  Terry Carr, anthologist of TO FOLLOW A STAR, is one of the major editors of science fiction today.

  He has compiled over twenty anthologies of fantasy and science fiction, including Nelson’s CREATURES FROM BEYOND, PLANETS OF WONDER, WORLDS NEAR AND FAR, INTO THE UNKNOWN, and THE INFINITE ARENA. As an author in his own right, he has been awarded seven Nebula citations by the Science Fiction Writers of America. In addition to his writing, Mr. Carr is well known as a historian and lecturer. He and his wife Carol, also a science-fiction writer, live in Oakland, California.
