Her Client- The Complete Series Page 4

by Sally E Xander

“I guess not. Jeremy is leaving in a few, I bet he could drop you off.”

  So, his name was Jeremy.

Not that I would remember since I figured he would be replaced in a week or two.

“Hey, Jer? Could you drop my roomie off at the library?”

“Um sure. I don’t know where it is but that’s not a problem.”

I burrowed my face in the pillow wanting to scream. Jeremy was a student but didn’t know where the library was?

After taking a few deep breaths, I pushed off the bed and gave them a forced smile. “Thanks, I appreciate it.”

“Oh God! Jeffrey!” I panted as he dug his fingers into my thighs while thrusting into me. As he neared release, his movement became frantic. His kisses missed my lips completely. My fingers threaded through his hair as I held on for dear life. With muscles taught, he moved until he braced himself above me. Sweat dripped onto me mixing with my own as he pinched his eyes closed. With each grunt, I felt his whole body tightened until he yelled “Angel!”

His arms shook as he took in deep, ragged breaths. When his breathing calmed, he opened his eyes and stared into mine.

To keep from squirming beneath his stare, I pulled on his hair until he settled on top of me with my thighs wrapped around his waist.

Eye contact after that was too much intimacy for me. Especially after the images that flittered through my mind while he had his mouth on my pussy were not of him.

Our lips met in a sloppy but well-earned kiss. The taste of me lingered on his lips and Licked it off. He moaned in appreciation.

When Jefferey moved to kiss my neck, he mumbled just above a whisper, “You’re becoming my dream girl, Angel.” His words made my stomach drop. They were words I would have loved to hear if we were dating but we weren’t. He was a client that paid me a hefty sum twice a week now.

When he first arrived this evening, he didn’t waste any time undressing me then himself. Before I knew what was happening, I was sitting on his face while sucking his cock. But we somehow ended up with him on top of me after my orgasm.

Jefferey was my one and only regular client. We met twice a week, and each time, we both left the hotel satisfied. I liked that about him. Especially considering he paid me to please him, so he had no obligation to make sure I had an orgasm, but I did.

Instead of replying to his sweet but concerning admission, I said, ‘thank you for night, Jefferey. I needed that.” And I did. All of today’s anxiety disappeared within minutes of having his mouth all over my naked body.

It would have been perfect if I hadn’t thought of Jane almost the whole time. It wasn’t that I didn’t enjoy fucking Jefferey because I did. He was an expert level lover and I enjoyed my time with him. But I hadn’t stopped thinking of Jane and her lithe yet soft body. Her slight curves enticing me. I remember the feel of her breasts against mine. My nipples hard with excitement as they rubbed against hers. Visions of her light pink pussy opening for me like a flower. The light touch of her fingers caressing me as she pressed her lips against mine.

I closed my eyes and tried to push away the images, but I couldn’t. I wanted more Jane.

“Am I too heavy?” Jeffrey’s low voice drew me out of my thoughts.

Running my hands down his back, I spoke softly. “No. You’re perfect.”

His grin and the kiss to the tip of my nipple reminded me to be in the moment. I needed to be here with him. It’s what he paid me for, and he deserved all my attention.

Then the thought of jane becoming a regular flitted through my head.

  Damnit.

How did she always find her way back into my thoughts?

Jeffrey used his strong muscular arms to lift himself off me then held his hands out to help me off the bed. “Shower?” he asked. Noticing the slight smile on his face, I knew it wouldn’t just be a shower. He had enjoyed me going down on him last time, and I had no problem pleasing him again tonight.

My muscles were stiff and ached with every step but in a good way. In an “I had my brains fucked out of me” sort of way.

Glancing at the clock, I realized we didn’t have much time, but I was good and already knew how to get him off with my mouth.

I put a little sway to my hips knowing his eyes were on my ass as I led him to the shower that was big enough for a team of people.

Once the temperature was just right, I pulled him into the shower. Before he knew what was happening, I was kneeling in front of him. I managed to get him off, showered and dressed before our time was up.

