  Why does this work? For your subconscious it does not matter whether you really experience being rich or whether you imagine being rich. In both cases your subconscious gets to experience that it is possible for you to be rich and as a result, the limiting conviction is gone.

  See it this way: In most cases your limiting belief is simply not true and there is no reason at all to keep limiting yourself this way. You may need to get used to seeing yourself in a different way, but this is a small price to pay for what you get in return: a truly more fulfilling life.

  Here are some more examples of limiting beliefs regarding money:

  Belief: “You have to work extremely hard to get more money.”

  Reality: While you do have to apply some effort and work, it is in fact NOT the super-hard struggling at work that attracts more financial abundance.

  What matters is to get into the flow of abundance by applying the Manifesting Formula and then being open towards any new opportunities and financial sources that come your way.

  So yes, you may need to “follow your hunches” and take action, such as taking up a new side-business or hobby that pays well, or go to some conference that resonates with you, etc.

  Following your hunches is very similar to listening to your heart.

  Always try listening to your heart in anything you do, especially when faced with a decision of some sort. Your heart will guide towards the best solution every single time, always.

  It may not be easy at first to recognize what this soft feeling coming from your heart is telling you to do. Learning to listen to the heart takes practice and the repeated realization that your heart was right every time you decided to follow it.

  Belief: “It is impossible for me to live an abundant life. I have always been poor, etc.”

  Reality: While it is true that some people’s destinies predispose them towards easier access to financial abundance, it is also a fact that anyone can live in financial abundance. At this point, our mind usually brings in more limiting beliefs, such as “But there is not enough for everyone to be rich” or “Only a few people can be rich, while the rest must be poor.”

  Again, nothing could be further from the truth. There are more than enough resources and money so that everyone can live an abundant life. The universe is full of unimaginable abundance in every respect.

  In fact, all of us are meant to experience abundance, including financial abundance. The reason why we do not see more abundance in the world is that most people have mental and emotional blocks that sabotage abundance.

  Furthermore, most people unknowingly commit one or several of the 5 Most Common Mistakes in Manifesting.

  Belief: “There is only one way how I can get more money.”

  Reality: There is no need to limit yourself like this. Even if you stayed in the same job for a long time, there may also be other options for you and these other options may include something you enjoy much more. Open yourself up to receive money from any source and any direction, even in the most unexpected ways.

  Belief: “Most rich people are scumbags. Money corrupts.”

  Reality: This is a pretty common and quite self-defeating belief when it comes to money. Many people dislike money and then wonder why they do not attract any. On a subconscious level, if you believe that money is “bad” then you block more financial abundance from coming into your life.

  It is simply not true that money corrupts everyone. Money simply enhances people’s predispositions and allows them to do what they really want. Some people get stuck in greed or lust for power, while others can do a lot of good with the financial abundance they attract.

  Just think about it: Can you help your family and other people around you more by being broke or by being rich? Money can be a very positive influence in the world.

  Peaceful and clear mind vs. negative chatter in your head

  It is also worth mentioning that there is another extremely common mental block that almost all people have. This block is the habitual negative chatter in one’s head (internal dialog).

  This chatter in the head has a somewhat similar negative effect as limiting beliefs, in that it usually makes you focus on negativity, which you then attract into your life.

  The reason why we do not talk more about this negative mental chatter is that it is based mostly on negative beliefs. So the more you change or let go of those limiting beliefs, the easier it becomes not to get stuck in negative mental chatter as well.

  Emotional healing is the other thing that greatly contributes towards a peaceful and clear mind.

  2. Emotional Blocks

  Emotional blocks are a big one and are very often overlooked in books and films about the Law of Attraction.

  What are emotional blocks?

  Emotional blocks are psychological, subconscious wounds on the level of feelings. Very often, there are emotional charges on top of these wounds. A common emotional charge is rage that is triggered by pushing someone’s “buttons”. A “button” is an emotional charge with a wound underneath.

  Unfortunately, all of us have emotional wounds and charges.

  Nobody has a perfect childhood and so everyone is emotionally wounded to some degree. Most people cannot remember the origin of their wounding and pain. The reason for this is that emotional wounds are usually created in early childhood and since then we habitually use all our will to suppress these very uncomfortable experiences into our subconscious.

