“I’m not dealing with this bullshit,” Kaci spoke up. “I say since we have a baby sitter until tomorrow afternoon, we go watch ourselves our own show. Let these fuckers watch while their ‘club babes’ put on a show.” I have a feeling this isn’t going to turn out well for us.
“What do you have in mind?” Riley asked.
“I’m following your thinking,” Sky speaks up. Glad she is because I’m lost right now.
“Oooh, yes!” Sadie says, catching on.
“Girls night! Our own party at the women’s strip club downtown.” Well, I should’ve seen that coming. My girls won’t put up with their men’s shit, as previously displayed inside.
“Aren’t you ladies going to be in enough trouble for showing your tempers inside?” I asked them. Just then the clubhouse door opened and out trotted Kori and Ash. Kori is Tic’s Ol’ lady and Ash is Wasp’s. “Let’s get the fuck out of here ladies,” Kori speaks up, seems she’s not too happy either.
“Mom?” Sadie looks at her mom with concern in her eyes.
“Get me out of here girls before I go to prison for committing murder on your father.”
“Oh shit,” comes from Riley.
“Damn,” comes from Sadie and Sky whoops out.
“Let’s do this...fuck those men of ours. Who needs them?” Next thing I know I’m being dragged away and we each climbed into one of three cars heading for the gentlemen’s club. I feel a rush of excitement running through my system. I’ve never been before and I’m anxious to find out what all the fuss is about. These ladies better live it up while they can. I can only be grateful I won’t be around when the fallout from their actions tonight takes place.
We only make it into the night three hours before we are tracked down. These are some very pissed-off bikers that are prowling their way towards us. When you read about true alpha men who stalk their way to their women, these are the men they are writing about. It’s both hot and frightening as I watch them make their way towards us.
“Ummm...ladies?” I said, trying to get their attention towards where mine is.
“What?” they asked.
“Might wanna check over there at what I’m seeing. Looks like trouble’s heading our way.” I heard a bunch of “fuck”, “shit”, “motherfuckers”, coming out of my friends’ mouths as they caught on to what I’ve shown them.
“They just can’t leave us be!” Kori screamed as she’s watching her husband come at her. “Fuck him and fuck his bike in shining armor.” She screamed loud enough to be heard over the screaming’s of the women surrounding us. I can tell Tic heard her loud and clear because his jaw tensed up. I looked at all the men as they were checking the status of their women then I noticed...HIM. How dare he come down here after me like he has any say?
“Come on sweet cheeks,” he said as he finally made his way to me.
“No.”
“What do you mean no?” he huffed and puffed out. This macho biker can kiss my pearly white ass.
“She didn’t stutter stud,” Ash speaks up.
“Not your business,” Wasp says to her.
“Fuck off Wasp, go enjoy the hussies of the MC. I swear some things never change.”
“Is this what this is about?” Ghost whispered in my ear causing goose bumps to spread along my arms. “Are you jealous of the club babes, sweet cheeks? Cause I gotta tell ya, I haven’t touched one of them since the day I brought you to the clubhouse.”
“No!” I screamed at him, “This is about the blatant disrespect shown to the women you’ve all claimed as yours. Well, I’m going to tell you now mister, if this is what I have to look forward to, you can count me out. I want no part of it.”
“Here, here,” “Hell ya,” and “Damn straight,” were all followed up to my statement to Ghost.
“Seriously?” Kid said, “You really feel this way Riley? After everything I’ve done to prove to you what you mean to me you’re going to pull this childish bullshit?” I watch as her face goes from wide-eyed to blatantly pissed—way the hell off.
“Get. The. Fuck. Away. From. Me!” Riley got up and screamed in Kid’s face. “If you want to keep your appendage functioning, I suggest you remove yourself from my sight!” Oh snap, she’s just getting started. I hope Kid runs like the wind. Nope, no such luck it seems. He picked her up and threw her over his shoulder and each brother in turn followed his lead. I watched in horror as each of my friends were carted off by their men. And they weren’t going quietly either. I’m appalled and shocked that not one of the bouncers or bartenders tried to make sure my friends were safe and alright.
