Reign: A Romance Anthology Page 43

“It sure has been an interesting evening.” Augustine chuckles beside me.

  “Fun night, actually,” Greyson adds.

“Will you still want me in the morning.” The damn words tumble out of my mouth before I even have a chance to stop them. The tiny fear that has implanted into my brain falling out because of exhaustion.

Augustine picks me up and places me on his lap, so my legs are straddling him. “Do you think this was just a one-night thing?” he asks.

  I shrug my shoulders.

It’s all very new to me.

I have no idea what they want.

  “Lila.” His voice softens.

“I don’t know. A lot has happened,” I tell them honestly.

“We spoke about us while you were with your sisters,” Greyson adds.

“And?” Worry settles over my body in an instant.

“If you want to pursue things with both of us, we want that, too,” Augustine adds.

“So, I won’t have to choose?” I look between the two of them.

“Sweetheart, no.” Augustine cups my face. “Is that what you’re worried about?”

I nod my head. “I… I was worried that if I was alone with Greyson that I might…” I bite down on my lip, “… cheat on my fiancé.”

  Greyson grins, as does Augustine.

“You said earlier you wanted other lovers?” Augustine asks.

“That was before I realized what the three of us felt like,” I answer while looking between them both.

“Auggie and I agreed that it wouldn’t be considered cheating if we found ourselves exploring separately between the three of us,” Greyson states.

“I’m a busy man, and I’m not always here to be of service.” Augustine wiggles his brows.

“That’s where I step in,” Greyson adds, making me laugh.

I nod my head in understanding.

“I think tonight has been long enough. It’s late. I’m beat. Let’s sleep on it and work out the nitty-gritty in the morning.” Augustine reaches out and kisses me slowly.

“Okay.” My body begins to fade quickly.

Greyson leans over and kisses me deeply as well before kissing Augustine.

  That felt easy.

  Normal.

I jump off Augustine’s lap and lay down beside him. He pulls my back to his front and wraps an arm around me. I feel Greyson do the same to Augustine. And everything feels oh so right.

The bed feels like it’s moving ever so gently.

“Shh…” one of the men states when the other groans.

  My body is awake now.

Ever so slowly, I open one eye to see what’s going on and what I see is pure and utter MM fantasy porn. Augustine is on his back, eyes closed, teeth biting into his lip while Greyson is between his thighs, his head bobbing up and down furiously. They are lost in each other and haven’t noticed I’m awake.

Tingles explode between my legs as Augustine tries to stifle his grunts. My teeth sink into my bottom lip, and I’m finding it hard to suppress the moan on my lips.

Moments later, Augustine stiffens. He bites down on his knuckles and comes hard, Greyson taking everything he’s giving him.

“How long have you been watching, sweetheart?” Augustine turns his face toward me.

  I still.

  Busted.

Greyson turns and looks up at me from between Augustine’s thighs. Augustine’s dick is still hard and slaps his stomach when Greyson lets him go.

  “A little while,” I confess.

“Did you like what you saw?” Augustine asks.

Nodding my head hungrily, I reply, “Yep.”

“I bet you’re soaking wet between those creamy thighs, aren’t you, sweetheart?” I nod my head again, and Augustine grins.

Then Greyson reaches out and picks me up, placing my back against Augustine’s chest. He reaches into the bedside table and pulls out a condom that he slides on over his extremely hard length.

“Guessing Greyson can’t wait any longer.” Augustine chuckles. He reaches out, picks me up, turns me so I’m facing the headboard and shimmies down the bed so that I’m hovering over his face.

  What is happening?

Greyson’s hands take over from Augustine’s, and he lines himself up with my entrance. His hand is placed on my back and pushes me forward. He nudges my entrance, coating himself in my wetness before plunging in. We both hiss at the connection. He holds me steady as he continues to thrust into me. Then I feel Augustine’s tongue run along my slit.

  Wow. Oh wow.

As my fingers sink into the headboard as I try and hold myself up. His fingers digging into my thighs hold me in place while Greyson continues to thrust into me. The pleasure is too much. I’ve never been so turned on before. I’ve never had so many orgasms one after the other. Is this what the rest of my life is going to be like? Then I’m all in! Wave after wave of orgasm hits me, but neither man stops what they’re doing.

  I can’t take it anymore.

“We’re not done with you yet,” Greyson growls as he continues to fuck me.

Oh my God. No. I can’t.

Augustine doesn’t let up. He continues his assault on my pussy until I feel another wave of orgasm hit me, and finally, Greyson comes not long after me.

Greyson collapses to the side, and I beside him. Augustine turns on his side and leans his hand against his head.

“Well, good morning, all.” He grins.

Greyson and I have just enough energy to chuckle.

“If that’s the way we welcome the day, then I’m looking forward to spending the rest of my life with you two.” Augustine jumps off the bed buck naked, and I watch his well-defined ass disappear into his bathroom.

Greyson rolls over and disposes of the condom, then rolls back to me.

“You okay with this?” I cuddle into his chest.