As I followed him to the door, I couldn’t help admiring his body. He was sexy from his wide shoulders to his tight ass that looked fantastic in his slacks down to his strong legs. At any other time, I would have day dreamed about meeting him outside of the hotel room. But now, the idea left as quickly as it came.

He obviously had money since he could afford me and had a sexy body. I suspect he was in his early thirties, so he had the maturity that was missing from men my age, but he wasn’t old. He was a genuinely nice guy. And I could never forget how he was great in bed so why wasn’t I day dreaming about him?

It was probably a good thing. I wasn’t Pretty Woman, and he wasn’t here to save me.

Jeffrey turned to me and pressed his lips against mine in a quick kiss then smiled, “Until next time.”

I held my smile even after the door closed. When I first started this job, I had my concerns about possible clients and horrible things that could happen, but so far, I had lucked out. Even the old guy with dentures and a pocketful of blue pills wasn’t that bad.

Even after weeks of doing this, I still couldn’t believe I was a call-girl.

If only I weren’t doing something that would shame my family if they knew. Each time I talked to my parents, they asked about my new job. I hated lying to them. They were good people with big hearts. But they would be so ashamed of me right now and feel guilty for not having the money to help me pay for college.

Sighing, I pushed aside my worries and called for an Uber to get me home then rushed to redress. The sooner I got home, the more time I had to study before it got too late and my brain turned to mush.

When I stepped outside, I looked down at my phone to check to see how long I would have to wait before my ride arrived. When I lifted my eyes, they landed on Jeffrey who was standing nearby. With one hand in his pocket and the other holding a cigarette, he looked relaxed. I smiled at him with a raised brow. Without me asking, he lifted the cigarette. “I don’t like to smoke in my car.”

“Ah.” I nodded unsure what to say. Not ten minutes ago we were naked, but suddenly I felt awkward. It felt like we were complete strangers that had never spoken to one another. “I’m waiting for a ride,” I said just to make conversation.

Jeffrey dropped his cigarette then put it out with his shoe. “You need a ride?” he asked. I opened my mouth to speak, but before I could answer, he shook his head. “I’m sorry.” His cheeks reddened. “I didn’t mean to sound creepy especially after…” He waved his hand toward the hotel.

I hated to see him embarrassed because it was sweet of him to offer but it was also a really bad idea. “I appreciate you asking, but I’m good.”

His head bobbed up and down as he stood next to me with his hands stuffed into his pockets.

“I apologize. I get that we both need privacy and such. I just…” He ran a hand through his messy hair. “I want you to be safe.”

I turned to face him and gave him a smile. “I appreciate it. But my ride should be here any minute.” Just as I finished speaking, my ride pulled up to the curb. “My ride.” I pointed to the compact car.

Jeffrey seemed to relax when the driver, an older woman rolled down the window to say hello. When she told him she would take good care of me, his whole body seemed to relax. It was sweet if not a little strange, but then again, I could understand where she got the idea w were together since he opened the door for me.

  “Be safe,” he s
tated then with a knowing smile he said, “I’ll see you soon, Angel.” Then closed the door for me.

  Yes, he will.

“Thanks for picking me up,” I said sheepishly. It sucked having to call my boss to pick me up so I could babysit his kid. It reminded me of my early babysitting days in high school. “The shop said they’ll be looking at my car today to give me an estimate. Hopefully, they’ll have time to fix it before next weekend.”

I crossed my fingers. The tow truck guy who picked up me and my car that morning mumbled something about dropping it off at a junkyard. Then after the mechanic took a precursory glance under the hood, he shook his head. With a raised brow, he said, “I’ll do my best, but I’m not a miracle worker.”

  Sigh.

“No worries. Ethan’s thrilled because we got to get breakfast at the drive thru.”

I turned to see a grinning Ethan buckled into his car seat with a breakfast sandwich stuffed in his mouth. No matter how many times I tried to replicate them, he always complained that they didn’t taste as good as the one we got while in the car.

