Christmas Wish for Me: A Morning Madison Male/Male Single Dad Romance Page 11

by Ian Finn

“So, did you guys already know that Zach was proposing to me?”

She then stops and turns to face me.

With one of her pitying looks, she says to me, “Oh, Ryan. You still have so much to learn.”

Then she turns around and walks off.

It’s only then when I realize that there are two sides to Candy. There’s the sweet, kooky and loveable Candy that’s the life of the party. Then there’s the one where she’s all business, and you don’t fuck with her.

After my bizarre encounter with Candy, I rejoin my fiancé back in the same room where the musicians are playing once again.

When Zach sees me, he says, “Guess what, hon? The Marshalls told us that we can use one of their guest houses on the property to stay the night.”

My first thought is, What about Eli?, but Zach is quick to add, “Frank and Cissy said they can take care of Eli tonight, if it’s alright with you. Will and Brent are also staying, so he’ll have Nick to play with.”

I’m a little excited to think of what the other guest houses on the property must look like. If they’re anything like the main house, then we’re in for a real treat.

“That sounds great, babe,” I say, kissing him on the cheek.

Our last few hours before retiring to the guest house are spent listening to Christmas songs, having conversations, and enjoying desserts and aperitifs. Elijah and Alex are the first to leave, saying they have an early morning breakfast planned with family members, and as the night wears on, one by one the other guests follow.

Around midnight, our hosts begin to yawn, and they follow Darla up to their rooms. Wes takes us to our guest house and tells us he’ll see us in the morning.

As expected, the smaller guest house we’re staying in is as equally impressive as the main home, with floor to ceiling windows and double balconies on the main and second floors. It’s a true cabin getaway that is both cozy and romantic.

The bathrooms are equipped with everything we need for the night, including toothbrushes, and razors. And…

“Oh, Zach!” I say, walking out of the bathroom while holding a condom, still in its wrapper.

He looks at me strangely and asks, “Did you bring that along?”

That’s when I tell him that one of the Marshalls must have thoughtfully placed it there for us.

  Zach chuckles.

“Knowing them like you now do, are you at all surprised by this?”

“No, not at all,” I tell him.

Then he adds, “I’m surprised they didn’t supply the lube as well.”

That’s when I decide to go back in and do a little more searching. I then peak my head out from behind the bathroom door and throw the bottle onto the bed. Zach just shakes his head.

“Well, what are we waiting for, future husband of mine?”

“I’ll be right there,” I tell him, while I remove my clothes, deciding to use one of the cushy robes that are hanging on the back of the door. After brushing my teeth, I return to the bedroom, dim the lights, and flick a light switch that turns on the electric fireplace that’s in the room.

I decide to lie down in front of the fireplace and I tell Zach to join me there.

The room is toasty, and that’s when I ask him, “What are you still doing with your clothes on?”

I then open my robe, and when he sees that I’m naked underneath, he quickly takes off everything.

“Why didn’t I get a robe like that?” he asks me.

I tell him, “There’s one for you in the bathroom, but you’re not going to need it now.”

He smiles and begins to kiss me on the lips. I can already see his erection growing fast, and this causes me to instantly become hard. Zach’s hands are traveling all over my body, as we lie on the soft rug, facing one another.

Our kiss quickly turns passionate. Something happened to me tonight when he proposed to me, and I’ve never wanted Zach as badly as I do now. I want to feel every inch of him. Rub my hands along his tight biceps that turn me on so much. Lick him everywhere, and take in the unique, masculine scent of his body.

Zach begins to travel down to my waiting cock, where he puts his lips up against it, while holding it in place. I can’t help but want to take a hold of his cock, so I do, as it’s now sitting next to me, and waiting for me to devour it.

I position my body so I’m parallel to his and take a hold of his stiff dick that has been throbbing in anticipation for me. Each little movement of Zach’s hand, every little flick of his tongue and movement of his lips on my cock, continue to stir my already overblown lust.

I devour his cock deep into my throat in a ravenous and relentless vigor. Both of us are swallowing each other’s cock with full on, unyielding abandonment. It feels as though both our cocks are continuing to swell, and only become bigger and more rigid. My throat is wide open, and I just want every last inch of Zach’s manhood in me as I’m able to take in.

Now I want to fuck Zach with just as much unbridled passion. I want to feel myself deep inside him and give him an orgasm he’ll never forget. Without giving it another thought, I pull away from him, get up and whip his body around so that he’s on his knees.

“Fuck!” Zach cries out. “You mean business tonight.”

“You’re damn right I am,” I say, as I pull his lower body forward and grab the bottle of lube off the bed, quickly dripping it everywhere down his crack, and my cock.