“What do you mean?” he questions me.

  “Sharing Augustine.”

He’s silent for a couple of moments. “At the moment, it’s all-new, and the three of us are filled with lust and orgasms.” He lets out a heavy sigh. “But—”

“You’re worried that the public relationship Augustine and I have will spill further into our private lives, and maybe we might not need you anymore,” I add while looking up into his brown eyes.

“I know Augustine is looking forward to being a father one day, and, of course, I can’t give that to him.” Greyson begins to stroke my hair. “Having a child with someone… that bond is strong.” He lets out another heavy sigh.

  “I’m sorry.”

Greyson shakes his head. “You have nothing to be sorry about. We promised each other we would be honest with our feelings. It’s the only way this can work for however long it does.”

I sit up and stare down at him. “Just so you know… my feelings for you are the same as my feelings for Augustine.”

“It’s only day one, sweetheart. Plus, Auggie is easy to fall for.” He shrugs his shoulders as if he’s resigned to the fact that I will maybe take the man he loves away from him. Leaning forward, I press my lips against his, surprising him. His arms wrap around me as our kiss intensifies.

“I’m not like other women, Greyson. I’m starting to realize that maybe the kind of relationship I’ve been told I needed isn’t actually what I want.” If we’re being honest, he needs to know this.

He runs his hand along my face. “You say that now but…”

I shake my head. “Being with the two of you, it feels right. It feels normal,” I confess. “I want the same relationship with Augustine with you, too.” His eyes widen. “Actually, you’re kind of stuck with me. So, we have to make this work.”

“But I thought you wanted to sleep with other people,” he asks me.

“Why would I want to sleep with other people when I can have the two of you in my bed every single night.” Grinning down at him, he rolls us over, so he’s now on top.

“You don’t know what you’re saying, Lil
a.” His voice is serious.

“My destiny was always to be married off to someone, not of my choosing. Someone who was for the greater good of my country or an alliance. Lucky for me, I found you two.”

“I promise you, Auggie and I will never let you regret your decision to choose us,” he tells me before his lips crash down on mine again.

  Augustine

“Morning,” I greet my parents. There’s a pep to my step this morning as I walk into the breakfast room where Lila and my family will be having our first official breakfast together, celebrating our betrothal. After a fantastic start to the morning, I’m feeling great.

Lila went to catch up with her sisters beforehand and will be meeting us here at any moment.

“Has Lila settled in all right?” my father asks as I take my seat beside him and Greyson down the other end of the table next to his father.

“Yes. She was delighted to spend the night with her sisters.” That’s a half-truth.

“Does she like her room?” my mother asks.

“Oh, yes, very much so.” I fiddle with my cutlery.

“And Greyson… what do you think of Auggie’s bride-to-be?” my mother asks him not so subtly. Her blue eyes narrow in on him for an answer.

“She seems like a great fit for Auggie, your highness.” Greyson gives my mother his megawatt smile.

“And what about you?” my father questions.

Joss, Greyson’s father, chokes on his water at the end of the table.

“Is she a good fit for you, too?”

  “Father…”

What the hell is he getting at?

“I’ve been told that the three of you spent the night together.” My father’s ice-blue eyes are filled with rage as he stares down the table at Greyson, who looks like a deer caught in headlights.

  I’m furious with him.

“Lila will be walking into this breakfast at any moment. And I think she will be highly embarrassed to hear the court’s rumor mill is already on fire this morning. What happens in my bedroom is no one’s damn business.” My voice raises, silencing the room.

“We will talk about this later,” my father warns me, and I know we will.

The door opens, and the staff bring in trays of breakfast food and lay the platters down the table's center. Not that long later, Lila and her sisters enter the room.

“We are so sorry we’re late. We took a wrong turn somewhere and ended up who knows where.” Lila smiles.

I stand and hold out the seat for Lila to sit beside me. She smiles and makes her way over, then takes a seat. Her sisters take the seats opposite us.

“We hope you enjoyed your stay last night.” My mother gives the girls her best royal smile.

“We did, thank you very much, your highness,” Magnolia answers for them. “And thank you so much for your very kind hospitality.”

My mother nods her head in approval of Magnolia’s praises.

“And thank you so very much for my bedroom. It’s one of the most beautiful rooms I’ve ever seen. And the clothes in the closet. I don’t know how I can ever repay your generous hospitality. I promise that you will not be disappointed in Augustine’s decision. One day I hope I will be able to repay you for what you have done for my family by choosing me.” Lila’s words soften my mother’s glare. My father’s eyes narrow in on her, then he looks over at me. I give him a wide grin, and he just shakes his head.

“Let’s eat,” my father declares, and we dig into our breakfast.

The conversation flows smoothly, especially as my father takes center stage and talks about how great our nation is. He could talk about this subject for hours.

Eventually, he lets us leave the breakfast table.

Lila accompanies her sisters back to their rooms to say goodbye.

I follow my father into his office with Joss and Greyson. We take a seat in front of him.

