Riona could not bring herself to resist him this time.
He reached down and moved his hand along his cock, running it up and down her hot slit and coating the head with her wetness. Riona didn’t dare look. She had never seen a man unclothed before.
“No... no, I’ve never...” Riona wriggled her hips to avoid Alistair’s cock, but to no avail.
“I know, little one. Just breathe. Breathe for me.” He thrusted himself inside her tight sheath, breaking through the thin membrane of her maidenhead in one single surge forward. Riona felt herself tighten around his manhood immediately, the feeling of being so unbelievably full was almost too much already.
Riona clawed at his chest. The dull ache she was feeling was beginning to subside and she was screaming for more now. He halted his movements to allow her to adjust.
“Is this what you wanted? To be filled and fucked by a man? You would have begged me last night, wouldn’t you? Right there in the storm, you would have begged for my cock. I know it. I know all your thoughts. Well, beg you will, my dear, once you’ve given in to the pleasure only I will be able to give to you.” Heat began to form deep within her. His words were affecting her the way no man’s ever had before. He pulled out, leaving only the tip of his cock inside her, a small tinge of blood she could see covering his shaft.
“A virgin... oh, yes! I see it, am I the first, little one? Hm? Look at me! Am I the first one to thrust himself in this sweet little cunt and take your maidenhead?”
The man’s voice dropped as he took her chin and forced Riona to look at him.
“Is this what you imagined? Being taken in the forest by a beast that calls you his mate, or did you imagine something else?”
Riona’s hands were pinned to the ground again. The beast squeezed her wrists tight as he leaned in as close as he could and buried his face in her throat. The position encouraged him to thrust harder. If Riona concentrated, she could almost hear the slight crunching sounds of his bones beginning to morph. He was fighting a shift.
“A man who would carry you to your marriage bed only to use your body for his own pleasures, is that the life you envisioned for yourself?” The truth struck a chord deep within her. She very well could have had that life, being promised in marriage to a man who cared nothing for her, ending up like every other woman in her village who was unhappily married.
“You are not like any other woman... you are special.”
He spread her legs wide with his own, burying himself deep within her as he groaned.
“I... n-no, I didn’t...”
Riona squeaked as the weight of him pressed down on her chest. He looked as if he couldn’t help himself. Riona tried to fight the thoughts beginning to swirl in her mind. She tried to resist her body’s acceptance of him. But what if he was right? What if she did crave the feeling of his big scarred body on top of her?
Such a contrast, she had thought to herself. She had only now realized how tanned and rough his skin looked against hers. He was otherwise devoid of any imperfections, almost godlike in his appearance. Riona stared at her stomach pressed against his abdomen. The warmth of her flesh grazed against him with each thrust. He raised his body up, grabbing hold of her hips and pistoned himself into her.
The new position had allowed for extra pleasure, which Riona tried to internally fight. However, the clawing of his forearms and the cries of pleasure were telling him a different story.
“There’s a good little mate, take it. Take all of me.” He pressed a large hand against her abdomen, causing her whole body to jerk violently. Riona’s hands found their way on top of his to keep it there while she began to feel her impending orgasm. The cries had turned to broken moans as he hit her cervix. She could actually feel his cock beneath both their hands as he fucked her.
“I knew you would be this way... torn between fighting me for taking what is mine, and just giving in. But I know what you need. Fuck, I know what you need. Ah! Gods be damned, this is mine. Every single, solitary inch belongs to me.” He grunted as Riona felt herself clamp down on his cock.
“It is only natural as my true mate, chosen just for me—”
Riona opened her eyes in time to see his canines elongate, sensing what was about to happen.
“To accept who she belongs to, and who she serves from now on. Do you accept my seed, little one? Do you willingly wish for this? To be filled by me?” The wolf growled as Riona imagined he felt his impending climax.
“Ah! Mmm... I-I...” Riona moaned and spread her legs further, a silent plea for more of him. Somehow she knew he would give it to her tenfold.
“Ohhh, you must say yes, my darling, you must accept me. Only then will the mating be completed, and only then you will belong to me... say it. Say it, Riona!” He grabbed her hair, pulling her head back and exposing the throbbing vein at the side of her throat.
“Y-yes... yes! Yes! Ahhh!” Her scream echoed throughout the forest so far that she was sure the neighboring village could hear her.
The intensity of her orgasm caused her entire upper body to arch, exposing her vulnerable neck even more as her mouth opened in a silent scream.
His entire body tensed as he let out an inhuman howl and spilled his seed deep inside her womb. The warmth she felt awakened a feeling of euphoria, bringing tears to her eyes. He bit into her throat, her blood filling his mouth as her legs wrapped around him, keeping him inside her as she milked every last drop from him. Riona did not scream after his teeth entered her, only gasped and held onto his arms tightly as she moaned into his shoulder. It was as if she had felt nothing.
He finally withdrew his teeth, licking and kissing the wound in an act of sealing it. Slowly, he pulled out of her freshly fucked cunt, Riona knowing full well she had taken every bit of what he gave.
“I will have you with child within weeks, little one.”
