He was giving me more and more pre cum, and I knew we’d better switch positions, or else he’d explode into my mouth. That’s not how I wanted to end the night.

With a loud slurp, I popped his cock out of my mouth and licked my lips. “You want a piece of that ass? You can’t let my vibrator have all the fun, now could you?”

“Come over here, omega,” he growled as he got up on his knees and pushed me down on my belly.

He put a hand on each of my hips and pulled my ass up into the air, giving it a tight slap.

“Oh, crap. Give it to me.”

“Have you been bad? Are you nasty?”

My cock stiffened even more upon hearing his words. “I’ve been a nasty bitch omega, and I need my punishment now.”

Parker groaned as he slid his cock into me, and I whimpered.

We fell into rhythm, and he pounded my ass with a strength that surprised me. Damn, he must be hitting the gym on a regular basis.

My mouth went cold, and a jolt of electricity slammed through my body, until a stream of cum splashed from my dick.

“Damn,” he grunted as he filled me with his sweet cum. It was so plentiful that I could feel it dripping from my hole even as he kept thrusting.

I let out a breath and we fell onto the bed, his knot expanding within me, stretching me further. We’d be stuck like that for a while, which gave us plenty of cuddle time, assuming we didn’t pass out first.

“Holy crap, Parker. Why did you have to disappear all these years?” I whispered with a hoarse voice.

He chuckled and ran his hand up and down the side of my body, making my hair stand on end.

“I must have been crazy,” he said, kissing me behind the ear. “Well, I’m here now, for a while at least.”

I closed my eyes and tried to calm my heart. I’d have to be content with that, for now.

  3. Parker

“Oh, let’s check this out. Looks like a display of Christmas ornaments.”

It was Sunday morning, and I’d decided to accompany Mom to the local Christmas market. It was somewhat famous throughout the region, so there were plenty of visitors from neighboring towns, which made for a busy crowd, relatively speaking. It was hard not to compare everything to New York. There, this would have been termed a ‘sparsely attended’ event.

We shuffled closer to the to the display, and I scanned the table, noting the intricate decorations adorning each of the glass ornaments.

“They’re handmade,” said the portly gray-haired lady behind the table. “The ones on this end are from Germany, and these here are from our workshop here in town. Lovely, aren’t they?” she said with a bright smile.

I grinned. “They sure are.” Living in New York, I never would have had the opportunity to have these quaint little experiences, especially out in the community. It was refreshing, and it was nice to interact with people other than other Wall Street zombies.

“Mom, do you like that one? And that one?” She nodded and I turned to the lady behind the table. “Excuse me, what’s your name?”

  “Lucy, and yours?”

“Parker. Parker Jones. Lucy, can I have these two ornaments, please?” I pointed to the ones Mom had been eyeing like a kid in a candy store.

“Oh, Parker, you don’t have to do that.” Mom swatted my shoulder and chuckled. She might try to deny it, but I knew she was dying for them.

I slipped the payment to Lucy before Mom could object again, and she wrapped them up while chatting away with Mom.

  “Here you go, Mom.”

“Aww, thanks a million, Son. You’re sweet.”

“It’s the least I could do. I disappeared for years on end without so much as a visit, yet you welcome me back with open arms. You’re the greatest,” I said, threading my arms through hers as we strolled along slowly past the tables and kiosks.

“You’re going to make me cry, sweetie. I just do what any parent would. You’ll see, once you have your own babies. You’d do anything for them, and there’s almost nothing they could do to make you stop loving them. Nothing.”

“To be honest, I don’t know if that's ever going to happen for me.” I usually didn’t get personal with Mom, but this time I had no choice. She’d struck a nerve, and since she was always so good with advice, I figured it couldn’t hurt to dwell into my feelings with her. Just this once.

She turned to look up at me, with a concerned look in her eyes. “What do you mean? Don’t tell me I’ll never have grandchildren. I’m sure you’ll find someone that’s right for you. Why wouldn’t you?”