  However, suppressing the pain of emotional wounds never really works. Inevitably, emotional wounds come up again and again in situations which resemble the original situations in which the wounding occurred in childhood.

  What do emotional wounds feel like?

  When emotional wounding comes up, it always feels very uncomfortable and even painful. Emotional wounding is usually accompanied by deep sadness, extreme rage, hopelessness, emptiness and other similar emotions.

  Since we are so used to suppressing and not really feeling these negative emotions, we may only notice that our body becomes tense and uncomfortable. When you focus on this tension in the body (around the neck or in the belly, for example), you may notice that it is there because you are not acknowledging some uncomfortable emotion, such as sadness, fear or anger.

  As long as uncomfortable emotions like this are up, it is very difficult to focus on using the Law of Attraction. In the beginning, it can help to wait until the emotional discomfort passes, so that you can then the three steps of manifesting.

  How do you heal emotional wounding?

  Emotional wounding can only be healed through our own efforts – that is, through different forms of therapy or self-therapy.

  It takes quite a lot of effort to truly heal emotional wounds and process through the emotional charges. And no, it is not a lot of fun either. In fact, you have to open up to your hurt places in order to heal them – and this can feel very uncomfortable, even painful.

  Most emotional wounds are caused by not getting enough love, acceptance or approval from our caregivers in childhood. However, now as adults, only we can heal our emotional wounds through inner world work.

  In essence, you need to find within yourself the love, acceptance or approval that a hurt place in yourself craves for, and give it to this part of yourself. Emotional wounds are healed by giving yourself the feelings of self-love, self-acceptance and self-approval.

  Why do these specific feelings lead to emotional self-healing?

  The reason for this is that emotional wounds were created through not enough love, acceptance or approval. In early childhood, only parents or care-givers can fulfill these emotional needs. Whenever this does not happen to a sufficient degree, emotional wounds are created.

  Only you can heal your own emotional wounds. This can be done either in self-therapy or with the help of a good therapist.

  A lot of the time, wounds are suppressed. However, you can only heal a wound that i
s currently “up” and hurting.

  To heal an emotional wound, you need to find love, acceptance or approval and bring it to the painful, hurting place in yourself.

  For example, if it was the lack of approval that created the wound, you need to find the feeling of approval for yourself and hold it for at least a few minutes.

  While some wounds can only be healed by holding the feeling of love, other wounds can only be healed through the feelings of acceptance or approval.

  How do you know if a wound needs the feeling or love, acceptance or approval in order to heal?

  Usually you just have to try the three feelings one after the other. If you bring the “wrong” feeling to the hurt place, nothing will change. However, if it is the right feeling, then you will immediately notice the pain become less intense – the wound will be soothed and healed the longer you hold the “right” feeling there.

  There can be big differences in how much time is needed to heal a specific wound. Sometimes, just a few minutes are enough. However, to heal a bigger wound it can be necessary to hold the feeling of acceptance, approval or love for up to 10 or 15 minutes at the hurting place.

  Emotional Charges

  What makes healing emotional wounds more difficult are emotional charges which often need to be processed first before you get to the emotional wound underneath them.

  Emotional charges are pent-up and suppressed negative emotions, such as deep sadness or rage (those are the two most common ones). When people say that someone’s buttons have been pushed, they are in fact talking about emotional charges.

  Generally speaking, you can process an emotional charge only by allowing yourself to feel it at least to some degree over a period of time. As long as these uncomfortable emotions are suppressed and ignored with all our will, it is not possible for the charges to decrease and dissipate.

  Suppressing emotional charges and other uncomfortable feelings is an automatic reaction which we learned in childhood. Back then it was an important protective mechanism, because as children there are some things which we simply cannot process and deal with.

  As adults, however, we are able to process and heal everything – every emotional charge and wound, no matter how painful or uncomfortable it may seem.

  It is important to understand that emotional pain cannot hurt us in any way. Opening up to those painful places is indeed an important requirement in order to heal the emotional wounds that are causing the pain.

  One of the fastest and most effective ways to release charges and heal emotional wounds is the Golden Flow System. It removes mental blocks as well. It can also help to look into literature on inner child work, such as John Bradshaw’s Homecoming book.

  How exactly are emotional blocks a problem in manifesting?

  Unresolved emotional wounds in the subconscious make us feel miserable: unworthy, unloved, not good enough. All these emotions are big blocks when it comes to manifesting.