Riona heard an echo of his voice, but could not react.
Even then, his cock remained stiff as he made quick work of tucking himself away, letting her gently fall back to the ground. He couldn’t take his eyes off her now. The realization of what just occurred hit Riona immediately. The intensity of the pleasure she had been subjected to and the circumstances were all too much for her mind and body to bear. She wrapped her arms around herself, covering her breasts and turning away from him on her side as she sobbed.
“Shhh, come here, dove.” He rolled her back over to him, ignoring her tiny protests as she continued to cry.
“What kind of creature are you? The village will search for me!” Riona whimpered.
“I will count on that. Killing every last one of them will be my personal pleasure.” The beast’s matter-of-fact statement made her eyes widen.
“I have no qualms about killing who I must in order to protect you, Riona. If that makes me a monster, then so be it.” He remained on top of her, smoothing her mussed hair from her face. She felt the dirt that had smudged on her cheek, and she had only now felt she had split her lip open, likely having bit it. Riona looked down to find the bruising on her hips and thighs. Evidence she was no longer pure, and belonged to the darkness now.
“Who... are... you?” Her eyes grew heavy lidded and her head began to loll back. She was exhausted, as to be expected.
“You will call me Alistair, my sweet. And you are safe now.”
Riona’s tears came quicker, trailing down her nose.
“I want to go home...”
“Soon, my dear, we will be home soon. Just melt into me, for when you wake I will be right beside you.”
“Noo...” The man called Alistair stroked her face gently. Bringing his mouth to her ear, his low melodic voice murmured soothing words. Slowly, Riona felt her eyes flutter as her hands left his chest. The last thing Riona remembered seeing before feeling warm hands cradle her was the dominant grin of a man she knew now owned her.
Chapter Four
Alistair attempted fashioning some sort of coverage from the shreds of her nightgown to cover her up, leavi
ng only her stomach and legs bare in the end. He gently picked her up from the ground, taking care to support her head and not let it fall back to risk injuring her neck. Observing the puncture wounds left on her neck, Alistair realized that the bleeding had already stopped, but his mark would not fade completely until she underwent her first shift. That would take time, he knew, and he intended on doing what he could to prepare her. Riona would not know what to do if she were alone.
The world seemed to move in slow motion as he made his way back to his territory, their territory now. Landmarks that signaled he was close to home went unnoticed. The bond to Riona was already so intense that he actually found himself growling at passing wildlife that was curiously sniffing in their direction at the new scent gracing the forest. He never felt such an urge to protect another.
Finally, he entered his home and was greeted by his pack. The excited cries filled him with a sense of pride as they fawned over the little sleeping beauty in his arms, amazed that such an angel was their newest member.
“Alistair, what an enchanting woman, so beautiful.”
Ceardach looked at her with warmth in his usually sullen eyes, reaching out a hand to touch her face, which he then retracted when Alistair very audibly growled at him. A warning to all that she was his and no one else’s.
“She is more beautiful than I ever imagined, Alistair. So very perfect for you,” Elspeth praised, seeming to already have a very strong liking for his mate.
He did not allow them to crowd her for too long. She would wake soon.
“Elspeth, would you please follow me?”
She nodded and shooed the pack away, silently signaling they must be left alone. She followed him to his home, opening the door and shutting it behind them for privacy.
Alistair set Riona on his bed gently. Despite his initial roughness with his new mate, he now feared hurting her.
Elspeth did not ask what was needed of her. As the only member of the pack who was gifted with her sensitive abilities, this was something quite frequently asked of her. The older female immediately leaned over Riona, who was sleeping peacefully in his bed. Alistair fought the urge to imagine her naked covered in only his furs, beckoning him with her little finger to come to her.
Elspeth moved her hand over Riona’s head, not quite touching but a hair’s breadth away. She supported the back of her head with her free hand, carefully going over her body with her ocean blue eyes.
“You should have been gentler with her. She is quite fragile indeed.”
Elspeth sighed, raising one eyebrow at him, making Alistair look away. He could not imagine having abilities like Elspeth’s.
What he understood was that she could see flashes or images of sorts. She could sense injuries not visible to the naked eye, even illnesses. She then found ways to cure and heal the ailments, which made her a very much needed individual in the pack. She was more than happy to do it. Elspeth was considered a ‘mother’ of the pack, often being the one to come to for advice, or when one was unwell. But such powers were so rare. Alistair vaguely remembered another wolf like her living in his lifetime.
“Is she alright?”
“She will be shaken when she wakes. Terrified. She is very young, Alistair. You must guide her, and as her mate surely you can understand that a creature so beautiful, so high ranked now that she is an alpha mate, must be protected at all cost. As well as any pups she will carry.” She protectively rested a hand across Riona’s belly.
“The mating has been completed, yes?”
“Yes, Elspeth.”
As open as wolves were about their ways, he himself was not entirely comfortable with sharing such details, even with such a close friend like Elspeth.
She smiled, licking her thumb and wiping away the speck of dirt on Riona’s cheek. The very maternal gesture made Alistair smile. She always was very caring for each member of the pack. The love she held for them was similar to the love a mother held for her pups, despite having none herself.