“I have my doubts about that, Mom. With my hours at work, I’m lucky if I get to exchange a few words with my doorman, let alone a single omega who isn’t completely crazy. Because there are a lot of crazies in New York. People there have a whole different idea of what a relationship should be.”

“But look at you! You’re handsome, charming, and smart. You can’t let all that go to waste. Besides, why do you have to stay in New York, anyways? You’ve got a long life ahead of you. The town is growing, and there are more and more jobs every single day. Have you ever thought of moving back here?”

I fell into silence for a moment. “I can’t say that I have. You really think I should give up everything I’ve worked for?”

Out of the corner of my eye I spotted a happy family scarfing down Belgian waffles and felt a stab to my heart. There were two dads, with a little boy and little girl, both kids giggling with chocolate smeared all over their cute little faces. Deep down, I knew I wanted that for myself one day, but I just didn’t see how it would happen. Where would I meet someone? And when? I was working non-stop.

“Son, what is there to give up? All you do is work, work, work. Do you even have time to enjoy the money you make? Or is it all going to rent? Money isn’t everything in life, and happiness doesn’t appear out of nowhere. You have to look for it, or at least give it a chance to find you. And one thing I do know is that it’s not going to find you on the thirty-fifth floor of an office tower. Get off the hamster wheel and live your life.”

Wow. She wasn’t usually so straightforward, but she obviously felt strongly about this issue.

“You might have a point there, Mom.”

“You mentioned your ex-boyfriend Colton a couple of times over breakfast this morning. What’s new with him? Maybe you should give him a ring.”

I chuckled. Mom obviously had no idea what went on last night, and neither should she.

“Him? Yeah, we dated for a while before I went to New York, but he’s a fun and carefree sort. He’d probably be bored to death with me.” I sighed. “I could never give him the sort of adventurous lifestyle he wants.”

“You don’t know that. Maybe he’s changed.”

“No ma'am, that train has left the station. He probably wants someone who’s spontaneous and fun, and we all know that's not me.”

She let out a deep breath and patted my arm. “All I’m saying is keep an open mind. Everybody changes. Take you, for instance. For the longest time, all you cared about was work and your career. And now look at you. You’re wanting a future outside the office. Maybe he’s looking to settle down too. You’ll never know unless you ask.” She shrugged.

“You’re right, Mom. I’m not that happy in that box in the sky in Manhattan. Colton is sweet and fun, but it might be too late now.”

“It’s never too late when destiny is involved,” Mom said wisely. Then she spotted the crepe stand, and to my relief, all talk of Colton went out the window.

I chuckled as I ordered us a couple of Gundel crepes. Colton didn’t come up in conversation again, but Mom’s words lingered in my mind for the rest of the day, and they gave me a glimmer of hope.

  4. Colton

“Well, fuck me,” I said to no one in particular as I stood alone in my bathroom.

I was pregnant. Two pink lines stared me right in the face, as if teasing me.

I was single, broke, and pregnant. Yet, I was the happiest omega in the
world! I’ve only been seeing Parker for two weeks, so who would have thought this would happen? I’d been totally careless all these years, having unprotected sex with I don’t know how many alphas, which I knew was stupid of me, yet here we were. Two weeks with Parker and I was knocked up, good and dandy.

I rubbed my belly. I could raise this sweet baby by myself, I thought. Parker will probably go back to Manhattan, but even if he asked me to go with him, there was no way I could raise a baby there among the skyscrapers. Besides, I didn’t want to burden him like a ball and chain.

Nope. I’d stay here in Kingston and raise the baby in this little apartment. Or if I couldn’t pay rent, I could stay with my parents for a while—I knew there was always a spare room for me there.

  “Bruce! Bruce, get over here!”