My body is almost trembling just thinking about putting my cock deep inside Zach and hearing his long, prolonged moaning.

His body is mine tonight, and from now on. He’s never going to regret marrying me, because nobody will fuck him like I can. Nobody will give him wants he wants more than me, and I know he knows it.

I firmly grasp onto either side of his protruding ass and enter Zach with a quick thrust.

He cries out loudly, “Oh, fuck! Fuck me hard!”

I can feel Zach’s willingness to encase my cock and give me as much pleasure as I’m giving him. He uses his hands to prop himself against the wall, and I begin to ride him relentlessly.

He turns his head and commands me, “Give me it! Fuck yes!”

But I’m done seeing Zach from the back. I want to watch his expression and see the hunger on his face as both he and I climax. I waste no time in flipping his body over and throwing his legs over my shoulder.

I use one quick thrust to enter Zach and watch his eyes as his face contorts. As I furiously pound him, I use one hand and begin to pinch his nipples hard.

He lets out a loud, “Ahh!!! Fuck!”

Our eyes are now fixated on one another. Neither of us have ever wanted the other more than we do now. I’m so fired up watching Zach’s body wriggle with fury though, that I can cum at any time. That’s when I decide I want to watch him cum.

So, I grab onto Zach’s cock and slide my already slippery hands around the upper half of it, concentrating on the head. His mouth is gaping wide, as he is letting out guttural moans, and I know he’s about to shoot his load.

It’s at that moment that I also lose all control, and I begin to cum hard as I watch Zach begin to unleash a spurting fountain of cum. His orgasm is so loud that I even wonder if the sound is traveling through the walls into the other houses.

Fuck it, though. We just got engaged, and what else are we going to do but fuck our brains out?

Zach is now breathing heavily, and his body is quivering as he releases the final drops of cum. My heart is racing and pounding, as both our bodies are now still. We continue to stare at each other, but it looks as if Zach is somewhat bewildered.

I collapse on the floor next to my fiancé, and we lie still for the next ten minutes or so.

At one point he looks over at me, saying, “Well, if I knew this was going to happen as a result of it, I would have asked you to marry me a lot sooner.”

We smile at one another, and kiss before getting ourselves up off the floor. We decide to shower together, but my body is so thoroughly spent that al
l I can do is wrap my arms around Zach and lie my head on his shoulder. I feel so lazy all of a sudden that I ask Zach to wash me, and he obliges.

Once we’re dried off and back in the room, I turn off the fireplace and open a window. The cool air feels refreshing and gives me a temporary jolt of energy. On the wall is a different switch that when turned on, illuminates the forest that is surrounding us.

“What are you doing over here?” Zach says, as he approaches me from behind by wrapping his arms around me.

“It’s snowing outside,” I tell him, and together, we stare out the window into the quiet night, and watch as the snow begins to cover the tips of the evergreen tree branches.

I’ve never felt more satisfied than I do in this moment. I have so much to look forward to: a wedding, a forever husband, and a bright future for the three of us.

“You know, I could really get used to a place like this,” Zach comments, in a dreamy sort of tone.

Then he perks up when he says, “Maybe we should get our own little cabin up here. For weekends? Think how fun it would be for Eli.”

He lifts my hand up to kiss it gently.

Although the thought had never crossed my mind before, I’m nevertheless quick to answer.

“Let’s do it!” I say, with enthusiasm.

I then pause to reflect on why I was so quick to agree to it.

“This place holds so many good memories for us,” I start out. “It’s where the three of us were united. It’s where we became a family.”

As I say it, I become more hyped up about the idea, the longer I think about it.

We stand and gaze on the winter scene in silence for a good five minutes, before finally deciding to go to bed. Zach is having a little trouble closing the window and says to me, “It’s like it’s already stuck from the cold.”

But when he finally slides it shut, it creates a sharp noise that startles me.

“Damn Zach, are you trying to break it?” I kid.

He pauses, and turns to me with a look on his face that says, are you kidding me?

Almost immediately, I realize my faux pas, and begin to say I’m sorry, but Zach begins to laugh, which then causes me to.

He then turns out the light and jumps on the bed, saying, “You should know more than anyone, that breaking windows is what I do best!”

We continue to laugh as he snuggles his body up next to mine and puts his arms around me. It’s inevitable that the church stained glass window incident is always going to be a joke amongst the two of us, as well as to our group of friends. He’ll never live it down.

Before I fall asleep, though, my thoughts begin to wander even further back, to all the events that led up to where we are right now. How my decision to move back to Madison in the first place has impacted my life.

