  From the Author…

Did you put the pieces together of who Lady Miranda le Londe was? If you’ve read The Wolfe, and hopefully you have, Lady Miranda was one of the women who fawned over William de Wolfe while he was in London and was subsequently attacked by Jordan and Jemma.

Lady Miranda does, indeed, make an appearance in The Wolfe, but her history after that book is a rather sad one. She couldn’t get William into her bed, but she could get Daniel de Troiu into it. Impregnated by de Troiu, who was also heavily featured in The Wolfe and who also was in London at the same time Miranda was, she did the only thing she could do – trap a desperate, lonely knight into marriage so her son would not be born a bastard. Certainly, de Troiu wanted nothing to do with her, because he lusted after Jordan. In this case, an event thirty years earlier came back to haunt William in a big way.

  Thank God for Edward.

Lots of names mentioned from The Wolfe, including Roan d’Vant appear in BlackWolfe. He was a secondary character and a cousin to Andrew d’Vant of The Red Fury. Deauxville Mount played a big part in The Wolfe, so now we see it a few decades down the road. Still allies, but it has changed hands.

I always love tying in things from the past because that’s how life works – our past is always part of us, good or bad. It makes us who we are. It’s unfortunate that things happened the way they did for both Daniels, but one does not look into the face of The Wolfe and live to tell the tale.

Once a badass, always a badass.

Thank you for loving the de Wolfe Pack as much as I do.

  Love,