After a few minutes of silence. Mark glanced over at me. “Did you remember to bring your swimsuit?”

I patted my bag and grinned. “Yeah. I can’t wait. Thank goodness for freakishly warm Spring days.”

“Good because playing in the pool was all Ethan talked about yesterday.” His grin grew wider. “It drove my mother crazy.”

Three years working as a life guard and a swim instructor during the summers was paying off. When mark hired me a few years ago, he asked about my swimming ability. When I told him about my experience, he sighed with relief and listed swim instructor as part of my duties.

Once again, I turned in my seat to talk to Ethan. “Have you been practicing your arm strokes in the tub?”

Mark made a disgruntled noise in his throat when Ethan raised his arms and screamed “Yes!”

“Oh, he’s been practicing. Three nights in a row he has turned the bathroom floor into a lake.”

I smothered a laugh since Mark pierced me with an angry grimace. He couldn’t hold it long though. He was a softy through and through especially when it came to Ethan.

“Well, now that the weather is warming, we’ll just practice in the pool. Okay, Bud?” I said more for Mark’s sake than Ethan’s.

“My bathroom floor thanks you,” Mark muttered.

“Alright Ethan, now kick your legs!” I held a hand beneath him as we moved from one side of the pool to the other. If anything, the kid was giving me a much-needed workout. Maybe once he was down for a nap, I could sneak in a few laps before taking some time to study.

When we got to the opposite side, Ethan lifted his head and panted. “Can I just play now?”

Laughing, I gave him a nod and helped him swim to the shallow end of the pool. I stepped out of the pool to get some floaties, when I returned, I noticed Ethan staring at me. I t appeared he had a huge question to ask.

  “You okay, Bud?”

He nodded but his brows pinched, and his expression turned serious. “Do you have a mom?” he asked.

Surprised by the question, I half laughed. “Yup. But she lives far away.” When he didn’t smile, I felt my stomach drop.

“My dad has a mom and my friends have a mom,” he stated so matter of factly it broke my heart. Of course, he would begin to notice that he didn’t have a mother. “I wish I had a mom.”

  Did you hear that?

It was the sound of my heart breaking.

I pulled him into my arms wanting to hug the sadness out of him. “I know, Bud. But you have a wonderful grandmother who loves you, and you have me and I’m crazy about you!”

Ethan stared up at me with wide eyes and hopeful expression his face. “Will you be my mom?”

Before I could answer the sound of Mark’s voice startled me. I hadn’t heard him come outside. “Sorry, Buddy. Angel is too young for me.” Then with a light-hearted laugh, he said while pointing to Ethan, “And too old for you.” Ethan’s giggle lifted the tension. Not a minute later he had forgotten our conversation and was off showing Mark his new swimming techniques.

Mark oohed and aahed then let Ethan play in the shallow end of the pool.

Dressed in casual shorts, t-shirt, and flip flops, Mark took off his shoes then took a seat next to me to soak his feet in the pool. Bumping my shoulder, he drew my attention. “Sorry about that.” I waved off his apology. “He’s been asking a lot of questions lately.”

“It couldn’t have been too surprising.”

“No…but it doesn’t make it any easier.”

With a teasing smile, I said, “You could always do what your mother say’s and start dating again.” He chuckled but also stiffened next to me.

  What was that about?

  “Maybe.”

Maybe! He said maybe! That was a first!

Without sounding too nosey, I wanted to get some information out of him. Like if he was talking about someone specific.

He shook his head then gave me a knowing look. “Don’t get too excited. I just ran into…” He ran his hand down his face and sighed. “I ran into someone I used to know.” He shrugged, “And maybe…”

  “That’s good.”

He raised a brow and gave me a skeptical smile. “Really?”

“Isn’t it? You obviously loved your wife, but wouldn’t she want you to have more? Move on? Find love again?” He didn’t answer. Instead he stared at his feet wading in the pool looking lost in thought.

  Did I say something wrong?