  If you desire more money, but at the same time feel that you do not deserve it, then it will be difficult to manifest more money without first dealing with the underlying emotional wound that makes you feel unworthy or undeserving.

  It is also plain distracting when an emotional wound or charge comes up. With that kind of emotional discomfort or even pain it is very difficult to focus on anything worthwhile, such as using the Law of Attraction.

  An important rule: When you block or avoid feeling any negative emotion, you also block all positive emotions! In fact, this can lead directly into a depression, if the avoiding and blocking of feelings is done long enough.

  Suppressing feelings is never a good idea. Even if it feels somewhat uncomfortable at times to feel some sadness or anger.

  Another important rule: What you suppress you also tend to attract. And it is usually not something you really want in your life.

  Becoming healed, clear and strong on the emotional level has many advantages. One of them is a more fulfilling and enjoyable life with much less emotional suffering.

  On a deeper level, a healed emotional body also makes it easier to connect to your divine self (also called Higher Self or ‘soul’). This in turn makes it easier to listen to the heart, apply the Manifesting Formula and follow the spiritual path you are on.

  Connecting to your Higher Self happens mostly on the emotional level, not mental. Deep fulfillment, sense of purpose, listening to the heart – this all comes from your Higher Self and happens on the emotional level.

  The more you heal on the emotional level, the more you can consciously experience a direct connection to your soul, which is accompanied by blissful feelings.

  5 Most Common Mistakes in Manifesting

  In this chapter we will talk about the 5 most common mistakes in manifesting and how to overcome them.

  1. Wanting (as in “grasping” at something)

  Wanting can be quite a big block in manifesting. By focusing on wanting something, what you really focus on is the energy of not having it.

  This is a bit tricky, but all you need to do is just focus on what it will be like to already have what you desire and how it will make you feel to already have it.

  Feeling a deep longing or desire for something is completely different than wanting or “grasping” energetically at something. When you grasp at something, what happens in energy is that it moves away even further – the opposite of attracting it.

  It is necessary not to “grasp” at what you would like to attract, nor to “repel” or push away the opposite of it (for example, a lack of money). The Law of Attraction works best when you are on-center. Grasping and repelling bring you off center.

  2. Not spending enough time with the desire

  Basically, this means not applying the Manifesting Formula. To attract and manifest what you desire, there is no substitute to imagining and then feeling what it will be like to already have it. Ideally, this needs to be done every day for at least 2-5 minutes, or even better 10 minutes.

  The more you do this, the more you speed up the manifesting process. You will literally start feeling that you already have what you desire. That is the sign that the manifestation of this desire is not far away, if you keep applying the manifesting formula and the other two steps: taking action and removing the blocks.

  3. Focusing too much on the negative

  While it is important to acknowledge and not deny problems, it is also equally important not to get stuck in self-perpetuating negativity.

  The Law of Attraction works both ways: positive and negative. If you keep focusing on lack, such as lack of money, then you keep telling the universe that this is what you want more of: more lack. The universe provides us with what we focus our energy on.

  So instead of focusing on what you do not have, simply apply the manifesting formula and focus on what it will be like to already have what you desire.

  It is a simple choice and act of will not to indulge in self-perpetuating negativity.

  4. Being afraid of disappointment

  It is a very common block to not want to imagine and feel what it will be like to already have what you desire, because we do not want to be disappointed if it does not manifest.

  However, the truth of the matter is that when you imagine and feel what it is like to already have what you desire, THEN THIS DESIRE CANNOT HELP BUT MANIFEST IN YOUR LIFE.

  The more you apply the manifesting formula (Step 1), take aligned action (Step 2) and remove the blocks (Step 3), the quicker and more powerful the manifestation of your desire will be.

  5. Depleting your energy through bad habits

  Bad habits can be very different from person to person. And yet all of us have bad habits which deplete our energy. Depleting your energy makes it more difficult to manifest what you desire.

  Definition of ‘energy’: The energy we talk about here is much more subtle than electrons, neutrinos or any other particles known to science. Through healing emotional wounds, it is possible to start feeling this
energy as it flows in you. The chakras are major energetic centers each of us has and it is usually easiest to start sensing energy in and around the chakras. However, it is not necessary to sense energy in order to stop bad habits and accumulate more energy for manifesting.
