Man Fast: Bergen Brothers: Book One Page 22

by Krista Sandor

“I got them after our little dress shop dirty talk session.”

He ran his tongue across her abdomen, and she arched her back.

“I remember that day,” he growled against her skin.

He absolutely remembered. A chaise lounge was set to be delivered to Abby’s bungalow next week.

And speaking of Abby’s bungalow, that’s where they decided they’d live.

Could he pay off her mortgage? Sure. Could he buy the damn block outright? Yes, but that wasn’t the point.

She loved her cozy home, and he did too. Abby was her own woman. He not only respected that, he loved it about her. Her passion. Her drive. Her dedication. Those weren’t things you could put a price tag on.

Would they buy a million-dollar home someday? Maybe. But until then, their life together was going to start in the place where they committed to following the man fast.

Abby hummed a sweet sigh. “You said you were going to tease me.”

He gave her a wolfish grin. “Buckle up, soon-to-be Mrs. Bergen. I’ve got some business downtown.”

She bit her lip, and a rush of heat thrummed through his body.

He’d get to those lips later.

He held her gaze, took the lace between his teeth, and popped the snaps. She gasped, and the sound traveled straight to his cock. He worked his way to the other side and with another jerk of his head, he tore the panties off. He ran his hands up the sides of her body and massaged her breasts, while his mouth found her hot and wet.

He devoured her tight bundle of nerves with rhythmic, lapping licks. She bucked into him and weaved her fingers into his hair, moaning as he worked her.

After making love non-stop for days, he’d cataloged all her sighs, all her groans, and all her breathy, lust-crazed utterances. He released her breasts and gripped her hips, setting a punishing pace with his mouth, tempting her, and bringing her right to the edge.

Abby released a low, wanton cry, and he knew teasing time was over.

“Brennen Bergen! I want your big, thick, perfect cock inside me right now.”

His dirty talking teacher sure knew her adjectives.

He rubbed the pad of his thumb over her throbbing bud. “How badly do you want it?”

She twisted her fingers into his hair and pulled…hard.

  Message received.

In the space of a breath, he flipped Abby onto her stomach. He prowled her body, pausing at her ass to nip the supple flesh. That got him a fuck-me-now moan that sent his desire skyrocketing.

Hovering above her, he positioned himself at her entrance. “How do you want it?”

She looked over her shoulder, hair wild and eyes blazing with lust. “I want you to fuck me hard.”

  Yes, ma’am.

He slid his hand beneath her body, finding her sweet spot then thrust inside her. His chest pressed to her back, he pistoned his hips, pumping into her slick center. He shifted her body to allow one hand to work her sweet bud while the other gripped the headboard. His lips grazed the shell of her ear as he did as she demanded and fucked her hard, drawing out every ounce of pleasure.

“Fuck, yes! Brennen, yes!” she cried.

Christ, he loved her pre-orgasm filthy mouth!

  “You want more?” he breathed.

  “Yes!”

And he loved her greedy in bed.

She pumped her hips, grinding into his hand while his cock moved in fluid precision, back and forth, meeting her wet heat in a frenzied tempo. Her body tensed, gripping him as she met her release, gasping and crying out his name.

He followed her over the edge, pumping, thrusting, gyrating. Sweat-slick from exertion, he rode the wave of their release. An avalanche of pleasure engulfed them in a powerful rush, taking everything with it, leaving nothing in its wake but their sated gasping bodies.

The orgasm haze lifted as the sound of their audible breaths filled the room. He pushed up onto his elbows, careful not to crush her under his powerful frame. He wasn’t ready to break their connection yet.

He pressed a kiss to her neck. He’d lost count of how many times they’d had sex. The shower. The hot tub. The sauna. The movie room—during The Notebook—because, of course, they watched it. Well, had it on in the background while he bent her over the couch and made her come twice.

“I think I’m going to need a lot of tiramisu crepes to recharge after that,” she said, turning her head to the side and resting it on the pillow.

He kissed her temple and chuckled. They’d had a lot of the Bergen Village delicacy delivered to the cottage over the past few days.

He rolled off of her and gathered her into his arms. “But that would mean getting out of bed.”

She snuggled into him. “True, but we did have a pretty good time in the hallway this morning.”

He ran his hand down the side of her naked body. “Pretty good time?”

She looked at him through her lashes. “I said some really dirty things out there.”

“You’re a dirty, dirty girl, Abigail Quinn. But don’t worry. Your secret’s safe with me.”

She scooted up onto the pillow, bringing herself nose to nose with him. They gazed into each other’s eyes, and Abby smiled his smile. The smile he was going to wake up to every day for the rest of his life. He lifted her hand to his lips and kissed her knuckles, paying special attention to her ring finger.

“I love you so flipping much.”

  She chuckled.

“What?” he asked, kissing her palm.

“We’ve got you saying flipping and me screaming to be fucked.”

He shrugged. “I see no problem with that.”

She wrapped her hand around his cock. “I can tell.”

Here comes round number…Jesus! He didn’t know, but he was up for it until a loud knocking caught his attention.

Abby turned toward the sound. “Who could that be?”

He frowned. It couldn’t be the media. Bergen Mountain security had set up a checkpoint at the entrance to West Village.

Had he ordered crepes to be delivered? Between the shower sex and the hallway sex, his mind wasn’t exactly firing on all cylinders.

He kissed the crown of her head. “I’ll go check.”

He fished a pair of athletic pants from a drawer, headed toward the front door, and listened as a man and a woman’s raised voices grew louder.