Bruce had crashed at my place for the night, because he got shitfaced at a bar down the street and had no money for a cab ride. Rather than go home with some alpha whom he’d just met, he banged on my door at two AM and promptly passed out on my couch. I didn’t mind at all, though. He was a lot more conservative than I was, and if he didn’t feel comfortable sharing a bed with a stranger, then that was his prerogative. My bro could crash here anytime he wanted.

I heard his heavy footsteps thumping down the hall toward the bathroom, where I was still holding the pregnancy test in my shaky hand.

“What is it?” he asked, rubbing the sleep out of his eyes.

“Look! Just look at this! What the hell am I going to do?” In reality, I knew what I was going to do, which was raise this baby with all the love and care I could give it, but I was interested in hearing what Bruce had to say.

“What’s that? Are you on the keto diet again? Pissing on sticks again?”

“No, you dufus. It’s a pregnancy test! I pissed on a pregnancy test and look what it says! I’m pregnant! Knocked up,” I said, making it easier for him.

“No way! That’s freaky! Who’s the dad?” he asked. He proceeded to pull out his dick and began peeing in my toilet.

“Ew, you’re nasty.” I stepped outside the bathroom, leaving the door open just a crack. “It’s Parker. Remember him? I used to date him before college.”

“Oh yeah, the alpha you cried over for weeks and weeks. I remember him. What’s he up to now? He’s back?”

“Yeah, but probably not for very long. He has his job and apartment in Manhattan, so I guess he’s going back after the holidays. I doubt he has any plans to bring along an unemployed, broke omega with a baby bump.”

I heard him washing his hands and breathed a sigh of relief. At least he wasn’t completely gross.

“Don’t be so negative all the time. Maybe he really likes you. People don’t usually start casual flings with someone they’ve already been involved with, unless they really like them. So, look on the bright side. I say you should go for it.”

He said it so simply and plainly that he left me speechless. I was at a loss for words—there was no arguing against his logic. Maybe I should give it a try. After all, what’s the worst that could happen? He could say he wasn’t interested, and then I just end up back where I’d be if I didn’t even try.

“Wow, look at this one! Isn’t that amazing?” I stepped closer to the ice sculpture. It was a snowman next to a reindeer, with exquisite detailing throughout. “I can't believe someone actually sculpted this!” I said.

Parker joined me in front of the sculpture, put an arm around my shoulders and pulled me close to him. The warmth of his body was intoxicating, and his deep voice sounded like music to my ears.

“It’s beautiful. I’m so glad you came up with this outing.”

We’d made the drive to a small ski resort an hour from Kingston to visit their annual Winter Fest.

I looked up at him and smiled. “Stick with me, and the fun will never stop!” I joked. I took a sip of my eggnog. “Hey! They have sleigh rides here, too. Want to try it?”

Parker nodded and laughed. “See, that’s what I’m talking about.”

“Adventure is my middle name, sweetheart.”

We got tickets and hopped into the next sleigh that came around.

I cuddled up close to him, and he didn’t disappoint, kissing me softly on the lips as the horse-drawn sleigh took us through the forest and over hills. The full moon reflected from Parker’s deep brown eyes.

I hadn’t mustered the courage to tell him I was pregnant yet. I was enjoying every moment with him, and I was fearful of ruining it. I was afraid of ruining what we had, which was fun, easy, simple, and carefree. No seriousness, no commitments, no expectations.

However, it wasn’t fair to keep the pregnancy a secret from him for long, and when we fell into a moment of silence, I couldn’t stop myself.

“Parker,” I said with a more serious tone then he was used to, “I have to tell you something.”

“Sure, what is it?” he asked, glancing at me briefly but then turning back to admire the landscape blanketed with snow.

  “I’m pregnant,” I whispered.

  “What? I couldn’t hear you. There’s a breeze.”

I gulped. “I'm pregnant!” I almost yelled this time.

He whipped around to face me, and there was a look in his eyes that I couldn’t quite place. Was it shock? Terror? Horror?

I had to stop driving myself crazy. Parker remained eerily silent.

“Well? I’m pregnant. What do you think? I’m really sorry. I didn’t mean to ruin your life.”

