you can take his skin off pretty easily with that thing, then I’m all for it, but personally I have to have a smaller kind of duller knife to work with.”

The Tiger’s head snapped toward Yansa and Althea and he began to beg. “Please, spare me. You’ve already killed my friend, I can even take a message back for you.”

Althea was standing next to Yansa, one hand crossed over her chest and the other tapping her chin watching with no emotion. She lifted her eyebrows, and puckered her lips. “It really depends on you. What kind of information are you going to give me?”

The Tiger Shifter groaned, rolling his eyes in the back of his head and shaking it from side to side. He was struggling and fighting himself, painfully wanting to tell everything to her to save his own hide, but knowing full well that if he did, whoever was behind it would take his life just the same. At that point it came down to loyalty. Would he be loyal to his own Shifter Clan and die right there, or would he be loyal to himself, and at least have a fighting chance?

The Tiger Shifter pressed his lips together and turned his head, refusing to say a word. Althea sighed, rolling her eyes and turning around as she waved her hand in the air. She was giving Minco the signal. Billy slapped him on the shoulder and nodded. “You’re up big buddy.”

Minco stalked forward and took a knee next to the Tiger Shifter. Bringing up the machete, he held it in different places over the Tiger Shifter’s body, as if he were trying to decide where to start. He brought the machete up to the Tiger’s face, and then grabbed him by the back of the hair, pulling his head back. The Tiger’s eyes went wide and he let out a long deep whine. “Okay, okay, I’ll tell you. Make them stop.”

Minco paused and glanced over at Althea. Althea lifted her eyebrows. “Go on.”

The Tiger Shifter took in a deep breath, closing his eyes tightly. “The Tiger Alpha is in league with several other Alphas to take
you down. They want to rule the Earth Sigil themselves. The Lizard was just a decoy, they aren’t involved as far as I know.”

It took Althea a lot to pull back the anger that suddenly raged inside of her. She bit her bottom lip, clutching her fist to her side. Walking forward toward the Tiger, she grabbed the dagger and yanked it out of his hand. Before he could pull it up, she jammed her knee into it and leaned forward sticking the dagger under his chin, pressed against his throat. “Who are the others? Which Shifters are trying to kill me?”

Whimpering, the Tiger Shifter closed his eyes again, his forehead scrunched in fear. “I swear. I swear I don’t know. If I was going to give away my own Alpha, wouldn’t you think that I would give away the rest of them as well? They mean nothing to me. I really don’t know. Please.”

Althea lifted up off of him and walked back over to Yansa. Minco handed Billy the machete. He pouted, turned and walked back toward the campsite to set it down. Leaning forward, Minco grabbed the Tiger Shifter by the chin and stared at him. “We’ll have to take him back to the Grizzly Settlement. I’m pretty sure a few days in the pit chained up will loosen his tongue. And if he’s telling the truth, at least he won’t die at the hands of his Alpha.”

Minco tossed his chin down and grabbed him by the arms, sitting him up and propping his back against the tree. The Tiger Shifter began to panic, looking around at everyone, knowing full well that if he was taken to the Grizzly Settlement, he most likely would never leave there alive. It wouldn’t be the Bears that got him, it would be whatever was in the pit that everyone feared so terribly.
