Justin Redmond: A Sweet Gay Romance (James Brothers Book 4) Page 17

by C. E. Wilson

“Are you sure, Charlie? I don’t want you to fall and get hurt.”

“Ask Simon. He’ll tell you it’s ok. He has been helping me to walk so I can surprise my daddy.”

  “Ok, if you say so.”

Judge Stone conducted a lovely ceremony. When he told Justin, he could kiss his husband, he did. They turned to the guests and Dalton stood Charlie on the ground. He started walking toward Justin and he didn’t see him at first. Hunter saw him and clapped his hand over his mouth and elbowed Justin and pointed at Charlie. Justin just stood there in shock. He finally moved but only fell to his knees. Charlie walked up to him and hugged his neck. “I can walk Daddy.”

Justin had tears streaming down his cheeks. “I see you can son. You are really walking. Why didn’t you tell me you could walk?”

“Simon and I wanted to surprise you.”

Justin hugged him close, and he pulled Simon down with them and they all hugged each other and cried. Mr. Willis hated seeing them cry even if they were happy tears, so he yelled that the food was ready.

They had a great party, and everything was right in the halfway house from then on.

Thank you for reading the last book of the James Brothers Series. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed writing it. It was a lot of fun with all the boys. Some parts were sad, but it is a fact that horrible things happen to children by the people that are supposed to love and protect them.

Please consider leaving a review so others can find my books. It helps authors.