“We need to talk about Lila and the relationship she has with the two of you.” My father raises his brow at us both. “I’m not blind. At the breakfast table, I saw the glances between the three of you.” Joss turns and scowls at his son. “I now understand the reason you have chosen Lila. It is because she is accepting of your relationship. Maybe too accepting?”

“That was the reason at first. Yes,” I answer. “But now I think she might be perfect for me. For us.”

My father shakes his head. “I will not allow the future king of this country and his queen to continue a relationship like this.” His voice rises.

My blood begins to boil. “Why not?” I question.

“It’s not right. We will not have bastard heirs on the throne.” His lip curls in disgust, and the room falls silent at my father’s callous words.

“I will not give them both up, Father.” I stand my ground.

My father’s eyes narrow, his face begins to turn bright red with anger.

“You’re not going to have a choice, Augustine.” His voice is cold. “I think Greyson should move down to Lindburg until the wedding.”

“What! No!” I fling out of my chair to a standing position.

“My word is final, Augustine. I want nothing distracting you until the wedding.”

Greyson reaches out and tries to calm me down.

  “He isn’t a distraction. I love him.”

My father shakes his head. “You need to give Lila your full attention, and having Greyson here, I feel, will distract you from that. From getting to know Lila properly. Once you two are officially married, Greyson then may come home.”

“No,” I scream at my father. “No… I want Greyson at my wedding. He’s supposed to be standing beside me.”

“It’s okay, Auggie,” Greyson tries to reassure me.

“No. It’s not okay, Grey. None of this is okay,” I tell him.

“I did what you asked. I found a bride. I found someone who I can marry publicly. Someone to have my children. Someone who will make a wonderful queen one day. But in Lila, I also found someone who accepts my love for Greyson. I won’t give up that acceptance.”

My father lets out an exasperated sigh. “And what happens if the media finds out about the three of you?” Father’s blue eyes narrow.

“Have they found out about Greyson and me?” I question.

“There have been rumors,” he adds.

“Exactly, and each one of them has been quashed,” I explain.

“What happens if Lila falls pregnant?” He looks between the two of us. “If you have this kind of relationship, how will you know which one of your children is the true heir.”

“We will be careful. We have spoken about it, and we all understand what’s involved.”

My father shakes his head again. “I just don’t understand how this will work.” He looks between us, confused.

“You don’t need to know. Please, just accept that what we’re doing is what the three of us want,” I explain.

“And Lila? Is she okay with this?”

I look over at Greyson and smile. “She is. We have clicked. It feels normal. Easy. As if we’ve known each other for a lifetime.”

“I don’t understand. I don’t get why you don’t want a normal relationship, Auggie.” He looks over at me, and I can see the concern on his face.

“It feels normal to us,” I tell him, but he continues to shake his head.

“If I may say something,” Greyson speaks.

My father nods in his direction to continue.

“I understand your concern, your highness,” he starts. “If it would make you feel more accepting of our relationship, then I will go to Lindburg.”

What? No. I won’t let Greyson do that.

“But I would like to come back for the wedding if that’s okay?”

The silence stretches across the room.

“You would be happy to go down there to work… to the Winter Palace.”

  Greyson nods.

“I’m happy to give Augustine and Lila the time they need together
before the wedding. To grow as a couple.” Greyson looks over at me and gives me a reassuring smile.

No. I won’t let him do that.

“I don’t want you to go, Grey,” I tell him.

“I know, but your father is right. I think you and Lila need to have one-on-one time together, to build on the foundation you already have.”

  I shake my head.

  No.

I want to build a life for the three of us, and we can’t do that if one of us is missing.

“But we want you, Greyson. You know that. Lila has said that.”

He nods his head in agreement.

“I can leave today, your highness,” Greyson tells us.

  No. I don’t understand what’s happening.

  Why is he running away?

“Thank you, Greyson.” My father smiles. “Thank you for your understanding.”

  No. This isn’t right.

“And, yes, I am happy for you to be back for the wedding.” Greyson nods. “You may go.” My father dismisses him.

  No.

Greyson stands and walks out of the office with his father.

“Why are you doing this?” I ask once we have the room to ourselves.

“I’m doing what’s best for you. For the crown and country,” he tells me.

“By sending away the man I love.”

“No. By giving you time to fall in love with Lila,” he adds.

“That is easy. She’s easy to fall in love with,” I confess to my father. His eyes widen in surprise. “She’s an amazing woman.”

“Then give her the one-on-one time she deserves, Auggie.” His voice softens. “It’s four weeks out of a lifetime.”

“And if we do this, and if after four weeks apart, we still need Greyson in our lives, will you accept it?” I ask.

“Yes,” he answers, surprising me. “My only stipulation is that I will need you to make sure that the only heirs she is carrying are yours, Auggie.”

“I understand. We all understand.” He simply nods his head. “I know that what I have with Lila and Greyson is not what you want for me, but it’s what I want for me.”

“What happens if you grow tired of the three of you?” he asks.

“For fifteen years, Greyson and I have been on and off. I haven’t managed to get sick of him during that time.”