I wonder to myself, if I hadn’t trusted my instincts and had I instead stayed in Chicago, where I’d be right now. I know I wouldn’t be nearly this happy, that’s for sure. It was nice to go back and visit my friends in Chicago but I belong here, in Madison, with Zach and Eli.

I would have missed out on all that’s happened to me since that fateful decision. The wonderful group of friends I’ve met along the way. My lifelong dream of being a business owner. And most of all, having a loving partner, and new father to my son.

“Merry Christmas,” Zach mumbles to me, as he’s drifting off to sleep. “I love you.”

“Merry Christmas, my fiancé,” I say back to him. “I love you too. More than you could ever know.”

I feel myself drifting off to sleep now, with a smile on my face, feeling warm and safe in the arms of my future husband. I know I’ll dream about everything that lies ahead for us, now that both of our Christmas wishes have been granted for two Christmases in a row, and now that we’ll be making our love official in this upcoming year.

Sneak Peek Excerpt of Sing for Me

Here’s a sneak peek of the first book in the Morning Madison series,

Sing for Me, which is Alex and Elijah’s story.

From King Broadcasting Tower, or as I like to call it, “my kingdom,” I have a perfect view of my rival broadcasting company, Tucker Broadcasting. What makes my view even better is the fact that I can see directly into the offices of my rival Alexander Tucker, the owner of Tucker Broadcasting. Of course, my pair of binoculars always comes in handy when I need to get a really close up look.

I’ve been working here for nearly fifteen years and am now the owner. My father started King Broadcasting in the mid-sixties and upon his recent retirement, he’s handed over the reins, giving me total control of the company.

Even though my father had my grandfather’s financial backing back then to start the company, it was my dad’s own ingenuity and hard work that has made King Broadcasting one of the top stations here in the Midwest.

Since I’m in between clients at the moment, I decide to pick up my trusty pair of binoculars to see what Alex is up to. He’s pouring himself a cup of coffee right now, before sitting back down at his desk. Then suddenly he looks directly at me and raises his cup to me.

  Now that was embarrassing.

Quickly, I get up and hide behind a wall, dropping the binoculars on the floor along the way. I don’t know why I should be all that embarrassed though. I’ve caught him on more than one occasion doing the same thing to me: watching me, his rival.

Alex and I have a long history of competition. We first met while in private middle school where we were both members of the chorus. Even back then we would often spar over who had the better voice. Call me biased, but in my own humble opinion, I think my vocal abilities far exceed his.

Not that Alex is totally lacking singing talent… far from it. I just always thought I was the more talented one out of the two of us. At one point I thought I could have made it as an opera singer, but there came a point when I realized that the universe had other plans for me. And I’m okay with that.

Now here we are once again, the two of us… twenty-five years later. We’re forty-year-old men, still striving to outdo each other—not in singing, but in the competitive world of broadcasting.

As far as singing goes, these days, I’m not part of any choir or competition, but I just like to sing all alone at my home or office. I especially like to sing songs by my favorite composer, Oliver Dubois.

Suddenly, I hear my intercom beep, followed by my secretary announcing, “Mr. King, your next appointment is here. Shall I send them in?”

  “Yes, go a
head.” I look down at my daily planner which says: 10 a.m. Will and Zach, Variety show pitch.

Oh jeez, not another one of these.

I hear a soft knock on my door and two handsome men walk in, both of whom look to be around my age. With a confident, movie star smile, the lighter haired of the two men offers his hand out to me. “How do you do? I’m Will Davis and this is my business partner, Zach Taylor.”

“Nice to meet you. Please have a seat,” I motion. Then I add, “Did my secretary offer the two of you anything? Water, soda?”

They say they’re fine. Both are impeccably dressed… stylish, but not trendy. And Will has a definite charisma and star quality about him. Despite this fact, it’s so rare that anyone proposes any new ideas that dazzle me, so I don’t have my hopes up about these two.

I ask, “What can I do for you two gentlemen?”

Will is the first to speak. “Let me begin by saying thank you for meeting with us. Zach and I had an idea for a morning talk show we’d like to pitch to you. I would act as host and interview a variety of celebrities, as well as local members of the community. As an openly gay man, I’d also like to feature light, human interest stories that affect the gay community. However, the whole gay angle would not be my main focus.”

Right about now… after four or five sentences, is when I usually begin to zone out. Will’s not saying anything that I haven’t already heard a thousand times before. I listened to a near identical pitch just yesterday. And it was just like all of the many that came before it. After a while they all begin to meld together into one big tedious pit of nothingness.

Now completely tuned out to what this man is saying, I begin to think about last night’s dinner party I had with my friends. I think I really wowed them with my new solo performance. They went on and on about it and even suggested I get back into musical theatre.