“Hey, anyone home?” A familiar voice called over the wooden gate to the backyard. Mark jumped up and jogged to the gate opening it to the last person I expected to see. Especially here.

“I’m so glad you made it!” Mark was back to being his laid-back happy self. “Come on in, I have some people I’d like you to meet.”

For the first time today, I was completely aware of my too tight bikini that I should have replaced ages ago. My breasts were barely contained under the triangles of fabric, and the bottoms were snug enough that they rode up in the back sometimes.

Since Mark wasn’t the type to leer at me, I didn’t bother getting another bathing suit. I was too cheap. There had always been more important things to pay for. Now I could have kicked myself. I had the money now so why didn’t I?

I stood and moved to a chair where I left towels for Ethan and me, but Mark intercepted me. He put an arm around me and brought me to his side and introduced me to his friend. “Angel, I’d like you to meet my old friend, Jeffrey. Jeffrey, this is Angel, the best nanny on the planet.”

  Fuuuuuuck!

Staring into the eyes of a man who had not only seen me naked but had his face between my thighs last night made me feel more exposed than ever before.

Was he going to tell Mark that he knew me and how we met?

I stood stiffly next to Mark, my lower lip pressed between my teeth. If Jeffrey didn’t say something soon, my lip would be chewed raw. When he put his hand out to shake mine, I blew out a breath I didn’t know I was holding. “Hi, Jeffrey. It’s nice to meet you.” He held my hand a beat longer than normal, and his eyes softened as he gave me a kind smile.

The tension in my body eased as I gave him a soft smile. “It’s nice to meet the best nanny on the planet.” His joke had me laughing along with mark who seemed oblivious to any awkwardness between Jeffrey and me.

It shouldn’t have surprised me that Jeffrey would have been anything but a gentleman. But it did because I had found most people aren’t the same in the bedroom as they are in their daily lives.

Mark’s arm dropped from around my shoulder as he asked Jeffrey to follow him. With their attention on the happy boy playing in the pool, I took the opportunity to wrap a towel around me. It only made me feel slightly less exposed in front of Mark’s guest.

What were the chances that Mark and Jeffrey knew each other?

  Pretty good apparently.

  It was
just my luck that I would get the one regular client who was friends with Mark.

I never thought of myself as naïve, but I never would have imagined this scenario. How would I ever face Jeffrey again? We already had a night scheduled for next week.

“Hey Romeo, stop staring at my nanny.” Mark’s slightly bitter comment had me turning to see Jeffrey was indeed watching me. Not in a creepy sort of way. I suspected it was as jarring for him to see me outside of the hotel room as it was for me. In a strange way, he was more…human. I had only seen him in one way then to see him like this…dressed in short and tank. His eyes lit with humor while laughing with mark and Ethan. I would no longer see him as just the man I fucked a couple of times a week.

“I apologize. I didn’t mean to stare. Angel just…uh. She looks familiar.” Jeffrey turned back to Mark, his hands stuffed into the pockets of his loose-fitting shorts.

Mark made some humph noise. “Aren’t you seeing someone?” he asked Jeffrey.

My stomach clenched. I waited with bated breath for Jeffrey to answer the whole time hoping he didn’t have a girlfriend. Now that I knew him outside of the hotel, I hoped he wasn’t a cheater and that I was helping him be deceitful. Those things were easier to push aside when I didn’t know the person.

“No. No, I haven’t dated anyone since…” Jeffrey left his reply hanging, but I noticed the way his and Mark’s eyes met. Mark gave him a slight nod and looked away.

  What the hell was that?

They triggered my curiosity, and it was going to drive me crazy.

“Oh, I thought…I mean you said that you have regular plans a couple times a week.” I pressed my hand over my rapidly beating heart to keep it from jumping out of my chest. “I assumed you were dating someone.”

“I’m …uh.” Jeffrey quickly glanced my way then back to Mark. “I do have regular plans, but I’m not seeing anyone.”

To my relief, Ethan announced, “I’m hungry,” shattering the tension building between us.