Then I find that I’m staring straight at Ghost’s ass. If I wasn’t so pissed off I’d take a minute and enjoy the view in front of me. “How dare you! Put me down now, Ghost!”
“Never sweet cheeks—never,” he says to me as he continues to carry me out the front door. Much to my disappointment the bouncers at the facility watched wide-eyed and allowed us to be carted away like cattle.
“What’cha thinking about so hard there, Bristol?” my cousin Sky ask me.
“I was just thinking about the night of the patch-in party.” They all start howling and we begin reminiscing about our night out. Then I get to hear about their escapades with their men once they made it home from our impromptu outing. There are some things a girl just doesn’t need to know.
Chapter 6
Ghost
It’s been a couple of hours since the girls took off and I’m balls deep in paperwork. I hate paperwork, it’s a necessity though as all the officers are in a meeting going over finances for the new charter. This isn’t going to be a cheap start up, but business is doing good and we are financially doing okay. This will hurt our numbers, but it won’t break us.
Once numbers are crunched, we decide to go ahead and purchase the old bank there in town for the clubhouse. It’s a couple of stories and the land surrounding it is also up for sale. We also decide to buy up that land and build a fence surrounding both the land and building. They won’t have the numbers in the beginning for safety so we need to secure all the elements we can to protect our brothers. A secured gate and security system should help them in the beginning.
We’ve already put the word out that both of our chapters will be looking for new members. That word is not only here and there but in all surrounding cities. These are both small towns so we need to search outside of our territories. We won’t poach on other MC’s and their potential members, but those who haven’t shown any interest with other clubs are free and clear to prospect with the club of their choice. With the reputation we hope we’ve built, it shouldn’t be too hard getting some interest.
With all of us feeling cross-eyed we decide to call it a day. We head out to the main room and each of us grabs a beer. Lips comes up to Travler and I smell trouble. “Ya’lls Ol’ ladies aren’t around. Any of you boys up for a show?” she asks as she drags her nails down Travler’s arm. This bitch will never learn. Travler’s told her, Kaci’s told her and she just doesn’t get the picture. She will never have him. “Back off bitch and get your nasty claws off me.”
“Awe, don’t be like that Trav, baby. They’ll never find out and us girls are horny and need ya’lls attention,” she coos at him. The other girls come up to join her.
“We don’t mind putting on a show or giving ya’ll a stress reliever since your women aren’t here,” Easy says, as she eyes me up and down.
“Fuck that!” Kid says, “My life was miserable for days after ya’lls last show. I like my balls right where they are—thank you very much.” All the men agree with him when he says this.
“Since when do you guys let your Ol’ ladies run you around by your dicks?” Heat has the nerve to ask us. The fuck did this bitch just say?
“Watch yourself,” I tell her.
“You’re not technically taken Ghost, why won’t you come play with us?” Cindy puts her two cents in. Trust me, that’s all she’s worth is that two cents.
“Bitch
please, I have something better waiting on me. I won’t hurt her or disappoint her, I definitely won’t give her a reason to never trust me again. I know what I want, and I want her. I’ve had enough skank to last a lifetime.”
“Please, you sure didn’t mind enjoying this skank before she came along,” Lips says like it’s no big deal.
“Key word there, before. Since her, you ladies turn my stomach. Why don’t you go hit up the desperate brothers? You know, the ones who haven’t found their woman yet.”
“Fine, you guys have all turned into pussies. We want real men anyways,” Cindy decides to share these thoughts with us. Huh? Guess she hasn’t discovered that we aren’t the ones to be fucked with.
“I have a great idea,” Tic pops off. “Since you ladies aren’t happy with the single brothers here anymore, why don’t you pack your shit and get the fuck out of here.”
“We don’t want to leave, Tic baby,” Lips speaks up.