My eyes welled up. I knew that telling him would be weird, but I didn’t think it would go quite as badly as this. The pain and humiliation were too much. I was mortified and thought I’d start bawling at any minute.

“What are you talking about? Ruining whose life? This is amazing! You’re pregnant? You really are?” By now his whole body had turned in my direction, so I turned to face him too, with a tentative smile.

“Yes,” I said, nodding. I’m really pregnant, and it’s yours. I promise.” I cleared my throat.

He let out a laugh that echoed through the night air. “I don’t doubt that it’s mine. It had better be! This is awesome! All this time, I’ve been wondering whether you’d want to be with me. Boring, dependable me. But I guess the decision has been made for us, assuming you want to be with me and raise this baby together.”

I kissed him and laughed. “Don’t be silly! Of course, I do! But Are you sure you want to be tied down to me? I’m unemployed, broke, with no serious prospects. I’ve been around the world, but I haven’t kept a job for longer than eight months at a time. I’m flighty and crazy. Am I what you really want for the father of your baby?”

Parker wrapped his arms around me and shut me up with a kiss.

“Oh, be quiet already. I wouldn’t trade you for anybody in the world. You’re fun, exciting, and you can show me how a life should be lived. For fuck’s sake, you could probably raise the dead from the grave! I don’t want to be stuck in some office at eleven PM, poring over financial statements—I want to be here! Out in the world that’s full of wonder and joy! This is what you’ve shown me, and I’ll be eternally grateful for it. In fact, I don’t think I’m ever going back to Manhattan, except to pick up my shit and bring it back here, to my new home.”

He kissed me again, and I knew that every single word out of his mouth was true. It had to be. My happiness depended on it.

“That’s wonderful, Parker. But I do promise I’ll try to be more responsible. I'll have to be, now that we're having a baby. We might not trek around the world regularly, but I’ll learn to keep a job, and I’ll learn how to pay the bills on time. Of course, we’ll also keep the baby alive for good measure.”

“You’re perfect the way you are. I’m sure you’ll do great. Better than great. Hey,” Parker said quietly. “You don’t want to go back home tonight, do you?”

“Why?” I asked. “What did you have in mind?”

He nodded up at the hotel resort that towered over the village.

  “Let’s s
tay here for the night. We’ll order some champagne, or for you, some juice. We’ll eat like kings and sleep between the finest sheets. Then, in the morning, we’ll have an excellent breakfast, get a spa treatment, and head home around lunchtime to spend the rest of the day in bed. What do you say?”

“I love you, Parker. Have I ever told you that?”

“Not in three years, you haven’t. I love you, too. In fact, I’ve never stopped loving you. And I never will.”

  5. Parker

“Alright, hurry up, sweetie,” I said to Colton from the doorway. He was still looking for his keys and putting on his jacket, while I’d been ready for five minutes.

I couldn’t wait another minute to see our baby. The doctor had warned us on the phone that we probably wouldn’t see much this early in the pregnancy, but I didn’t care. This moment was one we would cherish forever.

  “Coming, snookum! Hold your horses.”

“I know, and I don’t want to rush you, but they close at noon today because it’s Christmas Eve, and we don’t want to go down there for nothing.”

I heard the jingle of metal on metal as Colton shook the keys in my face before giving me a quick kiss on his way out the door.

  “Got ‘em!” he said cheerfully.

Thankfully, there was no one else in the waiting room and we got ushered right in. This was one of those times that would be a defining moment in my life. I wanted every single second to be seared into my memory, so I could look back at it again and again and feel the same joy for the rest of my days.

Colton prepared himself while the doctor waited outside. The doctor had explained that since it was so early on, he’d have to do an internal ultrasound with a huge wand. Maybe it was immature of me, but I had to admit I snickered when I spotted it in its holster next to the monitor. Poor Colton.

“He’s going to need a pint of lube for that, you know,” I teased him as he lay on the examining table.