Whoever it was, they were going at each other pretty well.

He opened the door to find his brother, with his jaw clenched, and Elle, red-faced, sucking her teeth.

His gaze bounced between them. “Is everything okay?”

Elle glanced at Jas with daggers in her eyes. “Well, we’re here.”

Brennen cocked his head to the side. “Yes, I can see that. Why are you here?”

“Jesus fucking Christ,” Jas and Elle said at the same time. They looked at each other and huffed their agitation with their identical response.

“You don’t even know what day it is, do you?” his brother asked.

Elle crossed her arms. “I told you! We should have called.”

“I tried to call. The calls went to voicemail every damn time,” Jas answered.

Brennen took a step back. These two were like an angry married couple.

“It’s Monday afternoon, Brennen,” Elle said as if she were addressing an idiot.

She probably wasn’t too far off. With all the blood diverted to his cock, he’d probably dropped a good twenty IQ points.

“Oh flip!” he said, neurons finally firing.

Jas sighed. “Lucky for you, we got here before Gram and Grandad.”

Brennen ran a hand through his hair. “The family engagement ski party-thing starts today.”

Elle and Jasper gave him the same, yes, jackass expression. These two may despise one another, but they each had a spot-on go-fuck-yourself game.

Brennen shook his head. Before they’d left the gala to run by Abby’s bungalow and grab her things, his grandparents insisted everyone c
ome up to the cottage to celebrate on Monday, giving him and Abby the weekend all to themselves.

He ran a hand down his face. “Come in! Come in!” he said, stepping back and allowing them inside. Then he stilled. “Wait! Why did you knock, Jas? You’ve got a key?”

At that moment, Abby appeared. Wearing his Bergen Mountain sweatshirt and those lace boy shorts, she looked from Elle to Jasper, gasped, then ran back down the hall.

“That’s why we knocked,” Jas said, sharing a look with Elle.

Brennen gave him an easy grin. “What did you expect? We just got engaged.”

“And you made it through the man fast,” Jas added, biting back a smirk.

“Make fun of it all you like, big brother. Without the man fast I wouldn’t be standing here half naked, and Abby wouldn’t be mortified you saw her in her underwear.”

“Did you see me, Jasper?” Abby called from down the hall.

His brother’s expression softened. “No, you were too quick.”

Good to know Jasper wasn’t going to be a giant douche canoe toward his future sister-in-law.

Abby came around the corner wearing a pair of jeans and his sweatshirt. She’d twisted her hair into a quick bun but still had that rosy sex glow. She went to Elle, and the cousins embraced.

“How was the drive up?” Abby asked.

  That was the wrong question.

Elle’s expression grew stony. “I’m going to get my bag.”

“I can get your bag,” Jas said with a sigh.

“I don’t need you to get my bag!”

Red-cheeked, Elle stormed out the door with Jasper on her heels.

“Consider it one of the benefits of being under contract with Bergen Enterprises,” he replied, slamming the door closed behind him.

“Are they going to kill each other?” Abby asked, coming to his side.

Brennen wrapped his arm around her. “I hope not. I finally got your cousin to like me.”

Abby gazed up at him. “Well, we’re all going to be family very soon.”

He took her hand and kissed the ring on her finger. “Are you ready for life as a Bergen?”

“I’m ready for any life with you, Brennen Bergen.”

They paused as the muffled sounds of Jasper and Elle bickering drifted inside.

“Maybe they need a man fast,” Brennen teased.

Abby chuckled. “Oh no! I can’t even tell you the last person Elle dated. She needs the opposite of a man fast.”

  “What’s that?”

  Abby grinned. “A man feast.”

  Acknowledgments

Back in 2001, I packed up my Geo Tracker—remember those—and made the long drive from Miami, Florida to Denver, Colorado. I’d never even visited the state before deciding to move here.

Lucky for me, it was the best decision I’ve ever made.

I met my husband here. My boys were born here. Denver is my adopted hometown, and I love living in the Centennial State.

The idea of writing about three brothers who belonged to a mountain sports family came from my love of all things Colorado. While I’m still not that great of a skier, I love watching my husband and sons fly by me on the slopes and weave perfect S-curves as they sail down the mountain.

Colorado has captured my heart, and I hope the Bergen Brothers capture yours. This book is near and dear to my heart, and I have many talented people to thank for helping it come to life.

A very special word of thanks goes to my dear friend and talented editor, Shayne. Night after night, we worked on Man Fast edits. She went line by line, painstakingly analyzing and making sure Man Fast sparkled. I treasure those moments working with you!

I’m grateful to my proofreaders, Tera, Chris, Kendra, Michelle, and Sarah. These eagle-eyed mavens are the superstars of editing. I love you guys to pieces! Thank you for your edits and thoughtful suggestions.

Everyone knows that a picture is worth a thousand words, but a book cover needs to be worth ten times that! Juliana Cabrera from Jersey Girl Design did just that for Man Fast. I love the cover. She did a fantastic job creating the Bergen Brothers design.

I don’t know where I’d be without authors Michelle Dare and S.E. Rose. These are the writers I turn to when I need a second opinion or a pep talk or just a good laugh.

This acknowledgment page would not be complete without thanking my husband, David. Thank you for always believing in me. What a gift it is to build a life with you.

And to you, dear reader, your kind words, reviews, and recommendations mean the world to me. It’s an honor to share my stories with you. Thank you for your love and support!