“Wasn’t a suggestion,” I say to her, “Get your shit and get the fuck out. You have ten minutes to vacate the premises or I’ll do it for you,” I speak up, as the Prez’s enforcer my job entails a lot of duties, and this happens to be one of them. Taking out the trash.
Forty-five minutes later, a bunch of whining, threatening and a close call with a stiletto, the babes are three girls lighter. I was even nice enough to give them some cash and have Spidey drive them to the bus stop.
What can I say? I’m nice like that. I settle back at the bar with my brothers as they’re discussing the last time they allowed a show to happen and I can’t help but grin. I got to witness some spitfire coming out of my girl that night. My sweet cheeks was feisty that night, shame she stomped off to her room and passed out before I could see how far that fire could grow. We can laugh about it now, but my brothers’ Ol’ ladies put the whippin’ on their asses. Whereas I thought it was already hilarious, they didn’t think so, however. No man wants to be handed his balls in front of his brothers.
I was proud of those women, they’ve been through some shit and it’s good to know they aren’t scared to stand up for themselves. I doubt that public displays will be happening anytime soon, something tells me they are a thing of the past. Carson and Levi were upset that none of the women would look them in the face for a few days afterwards. They are tight with Kori and she ignored them and I think it really hurt them. She is married to their brother and the mother of their niece.
We’ve been informed recently that Kori is expecting another baby. So, the countdown on kids continues. We have within the family Lil’ bit or Lila Rose, which is her birth name. Jake and Jayna, Kid and Riley’s twins. Last but not least, the newest addition is Cash, who’s Travler and Kaci’s little boy. Cash was born prematurely but at birth had already exceeded the doctor’s expectations. He’s growing stronger every day and the little shit gets into everything now that he’s crawling around. We were all a little worried about how Travler’s childhood would affect his ability at fatherhood. He’s proven us all wrong I’m happy to report. He’s taken to fatherhood like I took to my first Harley. Nice and with ease. I’m so happy for, and proud of him.
“We need to head to Templeton today, just got a call that papers are ready to be signed for the clubhouse and shop. Who’s riding with me?” Wasp asks us.
“I’ll go,” I tell him, might as well get my mind off missing my girl.
“Can’t,” Kid says, “I’ve gotta pick the kids up from your Ol’ lady.”
“Same here,” Travler says.
“I can go,” Tumbler announces, as well as Spidey and Rott.
“Guess it’s going to be a skeleton crew with all the Ol’ ladies out shopping for the night,” I say to all the men in general. Levi and Carson are with the women and the fathers need to take care of the kids. Understandable, but disappointing at the same time. I don’t know how much longer I have to ride with my brothers like this. “Ready to roll in thirty?” I ask.
“Make it an hour, I’ve got some stuff to wrap up here before we head out,” Wasp tells me.
“Sounds good, brother. Is this an overnighter?” I ask, hoping that it will be.
“Looks that way,” Wasp says as he heads out with Tic, who’s hot on his trail. That man doesn’t look happy to be getting left behind. Ash is the only one who stayed back so she could watch the kids. We can’t leave them all with her by herself overnight. As much as I’d love to ride with everyone, which could possibly be the last time for a while, that’s too much for even Ash to handle.
An hour later I find myself finding the freedom I only feel while riding my steel machine and contemplating my life and where I want my future to go from here. Both with the Rage Ryders and with my girl. Life is good.
Chapter 7
Bristol
We got settled into our room and decided to hit the mall up. They have food courts there so we can grab something to eat after our shopping is done for the day. We all decided to just snack before shopping because let’s face it, a full stomach plus shopping equals a very tired person, and we need all of our energy to hit all of the shops we’ve planned. Since this is just an overnight trip we need to get it all done today. Plus, they may not admit it, but none of these ladies want to be away from their kids and men for longer than a night. Getting away is good, staying gone sucks.
As we head to the mall we’re having a grand old time, with our escorts riding one in front and one in back I feel safe and protected. It seems to be a theme since I met my family and I’m not going to complain about it one bit, unlike my tribe of ladies with me. “Can’t we ever have some quality girl time without escorts?” Sky sulks while asking us.