“I feel that she will carry your pups very soon. She is young but of age. Quite fertile. You are positive she hasn’t a mate in her village?”
Like hell he would still be living now if she did.
“I would have known by now. She is alone.”
He frowned; his mate should not have been left by herself alone and unprotected in the world.
Elspeth smiled, satisfied as she leaned over and pressed her lips to Riona’s forehead, but stopped and froze. Alistair knew that look.
“What is it? What do you find?”
“I smell another on her. Our kind.”
Alistair froze. He was positive she hadn’t been taken by another. He would’ve sensed it. And the evidence was still smeared on his cock. He could smell it. Alistair fought the arousing images.
As if she read his thoughts, Elspeth clarified, “No, not in the sense you would think. It’s as if she were being followed. Tracked by another at the same time you were, but I-I cannot place him.” Elspeth ran a hand through her white-blonde hair, appearing to concentrate on what her gifts were revealing. “He was careful. He must have made contact with her recently and continued to follow her. I can see him speaking with her, touching her face perhaps... her hair... I see him going no further.”
Elspeth worriedly inspected Riona’s throat for previous bites that went overlooked, but nothing turned up, much to Alistair’s relief. If he had taken the mate of another, it surely meant war. But even if he had, he knew for certain he would be unable to let her go. They were blood bonded now. Any wolf who dared try to find her and take her away from him would prove to have made a grave mistake.
“I cannot see who this was. It’s... different. But you are lucky you got to her before he did. I fear that—” She paused, staring out into space with a look of terror.
“Elspeth, what? What is it?” He shook his friend’s shoulders.
“It cannot be... it has been years... I thought that...”
“Dammit, Elspeth, who?” Alistair growled.
“Cinead...”
Cinead. Alistair hadn’t heard that name in decades. He had been part of the pack long ago when they were both much younger wolves, but Cinead was dangerous. Unstable. Alistair had caught him multiple times harassing the females of the pack when his uncle was alpha. He was always known to be inappropriate, but as he grew older, he also grew more confident. He’d been accused many times of harassment toward unwilling females of the pack, going as far as shoving his hand up their skirts or cornering them when they’d hunt, or leering comments about forcing himself on them if he ever found them alone.
Cinead also enjoyed killing for sport, not sustenance, often times going through entire herds of elk in one night just slaughtering them. There would then be nothing left for the rest of the pack to feed upon, since food was scarce enough in those times already. Hunters took most of what the pack preyed on, yet Cinead felt no remorse for cutting off their food supply. He found it amusing, and it was always a power struggle for dominance and control.
Alistair had been the one who put a stop to it when he caught him. He begged his uncle to exile him. After what seemed like endless empty warnings from the alpha that seemed to never faze Cinead, Alistair had enough. He cornered Cinead, warning him that leaving on his own would be better for him, because if he ever made trouble for the pack again, he would kill him. It was a bold move. Such a threat would be considered overstepping his bounds. He was not the alpha and had no right to make such a threat. But Cinead was too dangerous.
Eventually, Cinead was exiled; the last straw being an initiated challenge between him and the alpha for no apparent reason. Cinead had openly insulted him, boasting about how “such an old, useless alpha could not possibly know what was best for the pack.” Alistair could never forget the rage that spread across his uncle’s face as he snarled. The very idea of such a challenge was archaic even in that day, but his uncle won of course. Cinead had been left badly injured, and was told to never return, or face the con
sequences. He left that same day and had not been seen since, likely presumed dead from the extent of his injuries.
Panic rushed through Alistair; his stomach dropped as the memories came flooding back. The bastard was back, and this time after his mate. He attempted to hide his fear the best he could as not to alarm Elspeth, but he knew she would smell it on him. He hated to show weakness, but this was no minor threat. For Cinead’s scent to be on Riona could mean nothing good.
“You think he had his eye on her, possibly already tried to mate with her?” Alistair fought his churning stomach as he paced back and forth.
“Is it possible, yes, but she was intact when you took her?” It was a serious question, but discussing it with her made him feel sick.
“Yes.”
“Well, I cannot see for certain what kind of contact he had established with her, but what I know for sure is that you are the only one to bond with her.” Elspeth rubbed Riona’s forehead and frowned.
“If you remember Cinead, then you would know that he was used to taking what he wanted. Tell me truthfully, do you believe he will come for her?”
Elspeth visibly shuddered. Alistair recalled that she had refused Cinead’s advances many times before as a young female in the pack. One incident, he had grabbed her by the hips, trapping her behind her home and nearly forced himself on her until he was stopped by Alistair. However, she was not intimidated by him. The duel was a bloody event indeed, and she could hardly contain herself when he finally walked out of their clearing.
“I do not know, Alistair. But luckily your bond with her will protect her in the event that he does find her alone and attempts to mate with her.”
“He will not find her alone because she will not leave my side until I find him and kill him!”
Alistair flipped a chair, causing it to break into several pieces. He braced his hands on his wooden dining table, trying to control his breathing to prevent a shift.
