Bad Parts Page 32

by Brandon McNulty

Sue Ducharme provided a phenomenal copyedit. Her work made my jaw hit the floor, and she spotted several plot-related issues that I overlooked during revisions. Her ability to restructure sentences for maximum clarity and impact is a skill I envy.

Major thanks to everyone who read the manuscript in full and provided feedback. Vic Rushing shared his guitar and editorial expertise, David Dubrow challenged me to make Snare more menacing, Devin Olshefski called me out on tons of laughably bad dialogue, Elicia Messier pointed out issues with Candace, Zack Hammond pointed out issues with Lauren, and Carol and Denny McNulty caught dozens of embarrassing typos.

Thank you to everyone who provided feedback during various stages of the writing and publishing process: Curtis Chen, Steve Kopka, Diana Davis Olsen, Jeff “Yeff” Soesbe, Robert Quinlivan, Jenna Devine, Andrew Heaton, Peter Forbes, Scott Grivner, Karen Junker, Jacob Baugher, Brandon Ketchum, Shannon Eichorn, Lindsey Barlow, and Ellie Gossage.

Special thanks to everyone who helped with research. Mike Dorbad, Kate Lytle Rushing, Mary Ellen Judge, and Steph Harkins answered my bizarre medical questions; Dave Scherer answered my legal questions; Genel Gronkowski answered my psych questions; and Tom Meluskey enlightened me on what cars my characters should drive. Any inaccuracies in the story are my fault entirely.

I’d also like to thank the people who believed from the very beginning: Jennifer Yonkoski, James Wallace, Mary Lampman, and Carol and Denny McNulty.

Finally, I’d like to thank you, the reader, for spending time in Hollow Hills with Ash and her crew. Hope you’ll stick around for the rest of their story!