“Well I for one am grateful. Do you remember what happened the last time we didn’t have any?” Riley asks Sky.
“No, I remember, one of the worst days of my life. The months that followed weren’t any better,” Sky says while still pouting. I hide my smile knowing it will only annoy her. “The difference is though, that there’s no one out to get us. We could handle a simple shopping trip on our own. I can’t even get my nails done in town without having a man on me. I feel like I have no privacy in my own town anymore.”
“Oh, like we had any privacy in our town without the guys being around. You know better, there’s a bunch of town gossip when it comes to us. We’d be reported to the guys with or without our escorts. Then we’d have to justify ourselves over whether it’s the truth or a bunch of made-up bullshit,” Sadie says.
“You’re going to miss this town and its drama,” Kori pipes up, “Admit it.”
“I will neither confirm nor deny that statement,” Sky announces to us.
Sadie pops in with, “I’ll miss you Kori, you Bristol, and mom and dad.”
“Me too,” Riley agrees.
Sky puts her two cents in. “Every single day, the only solace I have is that at least some of my girls will be going through this with me.”
“I’m going to miss you all. I just got you in my lives and it sucks saying goodbye.”
“We’re not saying goodbye Bristol, we’ll only be a couple of hours away. We can visit all the time,” Sadie reassures me. The car goes quiet the rest of the way to the mall. We’re all lost in our thoughts that we won’t be an everyday part of each other’s lives anymore. It’s a sad recognition for all of us to be slapped in the face with. I know this move is important to the club, but separating us feels like a heartbreak.
Once we make it to the mall, find a parking space and get out I decide to break the ice. “Let’s not talk about the move anymore today. Let’s just enjoy each other’s company and pretend like it’s a normal day and we’re not getting in some last-minute time with each other.” They all agree and we start our shopping spree. This will be my first one, mother always bought my clothes so I’m really looking forward to today.
First up is an exclusive lingerie boutique. This is her only shop and she hand makes every single piece she sells. I find a beautiful set that I fall in love with. It’s black la
ce with pink woven lace at the top of the bra and panties that match. It’s in my size so I pick it up to purchase, not that I’ll be showing it off to anyone but me and the girls. Sex is nowhere on my radar for now, though that could change and I’d love to have something to wear for when that day comes. These thoughts lead me to Ghost. I wonder what he’s doing right now? Is he missing me while I’m away? Secretly I’m hoping he is, you know, since he wants me for himself and all.
We spend a little over an hour in the boutique before everyone settles with their purchases. Skylar grabs mine and informs me this shopping trip is on the club, which gives me some relief since my financial situation is little to none. I was going to spend my last pennies on this lingerie set. “Thank you,” I tell her.
“It’s our pleasure,” she says back to me, causing us to both break out into smiles. This trip is going to be better than I expected and I can’t wait to add clothing to my non-existent wardrobe.
The girls know fashion, so imagine my surprise when we hit up an Old Navy store. I was thinking we’d at least hit up some type of high-end store, but apparently, less money means more clothing and you can still look good. I’ve never been there and am excited when I see all the sales and the clothes are simple yet amazing at the same time. Who knew shopping could be so much fun? My mom had people come measure me and my wardrobe was always delivered. This is like visiting Disney World would be like for one of the kids. My eyes are open and so are my arms as I’m loaded down with jeans, shorts, sweaters, t-shirts, camisoles and flip-flops.
I even got a few summer dresses to add to the mix. I have a mixture of all seasons and since we’re going into summer some of the stuff in my arms is half off. I’m excited to learn I can get a discount and fully stock up on what I’m missing. Some of the stuff I’ve never had the chance to wear before coming into the fold of my new family. Jeans and t-shirts were forbidden. Slacks, dresses, fancy sweaters and blouses were all I’ve ever worn. All I was permitted to wear, had to look good for daddy’s business associates. Plus, according to mom, you never knew who would stop by for tea or coffee. Looking presentable at all times was a must for her.
