But as the event wrapped up and his arms wove around me while we waited for the valet to get our car, I cushioned myself in his heat.
It would take him a few minutes to figure it out, maybe even longer if his cock ruled over his head which was a majority of the time when I was within ‘passing’ distance.
Yeah, you can take the boy out of football, but you can’t take football out of the boy.
Sometime tonight, he would see it.
The tiny bump I’d been hiding from him for three weeks now.
He was as attuned to my body as I was his, but I’d been adept at wearing clothes that hid our tiny nugget and I’d blinded him with interesting outfits and lingerie to keep him distracted.
My supernova was going to be a father again.
And I knew that he’d explode with happiness and excitement.
Life was good.
No.
Life was great.
I’ve always wanted to write about space. I’ve had this story in my head for so long that I never forgot about it. Every time I start to write a prologue, I’d wonder if it’s the time when I can finally write about an astronaut. I honestly didn’t know if it was going to be Bridgette. But when I started writing her, it just felt right and I didn’t know the journey that I was going to take when I put Scott’s and her story into words.
As you know me well by now, I write stories from my heart. I don’t think of who will be reading it, I just wish that they’d enjoy it as much as I did when I’m writing it. I’m a mere transcriber of the characters in my head.
I truly loved writing Scott and Bridge. To me they were quintessentially romantic, they’re proofs of what you sacrifice for dreams that you’ve loved before you knew how to love another person. I hope I was able to make you feel that. Scott is ambitious and so is Bridge and I don’t ever want them to apologize for that.
I believe in a love strong enough to support each other’s dreams and ambitions.
It is my hope that Supernova, like every story I write, will inspire you to always reach for the stars and keep dreaming because without dreams, life’s kinda boring.
My husband: Thank you for the constant support that you give me. I know I wouldn’t be able to finish a book without you. You give me strength when I have doubts and how can I write about love if I didn’t know it.
My daughter: You’re the best gift your dad and I have received. I hope you grow up as strong of a woman that you could be.
For my family: You give me shoulders to lean on when I need it, thank you.
My friends in and out of the book world: Friendships wouldn’t mean as much if it weren’t for all of you. You know who all of you are, much love.
To the One Up Above: For every single blessing, thank you.
My readers: Another book, another story. Thank you for reading and reviewing them. I always hope for one of you to share the experience with me and I’m ever so grateful when you do. Thank you for sharing your time with me, I appreciate it very much. I’d love to hear from you! If you have a teeenyy bit of time to write me an e-mail : [email protected], letting me know how my books have (positively, hopefully) impacted your life in any way, please do. I hope to keep writing stories of love, laughter and everything that’s good in this world.
“I write because I love it and for no other reason. The minute I stop enjoying it will be the exact moment I will stop writing.”
Anne Leigh is a 30-something-year-old who refuses to let the calendar dictate her age. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and a Master’s degree in Nursing. She likes to write about strong women and equally strong guys who grapple with their emotions when faced with something as intangible as love.
She lives in Los Angeles with her family. With her crazy schedule, she gets frustrated at L.A. traffic and needs an escape to keep her sanity, which thankfully her characters provide.
She didn’t think of publishing her stories and when she finally did, she’s truly appreciative of every, single person who found the time to let her characters become parts of their world.
She appreciates all the readers who leave kind comments/reviews on where they purchased the book because without them, all her stories would remain locked up in a thing called “computer.”
She’s always happy to find new friends and would love to hear from you via:
